Well, here’s what 2,260+ dollars a month gets you… an infestation of bugs and spiders, inaccessible kitchen drawers when storage in the kitchen is limited as it is, washing machine put holes in my clothes, moved in with carpets stained & smelling of pet urine ( they had to come do them again which did not help) not to mention the poor job on cleaning that was done, rented during covid so everything was online & I couldn’t look at the place in person, they failed to mention I would be on the 3rd level… the lovely view of leaves & rain gutters full, not to mention the windows not being sealed enough to where all those lovely bugs come into the house. Rent increases every month due to “ utilities” vehicles siphoned of gas, door dings and damage to my vehicle all the time ( why I had to spend an extra 100 a month for a garage), reports of things stolen out of vehicles, any maintenance request plan on waiting a few weeks for a simple air filter replacement. It’s “ gated” but anyone can come in & you live right next to housing authority apartments where police are there several times a night due to the crime. Save your money.
I rented a 1-Bdrm apartment from Sept 2020 - July 2021 while waiting for my house to be built in South Reno. I first met with Tariq in the office. He was very welcoming and I felt good about the community from my first impression! The application process from very easy and efficient. My unit was in Bldg 15, very close to the lake. Me and dog Sofie enjoyed daily walks around the beautiful lake with all the Canadian Geese and other duck-like species. Potty breaks outside in the designated areas were very convenient. My unit was a newly remodeled. Very clean and in great shape. I loved the Washer/Dryer which worked well in the unit. The neighbors were all very pleasant to live around. For such a large complex, I never felt crowded. The South Meadows area was very accessible to shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. My move-out process was very efficient and I received my deposit back quickly. I would highly recommend The Vintage at South Meadows. Honorable mention to Tariq who was always friendly and easy to work with! Thank you.
Great place, clean and inviting. Rented because of DJ. I always felt taken care of by the staff. This place has an abundance of parking. Sometimes its a little walk, but you can always find something. Nice lake to walk around. Love that the mail room and Amazon lockers are inside so you dont have to juggle an umbrella while getting your mail.
Lived in Vintage for about 2 years and it was a good experience.Pros:1. Front office staff is super friendly2. Loved the events they organized. Drive away breakfast was the best one☺️3. Pool, gym, Starbucks coffee machine, mini theater wow4. A lake next to apartment complex- big wow5. Support staff is nice. Spanish speaking old guy - special kudos to him.6. Ample parking lots. I never had to search for a parking space.7. Trash pickup, 24 hours available locker for packages a big plusCons:1. Not a fully fenced complex.2. Due to the lake you get bugs and mosquitoes.3. Prices have gone up a lot.
Our experience here was great! We loved that the staff was so friendly and fast with all our questions. The dog park is also a huge plus as it has real grass and is a fairly decent size. Friendly neighbors all around.
I was provided an apartment here for a month by my employer and liked it enough to sign a lease for another year. The neighborhood is great and the grounds are very clean at The Vintage. Also, I would like to write a review regarding the help I received from Steven in the leasing office. Throughout the entire process he made himself super available to answer any of my questions and was extremely fast to respond. Applying was very easy and Steven made everything clear as to what I would need to pay and when. Thank you.
Lived here at this apartment complex for a year already. Sadly that I have to keep moving (bye The Vintage!)We have had such a great experience and time with literally everything. Especially the friendly staff Tariq, he made our move so seamless and easy. Boy, I really appreciate you Tariq and other staff from the Vintage. Thank you so much for taking care of us this whole time.My favorite highlights living in here:I love your rent prices.I love your little lake right next to it. “Cute”I love the tall ceiling/ new/ top floor apartment with a view.I love the upgrade interior & appliances.I love the trees right out of the balcony.I love the built in central AC / Heater.I love the birds making themselves home on the balcony.I love the Sprout right next to it.I really do appreciate it. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Keep up with the good work.Best,Heidy, Will & Jobe
I recently moved in to an apartment here from out of State. Tariq and the rest of the staff ensured a super easy and informed move in process. I cant say enough great things about the management and their willingness to answer my endless list of questions 😋. Well done and thank you!
