We are German couple who were on their way to Yellowstone National Park and got a brake problem in Rapid City.So we decided to stay here overnight and the next morning go to the Berts brake service.He helped us immediately and we were able to continue after a good hour, thank you very much for that!

Great service! Repaired front brake pads and rotors on time and was able to see the wear on the old ones.They even gave a recommended amount of miles to change the rear brakes. Scheduled my next visit to do so and they also have the parts if needed.

I desperately needed my car fixed. I don’t know much about cars but he showed me so I could understand more. His pricing was fair and he didn’t cheat me out of anything! My car was shaking and breaks were screeching when I got there and when I left my car was running smoothly .. I recommend these guys 100%! 🙃

I forgot the guys name but he was great. I had parts to replace my rotors and brake pads and the dude took less than an hour, very affordable and he was very nice also gave us further info for other repairs we need, A++++ all around. Also his doggy Fred is awesome

Great family owned small business to support and he never cheats you out and is very honest about amounts and such! Also he has the cutest corgi puppy to play with while waiting for repairs!

This is the best repair shop in town, HANDS DOWN! I had my front and rear pads and rotors done and Caleb did an excellent job! He even diagnosed my squeak I kept hearing as my rear shocks. If you are in need of any auto repair then this is the place to go!

We were traveling through South Dakota when our brakes started grinding. We called Bert’s and got ahold of Caleb who was more than willing to stay a bit late to make sure our brakes were ok to move on. Couldn’t have asked for better service. We were on vacation and stopped for gas in Rapid City. After fueling up our vehicle refused to start. After failing to troubleshoot it ourselves, one of the gas station attendants recommended Bert’s Brakes and Automotive as it was close by. After getting towed to their shop, they got started on our vehicle immediately. The issue was rather hard to find, it turned out that wires had been routed incorrectly and melted, shorting out a circuit. The technicians even stayed after hours to complete the repair and get us back on the road the same day. The whole process was very professional, and the price was less than I expected too. If I lived in Rapid City, I’d definitely give these guys more business. They did a fantastic job.
