Ive used Madison HVAC often for repairs and installation of furnace and a/c units, they have always done a super job. Recently they replaced a 20+ years old a/c unit, Dan and George were the techs. They did great work getting the new unit up and running quickly and when they left, everything was neat and clean around the work area. I highly recommend Madison.

Madison HVAC installed central heating and air in our 200+ year old house. They were THE ONLY company that we interviewed that was confident in their approach and followed through in every way. Once they got our Money, now they want more money.. When you install new duct work and it falls down, you should fix it. They wanted to charge us $99 to fix something they didnt do right in 2019.. Terrible! Read the reviews, people write them for a reason! They lady who answered my call was rude and Terrible.. All my Toyota friends you heard it from me Madison HVac let me down.. I called last year to say my crawl space was cold and then I found a duct that they installed correctly laying on the ground this year.. When a company is wrong, own it, dont be rude when someone tells you your work was garbage.

Purchased HVAC in May 2020. Received a great price. Installation was excellent. Workers were professional, wore masks and booties in the house plus laid out carpet protector and took all trash plus the old unit with them. Other than a new A/C you’d never have known they were here. My electric bills are lower overall. We just went through an ice storm and the unit performed flawlessly. I couldn’t be happier.

I just got a new HVAC system installed today. I got three different quotes and Madison had the best price and they installed a Bryant HVAC, which is a very good quality. Derrick came to my home for the quote for the job. He explained my options and gave me his recommendation on what I needed. He didnt try to sell me something that I didnt need. I accepted the bid on a Monday and they were here by Wednesday to install. The lady from the office called me to schedule my appointment and she explained what was going to happen that day. The workers showed up on time and knocked the job out as planned. The technicians were professional and very courteous. I paid the price that I was quoted and very happy with my experience with Madison HVAC. They replaced my upstairs HVAC 4 years ago and they were equally impressive then. I chose the right company both times. Would definitely go with them again in the future.

I called in the morning and received same-day service, and the technician (Matt) arrived in the window of time as promised. We have an older system but he was able to quickly troubleshoot the problem and explain what went wrong. He was able to replace the failed part without trying to upsell me, and before he left he stayed to confirm that the rest of the system was working perfectly. Ive used Madison for AC service before and had similar positive results. I would definitely call them again and recommend them to my friends.

Everyone from Madison Hvac has given us excellent customer service. Carol returned our calls promptly and answered all of our questions. Dan and Kyle installed our hvac system. They were on time, professional, and courteous. They took special care to not damage my house, they wore masks the entire time, and they explained everything they were doing. Once they were all finished they explained the thermostat and how to change the filters and you couldn’t tell they had been here once they were gone. The air handler fan motor stopped working and I thought it would take days to get someone out to repair it. I called Madison HVAC. I talked with Carol, who worked her magic to get me scheduled the same day. She is smart, fun to talk with and very personable. The tech arrived on time and followed Covid protocols. He diagnosed the problem quickly and made the repairs. Thankfully, during the system check, he noticed the 60 amp fuses were arcing and advised to replace them to prevent a possible electrical fire. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and all about customer service. These guys are now my go to HVAC company and the only company I recommend. Madison HVAC performed our install in 2018. It was a very seamless experience and we were impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of the various representatives for this company. Their value was also superior to other companies recommended to us. Today we had a condensation clog and George, who did our original install, came out promptly & cleared it for us in a short amount of time. He is meticulous with his work as well as knowledgeable and wastes no time getting the job done so the temperature of your home is comfortable again. The office personnel have also been very helpful and engaged any time we have had contact with them. They answer questions and keep you apprised as to when the technician is on the way to your home. 5 stars from us!

