This is my go to oil change place. Without fail, theyve been courteous, professional and speedy. Prices are competitive and theres usually a coupon to save a few bucks. I especially appreciate that Im not relentlessly upsold services which has been the case at the competitors I used to frequent.And heres a shout out to Cody who is always personable and makes doing business there a pleasure. We have been getting our oil changed and transmission services here for the last 5 years. Everyone is always professional and efficient. While getting my oil changed today, I observed excellent teamwork. Everyone was busy but I saw staff help one another and take time to communicate with the customers. Shout out to Josh who has good customer service and a great sense of humor. And shout out to Ken looking out for my transmission!
Poor service. No professionalism. Its not a 10 minute oil change as advertised. I had to wait for more than an hour. When my time came, they forced me to upgrade from conventional oil to synthetic oil. When I refused, they told me to go to other service center. After waiting for an hour, I just had to return back.
This was definitely one of those times where the employee did such a good job, was so thorough and competent and authentic, that it warranted a good review so that other people that might be wondering who they can trust, can maybe read this and save themselves some time and just go here. And hopefully youll get Ken. I did have to wait for quite a while before my car could be serviced, but it was a Saturday, it was towards closing, so that was to be expected. I considered driving elsewhere while waiting, but I was noticing how much time and care the technician was taking on the car he was working on, and it was actually reassuring that my car would be in good hands. And it was. I never know where to go for that basic oil change, but I think I found my place.
10 minute oil change took an hour and twenty minutes. I was second one up when I arrived, was told 30 minutes and I would be done, didnt come close. Way to much chit chatting between employees. Purchased Groupon for oil change and was still charged 6.60 for shop supplies. Never going back here again.

These guys had quick and courteous service. I was a first time customer, but I will definitely go back if Im in the area again. On their website, they had a $20 off coupon for an oil change, which almost cut my bill in half. They offered coffee while I waited, and made sure to vacuum my car, clean my windows, and park my car outside when it was finished. I was there for a total of 25 min from drive up to drive away, but I felt satisfied with my quality of service. They got me in right away and had great customer service.
Good service but at $111.00 for an oil change is way too much for a Chevy Equinox - BIG price jump since my last visit. Will try another vendor next time.
For my prius, $90 if you have $10 coupon from website. they forgot to apply coupon. there wasnt any vacuuming. they forgot to reset my maintenance required warning. it was pretty quick. there was no paper invoice. I now dont know which oil they used. no air filters changed. feels kinda expensive with some mistakes.
10 minute oil change was more like 90+ minutes. The courtesy check turned expensive issues that were not actual issues...brakes and transmission. Disappointed. Caveat Emptor.
Tried 3 times to get oil changed 1st didnt have filter 2nd didnt have synthetic oil 3rd couldnt get out plug to empty my oil in 2012 BMW. The WORST!!

I just had my oil change at this Pennzoil location in Redmond this morning (2/11/2017). Before I went to this location for oil change, I looked up the reviews on Google and Yelp, and overall ratings were high and positive. So I thought it should be a reliable and trustworthy place for oil change.At the location, I chose the high mileage oil change because my car was over 100k in mileage. I was offered to do the full synthetic, but I kept my choice of high mileage. The oil change was done in reasonable time. In the waiting room, there was a monitor showing the technicians work from above, but not below. I could see oil and fluid were added, tire pressure was checked (although I saw only one tire was checked), and vacuum was done. When I paid for the service, I asked specifically whether the oil filter was something difficult to find, and the technician told me it was a common type. When I got home, I checked the engine oil, and it looked cleaner. However, when I checked the oil filter, to my surprise, it was not changed (see the photo attached with the date). The oil filter for my car could only be accessed from under the car, so I was not able to see if it was changed (there was no camera monitoring the work from under). The oil change service clearly stated that oil and oil filter would be changed + the 23 point service.I am very disappointed as the basic component that is supposed to be changed at every single oil change was not done. If this is how this location serves all its customers, I am not sure how it lives up the good ratings, unless most of the reviews were not authentic.

Went in for oil change and the MANAGER that came up was not wearing a mask. They also stopped working on the car and left with no explanation for 20 minutes. They came back and said they took out a part and were waiting for a new one from Kirkland. When we brought up we weren’t able to wait an hour, the manager got angry and was trying to place blame on us. Horrible, horrible service.

