This place is a rip off. Close their business, disconnect the phone while attempting to charge client every month. Truly a fraud.

This place has some serious issues. Roof leaks every time it rains. Management knows, but has taken no action.There is gum on cardio machines. Still there months after reporting it.Not worth your time or effort.Spoke with the manager. No idea why 24 hour would let this person run a club without the concept of personal accountability. She blamed her employees for all the issues at the club, and then explained how I am an idiot who doesnt understand how business is done.Seriously reinforced my opinion that this club isnt worth the effort it takes to open the front door.

I registered up at this location in September but recently moved to a location in Seattle where there is no 24 Hour Fitness convenient for me. I was told I could cancel at any time and whenever I did I would still have the next month since I already paid for first and last months fees. Sounds great right? I called to cancel my membership and it turns out I was signed up for a yearly commitment without my knowledge. I can only cancel if I moved 25 miles away and there is no club within 25 miles of my new residence. There is one 10 miles away, in an awful location in downtown Seattle that is not convenient for me. Now I have to pay the last 5 months of my contract and will probably never step into 24 Hour Fitness in that time. I feel absolutely deceived. Make sure you specify you dont want a yearly commitment and double check whats in the agreement, because now Im paying for two gym memberships. Not a great business model intentionally misleading customers. Im never working out at a 24 Hour again.

Horrible experience with cancellation policy. racist manager, doesn’t really care about gym members. If you want to cancel make sure you do it ahead of time otherwise they will charge you at the beginning for first and last month and then at the end youll pay for that last month too. If youre not able to come one more month after cancellation they will not make you a refund, and make sure if youre trying to cancel online you read carefully, dont be fooled!This is second time when I get to cancel for different reasons and now I know for sure Ill never register again. Dont waste your money, find a better place!

Check it out! This gym is awesome, from a clean, neat and organized facility, to awesome coaches. The classes Ive attended have been incredible. I personally done come from a fitness background and Ross, Kam, Thor have helped to inspire me to better myself. Set some goals, check them out, and live the life your meant to live!

A pretty basic gym. Not very big, does not have a lot of amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Gym and locker rooms are always clean.

Just joined through my health plan. The gym is clean and the equipment is newly updated. Looks like it has been expanded since my last visit several years ago. Really nice!!

The only reason they get 2 star is the staff is friendly, its too bad they wont do their job when i pointed out all the gym bags in the workout area he informed me that was against their policy ....also written down in the entrance.... he said they will look into it... that was 2 weeks ago! I guess still looking into it.

Join this gym in june have not set foot in it because of a back problem want to cancel they will not let me never was told that I could not cancel before a year if I used the gym I could understand but i have never set foot in it since I signed up don’t think it’s fair do they need money bad?

It is small but usually not crowded by any means and the staff here are pretty friendly. They remember me by name when I come and go. This gym also has the Arc Trainer, which is the best workout next to running, for me anyways. I think they just got in a whole slew of new equipment as well. Great place to workout if you are just looking for the basic workout equipment.

Im a life time member. Dont think they do that anymore. The new guy at the front desk is rude. I say new because I think hes been here less than a year. Otherwise me and the hubby love coming here.

New Manager has very pleasant and so has all the staff members there. They genuinely care, smile when you walk in, and answer the best of their knowledge. 😄It was different in the past but time has changed and management for better

Honestly Im not sure how this gym has the rating people have given it.. I got a 3 day trial pass online, and when I walked in, the manager started talking down to me as if Ive never been in a gym before.. This would have been okay, if he wasnt so rude and snarky with his tone. He literally would have said the same words in a different tone and it wouldve been fine, but instead he was very belittling.As for the facility, there are no hand towels for wiping down the machines, just cheap thin paper towels, which half of the dispensers were empty. As a result; NO ONE, I REPEAT, NO ONE, WIPED DOWN THEIR MACHINES AFTER USE. In a gym this is seriously the most basic courtesy and it was non-existent.The equipment was very poorly maintained as well.. many of the belts for resistance machines has cracks and bad wear marks, I could see rust in just about every weld on the machines, and everything would creak or wobble. When doing strict form lifts this is incredibly dangerous.. About 40% of the cardio machines were non-functional as well.Overall I took my License and left without the guest pass, as I will never come back. Perhaps the other reviewers on here have never been to a nice facility in their life, but this was just pathetic.