We have called on the services of Madison HVAC/R, Inc on multiple occasions. The most recent was a complete replacement of one of our units. Matt initially arrived and performed an initial inspection of old system and determined it needed replaced. George and Dan installed the new system once it arrived and they were also both pleasure to work with. They were expeditious in their work and addressed all questions/concerns we had regarding the new unit. They also thoroughly tested everything prior to leaving the site. Additionally all of the folks I spoke with in the office were incredibly friendly and informative (Carol, Mandy, and Renee I believe). Wow! I have never had such amazing service from an HVAC company. Over the phone setting up they were incredibly flexible, gave me several options for payment and were so friendly. When the installers came they were very professional and nice, and even took the time at the end to show me different components of my new system and some basic maintenance instructions. I am a single lady and home maintenance can be intimidating but this entire process was completely smooth and it definitely felt like money well spent and a great investment for my homestead. I love my new thermostat and the systems work wonderfully. I will definitely be using Madison HVAC for any future HVAC needs and recommend them to everyone I know.

So easy to work with. Went above and beyond to get our new system working properly. Even coming over on the weekend with a new part to replace a incorrectly placed one. Months later I called with a filter question. And again they worked hard to help me. I can not say enough good about this local company!

I called Madison HVAC and told them that I had a bedroom that was extremely cold, and they sent out a tech and sure enough the bedroom doors were closed and the return was in another room and could not do its job.The ceiling fans were also changed to rotate clockwise for the winter months so the heat is forced back down. I had no idea, and for their diagnostic fee I have a warm bedroom now.

Madisons A/C technicians were knowledgeable, fast, efficient and accommodating. So far, Derek and his crew have installed a complete home heating/cooling system in my house. Then later, I brought them back to change out my old duct system that was literally falling apart. They designed and installed a balanced system that is capable of delivering even heat to all parts of the house. Or, if I choose, portions of the house can be dampered off-allowing me to heat part of the house while leaving the rest with reduced heat and A/C. On one occasion, Derek himself came out when I was having a thermostat problem. Derek had it sorted out in no time flat and we were coolagain-(pun intended). Another thing I have noticed-Derek and his entire staff are so closely connected (electronically) that they can operate as a team-even if there is only one of them present. Im convinced that Derek and his crew can solve ANY HVAC or refrigeration problem. Theyre fast, theyre fair and theyre fabulous. I wouldnt call anyone else-hands down!

Update as of 1/18/2019:Absolutely a 5 star this point. Ended up remodeling one of the rooms soon after the mini split was put in. Emailed on a Thursday. Mini split was taken down first thing Friday. Emailed on Monday and Mini split was re-installed first thing on Tuesday. The point of contact person for this organization is incredible and responsive. A remodel itself can be a little daunting let alone dealing with HVAC equipment. This company made the process as easy as it could be in that regard.Just had two Mitsubishi mini-splits put in with an outdoor unit. Work was done in 2 days. Crew showed up on time and ready to work. The units are incredible and have worked flawlessly. They are a diamond dealer for the Mitsubishi units so you get a really nice warranty which is a plus. I did have a small issue which was immediately taken care of and handled well which is the real reason for the 5 star. They run a tight ship and you can tell they stand behind their work.

I am very happy with this company. I had a thermostat/drainlne problem. The service guys Matt and Bob were professional and efficient. The telephone support was awesome also! Their pricing was great. I would not hesitate to call them again!😊

Often we find that those we engage to assist us are more focused on their business and income; however, Madison HVAC?R is not in that category. They listen and serve your needs, they do it with excellence and care, and they are very fair in what they charge. I have used them now on many times and they have been just as good every time, no matter whether it was heating, air, or repairs. This is one of the finest companies I have ever hired and I highly recommend them.

We received excellent customer service from our first contact until the last. I emailed late on a Saturday evening and was pleased that someone was able to respond that evening and help me troubleshoot via email. They contacted us again the next day to check on things and had someone at our home first thing Monday as we were still having issues. When they returned to install our new unit, the techs were very professional, courteous, and respectful of our home. I was very pleased with their service and will call on them for future HVAC needs.

