Not sure what this company does but I do not feel comfortable giving out my date of birth or phone number to a stranger (especially when they called me). Im in sales so I am patient and respectful when it come to cold calling, I get it, it is your job to call me. BUT when I ask what the call is about/ what your company does and all you do is repeat to me I will call back at a better time... that is just annoying and in no way helpful. Come up with a safer way to verify peoples information/ a better track talk for your employees.
I had an upsetting experience with their Raleigh office yesterday. The call came in around 4 pm and left me shaken...the agent, Lloyd, was unclear about where he was calling from, and why. When I questioned him, he got irritated. (At first, I thought he was calling from Optum RX, a prescription company). He was rude and impatient. When I entered my credit card number, he pronounced it invalid. More stress! I thought my cc was frozen or had been tampered with. I asked Lloyd if he could call back today at 4pm. Four oclock came and went. I was DREADING talking with Lloyd again and decided that if he answered, I would ask for someone else. I would have given Lloyd a one star rating for yesterdays poor service. I would have given him a 0 if I could have.So today, around 5, I called them. This time the agent (Clarence)was pleasant. Patient, clear, personable, and a great listener. Empathetic. Turned out he was in Illinois! And a good thing too! He went the extra mile to take care of my account. I was happy after talking with him because he was so understanding. So I up-graded my rating of this company to a 4.I would suggest calling this company after 4 or 5 pm, so you dont have to speak with anyone in the Raleigh office. Hopefully, the IL office will pick up, and youll have a much better chance of experiencing good customer service.
Some guy named Chris called me multiple times asking me to confirm my Birthdate and Name. I had to ask 4 times what businesses was even calling. Then insisted on my name and Birthdate. I asked them to take me off their call list, then got irritated said this is an important business matter that we need to discuss before we discus any further, I need your name and Birthdate I told him to f*** off and they said no need to get rude then hung up. What the hell are they anyway?
This company sent email confirmation that payments would come out my account every 28th of the month!!!! Ok here it is 4/2/20 and you sending me a email at 7:17 talking about delinquent. How when the money been in the bank!!! Had no problem snatching the first payment now this one you didn’t get on time! Calling and they aren’t answering.
I had an agreement for one year & paid each month; however some financial stuff happened and I asked for a 2 month hold on direct withdrawls. The guy was very rude and said If you dont care about your credit, then we will do whatever you want RUDE & Unacceptable! This is my only complaint and will be happy to take my business elsewhere!!!
To start off with, I was not arrears in the account that they sent the dunning letter for, (or any other account for that matter) and when I tried to discuss it with them they argued with me and said to just ignore the letter and dont worry about the consequences.Went back to Rex Outreach and got it figured out -- there was no balance and they contacted Optimum and got it cancelled. Yet, three months later, it is still on my credit history. They wont say who they reported to or when -- nor have they indicated that they have sent an error message out to the reporting bureaus (or which ones) and so essentially I am dinged in error and they havent fixed the problem.Agencies have a duty to get it right, tough business but there are ethical agencies out there -- I am just not seeing this as one of them. If you are a business, my suggestion is to stay far away from this agency.
I had a few small medical bills from Duke that got sent to them. I paid over $100 and the account is showing I never paid them anything. The account also shows more money online then what my mailed statement shows. They basically stole my money and never put it towards anything. This is a big scam company. You should go on your credit report and dispute any money owed for any company through these guys. DO NOT SEND MONEY TO THEM...Will be having an attorney contact this company immediately
Sad is correct, string you along and when you get almost to the point past due, that you cant pay your bill any longer. Then you find out its been turned into a collection against you on your credit report. There mail notification is always 5-7 days behind the due date! Lazy!
Had to ask countless times to get my account #! Customer service does not listen, they only care what is convenient for them. Hope I do not have to deal with this company again
I would give them o if it was possible. I called trying to pay a bill for my 8 yr old son. The rep wanted my birthday info. and was extremely rude about it.
After my daughters surgery and getting all the paper work out, I thought is was a done deal. I received an invoice in June, 2015. So, I called and get confirmation that I was good to go. Then today, I received a call from these collection people telling me I owe money. I said, are you kidding me? So now I have to waste time and money to send them proof that theres a zero balance. So unfair. There is zero communication with these people and honestly, thats very sad.
I have to agree with the other comments. I had to call them multiple times for a account I had that was past due. The account was paid six months ago and it hasnt came off my credit report yet. I called optimum outcomes multiple times only to have them give me the run around. I finally got a receipt from the institution were my account was past due. Now that I have proof I can dispute it for the third time. Optimum Outcomes has the worst customer service and are very unprofessional.
Did not make debtor aware that one missed payment will go to your credit as a derogatory account. Does not send email correspondence or has an online system where you can track each payment made or notifies you of an upcoming or missed payment. Bad customer service all around.
They were actually really nice to me and they remove collections rather than close them when they are paid in full. Thats a breath of fresh air in the collections industry.
I call them to settle an account. I paid off account then they change the amount owe. From now on I will send the money to the company that I owe money to and not to these recovery companies. And the companies cant refuse to take my money!
