Roy has always been willing to go above and beyond in being helpful all things car and many other things...truly unbelievable with regards to kindness. Car repair was done recently after a meeting with a deer at the grill...neither fared very well. In the end the car turned out fantastic!

They did a great job! We had a deer hit the front drivers side and the repair looks like its new. Worked with us on the towing as well. I highly recommend Roys Westside!

Went to the body shop last week for a minor issue where I lost a screw so the panel under the car was “hanging” and dipping. Went in as a walk-in appointment, and the receptionist got a mechanic assigned to me very quickly. The mechanic listened to my problem carefully and went above and beyond to fix all problems in that general area of my car. Took less than 30 minutes total. In the end, they didn’t even charge me since they said the repair was very minor!Very honest, and very friendly. Can’t speak about the prices since they didn’t even charge me. If I ever have a major repair, I know where I am going. Highly recommended!

We just got our vehicle back from an auto body shop in our hometown 800 miles give or take from Roy’s west side auto body. Long story short, after having work done at Roy’s and work done elsewhere, we recognize the quality work we had from Roy’s shop. Now we know that nice guy’s really are the best!

Roy’s shop was fantastic. We were traveling from California and hit a deer near Mt Rushmore. We either needed to get our car repaired or at least make sure it was safe to drive with all the damage. Joy was so professional at getting an estimator to look at our car and Brian went the extra mile to zip tie the loose pieces and make it safer. On top of that, since they couldn’t actually do the repair, Brian worked up an estimate for us so we could forward it to a shop in advance of our arrival in Ohio to speed up the process. We can’t say enough about how well we were taken care of, but in addition, the facility was immaculate.

I cannot recommend this body shop enough. I was traveling from 1200 miles away and I ran over a campfire pit which pulled my bumper off. I called Roy’s the next morning and they got me in on the same day. The technician did an excellent job & all the staff were extremely friendly. If you have any body shop issues, I recommend Roy’s!

Roy’s Westside Auto Body did a wonderful job fixing my Audi. I was rear ended and they fixed my car better than I could have imagined. Roy and his crew are the most professional, organized operation in town. They fix your car right and stand behind their work 100%. I was given a completion date the last two times I took my vehicle there and they completed it before that date both times. The shop might be booked out a ways but good shops are, there is a reason why Roys Auto Body is always busy, its because they are the best in town.

I took my charger to Roy’s to have the rear bumper painted and replaced. I had mentioned my concern about the rust on one of the doors so when I got my car back they had painted over the rust at no extra charge. They even vacuumed the floors and backseat. The bumper looks amazing and I’m so pleased with the neatness of their work. They went above and beyond and I will definitely be going back for any body work I have done in the future.

I hit a deer and my car was not drivable. Roy got me right in and made repairs so I could drive the car until they could schedule it for a complete fix. The car was fixed in a timely manner and was as good as new when I got it back. The car was spotless and even though I hadnt asked them to they cleaned / restored my plastic headlight lens and got rid of all the haze it had built up... They are friendly and professional. I highly recommend Roys Auto Body!

Got caught in a brutal hail storm 2.5 weeks ago heading west for vacation, windshield and door window were smashed out of the truck and Brian and Joy took care of us, made sure my truck was in the shop and got the glass cleaned up and ordered what they needed asap, insurance took care of it all but these guys went above and beyond when we were 900 miles from home. Definitely use them first in the Sturgis/Rapid city area

Fast, friendly, awesomeness! It’s for real at Roy’s. My 2014 Jeep Cherokee had the driver’s side window smashed and my purse stolen. They were very understanding; replaced the window within 2 days, provided me a loaner car while it was being installed, and worked with me on the payment. I recommend these good neighbors to anyone! I cant say enough good things about Roys auto body. This is a business that genuinely wants to help people and hires employees that genuinely want to do the same. The rates they quote are very reasonable, provide loaner cars and are on time when they provide a completion date estimateI got in an accident right outside their facility. Roy and one of his employees Chris came out and lended me tools to get my vehicle back on the road. They helped clean up the accident scene and provided a loaner vehicle immediately for the other party to help them return to the activities they were doing that day.

Can not say enough good here above and beyond -- Went back with a broken door handle after 1.5+ years from original install, and they completely rebuilt it 10X better than manufacturer, painted it, etc., but they would not accept payment from me because I am a Vietnam Veteran (I estimate at $200+). I found them to be knowledgeable and friendly. All repairs were professionally and expertly completed. It is refreshing to go there and have repairs done right and at reasonable pricing with like a permanent guarantee. We will think of them first when we need further repairs or maintenance and will not hesitate to highly recommend them to all our friends, neighbors and relatives!

