I have subscribed to Terminix for pest and termite control for approximately 44 years. The service is cost effective and well performed. My service tech is professional, knowledgeable, courteous and a good communicator. Jason really takes the time to explain things in detail and spends a goodly amount of time examining the crawl space and perimeter of the dwelling.
We have used the services of Terminex for many years and are very pleased with the professionalism, courtesy, and expertise that we consistently receive. We utilize them for ongoing bug and rodent treatment, sealing of our crawlspace, and termite protection.Kevin Willard, the technician who treats our home, is exceptional! He is always on time, does a thorough job, and is very knowledgeable. Kevin is just great! In addition, Jeff Davis (#1241), has performed multiple inspections at our home over the years and uncovered a few hidden problems that saved us from having to deal with bigger problems in the long-run. Jeff is always helpful, friendly, and has gone out of his way several times to pass along helpful insights.Both of these guys provide excellent service which is the main reason we continue to stay with Terminex!
I have had Terminix for over 18 years here in Apex and have been very happy with the service. I always get a call a few days in advance of their arrival and they always are polite, professional and on time. Good service!
The team that we did business with were quick to reply to my questions. The team that arrived to treat and replace the old and install the new vapor barrier as well as the dehumidifier were very pleasant, professional and answered my questions.The electrician that arrived equally was very professional, and answered my questions. Very positive experience all around.The installation was excellent.
I had terminix service started with $125 initial payment to set up an appointment later. The day of my appointment the guy treated outside and then also did inside. I was told that I would probably see the last of the earwigs laying around dead. I had my service done on 9/2/21 and this morning 9/11/21 I saw a living earwig and my floor. I will give it more time it’s only been about 9 days. I want them completely gone. Patiently waiting will update soon.
Terminix is the best, while other companies may offer some services, Terminix does it all. The fellows who actually do the inspection are friendly and efficient. I have been a Terminix customer since 1967 and will stay with them.
Bill is great he was determined to get the wasp next down as I am allergic to bees. The nest was the biggest I’ve seen he removed it easily even though it was on the deck above (20 feet). He showed me there was probably 20-30 bees plus some babies in a nest… long story short thank you for the service! Thanks bill!
They also treated for centipedes, and ants. The first time they came out they did the outside and inside. I call them back because I was still seeing worms in my home. So they came and treated the inside only. They came out for their monthly treatment the tech that came out only did the outside. Now I am paying to get my attic, crawl space, and the cracks, and crevices done in the interior of my home but not once did they go in those places. I am not happy with the service so far. I hope they will give me the service that Im paying for. P.S. I am getting more worms and roaches running scared in my home because I did not get the right treatment the last time they came out.
I cant say enough about the help with a crawlspace issue. I was concerned about the moisture and we were in process of selling our home so it had to be quick, and economical. Dan Hardy came to our rescue!!. He explained options and set up everything on our time frame, and he was as patient as could be when I didnt understand or needed information. We have closed now, but he even followed up with us and will check with the new buyers so that everything will go smoothly. I cant thank him enough for his excellent and professional service!! I’ve been a client for the past 4 and a half years (since I moved in). When I moved in I spent 10K on having the vapor barrier done, closing holes that would lead into having mice activity, changing insulation that didn’t look right and installing a dehumidifier. This job was fully done by Terminix.Since then, I’ve been on pest control, termite control, and on a contract making sure my crawlspace remains dry.Last yearly inspection I got a guy saying the dehumidifier was leaking because the hose wasn’t connected, and it needed to be changed and he was going to send a specialist (at no cost to me, since I am on a contract). This situation corresponds with the letter that says “July 1st”A week later you sent a guy who was supposed to take care of the dehumidifier, but instead he said that “the dehumidifier is leaking, we will need to send a specialist” (he was supposed to be the specialist).. but he told me I needed to get a couple of things done, since mice started eating the vapor barrier: It would cost 2500My question is.. how is that 2 different people that did the same job found different issues within a week? How come I must be in charge of fixing what mice did to the vapor barrier when I pay to have pest control?I was told I can’t expect not to have any activity if I only pay to have them every 3 months… but I PAY FOR IT MONTHLY..So stop threatening people saying that further damage could lead to expenses out of scope because I pay A LOT to get a job done.To be clear: the water that the letter mentions is the water that the dehumidifier was collecting but the hose unhooked.I hope this gets fixed, tried calling but the person on the phone just said “uh-huh… OK”My account # is 2221624

