Amazing establishment; busy staff, very friendly. Clean and well kept equipment. Great layout for a variety of conditioning. A number of different opportunities for any to build and make a workout. Also, staff needed for night owls! Anyway, planet fitness in renton is awesome! Glad to be a member.

Been signed here for a year. I love the gym, had to stop my membership though but even that was so easy and fast, plus they will do a three month freeze on the payment if you are having financial issues. I definitely recommend

Every time I think it’s safe to come back to this Particular planet fitness, I come on a day when member after member is without masks or pulling them down while working out.If you are concerned about safety during these trying times, this is not the Gym you want to go to.But if you are ok with maskless people who only seem to care about themselves, this is the gym for you.

The first two months of my membership here was amazing, we didnt get a single warning or complaint from any of the employees, but ever since this assistant manager, Alex, was hired, hes been constantly giving my friends and family complaints and warnings, from what we were wearing to threats. The first warning was what we were wearing, we were tanktops that day and they werent stringed tanktops, but we couldnt wear them, the second time was a friend of mine wearing a onesie, and its understandable he talked to us about this but when we asked him a question he threatened to cancel our membership.And the next day someone else was working out in a onsies and he didnt say anything to them, note that not only were they wearing onsies but they were also disrupting the gym, such as slamming weights and messing around with the equipments and he ignored them. And another time a group of guys came in with stringed tanktops, they walked right pass him and he didnt say anything.I dont want to make any assumptions, but I believe hes discriminating us and has ruined our outlook of planet fitness, so weve canceled our membership. Its honestly sad to leave such an amazing place with amazing employees, but were tired of being pushed around by this guy, I hope you consider this message and do something about your assistant manager, I cant stand this unprofessionalism and discrimination.

Nice gym. Friendly staff. I always see them walking around disinfecting the machines. Every time i go always looks nice and clean. The massage beds they got are amazing after a nice workout. The price is very reasonable compared with other gyms. They also got a nice app that tells you how crowded the place is before you go. I recommend this gym.

We had signed up right before the lockdown and theyd charged us accidentally twice, but when I came in the first time after they reopened they credited me for the charges with no issue whatsoever and were super understanding and kind. The gym is clean, and they enforce the mask and cleaning requirements well. All the staff are super nice. Zero issues so far.

John, the manager, just cancelled my membership. He told me that I couldnt have my hoodie on the bench that I was using... Funny, because these pics were taken IMMEDIATELY after he told me that he was cancelling my membership, and NONE of these people were confronted.Perhaps hes racist, sexist, or just insecure... Regardless! I would NOT recommend this club, till they find another manager.I had been a member since they opened their doors, and I had been going there almost every day for YEARS! This is NOT how a loyal member should be treated. I had been in a web commercial for this club, and previously introduced several new members to it. Im not sure what they are thinking!(original review, before John took over the managers position):Fun environment, great staff, and friendly members! They could use new benches (very unstable), and heavier weights, but you can get a decent workout in. Ive met some awesome people, and made plenty friends. Its kinda nice to see other members around town. Theres a sense of community!

Young lady working the front counter was extremely rude and condescending. She was “acting” more than 5 times in one visit like she was incapable of hearing me. Lacks the ability to communicate properly. bully mentality. Haven’t been back since. Let’s grow in 2021. This is a community gym. People should feel safe coming here. She wears a gold pendant with the letter “k” all of the other employees seemed very nice.

Loved that i was able to work out again!!! Appreciate that all Covid rules are followed, it adds comfort. The gym was super clean, staff extremely kind and helpful.

I moved, so this wasnt my main gym. The first time I came in, the staff made it very clear it was annoying to scan in people from other planet fitnesses although I pay for a black card. 2nd time I come in, they require eye protection. I left mine at home, theyre out of stock of single use and the reuse ones and I cant tan although Im a member. Please, make it easier on us members. Thanks!

Ultimate Karen assistant manager, all employees are high schoolers, tiny gym, annoying people in gym. Been to many gyms around the world and this was one of the worst

Good place. They do a good job of cleaning and have enough machines. No pool like other gyms though. And the $10/month is misleading.

No membership allowed without full bank info for payment. Credit cards are only available as payment if you prepay a whole year.

Love the place I go almost every day. Only down side is the lunk alarm. Its embarrassing if it accidentally happens to you.

They have reopened now. People were observing masking rules well. They have blocked off every other machine. They taped off 6feet squares around the weight benches. Not all patrons were wiping off the weights. Would advise to wipe off weights before and after.

