Show up at 6:00 p.m. for a NC state inspection, four other cars were there. Two directly in front of me in the same bay. The team was courteous and nice and was able to get me out within 30 minutes.

Been here in times past with no issue. During those previous visits (specifically for state inspection) I have had a few minor things I was unaware of that would have failed me. Every time this has happen, the shop informed me of the issue and said they would charge for the inspection after the problem was fixed and I brought it back. During my most recent visit, the first thing they checked failed the car, but they chose to continue the inspection and charge the full price. Not sure when things changed, but I dont appreciate being drug along.

I was warned before my first time here. But I chose to ignore that warning. Went in for an inspection. With 100% perfect, outstanding best wipers I’ve ever had on a car. I forgot to specifically say the wipers are fine. I go across the street to eat and sure enough, five minutes later, the call, your car needs new wipers or we can’t pass it. Held hostage. I had no choice but to give in after they refused twice to leave the perfect ones on. I blame myself for falling prey to these tactics. Don’t do what I did. Take your car someplace else. To the owners, you may think you can endlessly use tactics like this to screw the people who are bringing you business. I for one will never return. And to the readers I suggest you do the same.

Told me that they couldnt read my computer and I had 4 lights out. I showed for just a state inspection and still had to be failed because they couldnt connect to my car computer which is shady as my car has no issues or check engine lights. A pwrson in there waiting to be served also said its no reason why they couldnt read my car computer. Went to auto zone to have my computer tested and it came back perfect with no codes. The employess at auto zone told me that this place is known for doing things like this. I feel like theyre taking advantage of alot of people in the leesville area. Good luck to anyone going there. I have my receipts from auto zone stating how my computer connected perfectly as well. Thinking about taking legal action. Well see. Be blessed. Ill be serving them very soon. Good luck

Visited this place for an auto inspection as I do every year. Had a rear tail light broken and taped over which did not pass, of course. Ryan went out of his way to tell me where I could find the part locally and for the best price. Once I did that and came back he put it on for me and passed the inspection. Certainly cannot ask for any more than that.

Went for an inspection no problems I was aware of. They told me my turn markers were out. Told them to replace the bulbs so I could pass. Now my turn signals are out. Ill be headed back there to get this fixed.

Been using these guys for years. Recently had a leak that my mechanic found in the radiator. He found snappy lube put green antifreeze in my system which causes too much pressure. Radiator replaced... Purple antifreeze used.

Based on mileage, I thought I was due for an oil change. The guys here checked and told me my oil life was good and I could go another 1000 miles before checking again. I appreciated their honesty and desire to provide the best service, even if it meant postponing my business. Came here for an NC vehicle inspection. The location is great and there is a good number of restaurants in walking distance. The inspection was quick (done during lunch hour) and I wasnt pressured into buying anything. The techs were knowledgeable and polite.

Arrived for state inspection at 11am on a Monday morning and was driving away with inspection paperwork at 11:25. Very fast and very professional crew.

My vehicle was failed at this location and then subsequently passed at the next location I took it to. Its passed all four years Ive had it in NC EXCEPT for the one time I take it here. My car is right off the factory floor with no aftermarket additions. Bogus failure and just an excuse for them to make money. Take your car to a reputable source, not this location that will fail your car for BS reasons

It can be hard to find good mechanics that you trust with your vehicle. They do cost more than some other shops, but it is well worth it for their honesty and attention to detail. They will even squeeze you in when you dont have an appointment and offer discounts regularly.

I had recently purchased used tires on a Saturday and on Tuesday my tire was completely flat. I went to Snappy Lube looking for air and found out my tire was not put on properly put on so adding air would not help, I needed the tire replaced. Anthony, Ben, and Bryce were not only kind enough to check out my car, but they also put my donut on free of charge. I have never been so grateful for such kind help. I highly recommend going to Snappy Lube On Leesville Rd. for your car troubles.

Went for vehicle inspection. Quick and easy. Total wait time about 10 minutes. Sort of hard to find. Its in the back of the shopping center attached to a car wash.

Id been suggested Snappy Lube when I needed to get my car inspected, so I took it up there to drop it off during my lunch break. Through an unfortunate twist of fate, my keys ended up locked inside the car (through no fault of the mechanics). One mechanic in particular, named Anthony, went above and beyond to help me get my car unlocked without having to call a locksmith and incur an additional charge as well as potential damage to my car. I will be taking my car to Snappy Lube, and personally requesting Anthony, for all of my car-related needs in the future. I highly recommend this shop.

Have been using this location for oil changes, inspections, and wipers for years. Unfortunately, my last few visits have been very disappointing. I got an oil change a few weeks ago and asked to have the cabin air filter replaced. The tech said they didnt have any filters to fit my vehicle in stock. I returned a couple of weeks later and was told my vehicle does not have a cabin air filter. However, I went to AutoZone and purchased the filter.I am not sure if the techs just dont want to do the work or dont have time, but I am extremely disappointed in this location and my husband and I will not be returning.

Ive gone to Snappy Lube for years and they are helpful and friendly! They even did a safety check for me recently when I had to travel to Ohio unexpectedly about 900 miles before an oil change was due and didnt charge me as they didnt do anything....except give me peace of mind. And thats a lot.