The hailstorms in Rapid City this year were awful. I was almost certain my vehicle was hailed out with the amount of damage that had been done to it. Awesome service!! I stopped by for an estimate after a hit & run that left a visible amount of paint transfer and scratches. Roy buffed out the scratches and paint without charging me and made my car look as good as new again! Very friendly and helpful staff!

On vacation and ran into baseball sized hail 8 hours from home. Tried repair shops in a half dozen cities without luck. Contacted Roy’s body shop on a Friday after hours when a deer in Custer, SD hit my truck and shattered my windshield. Roy, the owner was leaving his shop when the phone rang and he answered the phone...he went above and beyond finding a windshield for my truck and having a crew come back in at 9:00pm to change out my trucks windshield. Had a front-end damage on my 2011 Nissan Altima repaired timely (in 4 days) due to the dedication of their staff who, I learned, work even at night! During the process, I received texts updating me on the status of repairs and also got a personal tour of the shop. I received quality repairs and got a clean vehicle back all for an affordable price; they even did a lot of extra work for free. Overall, my experience at Roys Auto Body was awesome and Id recommend them for your auto body repairs.

I was in a single vehicle accident on February 13th. I am in Rapid City for work, so I am unfamiliar with the body shops around town. I visited 6 different shops to get a feel for which one would do the best work and provide exceptional customer service. Roys Westside Auto Body was the 6th and last shop I visited. Roy, the shop owner, gave me a personal tour of the shop and his staff were very friendly. I got my vehicle back sooner than expected in 17 days, which included two winter storms that delayed shipping on parts. Id recommend this shop to anyone who wants the job to be done right and who values exceptional customer service. Roy and his staff lived up to my expectations!

Had significant damage on my 2017 GMC truck repaired. Very efficient process. They handle everything with insurance and seemed to make the process a breeze. The front office folks smile and make you feel welcome. They actually seem to like their job—always very refreshing and is one of main areas I focus on when rating a business.I was given frequent unsolicited updates on the status of repairs. I thought it would take a month or more but was actually done in 2 weeks. Considering the damage, this was incredible. I was very impressed with the pace of the work.I inspected the work after I got my truck back and I am absolutely amazed. It’s literally flawless. I at least expected the interior of the truck to show some evidence that something was left undone or at least dirty. This was not so!! It was clean, and the repairs are seriously impressive. I don’t even want to know what it took to accomplish this job. It is truly jaw-dropping.They even went as far as to remove some dried-on black spray paint from an unrelated incident when a spray paint can exploded under my tire in my garage months ago. I was not expecting that. This was beyond the scope of the job. This is how a company builds loyalty. I’m not surprised that Roy’s Westside Autobody has a great local reputation. I will sing their praises to anyone in need of an excellent body shop and will appreciate honest professionalism.They were honest every step of the way. They were kind. They do fantastic work. They get things done in timely fashion. They are extremely detail oriented. They communicate well with their customers. They went the extra mile and a half for me. I’m extremely grateful. I am very unhappy with Roys. I have been inconvenienced again now for the last and final time. It all started when initially 2 days in I had to pick my vehicle back up still hailed out while I waited on a part, that they should have already had. The part finally came in. My vehicle was finally fixed but now the windshield was set wrong. I took my vehicle back in to get this fixed and taken care of. I was told that it would take 3 hrs - ended up taking almost 8 hrs. I was told Id receive a phone call when it was done and never did. My wife and I have to babysit this place and continuously call for answers and updates. Now I find out that I have to go back yet again as they broke the part around my rearview mirror while resetting the windshield. This place needs a major overhaul and needs to find some more reputable employees in my personal opinion. I will never go back to this place moving forward...1 star.

