Im not sure why a gym that somehow survived Covid would turn away new customers, but an employee hung up the phone after I asked if I could use the free pass I got off their site. Then, when I complained and said I still wanted to join, I got a non-apology: sorry you felt we were being rude. Feelings have nothing to do with terrible customer service. Q: Why would I choose to give money every month to a business that treats me like dirt before I even walk in the door? A: I wouldnt. Ill do free YouTube videos instead.

Has everything youll need. Plenty on freeweights and machines. A good selection of kettlebells and a heavy bag. The odds and ends really bring this location together. Its been clean and tidy everytime Ive gone. Solid gym without all of the unnecessary frills.

The owner is friendly and almost always available for questions in the gym. They have everything I wanted except a preacher bench, but I can do without. There are 2 squat stations and 3 squat machines, which is great, since those tend to be the least available. Steady flow of people without being crowded and plenty of bikes/treadmills. Everything is brand new as of right now which is 10-18-16. Go check it out, there is even cable TV on the bikes with internet access to entertain you during your workout.

You wont find a better manager than Eric. Gym is constantly being cleaned and equipment is always up to date.

I mean I came with my girlfriend and two days later I caught a sore throat (not Covid). Thinking back this gym is not as clean as I thought gyms would be considering the pandemic and all. I dont know but Ive been to the another Anytime when I lived in Woodinville, this one is loads behind in cleanliness and equipment too. No tissue? I tried finding the manager, Erik, I think. Didnt seem like a friendly gym. Dirty + I caught some germs. I wouldnt visit in this pandemic. Well if my girlfriend asks me too

Anytime Fitness in Renton, 98057, asked my little brother to leave today. He was dancing while on the stair master. Another patron approached my brother in a threatening manner in regards to the way he was training. Prior to demanding my brother leave, he was told that he may not dance while working out, that it is “gay” and that he is a man. Anytime Fitness, this is unacceptable. Erik is the name of the employee representing your corporation in this manner.

Anytime Fitness is truly something amazing. The gym has members of all ages, skill levels, and fitness goals but in every class it just comes down to a group of people working hard to be better than yesterday.

Compared to the communication with the other locations, this gym is not at par. I have been a member here for years not much to complain about. Since Covid19 there have been close to no updates. Also this Location froze accounts late and continued to bill, and said they will credit the account once the gym opens back up. For me thats not a problem, but for others who are financially struggling this is not good practice. I would Recommend going to the West Seattle location if you have that option, much better management.

Decent when it was open. Long story short, i emailed them to cancel my membership because they charged me even though it was closed. He emailed me back to tell me they cancelled it. Today i was charged after I WAS TOLD MY MEMBERSHIP WAS CANCELLED. so now its time to call my bank

I had an issue with my membership details, so I went in to discuss it with Erik. I expected it to be complicated difficult to fix and a general hassle all around. Erik immediately understood the problem and immediately had a fix for my situation. Its people like Erik that keep me renewing my membership!

Im an Anytime member from Colorado and stopped into this location this week while in the area on business. This is a nice sized gym with plenty of equipment options.

They keep piling more equipment and new members into this tiny gym. The way they lay out their equipment lately is odd. They covered half of the mirrors with a rack in the rec room for absolutely no reason. Why not put it on the empty back wall so folks do not lose out on the already limited mirror space in this gym? There is a new person working here every other week. At least most seem knowledgeable of policies and such. Almost impossible to be able to use the bathroom anytime of day. 3 bathrooms, but typically all in use. Bathrooms stay clean. However, they use entirely too much bleach and harsh chemicals in this location. The entire weight room reeks of harsh chemicals during the day. Ive had a few allergic reactions already due to the excess use of bleach. It is not safe for people to breathe bleach in general, but especially when breathing heavily while working out. Many other gyms use non-invasive chemicals. The actual owner is very nice. Though I do wish that he would instruct his employees to make better equipment placement decisions, as well as, consider doing away with some of the harsh chemicals. Itd also be nice if theyd stop signing up new members, because for weight lifters its hard to find a time during the day where you can actually have real access to equipment in order to get a good workout, because when there are just 4-5 people in this small area most useful equipment is already in use. Its nearly impossible to use either of the pulley machines. Same with T bar set-up and power racks unless you want to go at 2 a.m.

The equipment is modern- it’s small and the people seem nice. After visiting with a friend for a couple days however, I am shocked at how poorly kept the bathrooms are. There is a lingering smell of urine & constantly debris and tissues everywhere. It’s not clear if they use a janitorial service, but they should.

