Was looking for a Barber for my 2 year old son to give a nice clean cut. Daniel took him right away without an appointment and not only did he do a great job but was so patient and nice to him. I always used to take my son to kid cutting places and they always did a horrible job, I was very pleased to find this place it reminded me of back home.

This Barbershop is amazing! The customer service and quality of the haircuts is amazing. I think they have 8 barbers there and they are all skilled!! I highly recommend!!!

I decided to try this place out today 12-20-20 and I’m glad I did. Jose Ended up cutting my hair and he did an absolutely amazing job and he was extremely professional! I will definitely be back!!

Hands down the best haircut/fade Ive ever had. My wife is a Redken certified Master Hair Designer and was astonished at the work they did on my cranium. We take our four year old son there as well. Thank you Popeye and the team, you have a customer for life.

Great haircuts. Only issue that bothers me is that the youngest barber places his friends above customers, as he sees them right away versus those who have been waiting. Haircuts, once in the seat, are meticulous so they take a while. Best to make an appointment.

The atmosphere is cool and calm. Nothing but positive energy and good vibes. All stylists are A1 but Prada is my barber and must I say hes outstanding from a cut, to a shape up, to a line. He puts a hot towel on your face and cleans you up very well and makes you feel refreshed once youre finished.

1st time here tonight. Popeye did a great job. Will definitely be back

I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Prada “the barber” is horrible. And from what I witnessed from other chairs the cuts aren’t spectacular at all.

I called in advance to ask of we need appointments (clearly I was in a rush!) They said no...come at 10 so I told them I couldnt. Ill just go somewhere else. They said no its ok, come at 9 and see Popeye. Got there at 9..ended up waiting an hour (all fine until now). At 10, Popeye comes to.me and says Im after the next guy (who came in a half hour after me!!!!), I said nah and started to put on my coat...and he said his friend will be here in 2-3 minutes... After 15 minutes I left. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! NEVER GOING THERE AGAINResponse to their response:Im sorry based on some reviews, I dont think you have quality cuts. How about just owning up to the error? Stop accepting walk-ins and wasting time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best in Raleigh; no doubt! Sharp and precise cuts, I go to Popeye for my cut every Thursday. You can either call ahead or walk-in also to appoint. The name definitely lives up to its reputation.

Cut my preschooler sons hair while my husband sat in another chair and couldnt supervise and ended up cutting a chunk of my sons right eyebrow and last time they cut him on his ear. I dont even know why they went so close to his eyebrows. For kid haircuts the price is too expensive and the place is also not kid friendly at all so why have kid prices. This was the LAST time. I barely ever give bad reviews, but for my son I had to do it.

This place is legit. Took my two boys (ages 3 and 4) here and they hooked them up. Spot was clean, the barbers were professional, price was reasonable, and there was no wait time.

My sons got great cuts but I was in the shop for almost three hours. The barber Mr. Charlotte took too many breaks when he was cutting my sons head and I had a toddler that was so fussy by the time he got to his head that he did not want too cooperate..If you go in ask for popeye or Phasad because they were quick and thorough with their cuts.

I called and asked how long the wait was, I was told 2 mins. I showed up 5 mins later, and saw two people in the chairs. One was half finished and the other was getting his hairline spray painted on. Even if I misinterpreted 2 mins for 10 mins, I still sat there for 40 mins waiting and left without a haircut. This entire state is devoid of good customer service. The haircuts I watched looked legit, though I wont be returning.