We have been using Terminix since 2014. The technicians are professional, respectful and on time. Steven Williford was here to do our quarterly maintenance, when I explained we have a new problem with very small ants in our kitchen. He immediately put the coverings on his shoes and wearing his covid mask, came into the kitchen and sprayed to resolve the issue.

Bad customer service. They say they are coming and do not show up. Make you you wait for hours to talk to somebody. Do not use this service
I had financed services with Terminix that covered spraying in and outside of the home and I was happy on the 1st visit. On the second service the tech stayed about 10 minutes and left. I reported that and then the next tech came out and he did a better job. Now they suppose to spray my yard for pest and insect up to .50 acre. To insure that it was done I had to watch to be make sure it was done. I don’t think I need to pay $895 a year to make sure Terminix techs do their job. Don’t get me wrong the techs are nice and professional.
Technician arrived on time and performed the exterior service. Technician also cleaned webs off of siding and corners in the front and rear exterior of home. I was only expecting that the technician would treat the front and rear exterior, which he did. However, I was not expecting that he would clean off webs from the siding and windows. I was very impressed and pleased.
Im quite pleased with the continuing service after the initial big full treatment nearly 3 years ago. No bugs inside, nor mice in crawl space, nor bats in attic. Your business has made living here more pleasant.
We had a service man name Kevin Elliott to come out and service our home for termites. Kevin was very knowledgeable, respectful, concerned, and he listen well. We have not seen any termites since he left. We would like for Kevin to service our home every time if at all possible. THANKS

I called on a weekend about wildlife in my crawl space . They called me back and had some one there to inspect by Monday . They found the issue and remediated it quickly . Their customer service was great .

Well first I was surprised to even see the Terminex guy ringing my doorbell because I had not set any appointments with them lately. The guy got his orders that said I made an appointment in which I didn’t or else I would have expected him. Luckily I was home. So I don’t know where or how Terminex took it upon themselves to make an appointment for me without consulting me first but oh well. I told the guy I did not make any appointments and did not get an email or call regarding an appointment. But I said well while you’re here go ahead and do the inside and outside I guess since I get spiders and all kinds of bugs come in from outside. He was nice, and professional. He did his job and made sure he didn’t miss any spots and then went on his way.
The service tech Rick was very courteous and professional. He came out to do a monthly treatment and also the annual termite inspection. It was thoughtful of him to let me know when he was done in the backyard, so I could let my dog out. We have been happy with Terminix and have had little to no bugs in our house.
I have had a contract with Terminex for many years. There have been many different service providers, but they are all professional and caring about with they do. I have quarterly spraying around the outside of my house, but when I have other problems (those pesky squirrels) they help me out.
As customers of Terminix for our routine pest service, we had them perform over 6K of work in our crawl space to include moisture vapor barrier installation, insulation and debris removal services, insulation installation and sealing of crawl space (or otherwise known as rodent exclusion). Not a small chunk of change by any means. The manager of our project made several visits out to our home before, during and after the project was completed. We provided a check for a portion of the work to this project manager and he decided to take the routing and account information from our check to pay some utility bills of his own. Discovered this after investigating some payment activities out of our account that were clearly not made by us. I was lucky enough to be able to track it back to this individual (whose name I have, but will not include) hoping some due justice would be served.Also notable, this same project manager came out to give his seal of approval after the project was complete. He said thumbs up - we were all good to go. About a week later, we discovered mice in our kitchen again - which we spent almost 1k as a part of the overall project to have completed. Called Terminix out to check it out --- the work had not been done! They had to send others out a week later to complete this part of the work. Then sometime later, we discover that part of our CPI security system is not working. Call out CPI -- they look under the house -- a CPI line had been cut by one of the Terminix workers during the project. CPI had to fix that! Bottom line, after all of this, particularly a breach of our personal account information and countless calls and complaints to Terminix, we received a complementary quarterly service at $75. Oh, and after having to ask ourselves, we learned that the project manager that stole our info was fired. Are you kidding me? I would have expected at least half of the project to be comped if not the entire thing after the debacle of a project this turned out to be. Particularly the breach to our personal accounts given the money we spent and the trouble that this infraction caused for us! It was literally a legal matter which should have been more concerning to this organization. It seemed swept under the carpet.Im not done with this one yet! I cant believe that this is the first time its happened with this employee either. If any other Terminix clients out there had fraudulent activity with their accounts during 2020 into early 2021, check it out -- reach out to me. Terminix was all to happy to walk away with our money with little concern for what occurred. I will be all too happy to come back after it and ensure the situation is dealt with appropriately.Edit Following Response from Terminix: Thanks Terminix, however, we have reached out to the regional manager, Alessandro N. and spoken with quite a few others from the Terminix organization. We have not received a satisfactory response. I will not be reaching out to Alessandro. Clearly this is not a priority. How about if someone from the corporate office reaches out to handle this legal infraction? We will be pursuing other ways to resolve.
They are non responsive once they have your money!!! No resolution on mice after 6 months working on the problem. I doubt they know what they are doing and just get paid per visit as opposed to per resolution.