The turtle in their logo is more accurate than the snappy part of their name. Told me to wait 20min for inspection, sat there 30 minutes, another car pulls up and they service them and tell me to wait another 40 to 50 minutes. He saw me get out of the car from where I was parked (directly next to them) and never told me to get in line (there wasnt a line and didnt want to block in the bays)Generally a poor operation, they should have a service writer if their employees cant manage customers.

I have three vehicles that need inspection, so I took the first one in and was told that a rear bulb was out and it cost $6.99, so I asked if I had to purchase the bulb for the vehicle to pass inspection the guy rudely replied you do not have to purchase the bulb from here I will fail the vehicle and you can purchase the bulb else where! What an idiot why would I want my vehicle failed due to a bulb out because I asked a question. Then I was charged $10 for tint without being told so $47 later for a simple inspection! The main compliant is the guy message and delivery to a paying customer. Ive been to this location previous years and wasnt thrilled about the customer service however the place is convenient so for good customer service I will have to travel out of my way so I do not have to tolerate horrible customer service.

Have been going here for the past 7 years for inspections and oil changes. Always great, honest service. One time, for inspection, I needed a plate bulb replaced (they did not have in stock) and one of the guys actually went out of his way to go find me one so they could replace that day (so I could pass inspection), and even though he spent his own time, I was only charged for the cost of the bulb. Seriously, these guys are so nice.They are also in same plaza as Goodberrys and other restaurants, so if you hit them during a busy time, you can just walk over and eat something while you wait :)

Very few times in life have I been wowed by customer service. Went in for inspection and was immediately taken care of by very kind and friendly staff; mentioned a tire issue and the manager was so knowledgeable and helpful and went above and beyond in taking care of it. For no extra charge. Yes, I was wowed.

If you are looking for bottom of the barrel then this is your place. Techs will lie right to your face. Took my vehicle in for an inspection, nothing wrong, tech put vehicle in reverse without fully engaging reverse (R light on dash) and tripped check engine light. Instead of failing the vehicle before pulling it in, he pulled it in and did half the inspection so he could still charge the $25 fee,. When I questioned him about it he said I never put it in reverse, when I said I watched you back it up outside then hes Er uh er uh er uh. Ill never go to this location or any other snappy lubes from now on. Every experience at the Leesville location consisted of them trying to upsell me by lying about something that is not actually needed. They have tried to tell me before that I needed a new air and cabin air filter, what they didnt know was that I had just changed both earlier that week. My recommendation would be to take your vehicle to a place with qualified service techs.On edit after owner response:Drove the car all morning for work, then went to lunch, after lunch the check engine light turned off. Instead of pressing my luck again with this establishment, I took it to Firestone and lo and behold, inspection passed. They must have better drivers at Firestone I guess. They are better dressed and ASE certified, they also gave much more professional service, and didnt try to recommend unnecessary repairs. I also took a look at my dash cam footage which provides an in cabin view as well, which clearly showed the tech observing the check engine light prior to pulling the vehicle into the bay. I am not unhappy the car didnt pass inspection at snappy lube, Im unhappy that whatever the tech did tripped the check engine light, and yet still pulled the vehicle into the bay simply to get the $25 fee. Lesson learned, we will patronize other establishments moving forward.

People these are experts when it comes to non-dealer auto lubricant care.I have tried them all and every one them would make a mistake sooner or later, and sometimes serious ones. just brought my newly bought 2008 BMW 335i there for an oil change. Wow!, these men really know their cars and proper maintenance practices. I was a Aircraft Mechanic in the US Air Force for 20 years and built Jet Engines for GE for 10 years after that. I know a mechanic when I see and talk to one. These men are not kids and will never steer you wrong. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience. This was my second visit and both times the great service was consistent and pleasant. Try them and youll see what i mean!

LONG REVIEW BUT A MUST READ FOR ALL VETERANS LIVING NEAR BY!!!I stop by SNAPPY LUBE 10200 LEESVILLE RD this past Thursday the 21st of March at 5:30 pm to make sure they could do a oil change on my 2001 corvette. The guy I spoke with was very nice and said yes we can. I told him I would be back at 8:00am when they open.Jumping FORWARD to this morning 3/22/2019, I showed up at 8:00 sharp because I live down the street and wanted to keep the money I spend in the community.This same guy greeted me and said welcome back. Then he said hold on and spoke to his manager. He came back to me and said his manager said I could not use a Synthetic blend in my corvette I had to use full Synthetic. I called the corvette dealership where I purchase the corvette and they said thats crazy because it has Synthetic blend oil in it right now.I told the guy what the dealer said and he said his manager said we can only use full Synthetic and we only have two bottles left. I asked could they have some picked up from Auto Zone? The guy said you can go get yourself and we will do the oil change, but it will be at the same price for the oil change WHEN CALCULATED. I said thats crazy. get my own oil!!!I left and went to Jiffy Lube and they did the oil change with no problem using a Synthetic blend, the same type of oil that was already in the car.I DO NOT UNDERSTAND !!!! I guess the manager did not want to deal with the oil change on a corvette or maybe he thought he might have to rotate the tires. IF HE HAD ASK I WAS NO GETTING MY TIRES ROTATED THERE OFF SET TIRES.I am a retired US Marine 22 years of service but cant get service in my own neighborhood for a oil change.CRAZY,CRAZY, CRAZY.... YOU ARE GOING TO TRY TO MAKE ME GET OIL I DONT WANT AND I AM THE CUSTOMER.Whats really crazy I was recommended by a friend of mine. Cant want to speak my friend later today.WOULD LOVE TO HEAR A RESPONCE FROM THEM. BUT WILL NOT WAIT ON IT.