WARNING. Worst experience I have ever had with a company. I am extremely disheartened by my experience at this location. Do not plan on visiting this place if you do not intend to manipulated and trapped into continuously paying without your consent long term for a subpar facility. When I moved I told the front desk my intention of canceling my membership and received verbal confirmation of their intent to cancel my membership. Turns out they never made note on my account, continued to charge me, and refused to cancel me. You have to visit the location to cancel and they tell me this after I moved and was in person notifying them of my intent to cancel?Management is extremely rude and unhelpful and told me it was literally my fault for not confirming and reading the fine print when I got signed up.Run. They will literally try and con you out of your hard earned money then spit in your face and tell you that you are stupid when you try and resolve the issue.

Relaxing, frendly place to have fun and get healthy

This location has just started to reopen. Numerous times I’ve come and have had to wait outside. Sometimes up to 15-20 minutes. They don’t offer reservations or have limits to how long customers stay. I have been recommended to use the crowd meter on the App and even AFTER using it & scheduling my arrival based on this tool, it’s not accurate.Poor communication causes inconvenience. Really hope they’re rethinking how their team handles the reopen & everyday operations.

Went in with my boyfriend he upgraded to a black card so we can exercise together soon. I bought us both gym bags then we went to lift weights and I was surprised of how I wasnt super weak to lift..

I was hesitant to start here, due to the reviews and general rumors about Planet Fitness. However, Im glad I gave this place a chance, because Ive only had good experiences here!Signing up was easy, and really informative. I respect and appreciate when a business is transparent about their prices. Going in, they let you know that there is a monthly and annual payment, which requires a bank account (because its taken out automatically).The gym itself has great variety. Theyve got free weights and stair masters and a lot more. An interesting and great addition is their workout help areas, where they have timed and organized exercises planned for you. So if youre ever unsure of what you need or want to do, you can just go to these areas and get a workout done.Im not even sure if Im explaining it right, but if you go, youll know what Im talking about!Lockers are clean. Note that they dont give you towels or bathing products (just basic soap). Bring your own shower supplies (they have about 3-4 showers). And bring your own lock for your locker!

I was SO happy to finally find one close to me.Day or night The place always clean.The prices havent gone up in a decade, (which is great for those on a fixed budget)Staff is nice,Perks of black card are great.Busy times machines are still available.Free trainer help.Bringing a friend with me.Hydro lounge chairs are great... usually. (When theyre super busy they can overheat.)New management has been great too.My only complaint is them only having 24 hours during the weekdays. It should be open till at least 11 on the weekend. They have a lot of turnover with employees & consistently understaffed late at night, at least lately.

Decent gym for those who arent looking to lift many free weights. This place cracks me up though. First thing they tell you is this is a judgement free zone then u see a big sign on the wall that says Dont be a Lunk. So what they really mean is... judgement is reserved for people who arent like us. 🤣

This place has all I could ask for, I was actually surprised with how clean and ample the space was the first time I came in. The price is unbeatable, and their signup process was a breeze through the app.

Friendly staff and for the price, you just cant beat it. They have enough equipment to serve the purpose of pretty much any fitness level. Their hydro massage tables are awesome to relax in after a really intense gym session.

I was working out the pecs (with a mask on), facing the opposite direction as this elderly lady. (She was not wearing a mask) and approached me to point out a social fitnessing sign and told me to get off I was not allowed to use this machine. Now for weeks this was a machine that didnt have that sign and it and its double now both had a sign when only one should have. Out of habit I sat down not worrying about it.This lady had to not only turn around, originally facing the other way, but also walk over six feet, WITHOUT A MASK, to tell me this. If I remember correctly one of the things the employee told me was they were telling people to help keep social distancing standards. Smart to put the responsibility in the customers hands, especially since everyone is pumped full of fear because of the pandemic.If the elderly lady was so worried about catching COVID she shouldnt be going to the gym in the first place. Unfortunately you cant just go about your own business in this place.

This location in Renton Highlands is a Covid party in the making. Many people without masks. Staff does NOT do the work of asking them to keep their masks on. Workout at your own RISK!!!I just flew from North Phoenix 10/2/20. The one on 32nd and Greenway was much better. Staff was busy doing their jobs.

Just joined and Im feeling this place. Had a great workout in last night and feeling really good about myself this morning. The staff were super nice when signing me up and gave me a lot of good tips for my workouts. Im excited about really staying committed and becoming the best version of me.

Canceled my account in June, apparently they didnt write it down, kept billing me for months and refused to fix the error when I noticed.Edit for response: I canceled my account last week by calling in. Which is what I did in June and was told my account would be canceled. I was charged many months after June once gyms reopened. No reimbursement offered.

