They did a great job on my car. Hey repaired my brakes, rotated tires and did oil change. Im so happy with my service. The older lady that did all the paperwork was very, very nice, and she called me to let me know my car was ready for pick up. I think this location is perfect because you can go to the mall while theyre working on your car. I totally recommend this place to have your car service.
There is one lady that always annoys me. She is very aggressive about upselling and I understand that might be part of her job but now everytime we come in, she has an attitude and doesnt say hi barely acknowledges us. She will basically tell you to sign the paperwork and walk away. Such an attitude. Love Mary though. Mary is the only reason we keep coming back especially since we live 40 minutes away and there are others places we can go.
The worst place to go these people are unprofessional they damaged my brakes and I paid almost $ 500.00
I have been a Sears automotive customer since 1975. Dependable, high quality products, great service.
They were shut down in Jacksonville nc
I can’t tell you how slow this business is. Expect at least 3HOURS before getting your vehicle back.My father and I went up to the Sears auto center to get a ship-to-store tire installation done.We made the appt for Friday and we got there at 10am and by the time we finished checking in, it was maybe 10:30. Mary was nice and said it would take about an hour and would give us a call when it’s ready. We got a call at 12:50 saying the truck is ready. Didn’t expect having to wait an additional hour and some change for the truck. The following day, one of the tires was leaking air and was completely flat. We didn’t notice it until after they closed so had to wait til Monday to give them a call.Called and spoke to Mary who mentioned she wouldn’t charge us the Tire Leak Fix. Which was nice of them to do. But when we arrived for our appt, at 10am, we didn’t get a notification of the tire being fixed until 1. So to fix a leak on ONE TIRE, took them 3HOURS.We won’t be using their services again since we found another tire to be leaking even after I’ve asked them to check all four tires when we returned the second time
No issues service was great
I worked with Xavier Miller who is incredibly thorough and efficient. Hechecked everything, told me when I would need to do the next type of service and gave me an estimate. He changed the oil, replaced the wiperblades, and rotated the tires. He has been taking care of my cars for years and I never have any complaints. He and Sears are a perfect place for car service.
Great service on a great battery!
Super and very friendly service
This Sears Auto Center at the triangle town center is awesome, surprisingly it was not crowded my wait time was good, Jim did an excellent job on the rotors, my car runs brand new. I am truly 100 percent satisfied. I will definitely tell all my friends and family about this experience and that the employees are always courteous and go above and beyond call of duty.
I have a warranty on my tires, They told me my rim was bent thats why my tire went flat they asked did I hit anything which I have not . The rim is probably bent because the tire went flat while I was driving. Long story short the technician put my spare tire back onto my car after he told me that my original tire didnt have a hole or leak . He said he was changing the rim out when I went back out I noticed my spare back on and he said he wasnt changing the tire. Poor Customer Service . I will not be buying anymore tires from Sears. If you cant get your tires fixed on a warrant what else are you supposed to do.
We rented a car from Avis and drove from Louisiana to North Carolina to visit my husbands friend in the hospital because we dont know how long he has left. We stopped by the mall to get him a gift and got gas before getting there. After shopping, we noticed the engine light was on. We called the local Avis numerous times and they never answered. We called Sears to make sure we had the right place and Ms. Sheeka answered the phone. I explained the entire situation and she listened, patiently bc we (I) was very nervous about driving after seeing that. She said to come by anyway so that she could at least steer me in the right direction rather than having to go to the airport Avis and that they (Avis) leaves early on Sundays. To make a long story short, she took a small machine, hooked it up to the car and said the code was a simple fix. We hadnt tightened the gas cap tight enough, embarrassing, but THE LIGHT WENT OUT! We are so thankful for her taking the time to help us. She declined a tip, but we wanted to let anybody that sees this know what a helpful woman she is. We made it back home safely and will be sure to visit Sears again when were in North Carolina.
My first time ever having my vehicle serviced by Sears and my experience was great. I had a 9:00am appointment to have new tires installed on my SUV and they were right on time. Kelvin was helpful and didn’t pressure me to purchase services that I didn’t need. He also went over recommendations for future services without being pushy. I was in and out in a little over an hour with no complaints. I will definitely be back for future services.
This past Wednesday regardless of COVID19, I visited sears for an oil change, I was impressed with the excellent service provided. The atmosphere was nice and friendly. I will definitely return COVID19 will not stop me from traveling 10 miles to the auto center at Triangle Town Center.
Ill admit the only reason I really went visits because I had an old Sears Gift Card and since the department stores near me had closed down I would have never have used it. They agreed to fit my car in on their schedule that day and was very kind to do it when I got there so I wouldnt have to come back and pick it up. Walked over to the mall and then when my car is ready they were extremely professional and had excellent customer service. The price was great too and to my surprise I got a couple months of XM radio because of my visit threw a letter in the mail! Im thoroughly enjoying it. I miss Sears
The service was very good. I had four tires replaced and it took roughly one hour. They also have me rebates that I wasnt aware of. The only downside is there was no WiFi available so I wasnt able to work.