Theyre nice but their rates are terrible. They didnt consult with me regarding rates or options, simply worked on my car then charged me $80 for an oil change. Nothing else, no air filter changes, tire rotation, nothing but an oil change. I could have gotten new air filters, a tire rotation AND the oil change for $60 at my dealership. I will NOT be returning! They overcharge like no other and dont tell you the price until its too late and theyve completed the service!

My wife and I had a bad experience on two separate occassions at this location. The first time, I brought my truck in for an oil change and tire rotation. They performed the oil change to the best of my knowledge, but for some reason were unable to remove the tires to complete the rotation. I took it to the place I purchased the tires and they did it with no issues. I pretty much dismissed this as odd and didnt think much of it until my wife had another poor experience last week.She took her car in for an oil change and inspection. Again no issues with the oil change that we know of, but they were unable to get their computer to talk to her CRV. They attempted to blame it on a bad battery on a fairly new car. They claimed it died and caused an issue with her computer. This was pretty odd because there were no alarms prior to this. To make matters worse they attempted to charge her for an inspection failure even though it was clearly an error with their computer or the person operating it. We know this because we took it to another mechanic who had no issues and even verified the battery was in good condition.These two instances are the only times we have dealt with this business. I am pretty certain that there is a lot of incompetence among the employees. I would definitely not recommend taking any business there, and it is a shame because they do have a great location.

Service staff helped me out when I was in a bind. They were very honest and fixed a problem I had to help me get back on the road. They went above and beyond and honored their quoted price even though the work took a little longer.

This is by far the worst auto body shop in North Raleigh. I’ve been coming to this mechanic for years up until I could no longer stand the incredible wait time and sleazy sales tactics. This past August, I brought my Acura in for a simple oil change. Unfortunately, the “specialists” at Snappy Lube forgot to replace the drained oil with new oil, resulting in the complete destruction of my Acura’s engine. Moral of the story: The employees do not care nor do they take any responsibility for the well being of the customers they serve.

Beware if you go here. I went once and they did a fine job. The second time though, they used the wrong bolt and never replaced the washer after an oil change so oil was dripping all over my driveway. I took it back twice and they said they tightened it up each time. I will never go back.

First time I went was a good experience, in and out.The second time, I got a different set of techs. They took almost an hour to finish a simple inspection and charged me over $40 for a simple oil change (total of about $75).

This place is awful. If you want to be upsold on EVERYTHING when you only ask for just an oil change come to this location! My engine started ticking (carbon build up) and I was just coming to get my oil done to see if it could possibly be low oil or maybe an actual rod knock and it wasnt. Engine was still ticking. I was fine with that. What I wasnt fine with was being told I need to redo all my fluids and that my oil is sludgy and that my transmission fluid is bad. Im not a paid mechanic with any certifications but I do a lot of my own work to my own car. What was embarrassing was that the idiot who tried to upsell everything to me confused the tranny oil with the engine and showed me the tranny oil and said your car runs synthetic not conventional and youll destroy your engine I had to get out and prove to him he was wrong and all of his buddies that they didnt know what they were doing. After that I stood outside and made sure they didnt mess anything else up. This place is a poor excuse. And also 70+ for a oil change is absurd. This place is ridiculous. Awful staff. The only good thing was the fact that they had a good movie playing. That was it. The tv did a better job than the 3 stooges working on my car.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!! RUDE!!!Do not take your vehicle to this location. They charged my wife ten extra dollars for her state inspection. They claimed it was because we have after market tint. When my wife politely informed them that we bought our vehicle brand new from Fred Anderson Toyota with factory tint, they refused to charge us the regular rate. When she asked if she could get a letter from the dealer proving that it is factory tint and get the ten bucks back, they again refused. They told her she would have to take it up with the DMV. Not to mention the guy was rude. Needless to say they will never get our business again and this story will be told to everyone I know.

Terrible customer service at this location!!!! They took twice as long as promised to complete the inspection and then made sure my car flunked inspection when my husband complained about the delay. Make sure you look at your windshield wipers before you take your car in for inspection people! We made a point to inspect them beforehand and they purposely tampered with the wipers to create a reason to flunk the inspection to either get back at us or so they can sell their overpriced wipers. Had to go buy wipers elsewhere and was told to come back another day because they were too busy. I will never go back to this location again!!! Desperately needs new management!!!

Dont use their car wash. It scraped two of my rims on the right side even though I entered the car wash straight in. I did not use their car repair side of things, just their car wash.