I call them to know monthly payments the front desk told me the manager center busy and he/she will call you back with 5min.One hour pass without call, when I call back she told me the manager not here.Excellent customer service....!!!!!

At first it was a good gym, and I was having a great time working out there. Then one day I came in to cancel my account due to me having to travel abroad. The manager wasnt in and I was told to leave my info on a post-it note and give it to the front desk, which I did. Afterwards, they charged me $40 and my friend $55 for accounts that were allegedly cancelled. We came in to fix the issue, where they cancelled our accounts, but refused to refund us the money. I hate their customer service, and their employees dont know what the heck theyre doing. One of them thought I had scheduled a meeting when I came in and tried to usher me into a side room. Thurougly dissapointed. Planet Fitness is my go to gym now.

Place isnt very big but nice workers and all the necessary stuff to satisfy the average gym rat. Thumbs up for me.

The only reason its 2 stars instead of 1 is that the staff are really great. Everything else.... Not so much. The lighting is awful, the gym is actually pretty expensive (relative to LA Fitness which has plans that go down to $25 per month), and there arent many additional facilities here (LA has saunas, a pool, basket and racquetball court). I cant believe I paid as much as I did for so long, and that it took me so long to cancel after I stopped going. Its awesome theyre open 24-7, but I never ended up using it beyond normal business hours. Again, the employees were really great! Theyre the only reason I signed with this gym.

Most of the time staff at this facility are nice and its clean. However person working tonight is really rude. They always have problems with checking in usually only one finger reader works well staff wouldnt let me use it then I tell him other one doesnt work he laughs and says isnt that unfortunate. Ive been a member for 2 years maybe I should just cancel that would be unfortunate.

This location is OK but nothing like the one in Kent. The equipment is a bit older and kind of awkward to use.Staff is friendly and they keep the space clean. I probably won’t use this one much if at all.

When you look up customer service a picture of Robert should show up. He was a breath of fresh air very helpful he even gave me place to check out for my visit here in Washington. We need more people like him. 😆😊👌

Used to be the gym we went to until the day a personal sauna became available online.Went a few days a week, pretty okay spa - some days whatevers in it made breathing difficult (but some days it was fixed). The womens locker room was trashed by the gym goers and the locker room floor was kind of furry more nights than not. Evening seemed better than morning because of crowding.The staff was kind enough. The wave of folks who were loud as f**k in the sauna was unavoidable, about once weekly itd be great. Bring a towel for under you and one to hide your head if you want to come relax. Careful to wear durable shoes or prepare to slip in the shower room after - with no rubber mats, the floors were slick and it made rinsing risky.No complaints for the membership manager position, polite to policy and firm when we explained and then signed to cancel. Prime staff.

Crowded but a nice little gym. Equipment functions as advertised but I only went to this location once. Again, it is small but you seem to be able to get a good workout without waiting too long for a machine

Nothing fancy here. Decent gym with most of the equipment needed to get a good workout. The equipment is a bit older, but they are slowly upgrading.

Make sure to read all the terms and Conditions before agreeing to anything that they are saying. The explane something but they will have you sign something totally different and it is impossible to get your money refound. Supper unsatisfied the way that I got handled.

Place is never really crowded. Not the best in maintaining the equipment. Rates keep on going up every year, even with a contract.

Its fine if you want to just do weights or cardio or both. There isnt any swimming pool or sauna or things of that nature. They do hold spin classes and dancing exercise classes, but its mainly weights and cardio

I like my membership so far. The renton 24 hour fitness needs a cleaning crew. It smells horrible. Also, dim lighting, Noone looked happy, and noone was putting their weights away. Ive had better experiences in neighboring cities.

Manger was extremely rude and unprofessional. I literally signed up for the membership within a week and he was calling me off of my machine in order to try to up-sell me and got angry that I didnt want to talk. I go to the gym to workout and then leave, not listen to sales pitches while Im lifting. What made it worse was that he caused a scene because he didnt get his way.All other 24 Hour Fitness locations are legit, but I would not recommend this facility.

No equipment. Super small. Its a shame.

Its ok. Kinda crowded but enough similar type machines to get your workout in. My home gym is in Los Angeles (LAX) and this active in Renton doesnt stack up to LAX. Renton might have more square footage then LAX but the design and position of the equipment makes Renton feel unnecessarily crowded. Just seems like Renton has too much dead space where they should spread out the equipment. Again its just ok in my opinion. For comparison I gave Renton 3 stars and LAX 4 1/2 stars.
