Ryleigh and Virginia are providing super customer service. As we traveled cross country they made completion of documents online accessible. If we needed something they researched and got back to us. They were great.. we discovered we are no more than 10 minutes from anything. We are centrally located. Thank you. I hope the world class customer service continues through out my stay here.

Management is amazing. The community is very clean and often very unproblematic and quiet. If you have any issues and you take them up to the office, they care for you as not only a tenant but as a person. Especially Ryleigh, she is amazing with everyone! One of the sweetest and caring girls you will ever meet. I have been here for a little over a year and everything is great! Maintenance is very quick to resolve any problems in your unit as well. I have the best view off my patio, perfect location, easy freeway access. Love it here!

Great apartments for the price. My bf and I moved here in October and have been very pleased with our living situation. The staff is amazing, particularly Ryleigh, at helping me with maintenance requests, answering all my questions, and providing us with a better experience. I would recommend these apartments to anyone that was looking. The gym is 24 hours and has clean equipment. They are constantly trying to improve and it shows from their amenities to their staff.

Had a great experience living here for over 18 months now. The office staff is friendly, professional, and honest. Ryleigh in particular has been so much nicer. Maintenance request was taken care of quickly and efficiently. Rent, maintenance and laundry can be managed over app, so efficient. The only down side is lack of garage. I would love to have have garage so I can charge my Tesla in it, and this will probably be the only reason for me to leave.

First off, the five stars are for Ryleigh, who from the beginning has been nothing but incredible!!! As a property manager myself, and moving from Chicago to Reno, having never stepped foot into the state, I needed someone I felt was genuine, transparent, compassionate, caring, and understanding. Renting a unit site-unseen is a bit unnerving. Ive done it many times for others, but never for myself. However, I can say I am beyond impressed with not only the very first interaction, but the property itself. My apartment is beautiful and was perfect when I moved in!!!! Amazing staff and wonderful place to call home!! I signed a five month lease not knowing what to expect and may renew because its such a wonderful spot!!! Quiet and friendly neighbors!!! I love The Phoenix, Reno, and mountain life!!! Thank you Ryleigh for all you do!!! You ROCK!!!! 😁😃💖

Anytime we need work done, the crew is there faster than Flash, under the leadership of Victor! The Leasing Staff is like family to us. Kelly is always there with a smile and takes time to speak with me to just chat! Ryleigh has just been an exceptional person during my husbands illness and always so helpful. My only suggestion: bring back the white lights that were around the tree trunks! #lovephoreno

Overpriced for what they offer, homeless people constantly walking through at night. Where is security they are living between the freeway and the complex. Everytime I come at night I always feel unsafe and have never ever seen security. The pools are not even open yet and can’t use covid as an excuse because the casino pools are all open. You can get so much more for less anywhere else

Please read. The worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The whole complex is super loud all hours of the day and night! and has homeless people traveling thru it daily. The units are small and low class and if you like hot showers good luck with their mini hot water heaters in the units lol. Also staff is not friendly in the office and I see the maintenance kids smoking THC Vape pens near my complex and not ever doing their jobs. They also had google delete my first review sharing the truth. Hopefully some people can see this before moving in.

Its close to many things and has easy access to bus lines. On top of all that, the maintenance crew shows up within the day if you have any problems, and they operate so fast its like they just poofed in and out. (Thanks Victor and Jesse! We really like the location. So close to everything/anything. We opted for a renovated apartment and rented sight unseen (moved across country). We were pleasantly surprised when we visited and signed the lease. The closets are big. The staff were really helpful and nice throughout the process. They’re even nicer in person. We are really happy here for the most part. The downside for us is no garage for our motorcycles. We needed maintenance (turn up the hot water) and they were quick to respond. We have already recommended the complex to others. We’re so thankful they accept our (2) large dogs too. We’re here short term as well and happy that our experience so far living in Reno has been positive, partly because of living here.

This was where my wife and I had our first apartment when we were married in 1983. I do not believe it was called The Phoenix. I think it was Kietzke Lane Apartments. We loved it there and eventually moved to Sparks. Had a great pool and indoor hot tub. We recently came back to Reno and visited the place and the Apartment still has the same apartment number. The place looks clean like it was before. It has become more ethnically diverse which is a good thing. I was shocked at the prices though. Price of progress I guess. Thank you,

Overall a terrible place to live. Would give 0 stars if I could. The entire complex is loud, with many of the residents shouting or revving their engines in the early hours of the morning. The apartments were renovated, which means they were poorly painted (paint all over the carpet) and made to look nicer than they were. When I originally moved in, one of the windows didnt even have a lock on it.The maintenance team and whoever they contract to work on their buildings are completely inept. They were installing new windows to all of the apartments, and they had to enter my apartment 4 times before they were correctly installed. Once to install them, once when I complained that there were cracks that let air in (in October mind you), once to inspect, and finally once when the inspection failed. When I moved out, I was told I cant have a storage pod in the parking lot for 12 hours, and that it had to fit in my covered parking. Said covered parking was shorter than other spaces (I measured). Not to mention the myriad of people parked illegally every day, which apparently isnt an issue.Terrible complex, terrible maintenance, terrible office. All for the great price of $1250 a month (dont let their $1100 fool you)! Please, save your money from this company, its all they want anyway.