Salesperson came out to inspect for rodents that I knew I had in the walls of my home. He went into the crawl space and recognized mice activity and destruction and priced me for the exclusion service. I also told him of of hold I knew existed in the wall of my garage where the mice could be entering. He agreed to have this hole patched when doing the crawl space. He quoted me for the service ($480) and I signed a contract. He called the next day to tell me it was going to be $100 more ($580) than what he quoted. I have gone back and forth with them several times because the hole was never fixed in the garage and I still hear mice in my walls. I have asked someone from management to call me and I have yet to receive a call. It has been over 2 weeks. I paid for a service and expect it to be completed for the $580 I was charged. They didn’t hesitate to charge my credit card.
Well they only came out once so far, I havent see any change since they came out, I actually see more roaches I am waiting to see what happen after their next visit to make another review
They dont stand behind theyre guarantee. Simple as that.
Excellent service and professionalism of all staff! I was very well pleased with all the work done. They went over the top, way over the top. I would only suggest that they come up with some more economical packages for folks. We had to have termite treatment done and deal with some serious moisture issues in our crawl space to protect our home investment, but it was very tough financially. As a result we just couldnt afford a monthly plan of extermination and one other treatment we needed to have done.

On June 11 Zachary Lewanowicz performed our periodic pest service. His thoroughness and friendliness were commendable. Without any advance notice, I asked him to do an inside treatment for roaches. This he did gladly and efficiently. He sprayed in areas that had never been treated before. He also treated the perimeter of a small outside shed that had never been treated before (because of distance). All-in-all, it was an excellent visit.
Excellent customer experience. Had a huge hornet nest and no one else would tackle the job. Great price, friendly, and knowledgeable. This relieved customer will call Terminix first from now on.

Each time I have had to call in, the people I have spoken with have been friendly and courteous. In addition we have had the same technician Michael (Tech ID 1188) perform our quarterly services. I will never use this company. They are overly pushy & intrusive. When they couldnt reach my husband to schedule an appointment, they sent someone by my house- unasked & unscheduled. I work a 12 hour graveyard shift and was woken up to someone pounding on my door to try to get me to schedule an appointment. Heres a tip- dont show up to a persons home unscheduled or unprompted. Its unprofessional, desperate, & inappropriate. Congratulations, in your attempt to schedule a client, you lost business.