This is the worst service Ive ever received. My car has been in this shop for 2 months, the receptionist Linda does not return calls as she promises. I call often to get an update, and not once have I or my husband received a phone call from Linda about an update on anything, we will even wait a few days and nothing. My car had to be tranfered for additional repairs and was told I would receive a call when my car left rapid. I never received a call. I never received a call when my car made it to Sioux falls for additional repairs. Linda claims she is calling the repair shop in sioux falls and has not gotten a hold of them in the entire week it has been there. I called the repair shop in Sioux falls myself a day after Linda told me she would keep trying and call me back. I was able to get ahold of them, Linda is still claiming she has not gotten a hold of anyone there. I find it hard to believe Linda is even calling and find it excruciatingly frustrating when I am promised a phone call and never receive one. It has been 2 months without a car. I am very disappointed in the service Ive received this far as my insurance spoke highly of Roys as well as my peers. Ive never written a bad review on anyone, and I am a patient person. In the first month I was understanding that parts had to be ordered elsewhere and weather conditions delayed orders. I would still be understanding now if I had ever gotten an update about anything on my car in the entirety of the 2 months my car has been in this shop, or recieved a call when I am promised one. 10/10 would NOT recommend Roys, and will ensure if I encounter any more car trouble to go to a different auto shop in the future.-update---After our concern reached the attention of Roys they rose above and heard us. They consistently updated us on what was going on with my car and Roy even went to Sioux falls to bring my car back himself. Roy himself apologized for the length of time it took to fix my car properly as well as for the lack of communication which meant a lot. I appreciate the thoroughness of the work they did to bring my car up and running again, and looking good as new. They also provided me a loaner car which solved a lot of issues by itself. Though my husband and I expressed our frustrations Roy and his staff remained polite and they did everything they were able to to solve any issues and welcomed us back should we have any problems in the future. In the end I am pleased with the service I received and greatly appreciate their willingness to go above and beyond.

Today I took my car to Roys because some jerk face hit my parked car & didnt bother leaving any information. I wanted a quote on getting her shined back up. Within 20 minutes they brought it back out to me... The paint that the other car left on mine was completely gone. When I asked how much I owed them, they said nothing. I know who Ill be going to for all future work. Great service. Excellent & very nice owners. All around, I can say I had a great experience & can not express enough how grateful I am for them.

Recently had my car estimated here and the lady who took our info was so nice, REALLY NICE. she even cared if we were okay. The estimate was reasonably priced but i didnt get it done because it was a total loss.

Hit a deer in my Tacoma. They were booked, but they got me in because my truck really wasnt safe to drive. Told me it would take 10 days. They had it done in 9. They kept me updated as the progress went on. Couple days after I picked the truck up, it wouldnt start. Roy drove all the way to my house (on a Sunday) to help me figure it out.Only issue I had, which isnt really an issue, was somehow my window track in my drivers window got bent and wouldnt roll down all the way. I took the truck back in, they looked at it and immediately ordered the part, no cost to me. Just waiting on the window track to arrive and theyll call me and have me take the truck down to put it in.

Roy and his staff are wonderful; very warm and welcoming. The work they do is done very well and yet reasonably priced. They are honest and do what they promise. You wont be sorry if you take your vehicle to Roy. His shop is the only place we take our vehicles to.

(Not in that serial killer kind of way). But like they care about their job, their performance, and how they take care of people.You will be blessed to bring your business here.

Customer service and quality is beyond outstanding. I cannot believe that an auto repair shop would provide the exceptional service that Roys provided to me. I hit a deer near Rapid which is an eight hour drive from home. The radiator broke and the car was no longer drivable. I had no choice but to return home the following night. Roy jumped through hoops in multiple ways that auto repair shops never offer to do in order to repair my car so I was able to drive it home the following day. I cannot afford a tow hundreds of miles so I would otherwise have had to buy a bus ticket or rental car which would have required time or money that I just dont have. On top of this, the bill was reasonable and it was very clear that all the information about the broken parts, costs, and options to fix were completely honest and accurate. Roy went well above and beyond to provide information and offer options that were in my best interest from a time and cost standpoint regardless of how much he would make off the repair. This is rare. Most shops would have done the opposite and price gouged me knowing the urgency of my situation. Roys is the most genuine and honest repair shop I have ever visited - I have driven close to a million miles and aside from personal mechanic friends I think this is the first time I have had car work done with no concern whatsoever that the information provided might not be aligned with my best interests. Most shops will for instance say more work needs to be done than actually is needed in order to get you to spend more money there. Roy actually did the opposite and offered ways of saving me money yet getting my car running next day. Keep in mind that I was in a unique situation where I had no choice but to get home next day - no repair shop has the resources to fix all customers cars next day and parts are frequently not available, so please dont expect your car to be done as quickly as mine was. Regardless, you will get top quality service here at a reasonable price with honest and accurate information about the repair. This is unparalleled in the world of auto repair shops. I cant recommend Roys enough.
