After 4 months of coming here, I have to give my props to Monica! She will deliver a phenomenal haircut and always make you feel welcome with her genuine personality.Everyone there is very friendly as well and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and laid back.

Its a smaller barbershop with a laid back vibe. The ladies who work here friendly and know how to cut hair. Definitely my go-to place from now on!

Perhaps I went into my haircut with expectations that were too high, but I am disappointed with my overall experience here. Let me start off by saying nothing about my experience was particularly bad, but nothing was particularly good, either. I am used to salon experience and thought thats what I would get, but my haircut felt more like a haircut I would get from Supercuts. The person cutting my hair didnt do a bad job but they also didnt really seem to care. As part of my haircut, my hair was shampooed, I was given a beer, and I was given a neck and shoulder massage. They only had one selection of beer and my massage lasted about 30 seconds. I wasnt expecting much for the massage, but definitely not worth an extra $5. If you are going to come here, I would recommend just getting a haircut and shampoo.

Great place to get your haircut. Clean shop, friendly and smart staff. Ive had my haircut by Monica and Marilyn and both did a good job. Good beer selection if you get the directors cut.

A great spot for a haircut - especially for kids! I came on a friends recommendation after I took my then 18-month-old son to Kidtopia in Midlo (which he did not like) and shed mentioned that shed taken her son here and hed loved it.My now 21-month-old did great with his haircut. The chairs are large enough that I was able to sit with him facing me, which helped him stay calm. They also play a movie during the haircut, which kept my 3-year-old very still during her hair cut (shes not unhappy in the photos, shes just very focused on the movie).Have been here twice now and both have been great experiences. The ladies are very sweet and funny and friendly. Would highly recommend.

I have been here twice and had a great experience both times. The staff know what they are doing and give good haircuts, and the vibe inside is good. They are being careful with Covid, so you cannot eat or drink while inside like usual. However, you can still get drinks and snacks to go

My boyfriend just got his hair cut here. They are incredibly nice and talented at Action Cuts! The atmosphere is great as well, it resembles a small movie theatre and you can eat popcorn while you wait! Will definitely be back!

We were passing thru Richmond from Pa.and my husband decided to get a haircut while there! We Google several places and choose Action Cuts! Boy we were glad we did! Very nice inviting place! Owner Jen was very hospitable! And the cut was great! If we lived there, Action Cuts would definitely would be the place for us!

You can also order a massage and other barbershop services here, for a few dollars more. A basic cut is $19. My cut was great and Ill be going back!

Always an awesome experience! Marilyn and Jenny are incredible! Definitely worth it for the shoulder massage and great local beer! Have been going over a year now, and they have been wonderful every single time. Cannot say enough nice things about Action Cuts!

This place has become my go-to barber shop in Richmond. They may be under the radar compared to the other places in town (all of which are great and reputable), but the women of Action Cuts are all highly skilled at their trade, friendly, and have created a relaxing space for a cut. And the price is right, too. Also, beer. You will not be disappointed.

Love this hidden oasis. Stopped by today by referral and enjoyed my experience. The salon is ascetically spectacular. Movie theater setting makes conversations at ease. Fully equipped with all the amenities to give a true Hollywood experience.My stylist, Noel, showed me around and made me comfortable from start to finish. She was very knowledgeable and assisted me on the best package to suit my needs. The neck and shoulder rub was the icing on the cake. Even Jenny, the salons owner, extended herself, hospitality and heart to both my guest and I. She introduced herself and immediately opened herself to us. Overall, I love the salon and my new stylist. I think Ive found a family!!!!!

I got a haircut at Action Cuts last month. It was perfect. Exactly what I wanted. I will be going back for another one tomorrow.

Friendly staff, good conversation or no conversation if you want. Movie trailers playing the whole time as something to watch. Price is very reasonable, especially for a local/non-chain. I know Ive recommended them to all my friends.

Reasonably priced, fast, and very professional. Communicated well, and made sure I was pleased with every aspect of my haircut. I usually cut my own hair because Im picky, but decided to try going somewhere for the first time in quite a while, and Ill definitely be returning.

This place is hidden gem in rva. Its a great haircut at a great price. The staff is very friendly and have awesome customer service. The Producers cut is well worth it.
