Love it. Always a warm welcome. A good cross selection of books, jewelry, crystals, incense, art etc etc etc. Ill go for the juice bar and leave out with a little more than I intended...

I was referred to the shop by a friend of mine. I loved the work and quality of the styles i seen so i decided to start my lock journey. I called Saturday morning to get an appointment. I was told pricing and that she was busy with a client and would give me a call back. After waiting most of the day and not hearing back i give them a call back and was able to get a 6am appointment on monday as an accommodation being that i needed to be done by 11. Well here it is monday at 6:54am and no one has showed up yet. I have called multiple times and mailbox is full. I am extremely disappointed and inconvenience by the whole experience.Update: i did speak with someone and was made aware of the miscommunication. Looking forward to giving a second chance with a better experience

Even though it was short notice Ms. Kashaka was able to get my hair twisted nice and the barber on duty Mr. Chris was able to line me up... Two thumbs up 👍👍 loved the service

Black owned and operated, best prices for locs that I found, and my daughter was very happy with the her locs that actually took less then the estimated time ( I was happy for that lol)

Was really awesome, got my head shaved and it looked good. Had a really chill atmosphere and Chris was nice. 10/10 would recommend.

Malaika was very short and rude she tried to rush my hair style with bigger braids due to high volume appointments .. not only that but she was 30 minutes late to the appointment she set I would not recommend this place to anyone definitely just another lousy black owned business I hope she finds help and professionalism.

This was an amazing nail Barber jewelry you name it this place has it. This was a day trip that I really enjoyed haircut nails done all in the same place. The people was so pleasant they talk they loved I really enjoyed it you must go and try it out.

I got a hair cut by a barber and a so called stylist cost me 120.00. My cut still has no shape, uneven lines, razor cuts was toooooo big for my small head. Curls didnt last, no consult on the texture and course to take with my hair. Got a dye job and hair fell out on top after a month because I needed to do something and got a perm.....big mistake. Now my hair is lifeless, dry as a desert and beyond. I didnt want to come back to work with anyone to correct it. It makes no sense to show a picture and your cut looks like nappy underarm hair a day later. This was about 4 mo ago or more, but I will never visit again I see you only do locs and it was my mistake thinking this shop had capable barbers and stylist,now I need to find another spot to do a correction. If they had a half star rating that would be my choice.

I really enjoyed my experience at BLC Gallery. Malaika did a really good job with my locs. She was fast sweet and I felt super comfortable. I really appreciate her squeezing me last minute and treating me like a very valued customer. It really meant a lot to me. And on top of that I love love loved my hair! When ever I’m in the Raleigh area this is where I will be getting my hair done. She is awesome ❤️

A BLESSING!!! That is truly what Malika is! After driving 2.5 hours from VA to one salon for an appt and they not answering I drove around the city literally praying that this would not be a wasted trip. After searching google I ended up in the parking lot of BLC Gallery and I will forever be thankful for Malika answering the phone and inviting my son and myself into her salon. There are not enough thank you’s that I can extend to her for her knowledge, patience, and expertise. This woman is nothing short of amazing. My son’s hair looks a thousand percent better and we will start to make this a routine visit for his loc maintenance. I want to also shout out the barber, Chris. He too had a very friendly demeanor and made us feel welcome. Customer service is something that for sure makes a difference and I can honestly say this place has it. Thank you all so much for a great experience. Will be seeing you all for his next appointment for sure. You have yourselves a new customer and not just a walk in.

Malayka is the very BEST!!! She is my daughters loctician and she made her soooo beautiful for prom. The prom theme was Metgala and she definitely set it off with how she slayed her hair!! She also does my 5 year olds locs. Shes the ONLY person that I will let touch my kids hair!! She deserves 10 stars!!

If you are going to get your haircut, do not HAVE IT HERE. I was about to get my haircut, I called in early with the Hair Stylist, we have been in since 6 oclock, apperantly, she has a 5:45 rule, or she closes. We was stuck in traffic since exit 280 and got there at 6:07, only to sit an hour, then come up to my mother, and say Its going to be an extra charge., and didnt say anything until now, and then when I walked towards the chair, she said You got to pay me first in a nasty tone. Again, do not go to her. Her name is G (Didnt get her full name). She treated my mother like she was like the worst criminal known to the government in the US.