Small gym with so many people. gotta wait 30min to use bench or rack weight zone is about 300sqf with 20 people. Probably impact of pandemic.

Really nicely equipped gym with Rogue barbells, bumpers, and a deadlift platform. Perfect for anyone doing barbell training while traveling.

Great club! I have been going here for nearly a year. The owners name is Kent and he is very helpful, keeps the club clean, and maintains a high level of respect for his members. I recommend this club over all the others in the area and plan on being a member as long as I live nearby.

I have been a member for 2 years the staff are nice. Always clean and it is open 24 hours .. love it

Im here for WORK and this is my second week in this GYM- CLEAN (They even leave bottle with disinfectant and a rug to clean the equipment after working out)- SMALL but well equipped. You find anything you need to perform a good workout.- CHAalK BOARD they keep it update and they do the same with all the other boards they have- SPINNING BIKES are located in the fitness room which is the only downside because it is small but is not a real negative aspect.- PARKING is available right outside the gym.

The Manager refused to allow me to signup for 3 months of personal training even though I had been working out almost every day for 5 weeks!!! I was shocked! Bad customer service and bad business!

This gym has all of my favorite equipment, is very clean and the owner takes the time to chat with his patrons often. The ability to come at anytime if the day is also a huge plus. Highly recommend!

Really solid Anytime Fitness franchise gym if a bit on the small side. Ive never seen it too busy in the morning or afternoon but expect it to be packed at after works hours from 5pm on. Lots of equipment, 2 power racks, a dead lift platform, free weights, circuit machines and the standard cardio equipment. Right in the shopping district of Renton too for when you need to get a few other things done like groceries.

I love this place. Its not nearly as packed as LA Fitness. I can actually use the equipment without having to wait 20 mintues. The equipment is very clean so I dont know what the other reviewer is talking about. Good luck finding that LA Fitness. I rate 4 instead of 5 because I wish there was a locker wall to use a lock instead of the open cubies.

This gym is another fantastic example of why I have decided to stick with Anytime Fitness over other franchised gyms! This location is an incredibly clean and welcoming facility. Not only is the place completely equipped with the latest equipment (Life Fitness), but the owner, Kent, is a friendly, knowledgeable young entrepreneur! Like other Anytime Fitness locations, this gym has a perfect balance between being too large and too big--you wont feel like everybodys watching you but you also never feel completely alone. For anyone who enjoys videos or music while exercising, the WiFi here is speedy. Lastly, Ill say that the showers are some of the cleanest ones Ive ever seen and Im sure youll agree with me if you visit here. I would definitely recommend this Anytime Fitness to anyone in the area!

Quiet. Fast internet connection. I tend to go around 9 p.m. and there are not very many people in there. I just wish this place had a pool. Thats the only downside.

The General Manager keep knocking on the bathroom after 5 minutes... because i already stay to long . This is disrespectful

So clean! So new! I love the cardio machines with tvs in them. Plus not busy. There was only 3 other people there when I was there. Easy to get a treadmill.

Never sign up using the automatic payment because they don’t give you the cancellation receipt and keep charging you for a few more months until you dispute it. They only cancel your membership not your automatic payment .

I went to one in my home town and they were so kind and generous. I wish I could say the same here when I visited in Federal Way. The attendant was so condescending as if I was asking to join a Billionaire Yacht Club or something. I would love to join this one in Renton or Kent but my budget just wont allow me to. It is just too pricy for me. I am still using my current gym which I love for $10 a month but now it is too far for me and I need to find one close to my new place. I know one bad apple doesnt represent the whole basket. I will wait to see if the prices come down a little bit or if a 2-4 week coupon will become available. The gyms are great though.

Its a relatively new midsize gym, with great equipment, not very crowded most of the time, friendly staff members, great choice of video classes.

Im glad to say that Ive found my cozy little gym. This place is not an oversized super-gym, its not crowded and does not stink of b.o. which in my opinion is a good thing. Ive been coming here for about a month now pretty regularly and Ive yet to find myself waiting for a piece of equipment. The only waiting Ive had to do was for an open shower, but that was only once. Their weights are always on their rack and people seem to follow common courtesy of wiping equipment after themselves. Oh, one more thing their water fountain is refreshingly delicious! the temperature is juuuuust right, too.Ambiance: A+Cleanliness: A+ (and then some)Crowd-iness: APatron Interactions: A (some weird stares, here and there)

I would meet my trainer at this location twice a week its very clean and even though its a public gym it felt sort of private because it was not too busy and people were there to exercise