You are rude and boorish. I have tried unsuccessfully to pay a bill (in full) that our guest from China incurred at Duke Urgent Care last summer. She was here as a Grad. Student working in my Husbands Biology lab at NCCU in Durham. We presented her travel insurance and were not asked for a payment. I gave my home phone as the contact person if there was a bill. We are getting daily calls with pre- recorded messages about the bill. When I actually get a human on the phone asking them to give me the amount of bill and asking for help I am hung up on. This happened to me twice and my Husband once. Duke was unable to find her account today and when they called your company----YOU could not help him, Do you not want this money?YOUR STAFF IS BEYOND RUDE. I WOULD HATE TO HAVE A JOB THAT REQUIRED ME TO HELP A WILLING CUSTOMER . At least the Rep at Duke tried his best and was polite to me. Susan Clamp-Durham
Not pleasant to negotiate with. Untruthful and you have to really fight to have them removed from your credit report once paid. They promise to send you a letter saying paid in full and it will be removed from credit bureaus, but you have to call them daily for weeks to finally receive the letter.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE.. DONT ANSWER THE PHONE.. SCAM
The woman I spoke with on the phone told me that the amount that appeared on my credit report was relieved and I didnt owe anything anymore. She told me I could go online and dispute it if it still appeared on my credit report. I asked her how I should go about that process, meaning is there a specific website I go should go to etc. She replied with Umm...I dont know... I said I usually check my credit through Credit Karma, can I do it through there? She replied with I guess...Im not really sure...Like...isnt this your job? lol Extremely unhelpful and unwilling to put any real effort into answering my questions. Run away... Run far away from this company.
Can someone tell Donna to get in touch with these mfs so they can stop leaving voice mails on my phone
I had knee surgery three years ago, and relocated counties my hospital bills were sent to the wrong address for so long it went to collections. I set up autopay for $50 a month and when I had to move, I called to change it to $25 got treated like some piece of trash. Finally got in on autopay for $25 a month. Three months ago my debit expired and I noticed the payment did not draft... Five days after that I CALLED THEM!!!!! and got told it was over due and they acted like it was my fault. I set up autopay again with my new card. I asked the guy what day it will autopay every month so I know he told me the 8th like if always had. Next month DID NOT DRAFT!!!!! a week over due they called me acting like I was some charlatan and telling me I had to pay the remaining balance in full. I said no I dont and I am broke until I get paid due to having to wait on reimbursement from conferences for my job. I have since called THREE times!!!! EVERY TIME I GET VOICE MAIL!!!! I leave one and they havent called back guess these jerks dont want my money after all.
Optimum Outcomes are frauds, schemers, scammers to name a few. I paid off accounts four months ago that are still shown on my credit. I asked for the deletion letters of each account about 10 different times from various reps to dispute the accouts on my credit. Each time I received the email, there is nothing on the encrypted PDF that shows proof that I paid off accounts. When you open these useless PDF files theres dialouge there, but no deletion letter! The fake deletion letter email has attachment 1 but you arent able to click on it. What? Then apparently, I had to have a supervisor by the name of Geoffrey Higgins to send me an unencrypted deletion letter, the letter that he sent me account numbers didnt match the account numbers on my credit. He sent me the deletion letter multiple times with the wrong account number! I feel robbed, the whole company is a scam. If you have anything in collections with them, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT, pay it through them!
These people have called us probably 35 to 40 times concerning a bill that we have never owed. My wife was injured at work and the injury was covered under workmans comp and was paid over two years ago and yet these people continue to harass us over a bill that has been paid and we were never responsible for. I rate them at zero stars.
I cant believe theres not an option for no stars. This place called for my fathers information with my phone number that was on file, and then got upset my father wasnt around when I simply asked why are you guys calling him. I help him handle a lot of his medical bills as he is no longer as capable after his last injury and these people wont allow me to help so that they can get what they want out of him.
These people do not follow through. I have twice set up automatic withdraw, and neither time has it worked. They are simply not responsible.
Im convinced that they hired panhandlers from New Bern Avenue to answer the phones. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced! Very rude, unprofessional, and exhausting to talk to.
Bad service and no help understand anything from this company.
Very rude & unprofessional. Every single month they say its set up on autodraft and every month they treat me like dirt when I have to call in to see why they didnt do the autodraft. I am reporting them to BBB & to the NC Attorney General!
The worst customer service Ive ever experienced...
This is a very bad company and very bad service. I already paid my all bills from my debit card. They are still calling for pay my bill. I called them about it they said we dont have any record of payment. What the hell?
How do you give a 0 star review?
Call multiple times a day when I ask who it is Thay get aggressiveScam company don’t trust
Im calling their corporate office tomorrow.
ALSIHA was extremely rude and hung up on me mid sentence because I was attempting to verify who she is prior to giving her my personal information.
I found their phone calls extremely frightening; I’ve told them I don’t give information to unknown companies or people over the phone and they keep calling anyway.
