I have used this company’s services before and they always go above and beyond! Andre was an absolute superstar today!!! He stayed way way later than the appointment while battling with my LEMON of a car Toyota Camry, he did everything in his power to try and solve the issue and explain those issues to me. We may have been on the traffic radio for my stalled car blocking a lane but his customer service, professionalism, and perseverance definitely deserves him a raise! I am very Impressed with the Hybrid Geek. Not only do the have the best prices around, the are very easy to communicate with. I called these guys back in June 2020. - I live in Virginia Beach - 4 hours from their shop. They had a technician at my house to install a battery the next day. I purchased a battery and install with 1 year / 12,000 mile warranty for cheaper than the competitors - trust me I looked at all the options. The technician was there for about an hour and my car was back on the road. The customer service was excellent.8 months later, 11,000+ miles into my warranty, my battery has a failure code again. I called the company not expecting to have it covered, but I thought it was worth a shot.No questions asked after I gave Simon the codes from my scanner, he said he could have a technician to my house that SAME DAY. - 4 hours from his shop.The technician came out, diagnosed the battery, and had it replaced within an hour and again was on his way.I will never hesitate to use this company in the future, they stand behind their warranty 100% Thank you Hybrid Geek for your excellent service and Ill always recommend you in the future.

Amazingly fast service called on Tuesday had battery installed by Friday! Simon was great to talk with and really helped with understanding the warranty options and what would be best for me. The installer Mitch was great also, a pleasure to talk with and walked me thru putting the brackets back on since I wanted them left off to do the rear struts on the Prius. All around top notch an would recommend to all and will do business with them again when needed.

Not only for batteries. The Combo meter was rarely working (unable to determine speed and fuel levels). Also the hybrid battery was on the fritz. BUT HYBRID GEEK TO THE RESCUE. (See their super hero cape)...my car has been restored!!! AND THEIR RATES WERE GREAT!!!! IF THERE WAS 10 STARS THEY WOULD GET THEM!!! Thank you Doug and Simon. Right from the first phone call the employees at The Hybrid Geek were amazingly helpful and polite. They answered any question I had no matter how small. They were able to get me an appointment quickly and were very prompt in arriving by the scheduled appointment time. When Mitch arrived to replace my hybrid battery it was done within 45 minutes. I went through an arduous process to find a good solution for my hybrid battery failure.There are a lot of options for replacing prius batteries. I ultimately chose a refurbished battery based on the reduced waste and lower price. There are also various methods for installment. I ultimately chose a mobile installation because it seemed easiest and most affordable.I waited a few weeks to write my review for Hybrid Geek after seeing how the battery has been doing. Many of the reviews I read for various companies were posted right away which I found less helpful.After a month since installation and driving my car on a 14 hour round trip vacation, My gas mileage is up 5-7 and it is driving much better than before failure!I am glad I chose Hybrid Geek for the following reasons:1. Simon was the most helpful over the phone and seemed more like a mechanic than a salesman. He was not eager, and he was helpful, respectful, and knowledgeable.2. The installation was super fast and was completed by my two kind technicians (who installed in the rain) and helped show me some leaks I had in my car.3. Talked to Simon multiple times and scheduled the replacement of the hybrid battery on my RXH450. They were on time and followed up shortly after work was done. Loved the fact that all work was done at a location convenient to me. I would certainly recommend these guys.

Guy I spoke with was so honest about their batteries, that I bought one from their competitors . He convinced me I would not get a trouble free battery from them .Even his higher priced batteries were not much better.If u dont have faith in your products, no way I can.

I have a 2005 Toyota Prius. Last July 2018, I had The Hybrid Geek replace my entire battery pack because my pack was going bad. They were very easy to work with and the car was done in an hour and a half. I was offered a five year full warranty on the battery pack and I took it. A year later, I was driving to a mechanic thinking the warning lights that turned on was due to a brake issue. On the way, the battery pack completely failed. I made it to the mechanic. They confirmed the issue and warning lights was for the battery pack. I called The Hybrid Geek and they came to mechanic and looked at my Prius and replaced the battery pack for no charge. I am driving the car again without issue. I am very pleased with the whole affair.