I had to go in, in person to cancel my membership, which is bs in a pandemic. But then after I had cancelled and signed the papers, turned in my card and everything, their automated billing system still charged me for the next month. This has happened to a couple of people I have heard of, where they will keep charging your card until you take it up with the credit card company, which feels like they know most people dont check their cc balances closely enough to notice for a couple months. It feels sketchy, is all Im saying.Edit: not my annual fee, my monthly fee, I was charged for a monthly fee for the month after I had already cancelled.

Planet fitness is an awesome gym to work out at. They have everything youd need, the price is just right, and the people working out arent all jacked or super skinny. Im glad I am able to use planet fitness for my workouts.

I really wanted to write a 5-star review for this club, but unfortunately recent events have changed my mind.I joined this club on a pre-paid membership, and when I started the membership I asked if I could transfer to a different club down the road, as I knew Id be moving. I was told Id have to wait three months to transfer, but that it would be no problem.Well, five months later Im unable to transfer to another club - and the management is essentially ignoring that I was TOLD by a member of their staff that I could transfer. They apologize that I was given misinformation but cannot act to do anything to support the information I was provided. Essentially, they are saying its OK that one of their associates lied. They arent obligated to worry about it.Ive rarely felt so unvalued as a member. The manager even said, Ill try to get your membership transferred and if that doesnt happen Ill process a refund. After not being called back by the manager, I had to call three more times to keep the process going. On my penultimate call, the manager said, Ill contact the accounting office and call you back in 15 minutes.Then...crickets. No call back.So I called back the next day and was told they couldnt transfer my membership and couldnt offer a refund due to the contract I signed. So I guess they dont care that their employees lie in order to get a membership - or that the manager doesnt return phone calls when he says he will.Time for a new gym.UPDATE: As of February 15, with the work of a new manager (Chris), this Planet Fitness made it right and provided a refund based on all that had happened. I am very grateful for his work on this - and have changed my rating. Im glad this happened on many levels, but one reason is really did like the gym itself. Thank you.

Good value for price. Not enough hand sanitizer stations though, and most of the hand sanitizer stations that are there are usually empty.

Went to the locker and a kid was vaping inside the locker WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!SAME KIDS THAT SLAM THE MACHINES NOBODY SAY NOTHING BECAUSE THEY ARE FRIENDS WITH THE STAFF!!!!!

This place is a decent gym but the management has an issue with keeping the back extension machine in the stretching area. Ive been using one of the two back extension machines for years and although the staff supports providing the machine with enough size so a person can do side crunches management has removed the better of the two machines twice. Please bring back the good back extension machine.

Great gym. Very clean and friendly staff. Lots of workout options, in the sense of machines. Regularly goes through renovations and updates to make sure everything is top of the line and best. The trainer is amazing. Super nice guy and does more than regular PF trainers.

I’ve seen times when it’s been slipping or bad due to some of the staff...but I have to say right now it’s looking pretty good to me 😊 the machines are always clean.. the staff is very friendly and I love all the perks to being a black card member (tanning, hydro massage, and red light therapy) awesome!! I’m very happy to workout here!

Every Planet Fitness Ive visited has been clean and has had well-maintained equipment. I like the fact that they normally hire friendly front desk staff who check you and your guest in without issue 9 times out of 10. I just wish theyd lose the tanning beds and add a steam room — Id get some use out of a steam room.

I go here very early in the morning (4:45am) so my review may not align with others. The bathrooms are clean (I have never showered); the staff is friendly; and there is ample equipment, perfect for anyone just looking to stay active. Bonus I never had to wait to use a piece of equipment yet. Another great thing about this gym: $10 per month. Cannot complain about that.The negatives:The weights are not racked or in the right place in the mornings. Not sure how this is possible, the staff cannot be that busy.It lacks free weights. The environment is not very motivating.Dirty equipment (dusty) compared to other gyms I visit.Overall this is a decent gym. Its an option for most people who just want to join a gym; plus at the $10 price point, you get way more than you are paying for.

Super welcoming and friendly gym. The staff members are helpful and greet you both on your way in and way out. Shout to to my man Kyle working late at night. Speaking of which, if you work nights or are otherwise a night owl like myself, I strongly recommend this gym if its close to your home or workplace, or simply along your commute. They dont have a ton of power lifting equipment or squat racks, but if youre just starting your fitness journey or just want to focus on the essentials, this is a great place that offers memberships at a great price.