James Shelton here, I would like to highly recommend these guys for your next Hvac problems. I had a New packaged heat pump install not only did it arrive early these guys put it in the same day! These guys was very professional and was very knowledgeable of the job. And to top it off I had some problems with my house cooling a couple days later (was bad ducts on my end) and they came back even though it was on me and sealed the leaky ducts free of charge. Now if you ask me they went above and beyond to earn this customer 4 life ;) highly recommended!

Great service provided for a new furnace. 2 other companies in town wanted to also replace the A/C unit along with the furnace, one saying it had a leak. The a/c unit is fine and MadisonHVAC installed the furnace in 1 day. I also saved more than half the money quoted by the other before mentioned companies.

Weve had ongoing problems with the HVAC system installed by these folks a few years ago. Derek has gone above & beyond the call attempting to make it right. The issues was with the equipment & although it was on warranty it was constantly failing or not keeping the temp up on very cold days. Last week they suggested just replacing it at a price that we felt was more than fair. Our brand new Bryant system is the bomb compared to the old one, the installation went great too, we couldnt be more please!

We were handed an estimate for $20,000 for a new Roof Top Unit. There was no way we could do that and I was told that was the only option. I touched base with Derek, he came out and in a couple of hours it was COLD, it was CLEANED out and we were up and running for pennies on the dollar. I would post the bill if I could find it. I cannot recommend them enough

Had an issue on a Saturday where my A/C decided to stop working right. Called a few places and left some messages as it was 5pm. Madison HVAC returned my call and came out that night at 9pm! These guys are amazing. I had them come and work on my system this summer after having my warranty people tell me that I needed to replace my whole system. It was explained to me by Madison HVAC that all I needed was to have my compressor repaired. They did the job the next day and I have had absolutely zero issues. Derek has been back by for some other things that I have valiantly messed up and easily corrected the issues for little to no charge. I cant say enough about the level of customer service provided. Madison installed a new HVAC system over the summer at my moms. This weekend it got cold and she couldnt switch over to heat. My mom is elderly and i tried to walk her through changing the settings etc. I was out of town and couldnt help. Also, Trump was in Richmond and traffic was gridlock. I worked w/Mandy at Madision HVAC and she got a technician Matt to moms and fought the traffic. So, they got her heat on and programmed the thermostat to be easy for her to switch back and forth. It is rare that I will write a review or promote a service company, but in this case, I will sing the praises of Derek and his entire team at Madison HVAC. They did an outstanding job on replacing our entire HVAC unit. Our old unit was around 16 year old and was not keeping up with the heating and cooling needs of our house. Our energy bills were going through the roof so we needed a change. We also wanted to move the location of our unit since we were adding onto our deck, so they took care of all of this without any issues.Derek came to our house and checked out our old unit and let us know different options and the benefits of each option. He helped us find the best unit for our budget and setup the installation based around our schedule. When the day came to perform the installation, they showed up on time with everything needed to get the job done. They are truly a professional team that has the skills to handle any job. I was impressed with how great the install looked and with how well the new unit performed. They told us how to use the new thermostat and answered all of our questions. They took the time to talk to us and make sure we were comfortable and satisfied.It is difficult to find a service company that will do what they say when they say it, but Madison HVAC does just that! Review in one word: Excellent. The friendly and knowledgeable staff of Madison HVAC/R took the time to find the problem in my old AC system. A few other companies didnt take the time to find the problem, but the technician was diligent about doing the job right. They showed up promptly and were very professional. All HVAC places are the same! They all try to rip you off! Theres NO difference between this one and that one! WELL....... Thats the way I used to think but not for a long time now. Two seperate businesses, two or three houses, and quotes on poetntial future projects....He was and still is there for them all! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone, anywhere, for anything! I have given his name/number out to numerous people for repairs and new installations and will continue to do so. A little lady I know (originally from Germany) was quoted work other places and after speaking to me she went with Derek, not only because of his companies professionalism but also the price. Her new system should be in place by now, as her started on it hours after she agreed to the work on Monday. Bottom line is.... You can get it done other places thats for sure, but why take the chance on it being higher, being done improperly, or having a contractor treat you like second class???
