Hiring Tony Kehoe, at Gailor Hunt, to represent me on my divorce case was one of the best decisions I have made. I retained Tony after it became clear that my previous lawyer (at a different firm) was not looking to get me the best outcome possible or even asking my ex to provide adequate documentation. Tony very quickly got up to speed with my case, reviewed and organized all the old documentation from the previous lawyer, and then requested additional information from my ex to get me the answers I was looking for. He reviewed in detail all documents to draft the separation agreement. Every step of the way he comforted me by answering questions, keeping me in the loop when opposing counsel responded, promptly replying to my emails/phone calls, and making sure I was well informed to make decisions. I always felt like Tony had my back 100% with my best interest in mind. When our case went to mediation, he was very well prepared, organized, and quickly able to provide supporting documents to back up our claims. I will always be grateful for his expertise, support, and drive which helped me get the best deal possible and get through a very difficult phase in my life.

About 9:00 a.m. I called this firm back after seeing that I missed their phone call at 8:00 a.m. it took us a good 10 minutes to even figure out exactly why I was called to begin with. The first 10 seconds into our conversation were the immediate red flags. The young lady they have here who answers the phones is extremely rude and unprofessional. I might mention that this is the seventh time that I have spoken with this firm and not a single time they have ever remembered who I was. The young lady that I was speaking to this morning who answered the phone did not want to answer any of my questions without me scheduling a $500 basic consultation fee appointment. I might add here, that at a $10,000 minimum to handle your family litigation cases you might want to have a more compassionate and understanding associate at your firm who answers your phones and deals with your clients before they decide to hire you. If This were my firm and I was charging $10,000 per custody case I would definitely want to know that this was happening so I could make further arrangements for her replacement. From my experience this morning, I will not be hiring this firm. Make no mistake about it I did a lot of research on Jamie Davis here and she looks to be an excellent attorney however I will not get the chance to see for myself because I couldnt even communicate with her staff.

If I could give them less than one star I would. If you are looking for an attorney who actually cares about your case or your child- I advise steering clear. They will only work for you if you have deep pockets. I am a single mother and a registered nurse trying to find an advocate for my child and myself. I was consulting with their firm as I was not happy with my current attorney. I was impressed with how sweet and genuine Kim sounded and thought I might have found the right place as she assured me that they would “definitely be able to help, you have found the right place”. She confirmed that she consulted the attorney (Jamie Davis) and that she would definitelty be able to help me. I was also told that the consultation would be $500 for unlimited time with the attorneys. Not only did she and her counterpart make me feel awful with their condescending looks and tone- but they refused to listen to anything else I had to say. At the end of this traumatic encounter (1.5 hours)- she had the nerve to say that if I wanted to retain them after my next hearing, I could, but I should stick with my current attorney as she knows my case better. I was under the impression that I would have “unlimited time” in this consultation where they could have gotten all of the information about my situation/case. To add insult to injury they refused to allow me to make payments on the consultation fee- which they knew I could not afford to spend on, essentially, nothing. So my advice is to steer clear- but if you have the money and don’t mind attorneys that have no soul or conscience- this is the place for you.

Words cannot describe the gratitude I have for Cathy Hunt and her assistant Liz Morgan. I went through a divorce that hit me out of left field when my children were little (ages 3, 5 and 8). I was a stay-at-home Mom at the time and in a state of shock. Cathy was able to be that calm steady force that I needed to make sure my children (and myself) were protected.