The employees that are hired here are dishonest and thieves. An item was taken out of my car that was placed on my mirror. I noticed it as I was driving off and even called to confront them but its pointless to even try to talk to a manager. They even try to replace it with my charger and hung it up to look like I wouldnt even notice. The new blond dude has no clue as my cashier, incompetent and needs to be replaced, learn some customer service when answering the phone. They lost my business!! Never go here or you will have things taken from you!

Super fast oil change service within 30 mins for sure. Honest. Never try to sell unnecessary services. Would ask customer for permission with price quote when extra service is found to be needed from their free inspection. They are so respectful to move on when I decline extra service. Often times I try to do those by myself for cheaper like changing air filter and light bulb. My car does run well with their oil change. Best oil change shop. I wouldnt keep on going back if I didnt like this shop. I have been going back for at least 5 times. I recommend this shop. It is good.
Sir, as you can see, your engine oil is brown (as they usually are when its time for an oil change) I would recommend a engine flush which is $70. I believe you need it since I change my oil regularly, I dont think Ill need it. ...yeah youll be alright without it.The belated honesty was appreciated
Fast, thorough and reasonably priced! In addition to a fast oil change, they did a full vehicle checkup and noticed my headlamp and a taillight were both out (I could tell the headlight was actually out) and were able to quick replace those bulbs for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this to anyone on the MS campus!
Come to this location if you enjoy hearing your car engine make a horrendous noise minutes after having your oil changed and being stranded on 520 because you have oil pouring out of your car!!

