I drive by this shop all the time and decided to get a cut. Im glad I did. This place is a vibe, the staff was cool, and attentive to my needs. Best of all, I walked out with a fresh cut and a crispy shirt!! Ill definitely be back.

Mr. Sam always does a phenomenal job on my haircuts. By far the best in Richmond. I don’t go anywhere else. I also love that he plays jazz music while getting haircuts. He’s a great guy.

I absolutely loved my first hair cut (by appointment) at Park Place Barbers. Maria was very detailed during my haircut and beard trim. She also provided great consult on how to care for my hair with natural products and provided tips on growing it out properly. I have been searching for a local, small business to take care of my hair as I grow it out; I have found this wonderful place complete with fantastic music, friendly environment, and quality service. This is a hidden gem, good old fashioned style barbershop. I got a shave and it was amazing, with hot steam service and fine oils and lotions. The music and atmosphere reminds me of what an NYC shop would be in the 1930s. A must visit.

Ive been coming to this shop for 17 years. Its gone through some changes after John and Gene retired, but it looks like things are finally sorted out. Sam and Maria are back up and running (with some new barber chairs) and my hair cut came out great!

I have gone here for 21 years and I got my first hair cut here. Its a good place with good people. John and Gen great guys who know how to cut your hair. ask them what you want or bring in a picture and they wont disappoint.

Sergio does a great job, this place is always busy but that tells you hes a great barber. Worth the wait. Took my son Cyrus to get a skin tight fade with a hard part and it came out slick! Clean

Ive been going to Park Place Barber shop for over 16 years and I do so for one reason only. GREAT HAIR Cuts! John is the best barber / stylist I have encountered in 20 years of searching. I also drive from Brentwood to Point Richmond to get my haircuts.About $20 extra in gas just to travel there but its worth it. If your looks are important to you then go to Park Place Barbers, you wont regret it.