I want to write an honest review of this place, but its really difficult to come up with a good rating because there are parts that I loved and parts I hated, and there is a big difference in the apartments from when I moved in December 2018 and when I left June 2020. Ill start with the changes overtime, and then Ill list the pros and cons. When I first moved in, the apartment was very difficult to live in. The windows and the sliding glass doors let in a lot of cold and bugs through gaps, but those have since been replaced in (I believe) all of the apartments, and I noticed after that there wasnt really a problem. The other MAJOR issue were many of the neighbors, they would play music at all hours of the night, have screaming fights, what sounded like block parties where music seemed to be playing from a truck or something (this is after midnight, mind you), and it was genuinely scary at times as I had witnessed a police officer chase and draw his pistol on a suspect right outside my apartment, and in a spat that I had walked by the male threatened the female with a pistol from his vehicle and then drove off when she started screaming. I started seeing the police come by a LOT, and then everything started to calm down, no more block parties at midnight, no more guns. So, if I was grading based off of my initial experience I would have to give fewer stars but they genuinely appear to be listening and fixed many problems, so Ill review based off my most recent experience.PROS:* The office staff are above reproach, we loved them and they remembered us, they are the very best part of these apartments.* The maintenance workers were very quick, efficient, and were nice to talk to. One time a worker stopped to give me a razor blade so I could finish scraping the stickers off of the window of a car I had just purchased.* Rent is decently priced, especially given the location and access to the freeway.* The front office, pool, and playground are well-kept and look really nice.* The gym is nice, although a little outdated when it comes to the treadmill and the stairclimber, and there wasnt a very wide selection of the heavier dumbbells as I recall, but it has all the basics you could want out of a gym, and 24/7 access is really nice. For your beginner or intermittent gym-goer it will be more than sufficient.* You are in walking distance to Scoopers, Dutch Bros, McDonalds, even Wal-Mart, so the location is awesome. We had the freeway right by us, so it might be a con for you, but for me the cars going by sound like the ocean at night so it was actually a plus.CONS:* The biggest one for me was the front door. You can see a gap around the bottom that lets light and air in, and when someone talks it sounds like they are in your living room. We would nearly jump out of our skins when someone would scream in the hallway outside of our door.* The parking is crazy. Super crazy. Some people had parking right outside their apartments, we had covered parking beyond some uncovered parking spots that are open to anyone. Because of this, often it was more convenient to park in the open spots. The problem is that a lot of people are in the same situation, so when everyone parks outside of their covered parking, when I would come home after a shift at the hospital at 11PM there would be no parking (my wife parked in our covered parking spot with the other car).* The bathroom light and fan were one switch for us, and the fan was loud enough that you couldnt hear anything from anyone talking to you only feet away. So you couldnt turn the light off and leave the fan on, nor could you go to the bathroom without that stupid fan starting up like a helicopter.* The apartments overall feel old.* I dont think youll get your deposit back. We lost our deposit and we were charged ~$70 more for cleaning fees. In all fairness, we had two kids and they did a number on the place, but I spent over a week cleaning the place at move-out, and Ive gotten my deposit back after leaving a place in worse conditions.

Staff are friendly, but this place is always going to price it per market. 1 bedroom currently $1172 per month, renewal offer of $1340 for 12 month, but they want a ridiculous $2600 a month for month to month. I was paying $790 a month in 2017. There is a lot of through traffic through the complex which is not gated, and shares shopping center drive. Have found garbage on my patio on more than one occasion. Good place but be prepared to pay sharp increases every lease renewal.

This place was on the top of our list to rent from, but unfortunately it didnt fall in the school zone we were wanting. Ryleigh was very accommodating with our numerous request to view the apartments, and kept me in the loop on the possible apartments that were coming available. She was very informative with the new renovations and what the complex is trying to achieve. The location is pretty impressive with the updates that are happening and where it is located within Reno. The housing market in Reno is ridiculous, but I felt the prices were on par with other properties throughout the city.