Of all of the years that we have gotten treatments, he has been the best, most detailed, and comprehensive by far! This guy is a beast at what he does! His customer service skills are off the charts. When he leaves, there’s no doubt that you received complete coverage and treatment. With his work ethic, great things will be in Zach’s future! Great job Zach, and keep up the great work! Installed new barrier and dehumidifier in our crawl space. They were very prompt, efficient and install in a couple of days. The only negative is their billing. We got so many bills all with different project #s, it was confusing. We eventually determined that the end price was correct. They really need to simplify this process.FOLLOW UP (6 mos later): So many of their service reps and managers have left, Im getting an uneasy feeling about their service. I cant get anyone to respond to my emails or texts, and most times no one answer their local number. In addition, the UV bulb that runs the dehumidifier burned out, and they were going to charge us for a new one. I showed them the purchase date, and they agreed it was still under warranty. However, they didnt have any extras (and had to order new ones) - no installation date provided.
Changed from a small company to terminix recently and overall am very happy.Their rep who came out for an initial visit was extremely thorough.They will try to sell you on some things outside of pest control which is great if are are looking for additional services like crawl space encapsulation and moisture control.Best of all no bugs since switching and their monthly plan includes mosquito prevention which pays for itself.
I was disappointed in my service this past time Terminex came out. I continue to see ants around my porch and lots of them! I need for you to come back out...I also saw a bug/roach in my home. I continue to pay you ...I have to continue have you come out in between my every 3 months service/contract. . I dont feel really satisfied with this situation.Please come out and spray all around my porch and on my porch to get rid of all these ants.BARB L.
After one year of treatment, we still have bugs. We actually had better luck doing treatments ourselves, and weve tried three different pest control companies. Our experience with Terminex with only slightly better than the others but more expensive. Go figure!

I live at a complex in Raleigh. Twice in the past 6-8 months their exterminators were suppose to come to my apt, but never did. They lied to the management about spraying my apt. I am always home and i have a lab mix. So there is absolutely NO CONFUSION ABOUT THIS! I pay extra monthly for this service.This has been a problem before I was told.

Like I used to tell my employees, failure to follow instructions....... I will never use them again and I tell everybody not to use terminix.

Thanks for the inspection as David spoke with Terminex rep who said he found a mouse and shortly before we also caught a mouse with a glue trap. And weve seen a bug now and then so reps spraying of home area in and outside seems to have helped so far this May. Were curious about the added small black box rep set inside near the crawl space door. What is the function of that small box? I just recently became a customer with Terminix. I had a moisture issue in my crawl space and my technician Dan, was very helpful. He is a trustworthy and genuine person, and is very knowledgeable. He made going through the process of getting a complete moisture barrier and termite protection very smooth. So far, I am satisfied with Terminix and highly recommend their services. Dan is the man!
For the fourth time they were to come inside. I waited a week for this service and they did not come inside. I now have to wait another week for inside treatment so unimpressed
Mr Sutton had been our Bug Man for a long time. He is very thoughtful and knowledgable about his work and is always responsive to our concerns and latest issues to arise in or around our house. His visits are welcome. We will look forward to his care for years to come .
I have had the worst issues with Terminix. Let me start by saying the employees have been friendly.I have photos and videos to document the whole year events or unprofessional business. Last year treated for termites because they found tubes but no live termites and then had to come back out due to the installers didn’t put the liquid trench deep enough. Also I found evidence of them AGAIN in my porch post in May. The manager came and inspected and found nothing, his report noted nothing found. You can tell the wood tunnels and sandy dirt plus they were there. I then decided to look again myself in July and video the termites damage and documents they missed it. I have video/photos of the live termites in the wood. They treated that area again. I was outside last week and turned over a rock by my home other side of my home and guess what videoed live termites AGAIN . 😡It’s truly hard to believe. I was guaranteed with the bait stations and liquid barrier we would not have termites anymore. I have the bait stations and warranty. The warranty not what it appears. I put in two claims to have the 2 porch post that have now a year later been damaged by termites. Both claims DENIED. 😡I had broken vent replaced 3 times because they cracked the new vent during install and left it that way, yes 3 times. Then other vents wouldn’t opened. Other vents didn’t open and installer had to come back and fix those. The stress over all this and keeping up with all of it is ridiculous. At the beginning I recommend them other jobs. I would NOT recommend them for termite treatment or other services I am still waiting to here from management from the last situation. I feel like corporate needs to be involved and we should have a credit/refund applied to our account. We were also promised a credit for referral which I asked about multiple times and NO credit.I also had Terminix for pest control service and the last time they were here they left my back gate wide open. If I hadn’t notice I could have left my dog out and she could have escaped. I know mistakes happen but my family would have been devastated if something would have happen to our dog. This is not the service you expect or will be happy about.