I never write reviews but I had to take the time- since everything here has been absolutely perfect. Moved in 4 months ago- Coming back to Reno from the East Coast. This place is the best place i have ever lived. It’s top notch, one of if not the best apartment complexes that Reno has to offer. My leasing Agent was Tariq and he was friendly, relatable, answered all my questions & he is just the man! He has a great vibe & Customer service is perfect and they take care of you right away. 10/10
Quiet and well kept complex. Super friendly and helpful staff especially Steven and Tariq! They helped with the entire leasing and move in process! Dog friendly with dog park and large lake walking path.
Absolutely a wonderful place to live. Very quiet and well kept. Stuff is great, specially Tariq he’s the Best, knowledgeable, helpful and always happy to help with anything you need.
Had a great experience living here for 12 months. The office staff were friendly, professional, and honest. Maintenance request was taken care of quickly. Nice lake behind the apartment too. I had to break my lease 1 month early and they were able to work out a deal with me and I had no issues. Got my full deposit back as well! My only small complaint is that the sliding gates only worked for about 2 weeks during my time there.
My wife and I seriously considered selecting the Vintage as our home. We were able to visit the apartments with Tariq showing us around. Amazing place, gorgeous grounds, price competitive. In the end, we wanted to be closer to Carson City. A note of appreciation for Tariq - Extremely helpful, very engaged with us from the get go. He gave up his lunch hour to meet with us. He seemed to know every resident by name and they all seemed to really like him. Very impressive.
I spent more then 5 years here. Love it! Spacy and clean apartments. Great amenities that are well maintained, quite right for the number of occupants. I guess the best aspect of the Vintage is the management, office and the maintenance staff. Especially Chrissy, Ramon, Tariq, and Marvin.
We recently moved into this community and voiced some concerns that we had upon moving in. DJ, Tariq, Marvin, Delfino, and Chrissy, amongst the rest of the staff members here were all very accommodating, efficient, and understandable. They immediately took action and helped us get the issues resolved in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this community! :)
I lived here for 2 years and i would have lived here much longer if I didnt have to move back to Florida. I had a really nice 1 bedroom on the lake behind the property, it was so easy for me to get my morning walks in everyday. Never had a problem the few times I called Maintenance my problems got solved incredibly fast. Tariq was great to work with since the second I stepped into the office and it didnt stop there if he would see me in the parking lot he would stop and talk and ask me how things were going and I would see him talking to other people around the community he didnt just forget about you once you were living here, I definitely recommend this place and look for Tariq if you stop in i will always remember this place and remember his kindness.
A great place to call home! My girlfriend and I relocated to Reno after 30+ years in the Bay Area. DJ was extremely helpful in making our transition smooth and seamless. He was very knowledgeable of the local area and gave us a plethora of exciting venues to frequent while we settle into our new home. I highly recommend The Vintage to newcomers and lifelong residents of Reno.-Armand J
I moved in to The Vintage at South Meadows on 12/13/19 and so far Im loving every aspect of my apartment and this community. Im from out of state and looked at 12 different apartments before choosing to live here. As my first apartment in Nevada, I was nervous about making the right decision about where I chose to live. The Vintage at South Meadows and the surrounding area are everything I could hope for and more.I chose a Residence 2 Luxury 1 bedroom 1 bath floor plan on the third floor overlooking our pond. I also have a large garage with plenty of space to store a motorcycle and anything else I could imagine. The apartment is huge for a single person and I feel like I have all the space I could need and more. The vaulted ceilings in my unit make it feel open and theres great natural light. The full size washer and dryer, as well as the dishwasher, are an awesome upgrade for me since Ive never had either in previous apartments. They work excellent, are quiet and make life easy and cleaning simple. The granite counter tops and cabinets are beautiful and add a great touch to an already awesome space. My central heating is perfect and Im yet to have any issue keeping warm during the winter. Lastly, theres plenty of hot water and a great walk in closet to boot. Every day I walk around our pond, say hi to our neighbors and their dogs, and feel grateful that Im a part of this community.Thank you DJ and Tarek for helping me get settled in so easily and always being friendly and available for extra questions. Id highly recommend The Vintage at South Meadows for all the aspects mentioned above and many more.