After getting a quote for over 3k from my local Toyota dealer to replace the hybrid battery in my Prius, I had to look for other solutions. So I called Hybrid Geek and talked to Simon. I was able to schedule an appointment in VA within a few days and best of all, I did not have to leave my home. Easy service to replace battery at my house, which was great because the car was almost undrivable. Hundreds cheaper than even the cheapest new battery deals, and with a longer warranty. Easy payment by credit card after the job was done.

I replaced the hybrid battery and chose the 5 yr warranty. Its been over a year and a half and thank God the battery and car is running great. It is especially important to check how the hybrid battery reacts to big changes in weather, especially from hot summer to cold sub-32 like now in Nov.In the past I had a previous Prius that gave me constant trouble with the hybrid battery and chose the least expensive options first (eg a person from FL drove and replaced mine in the parking lot within 1 hour!) but it only lasted for 8 months? and then good luck getting a hold of him in a moment when you actually need a quick repair (say within a week). Then I replaced it with a brand new one from dealer and that worked at a steep price.Then I replaced the car with a different Prius 2006, and within a few months I had hybrid battery issues again. Thats what you get for buying used priuses sometimes, because if theyre 100% ok, they dont sell them:)Thats when Hybrid Geek came in the picture at a Google search and I tried them. I waited all this time to have a chance to actually see how the battery does in changing weather over time, not the first week you drive off the lot of the repair place.I can say that the owner (from South Africa originally) was very very friendly, his service was excellent and the quality of the battery I received (5yrs warranty) seems to be excellent, 1.5 years later. They deserve the 5 stars in my case.Good luck!

2007 Civic Hybrid battery was completely gone. Hybrid Geek replaced all the dead cells and the car get the MPG like when it was new! Great experience; would recommend highly!

I dont normally do reviews but wanted to compliment Simon & Hybrid Geek on the service I received. A few weeks ago my ten-year old Prius Hybrid Battery died. Toyota quoted me a very expensive replacement (almost the Blue Book value of the car!), so I looked around and found Hybrid Geek. Not only were they the best value for the replacement, but they also offered Mobile Installation and could come out to my office to replace the battery on site. The installation took less than an hour and the car has worked great since then. Simon was a pleasure to speak with and work with - he knows his stuff but he also is the kind of person youd want to work with in a stressful situation like this. While I hope I dont need this service again, I know who Ill call if I do. Thanks again Simon!

I am a proud owner of my Toyota camry hybrid 2007 currently running with 165,000 miles on board. This is my work horse. Recently my hybrid battery started showing error message. Upon taking it to my Toyota dealer found out that this was going to cost me $5500 to replace the whole Hybrid battery system. This was not planned for and I was not willing to spend that like of money. I started to shop around online and called several companies. Extremely happy with the service I have received from hybrid geek thus far!! I had my battery replaced the end of April due to my original failing. Unfortunately July 16th my vehicle started to act the same way as it did when the battery was failing. After a quick trip to get the codes read found out my replacement battery was failing as well. Called hybrid geek with the codes that were read and they were apologetic and had me set up for an apt the next day to fix the issue through my purchased warranty. The tech Mitch was quick, respectful and apologetic to the prblm as well. Will still continue my business with this company for any of my hybrid battery needs, stuck behinde there warranty and seemed generally concerned that their product, in this instance, had an issue as well as quickly and efficiently resolving the issue.

My Toyota Prius got a red triangle, check engine, yellow brake system light on after I finished shopping at Walmart near by my house. I drove car back to my house and it almost die in the middle of the road, but I made it. I did some research that what causes this issue. On the Internet, they say 12v battery go bad (I hope it is 12v battery bad not hybrid), so we towed the car to the shop. However, they diagnosed my car, and they said the hybrid battery was bad. The shop quoted me $3000 to replace the battery. Seriously? Put 3k money into 260k mileage car? I think it not worth it to pay 3k to fix the old car. I can use that money for down payment for new car. Next day I towed the car back to my house and looked for another way that cheaper than 3k.My sister found this shop; it has a physical location, I thought it should be good? So, I give a try and contact them on their Facebook page. Peter came to my house next day in the morning, exactly what they promised. Peter is friendly and professional. He knows how to fix the hybrid battery, and he fixed very fast! I paid total $1500 including tax, and it comes with five years pro rated warranty; it is half of the price that another shop quoted me for a new battery. Im glad that he could make my Prius that can run for many many years. Thank you so much, Peter.