Waited 10 minutes to use one of the massage beds as a black card member finally got on and waited 5 minutes for it to start after a minute it stopped working, went to the front desk and the guy was like yeah one of the chairs went down. Sorry about that. Not a care in the world. Why should I pay $20 to be a black card member and then get treated like that. Customer service should be number please at this moment I feel like cancelling both my wife’s and I membership. I would give that service zero stars if I could.

Havent been to this location in a while just started up again and was pleasantly surprised by how they revamped everything inside. All the equipment looks absolutely new. I like the changes made at the spray down stations. Much classier. I havent been inside the shower yet to see if theyve been fixed up to but Ill let you know as soon as I do. Still going home to shower, LOL. Nicely done guys.

Love love love planet fitness! Employees are very knowledgeable about all of their machines and all of their things. The place is also decorated and made to be very cool. They are none judgemental so it s okay let it all hang out. Very clean. Im paying 10 a month with no strings attached.

I have been doing workout at this gym for many months now and it is awesome to be here!  My trainer is the best!  This gym really has excellent classes and trainers.  The facility is classy, nice, super clean, and equipment all updated.

Great gym owned by two body builders with no pressure to be greater than you want to be. They also have an option to get your electronic fingerprint that allows you to access the gym anytime day or night.

Very clean. Lots of equipment to choose from, updated facility. Instructions on each machine with easy to follow pictures. Something for everyone. Go in, get your work out on; feel great about what you just did for your health. Repeat.

Very reasonable price, nice equipments, and fantastic staff. Was paying literally 15 times (yes 1500%) more for Bellevue lifetime fitness and wasnt getting what Im getting here.

I come around 3 times a week, Machine are clean . I like the massages bed which is very relaxing but once awhile didn’t work so I use the lounge . Very friendly staffs, morning time when see Neko, he will smile & friendly to everyone when they come at the door

What I love most, is how clean it is there, people are so respectful, they wipe down their own machines after use- you cant find that anywhere else really. A 10 on my rating scale! Like most of this gym. Wish it had Olympic bars for squats and bench but guess the Smith machines will have to do. On a side note I considered lowering to 3 stars do to Fox news always on the TV....

Great deal on a fitness membership. Cant beat $10 a month. For $20 a month you get extra perks like use of any planet fitness nationwide and massage chairs and the like. The staff is also friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is clean and professional, especially after the renovation they had.

My home PF is brand new so its unfair for me to compare the two. However this location is very clean and the staff is friendly! Great gym in a convenient location, and as is with all PF locations, very affordable!

AC didnt work on Sunday 08/27/2017. I told the manager Will about it today 08/28/2017. 5 months pregnant woman had to work out without AC and almost fainted. A little bit more customer appreciation at least in the way the manager talks to customers would be just what the place needs. Maybe taking some ownership of the business and some responsibility by management. I will be coming in this week to cancel in person.

Crooks. Youll almost have to hire a lawyer to cancel your membership. Planet Fitness will have your bank account info and a backup credit card, so they can collect and collect until you change bank accounts and cancel your credit card, and then youll have to go into litigation with your bank to contest the charges theyll keep making anyway. Every way you try to cancel wont work. Theyll tell you to send a written certified letter and then wait for them to call you, which they wont - so it will never happen. These robbers should be hung up by their nuts and bled out. Theyll steal hundreds of dollars and theres nothing you can do about it. Dont have anything to do with these criminal reprobates.

Best gym.... lots of apparatus, never waiting, very clean, very clean rest rooms/ locker rooms, all the equipment is like new, staf is always friendly, and motto is no judgement zone.

My favorite Gym experience. Sometimes it gets busy but Ive never had to wait for access to a treadmill, and the wait to use most machines has been minimal at most. The staff is courteous and greets me when I arrive and says goodbye when I leave. The place is clean and in good order.

The gym it self is great, clean equipment and wonderful massage beds.. but the staff is uneducated on the products, and equipment.They need more training and to not be vaping behind the counter.

The gym itself is fine as they have all the cardio and weight equipment I need. The staff are very nice and they really do want to help. They also keep the place clean. My issue is with the manager Chris. This guy is a real creep. I want to go to a gym to do my workout and slip into my headphones and reading material and escape for an hour or so. Well, the manager Chris would not leave me alone. He would follow me around and ask if I needed help, etc... All the while he has this fake smile painted on his face and I just felt like he was undressing me as he stood there. Boy what a jerk. I have talked about this with some of the other girls and they feel the same way. some of us were so uncomfortable we have taken our memberships down the road to a national gym at the Landing. It is a shame because PF is otherwise rather nice.