The Vintage at South Meadows features some wonderful apartments, a friendly community, and a courteous, professional staff. Whether you want to take advantage of the numerous events the staff coordinates for its residents, relax by the pool, take a stroll around the lake, or play with your pup in the dog park, there is something here for every person. The staff has always been helpful, and respectful and if you are looking for the next place to call home, I would recommend stopping by the leasing office and getting a tour of the complex. Tariq and Chrissy have gone above and beyond on several occasions.
The vintage has been my first experience in a luxury apartment setting. I’m a father of 3 boys and so far I’ve had a very good and accommodating experience. All of the staff I do business with knows me by name and are always warm and welcoming. The community around me is quiet and peaceful, even when they are driving too fast in the parking lot. I live in a gorgeous 2/2 with vaulted ceilings, good paint, and great carpet. I did months of research and compared the rest of the luxury apartments in the Reno Sparks area’s and the Vintage hands-down has the biggest bang for your buck in a luxury setting as well as great management.
We had a great experience at The Vintage. We had a unique situation and needed a short-term lease, and the staff was very accommodating the whole way through - from our move-in to our move-out. We loved the amenities - gym, pool, nearby lake. It is in a great location near many restaurants and shopping, and quiet without being too far from downtown Reno or Sparks. We would stay here again!
We moved here in February, and we ❤️ it here! 1. The management is great!!! They attend to all our needs ASAP, and they act on it ASAP.2. Tariq, staff from the leasing office is our man and talks to us when we have concerns, but all other staff is equally amazing as him. They take care of you and look for you as a family.3. The maintenance is courteous and they act on it in a matter of minutes only (like we emailed them 11 am something and they were in our apartment by 11:45 am. That was record-breaking for us. Plus, they always fix our problems!4. The apartment is incredibly spacious for my family. We have 2 bedrooms both with a walk-in closet and 2 bathrooms. The ceiling is high, there are lots of windows, so expect natural morning sunlight daily.5. The leasing office/clubhouse is enormous and magnificent, and we can use the space for parties. Also, they have a movie room, gym, pool, Amazon locker (for packages), mailroom, coffee room (free Starbucks coffee and teas), grilling area, and lake (our favorite place).6. The garbage collection is well organized.7. The people living here are all amazing and friendly.8. extras: They even provide free luncheon in our community, to which we are grateful. The only thing that is quite challenging is the parking, first come first serve. Over-all we love it here!
Im traveling to Reno for work and will be staying for 3 months. I was in a bit of a scramble to find housing and DJ Wright proved to be incredibly helpful. A 3 month stay was just long enough to start thinking about a short-term lease and DJ helped me locate a way I could furnish the apartment and even helped me run through different scenarios to get the price lower. Ultimately, I ended up going another route, but DJ was very helpful and was a pleasure to work with.
These are beautiful apartments. I moved here from Hawaii, site unseen.Checking the reviews on the place of course. Courtney and Tarique were amazing helping me with getting everything in order to move across the ocean. Unfortunately, the hospital cancelled my contract and I was only here for a month. I love my apartment, it is super nice.
This place rocks! They have been so welcoming and helpful the entire time from when we applied until now, having lived there for a few months. The people in the office are super nice and professional, the amenities are fantastic, and my dogs love the dog park they built. I highly recommend anybody move in to The Vintage! Never felt more at home in an apartment.
Steven was very attentive and provided wonderful customer service.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. Tarek and Ramon especially, but everyone there has been great. The 3x2 floorplan is spacious and 2 of the bedrooms have walk in closets. Also, the complex is extremely dog friendly (no weight restrictions, just some breeds I think) and there is a dog park on site. I really enjoy living here.
The grounds have beautiful trees, a wonderful little lake with an abundant variety of birds and even a couple of beavers. The staff are terrific and always in a positive mood. The residents are friendly and courteous. Ramon is great and very professional. He is always helpful and knowledgeable and kind. The maintenace team are responsive demonstrating expertise and are prompt when called. I would highly recommend the Vintage to anyone looking for a quiet peaceful and serene setting where residents and staff are welcoming. It is a great community!!!
Lived here for a year while completing my last year of school. Really enjoyed living here as it is a nice complex with great amenities. Staff was always friendly and very helpful. Community manager is the best and always goes out of her way to help the residents. My only complaints are 1) how long it takes for the maintenance team to come complete your open tasks (multiple requests took 5+ days to be completed) and the quality of repair done (had to submit repeat requests to actually get something fixed right). 2) people would bring their kids with them into the gym and let them run around and play on the equipment while they walked on the treadmill.