I have always been a customer to Pennzoil since as back as I remember. In illinois and now in Washington. Paying for the highest price for oil change I expected the 21-pts care mentioned in the website to be done consistently. Thought somedays problem occurs, some part like air pump may not work, I expected that the other part that are supposed to be done be done consistently. The vaccuming was not done or at least light but almost like not done. Windows supposed to be cleaned... I did not see it. This was my second time to come here and I think my first time I was treates correctly. Having to pay $120 and see a low quality of service, I think I will take my business somewhere else. It will be my first time to be away from Pennzoil, but I hope. Ill be good.Side notes: I normally translate my comments in french myself but this does not need to since I am really not satisfied, almost horrified by the quality of service I had today.Why 2 stars and not 1? Because I hope that my change oil, what I came here for, was done right.I will be moving on and try something else.To George: I finally got to read your message. Thought I could have gave your place another chance, I dont think I will. I literally felt gravel (sorry for exaggerating, small stones) in the back seat just by passing my hand on the mat. I dont think any vacuuming was done at all. The problem is since I can spot this, I wonder what else was not done that I can not spot and assumed was done.Also, I see that you are pointing out my discounted price (roughly $15 dollar less than the regular $120), I dont know if it was your intent but you seem like to justify the lower quality by the fact I had a discount. I never ever write reviews online, but am doing so today because of how bad of an experience I had at this place. I brought in my car for an oil change, and they made another, not-related problem with the window of the car much worse and refused to assume responsibility for helping me pay for the repair. Now Im $200 down and the owner, George, was an a-hole and refused to help out. Highly recommended that you do not go here.
Have been using this place for years, but I suppose some good things come to an end, especially when people get replaced, and the new ones are not competent. For starters, the service took 40 min, and a good half of that time the guy was texting on his smartphone - well, OK. Yet, today as a part of the oil service they did not vacuum the back row mats. When I confronted the guy, he said “we always vacuum only front row mats”, which of course is a lie, as I very well know having been a customer for years, not mentioning that the offer clearly says “vacuum car interior mats”. To make things worse, they were lying about inspecting engine and cabin air filters. For engine filter I have a label on its cover saying somewhat “forever filter, do not open”, and the cabin filter is virtually unreachable and cannot be inspected without a great deal of hard work. Yet, when I was surprised about filters having been inspected, the guy tried to convince me that my cabin filter is easily accessible behind the glove compartment door, while in fact in this car it is not even there at all, and once I asked how they managed to inspect the forever filter without opening it the guy claimed they inspected it through the “special opening”, while there is no such thing in existence. I am seriously considering to stop going to this place - having to vacuum the car myself after having paid for that to this service is quite unacceptable, and since they are lying about filters, I am not sure what other parts of the 21 point check they may be lying about too.
I usually change the oil in my car myself, but I was in a rush and used this place. Service at the shop is standard, the price was a little high, but overall seemed OK. Well, I recently changed the oil in my car, and found a number of issues. First there was oil all over the drain plug cover from some leak, and when I tried to unscrew the plug bolt, it was way over torqued. And then I discovered they didnt bother installing a new (required) crush washer. Leaky oil problem discovered; you dont just tighten the bolt as tight as you can get away with and hope it doesnt leak. Second there was a missing O ring on the oil filter canister; I didnt notice any leaks because of it, but still it wasnt there.This place basically does only oil changes. How can they fail so badly and neglected to put two pieces of necessary hardware back on the vehicle is beyond me. This is why you do things yourself, if you want it done right. Never trust an oil shop to do it for you.
I cant believe this place has such high ratings. I usually go to OCH, but I was close by and I was in a hurry, so I tried this place... plus, with 4.6 stars, I was excited about getting good service for once.10 Minute oil change was anything but. First, when I drove up I saw the two workers standing there just fooling around and laughing, and only after a minute or so of waiting, one of them acknowledged me with a finger, and about another 45 seconds later he finally walked over to my car. I told him I needed an oil change and also asked him to check the brakes (theres a big sign that says Brake Service). With some hesitation, he said, I think we could do that.After almost 30 min (not 10), the guys come into the waiting room chuckling and talking about random things, and after a while one of them finally says OK youre all set. Thatll be $**. No explanation of the work done. No recommendations on their inspection. I said thats more than your quote. He replied that they were charging me extra to remove the skid plate. I said that no one told me about this extra fee, and I never had to pay this anywhere else. The guy just shrugged, and the other guy gave in and told him not to charge it. In addition, they didnt vacuum the interior, as listed in their quote; who knows what else in their 23 Point Service was missed?The lack of professionalism was just astounding. I dont blame them personally and wont name the guys, because this is really the result of poor training by management. You should always acknowledge your customers immediately (and not just with a finger), and always display a sense of urgency when providing service. You should never horse around with coworkers in the presence of a customer. This is just basic customer service, not brain surgery.Oh, and of course, there were no comments about the brakes. Did they even check? Problem is still there.Needless to say, Im going back to OCH.Addendum: two days later, we noticed something hanging from under the car... the skid plate was not installed correctly and was hanging by one screw. I put it back on and returned to the shop to make sure it was done right. The manager (who wasnt there the previous day) got an earful from me and was very apologetic, but in the end, no real resolution to all their issues.
I came to this shop for an oil change 2 weeks ago the technicians there did an awesome job with their service they changed my oil, checked my fluids, and even vacuumed out my car their 21 point service inspection really helped me out. They even gave me recommendations on what i should do to keep my car in better condition. I usually like to take good care of my car so i had them reccomend me the best quality oil and filters they had. im usually lazy to keep getting my oil changes done for a short amount of miles, and making appointments at other places, so i came to this shop for a quick oil change with no appointments necessary they did my car quick and did a outstanding job i went with their best oil for 6000 miles. My car is running so perfectly I feel like i am actually saving money by getting their best oil ultra platinum full synthetic which is almost the amount of cost for paying for two basic oil changes maybe even cheaper. Now i just have to come here once for 6000 miles and not twice every 3000 miles their coupons also helped get a good deal which helped me a lot. Great service i would definitely come back again highly recommended.
I came in a few days ago for a standard oil change, I used to work in an oil shop so I understand all the tricks these places typically try to pull. Needless to say I was in and out in a little over 10 minutes, which wasnt really a big deal because there were a few cars ahead of me. When I asked if they checked the tires and changed the oil filter they told me that it was so of course when I went home I lifted my car up and checked. It was changed and the oil was clean and brand new. Over all the service was great and in my experience I will definitely be coming back! Thank you Jake and Patrick for doing an incredible job! Highly recommend.