I had an issue with a recent appointment from Terminix at my home. While it was inconvenient, my issue with their treatment was addressed by the local manager directly. I appreciate that in a company and realize we all make mistakes. However, I would recommend being at home if possible when they do their treatments to ensure the technician understands what you would like taken care of.
I have used Terminix at my house for 10 years now for termite contract and pest control. I like them. The past few years they have been telling me my crawl space was too damp. This year it was wet including the insulation. I had to bite the bullet and take care of it. Terminix did an outstanding job. High quality materials professionally installed. New moisture barrier, new insulation, sprayed for fungus and a dehumidifier. Now my crawl space is dry and I can stop worrying. They did a great job.
My area technician always does a great job. He is friendly and attentive. He is willing to come back if any new issue is found to resolve the problem.

Joseph, from Terminix, does my quarterly pest service. Besides being friendly and pleasant, hes extremely thorough and goes above and beyond in everything he does. I couldnt believe it the first time I saw him going around the house knocking down cobwebs. This was on the outside! I was amazed that he was so thorough. He always checks to see if anything else needs to be checked or treated. Hes the best!

I have used Terminex of Raleigh since 2001. The service is always good and the techs are very professional. But today tech 1188 came out on a callback for my yearly spring ant issue. He has been to my house numerous times and is always incredible. But today he came out and treated the ants with a different method. He was super professional - very quick and even educated me on the new method and why I have ants this time every year. It is very rare that a company you have been using for 19 years and never had a complaint exceeded their already perfect score.
I’m disappointed the technician didn’t go into the crawl space or spray around back porch for large ants crawling about. Thought he would go into the crawl space where we had problems last year. Didn’t ask for garage to be opened. I’m disappointed. We had terminix in Florida and our technician was thorough. He is a very nice man.
We had terminex come to inspect for termites in our house . Sale rep Dan was not the best person we got. Came to know after we signed up with terminex. He did not even suggest me to call my termite company through builder had warranty with . I was not aware that I should check with the builders termite company. He was pushing me to sign with terminex He kept bad mouthing the other company. Me being naive with out knowing about these things since I saw active termites in my garage got scared went with them ASAP . He charged us 1249$ for termite treatment with baits . He recommended 3500 $ dehumidifier. I went with treatment only and did not buy the humidifier . I felt like it was too much for the dehumidifier . At this point I felt he was trying to sell dehumidifier .After talking to other companies In the area after wards I noticed terminex is charging Very high price as well as only using bait stations to treat active termites with out using trenching and placing liquid in the ground . I felt like he cheated me after I talked to other companies after I signed with him . I should researched before I selected terminex . He kept saying all the other companies in the area were bad compared to terminex . When I called him to ask he was upset and said I cannot come off the contract and was rude . He left 2 bait stations in garage which still had active termites growing After 2 days . Spoke to his manager Lucas about Sales rep. Lucas was nice . We had another company Come to inspect after we went with terminex . They said we had active termites in the crawl space Which the Terminex sales rep did not even inspect properly . With all this mess with terminex I would never recommend any one to go with them .