The Vintage is a great place to live! We have only had minor issues with our apartment and when we did maintenance was there really quick to fix it. They are dog friendly and dont have a weight limit which is really nice to hear. The office staff really make this place stand out. They get to know you and do all they can to help/provide excellent service. Even if there was news I didnt want to hear they presented it very professionally and were respectful. The only down side is some of the parking spots are very close together and sometimes every single spot is taken. Other than that, Im sad to leave here, but there were newer places nearby with a better price.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The pond was beautiful, and great to walk around. Neighbors are excellent, and the front staff was very helpful any time I had an issue. Also loved the amenities.
The Vintage is the BEST apartments to rent in Reno. This place has it all. A great club house, awesome swimming pool & patio area with a gorgeous fire pit and beautiful gas grills to cook on while everyone enjoys the facility. The staff are more than great. Chrissy, Ramon, ALL of the Maintenance people are professional, friendly, accommodating and make you feel right at home. They even wave at you when you drive by and always have smiles to share. The apartment that we have is the BEST in my opinion. The space, fixtures, features, appliances are all top notch. High ceilings, ceiling fans, wood blinds, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, large bathtubs are all wonderful. The pond/lake that the property backs up to is wonderful. Great walking/running track, a close up view to mother nature without having to dive any place. What more could you ask for? The Vintage is where its at if you want a gorgeous place to live while being treated like family.
The community and the apartment are great, but the most impressive advantage of this place is the people at the rental office. They are always helpful and very polite. Great attitude. Great service. Tariq was always very professional. Thanks,
We needed a temporary lease while we were between 2 houses. I googled short-term lease pet-friendly and I got a list of 19 possibilities in Reno. I sent emails to all 19 places, and Vintage was the only one who gave me a personal reply (not an auto-generated one) as well as the only one to allow for a 1-month lease. After talking to Tariq and DJ, everything was settled within a few short days. What a relief! We probably wont be here long enough to take advantage of their beautiful amenities, but it is a lovely place to go home to every day. Their staff is super responsive to every question and request, and they are all so friendly and helpful. Thank you Vintage!
My husband and I had the pleasure of living at the Vintage for about 7 months in 2017. What a terrific place! We were moving from abroad and Ramon was a huge help with logistics and switching apartments as our initial choice was sight unseen. We had a beautiful sunny apartment on ground floor, we always felt safe (we would regularly see the security cars cruising the parking lots), it was quiet as couldnt hear neighbors upstairs. Loved watching the ducks, quails and other wildlife that would march past our windows. The pool and gym were perfect for us as we typically used in mornings/early afternoon so not busy. All the staff were accommodating and always helpful. Move out was super easy! Gonna miss this place! Thanks to all of you and miss my morning workouts and coffee! Ward and Linda
Beautiful clean and quite. Super efficient helpful friendly staff. Highly recommend
After living here a year I need to change my rating. To be blunt and to the point, our experience was so bad that we moved in the middle of a pandemic. Be very cautious of this place as it appears great however, management is fake, the property is in need of work, and maintenance is incredibly slow. Also, take the positive reviews with a grain of salt. We were harassed nonstop when we first moved in to leave a positive review and most of our neighbors had the same experience. In hindsight, I really wish I had waited.Bottom line on the Vintage, they are charging the same rent as the brand new, luxury complexes, use your money wisely and just go to one of the new places. There is nothing special about The Vintage to justify spending the same amount of money as you could for a brand new apartment.
We love it here. The staff, Chrissy, Ramon, Jessica, Art, and the rest of the service techs have all been so nice to us. They have addressed our concerns in a timely manner and with professionalism along with a kindness that is so refreshing. We came from a apartment in Sparks that was less than desirable and have been so happy to call The Vintage home! We have lived here for a year now and are very happy to be here.
My wife and I have been living here since we got married and couldnt be happier. The office staff even presented us with a wedding gift when we returned from our honeymoon and remembered our anniversary a year later! Were always recognized by name and the entire staff is incredibly caring. From humorous conversations with the prompt maintenance team to just friendly hellos. The vintage has become our home.