This WAS my go-to place for not just oil change, but all simple car repairs for about 10 years.I doubt I will go back.Every time I went, they would do less and less. The expert mechanics would leave, taking with them the know-how.This time, I called ahead with a list of things that had to be done. They gave me a good price on some items, but said they can no longer fix breaks, as that guy left a year ago, and a water pump would take too long to replace... Fair enough, right? Except, when I came in they refused to do ANY of the items they quoted, except for the most basic oil change, for which they charged $10-$15 more (after discount) than I was quoted by other places and at least $20 more than they charged me the last time...If you refuse to do the work and overcharge for what little you do, Im out 😕

As the saying goes you are only as good as your team, my experience has been similar some times i had awesome folks servicing the vehicle doing honest job and some times over smart folks who tried to trick me with some issues which never existed like wiring issue,etc.. I ve been their customer since 5 years so my over experience has been pretty good. The guy named Arron is pretty good guy..

Incredibly fast service and no line. It was nice to not be hassled for upgrades and extra services but it felt rushed and impersonal. No summary of their multi - point check so Im not even sure what my other fluids are at. Get what you pay for?

Used to love going here because they didnt try to upsell or rip me off. Always paid under $100 for synthetic oil change. Went yesterday and they charged me $120 which was after a $15 discount, and they tried to tell me my engine needed a flush (did my 60k maintenance half a year ago). Needless to say, Im not returning.

The owner is considerate of your wallet; its clear hes not out to scam you. This place has a variety of oils to choose from; unfortunately, they dont check brakes, rotate tires, etc.
Took my 03 Audi TT with 58k miles in for an oil change back in 1/2017. Noticed fresh oil spots on driveway and brought the car back to them late 2/2017. Found out they have stripped the oil plug and the lower oil pan was also stripped. Owner, George will not take ANY responsibilities and said it was an old car and someone else could have stripped it. (But I didnt noticed oil spot on my driveway prior). I was not notified nor was it in their system that my plug was previously stripped when I first brought it in back in 1/2017.A very reputable Audi / VW shop (Redmond Werkshop) in Redmond said the plug / oil pan could be stripped only one time because of the aluminum oil pan. The technician who worked on my car also no longer with Pennzoil in Redmond....hmmmm, I wonder why.A $70 oil change resulted in $550 oil pan repair and owner, George denied everything. Now I have filed a complain to BBB (Better Business Bureau), hoping this will be resolved and will update my review here when / if I have an update.3/27/17- After few back and forth on BBB, owner still denies any wrong doing! Use your judgments before taking your vehicle to this place.
Be sure to tell them what oil you want. If you just tell them you want a oil change, they wont ask you and just use the most expensive one.

They charge more for remove and install skin plate, had own oil I felt unsafe cause they didn’t use it I saw that he was put it to trash, when I look around he closed the door I guess they changed my oil never trust to them I paid $58 for nothing I’m not going there any more !
So disappointing this place is . Back in September, I had my oil changed . A couple days later I checked my oil and The dipstick was basically dry . I found out that they had failed to tighten the oil filter all the way . My car could have died tragically . Anyways, 2 weeks ago I figured, hey Ill give them another try . So I had a tranny flush and all was seeming to go well until I checked the tranny oil level a couple hours later . The guys at penzoil put so much oil in the tranny that it was like all the way up the stick, at least 6 inches past the full marking . I took the car back and the guy that happened to be the one who helped with the flush and he was very unapologetic . He basically drained some oil out and said here you go .
I literally just went to get my oil changed at 8:00 AM today. The guy came up to my window and said we wont be open until an hour from now because some guy was caught in traffic. Totally unprofessional and I cant believe theyre going to lose an hour worth of business since they re supposed to be open at 8am.
UPDATE:The owner (George) contacted me and assured the practice I complained about was not intended and will be corrected, also credited 50% of the cost. Overall I am fully satisfied with how the business handles customers feedback - it is not so common lately for businesses around here.ORIGINAL REVIEW:These guys do their job well, but they dont do it completely. For example, the oil change service includes vacuum-cleaning mats, but they silently skip vacuuming the rear mats, without telling that to customers. When a customer discovers that rear mats are still dirty, it is already too late - the customer has to go through additional hassle of visiting a gas station to vacuum the rear mats, even though vacuuming was paid for, as it is included in the oil change. This happens regularly. When I spoke to the representative he indicated this was in fact intentional - he indicated that they skip rear mats on Saturdays when they are short on staff, and on any day when there are too many cars to serve (usually my car is the only one on site). Last time they skipped it even though I explicitly asked to vacuum rear mats - essentially it does not matter what the customer asks, they do what they decide anyway, without even telling to the customer. If they skip vacuuming at will, I dont know what other included services they may be skipping.