Great place to live. My husband and I moved from out of state to Reno and we were so happy to find this place. We were staying at an Airbnb while apartment hunting and the Phoenix Reno had an apartment available and worked with us quickly to get us moved in. The apartment did have several areas that you can tell were rushed and the handyman probably forgot to fix but overall nice apartment. If you want an upgraded style, they offer that too. The maintenance is very quick at fixing issues. The gym is open 24 hrs and theres a yoga room too. They have a small playground my son likes to go to in the complex. I dislike that the dog owners are allowed on the playground with their dogs because a lot of them dont pick up their dogs poop and we lost count how many times my toddler has touched and stepped in poop, myself included. The location is great! Theres a mall close by along with a number of town centers filled with restaurants, grocery stores etc. The leasing office staff is always friendly and this week they called it resident appreciation week and treated us to donuts, tacos, and other treats.

The location is perfect, walking distance to Walmart, grocery stores, coffee, and pretty much every restaurant imaginable. The complex is also very safe and well kept. The leasing staff were extremely helpful, professional, and kindly answered all of our millions of questions. The unit itself is super cozy, clean, and spacious. One parking spot is assigned to you, but there is never any issue finding parking in the many additional spaces provided. Also, the complex is very pet-friendly, which is a huge plus! We are extremely pleased with our decision to lease here.

The new management raised our cost of living between $150 and $200 and the only things weve gotten out of it are two new faucets that are terrible and a new balcony with see through sides, erasing our privacy. This used to be a nice place to live and now its trash. Its telling that the only positive review is one obviously written by the management that starts off by basically saying Yes the rent is going up but that means no more poor people so its Good, Actually.

Definitely the best apartment complex Ive ever lived in. Would renew my lease if I wasnt being transferred for work. Had a few issues with some major leaks due to a heavy winter and my car was broken into twice. However, the management team worked with me every step of the way and even gave me an Amazon gift card to replace some of the stolen items from my car. Its a real close location to much of what the Reno area has to offer. Plus no breed or weight restrictions is something very hard to come by these days. Id recommend the Phoenix to anyone and Im kinda sad to be leaving. Beautiful apartments, quiet, and I never met a neighbor I didnt like here.

Yes, the rents are going UP !This complex has for many years been full of riff-raff. Now with increased rents, we can get some more reasonable and responsible tenants and neighbors. This has also lessened the problem of other tenants and visitors parking in your assigned covered spot.NOT all the trees are being removed. There have been irrigation and foundation problems caused by root growth over the years. Obviously removing some trees is less expensive than eventual structural issues if left ignored. There are always imperfect communities and I have lived in many over the years as well as in other states. For the location, you cant beat it.If you have kids, be aware that there is a playground area and grass field to use. This is VERY important as if you want to stop the increases in rent, then children should play there rather than in the grassy courtyards. Lamp posts, shrubbery and windows suffer damage and that leads to increased rents as well as fines.Police activity has also lessened, so that is refreshing as well. You really cant put a price on safety and security. Overall, this is a good community for singles, retirees and young couples. You WILL need to verify income and provide proof of renters insurance.

Since we moved in weve had nothing but problems. The day we got the keys, our apartment had wet paint in the kitchen, they couldnt even clean up the carpet shavings from putting in new carpet, none of the windows were even cleaned, we didnt even hot water in our apartment for two days! There are random paint splatters in our apartment on the wall and even on the window. Weve only lived here since the beginning of September and the maintenance workers have been in hrre multiple times, no joke. Our garbage disposal has broke twice, the sink in the bathroom and the kitchen had a leak, our dishwasher didnt even work properly when we moved in and we had to get it replaced AFTER we realized it was leaking into our master bedroom closet and leaving a puddle that they didnt even care to clean up or check for mold (which Im sure is under the carpet in there.) Our shower head in the bathroom didnt work when we moved in and ended up falling off, we didnt even have lightbulbs in all the lights in the apartment when we moved in, they left metal poles and trash on our balcony and didnt even have it swept. Now, to top it all off, our heater hasnt worked properly and Ive had the maintenance workers come in here twice and they said thats all they can do... The heat doesnt go up past 71 at times and the only way we can get it to go past that is if we switch the AC power box on and off. They told us the technician would come and help us this past Monday and we didnt even get a phone call. I recommend finding a much better and well kept complex before ever resorting to this dump. Ive told the office all of these problems and they couldnt care less. Theres also no parking besides the one spot you get for one vehicle, so you have to park in the Olive Gardens parking lot. We are counting the days down for our year lease to be up so we can leave and live somewhere more convenient and worth paying our rent for.