I have been in vintage for quite a few months now. The community is great.. Lot of smiling faces.. Leasing staff is very very friendly.. Maintenance is very responsive. Has all amenities as well.. A great place to call home.
This is place is great! Love the apartment size, the look of the place. Very helpful staff here with what ever your needs are. This place is our first apartment together and we are happy here at, The Vintage at South Meadows!
The whole staff is amazing and very professional. I have lived at this residence for over a year and those cute maintenance guys Jay and Art are very knowledgeable ;), they can fix anything! Jessica, Will, Krissy, Ramon, and Christina have a great knack at creating a warm community environment. Aside from the service, the geographical location is very convenient and within close proximity to excellent schools.
We love it here!!!! We have been residents since April 2015. The office staff are so professional, yet so kind. The maintainence staff are quick to respond and take care of us residents so well. The apartments are bright, clean, and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful and kept up. It is usually quiet and a safe haven to call home...love the special events! The super bowl party was fabulous. Kristina and Holly and J. were welcoming and made it so fun...Thank you all for adding to our lives....you are appreciated.
I really enjoyed living here. Very kind and professional office staff, nice clean pool, and good location.
Loved living here. Leasing office is always happy to help and the maintenance staff is rad. Brandon kills it at his job and is always personable.
This is my third year at the Vintage apartments. I love living here and Im very impressed by the management and maintenance crew! Any problem I have had is resolved right away. I plan to live here for a couple more years until my son finishes Double Diamond.T Peterson
The apartments are very livable. The lake is a very nice nature place to walk. The pool is a good pool. The staff is very kind. They hold many yearly events in the lodge.
I have been a resident here since November 2013. The staff is friendly, professional, and quick to help. The neighborhood is quiet (of course you cant always choose your neighbors), and the facilities are kept up nicely. The price per month is in the higher price range, but its more than worth it.A word of caution: now and again, things get stolen from cars and locked storage units. The crime usually originates from the next door Diamond Creek neighbors. Its not a constant problem, but Id say it occurs a couple times a year. You cant beat the service, attractive buildings, the lake behind, the movie theater, the 24-hour gym, and the staff. Its simply head and shoulders above most other places to live.
It is more than 2 weeks now, I reported to leasing office guys twice then called maintenance service hotline regarding our garbage disposal is not working and they said as usual we respond to your request in a very short time.. I am still waiting and just called twice few minutes ago but their hotline is not reachable. I hate to wait a long time just a small problem to get fixed..
Helped a friend move in. Look like very nice places tho.
Its amazing here & beautiful. Its quite and you cant beat the state of the art amenities.
Absolutely beautiful apartment complex! Great pool, hot tub, BBQ/dining area, lake, wonderful amenities!
As the quality of these apartments declines and the neighboorhood continues to build better nicer apartments and condos they actually feel like they should raise the rent which is ridiculous, these used to be nice and have become borderline ghetto like their next door neighboors at diamond creek(every summer after the dirty people from diamond creek ruin their pool about halfway through the season, they can be seen sneaking in and hopping the fences into the vintage and contaimanating the water here as well, used to be a lovely pool but now about 2 months into the summer becomes absolutely disgusting). They should lower the rent if anything. Staff can be rude and judgemental towards me although ive lived here for 13 years. also this once beautiful pond is no longer private as an entire new complex sprouted and shares half the pond totally ruined the view. Lots of homeless that sleep under the bridges and hang out at the nearby stores. This neighboorhood is definitely not what it used to be, whole thing is falling apart not to mention they are building a super ghetto Marshalls next door.
Lived at the property for one year - was not bad.
Older...needs upgrade... Walkways and stairwells unkempt. Need to be cleaned. Parking terrible...narrow parking spots. Lush landscaping.
Ive lived here for the last four years, I cant seem to leave! Great staff, awesome amenities, and they are always upgrading such as valet trash, parcel pending and so much more!!
Really beautiful apartments, very spacious and friendly community.
The leasing agent Kristina is awesome! Ask for her if u go in.
Moved here and its like heaven! Best apt ever.
Nice floorplans friendly staff but a bit overpriced. There are newer options in the area at same price.
Great views and nice walking area! Must see!
Bet this place is awesome for trick or treating
Great place to live Brandi, is awesome
Amazing
