Bobs auto service was the best auto service ever. I trusted them they did great work on my car. They are my go to auto shop in town. Ive been to some places that you could just tell they were ripping you off but not here. They had very trustable vibes.

On vacation: Our car was making a sound that only stopped when we hit the brakes, I looked up the nearest place and that led us to Bob’s... the mechanic told us he was backed up for the whole day but ran out to our car and assessed, listened as my husband drove slowly, quickly determining front driver wheel’s nuts were loose!!! Grateful for a quick fix, that we are all safe, that he made a moment for us, and was so friendly even as we interrupted a busy day!

Bobs works on all our vehicles. Weve had GMCs, Hondas, a Mazda, a Pontiac, a Kia, and a Hummer in for service, and we are always super happy and satisfied with all work done. Great shop, no BS, highly recommend.

I found them to be knowledgeable and friendly. All repairs were professionally completed as agreed. It is refreshing to go there and have repairs done right and at reasonable pricing. Stopped into Bobs Auto travelling from Minnesota to Montana! My brake lights came on and I didnt want to keep driving further without getting them looked at. Caleb took a look at my brakes, ran the codes for the light and determined there wasnt a problem. He could have run the gamut and tried to charge me for a bunch of things I didnt need, but knew I was in a hurry and took care of me!If Im ever stuck in Rapid City again Ill definitely be coming back to Bobs.

My wife and I have enjoyed taking our vehicles to Bobs Auto Service for close to 20 years. They have integrity and a willingness to do their best. They are courteous, friendly, and helpful. They have proven themselves to be fair and to get the job done right. We certainly recommend this repair shop when someone needs mechanical work done on a their vehicles.

I love this place. I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 that needs work and they are willing to help me out and get it on tge road without breaking the bank. I dont make much money and Dodge is expensive but with their help Im going to be driving a dream vehicle soon.

Most honest and quality service in town. I had 3 or 4 things wrong with my truck and these guys checked and let me know it was covered under powertrain warranty. Ended up getting it fixed for free through dealer. Ive been to them 2 or 3 times and was always satisfied with the speed, quality, and price. Highly recommended.

The most professional crew of mechanics I ever encountered, they went out of their way to get me back on the road, With the assistance of inland truck parts they rebuilt the drive shaft in my pick up the same day, they knew I was stranded and did an impeccable job, God bless them, I wish I had this kind of service back home.

Bobs auto is the only place to go! Very friendly and fast. But most importantly their honest! They’ve always been quick to find a solution to our problems. They also call me and tell me a price and explain what cost what to that. I’m never left unsure of what’s going on or how much it will cost! This is the best place in Rapid City hands down. Took PT Cruiser in to check Injector status, no One Cylinder was fouling out. The mechanic found the wiring harness was bad. I drive a 2013 Ford Escape that recently had repairs done at McKie Ford. When I got my vehicle back from Ford I had noticed some terrible idling issues that had never happened prior to the repairs (vehicle sounded like it was at death’s door while idle). After a couple trips back to Ford and a “we checked everything, your vehicle is fine” even though it sounded worse after each visit, I was referred to Bruce at Bob’s Auto.Bruce listened to my concerns and him and the staff found the problem right away. My vehicle now idles and runs like it’s supposed to. Bruce and the staff are what you are supposed to get when you take your vehicle to a mechanic, integrity.

Took my 2003 Chevrolet 1400hd to Bobs Auto to have exhaust headers fixed. The back two bolts on each side were broken. This is an occurrence on 6.0 engines in Chevrolets. As well as the back bolts, the headers were cracked also. The truck now sounds like a new truck. My wife is happy, we can hear each other talk. Bobs Auto take care of my vehicles, saves me a lot of time and headaches. Thank you Bobs Auto for taking excellent care of our vehicles.