The whole crew was extremely helpful with me fixing an issue from a previous auto shop. Very friendly staff and after realizing that my problem wasn’t what we thought, I wasn’t charged! The manager was super nice and refused to take my money because of it not being needed. Thanks so much guys!!
I purchased tires through Amazon and had them shipped to Sears Auto Center. Unfortunately, my bad luck kicked in and had several car issues that kept me from making my scheduled appointment. The ladies there were extremely helpful and calmed me down as I panicked on my car issues. Sheeka, LaTrice and Mary worked the schedule to ensure that I could still drop off my car and get new tires the next day. Im extremely thankful for their kindness and ability to move things around to ensure my vehicle was drive-able!
This place really came through for us. We were in town from Northern VA for a soccer tournament. While driving to the field Saturday at 0800 the temp gauge was going crazy. Clearly a significant issue. I figured the thermostat was shot. The challenge was, how am I going to get this fixed on a Sat in time to head 250 miles back home Sunday. I called 7 places with no luck. No techs working or closed or wee closing at noon. I was amazed, because in my hometown there would be a dozen places to service your car on a Saturday. I had pretty much given up. I figured I would add some coolant that was a little low and see what happened. At the end of the first game my wife found a Sears close to the filed. When we got there, they had service bays open. I explained, my situation and they took me right away. They were courteous and polite and most of all, open and willing to help. By the end of the second game at 1500, my car was done and ready to go for about 300.00 even. This place unknowingly saved me and extra night in town, both my wife and I missing work on Monday and my daughter missing school. What a relief. We made it home late Sunday night with no issues. Thank you, Sears.
If I could give NEGATIVE ZERO stars I would. Worst service ever... super long wait times. I paid $700 and they never did my alignment and made it seem like I was bothering them when I called a few days later to let them know. Their very callous, lackadaisical, unprofessional attitude and response almost threw me over the edge. I would NOT recommend this place. Run far, far, far AWAY! I now see why Sears is going out of business. Mary... oh gosh... she needs a customer service training class.I also like how management ONLY address good/nice comments but totally neglect poor comments. :(
Mary isnt the friendliest person and was not very personable. I asked her why she kept calling a $49.99 coupon -$20 off coupon. She continued referring to it as that, then when I asked her to explain it she seemed as if it was a hassle. However, she did break it down and I finally understood. THEN, I asked her for a military discount (being active military) and she scrutinized my ID more than she did my car. I surely hope this isnt the Sears way. This did not make me feel welcomed here. Before I forget, I asked if they could rotate my tires. And she told me the tread was too thin for them to rotate it. However, I believe she was mistaken. I would have appreciated if she wouldve assured me (the paying customer) that she would check with the mechanics. However, she did not. I come here often. Usually get friendly service from the lady with the blonde locks. This time I wasnt that fortunate.
Extremely disappointed with this business, had a 10am appointment, ordered tires two days prior to appointment date. Waited patiently, advised an hour later the tires did not arrive. In the future ask to physically see the tires before waiting. Employee informed me they would go get the tires in Durham, what is the point of an appointment if you will have to wait 3-4 hours for two tires? I guess the business thinks this is the only place to purchase tires. Don’t assume the customer has all day to wait for the staff to get their act together.
Really appreciated professionalism of Mark/Mary/Sheeka at Sears Tire, Triangle Town Center. Thank you.
I took my car in to balance the two front wheels. They charged me a price which was higher than most of the competition. I decided to just go through with it instead of leaving. After they were through, I drove the car only to find out that no work was actually done. The same balance weights were still on the tire. They even tried to up sell me with two new tires. Im completely frustrated with the customer service and will not be using them again. Youre better off going somewhere else.
Sheeka is what makes this places run she knows alot and takes very good care of me she needs a raise and she puts up with alot of drama that she shouldnt have to put up with. While working to help us customers which is not her fault she needs a raise and she needs one now for her outstanding customer service skills
Mary was a complete joy to work with. I never had more than one person in front of me in line. She kindly taught me how to measure my tire tread. Im definitely going back to work with her.
Tight parking. Slow service
I came in for a small tire leak. I was told the repair would take 30-45 minutes. An hour later I went looking for an employee to find out how much longer I would need to wait. They said I would be put in the garage next--meaning they hadnt started yet.30 minutes later they said they had inspected the tire completely and there was no leak. The customer service manager said the only thing left to try was to submerge the tire... Which is the first thing I thought they were going to try. He said it would take 5 minutes. 10 minutes later they said there was no leak in the tire. I walked out to the garage and we instantly spotted a small leak in the tire.I asked them how long it would take to fix it now that wed found it and was told half an hour. Since half an hour probably meant an hour or more, I decided to have them mark the leak and take my business elsewhere. Returning the keys to my hands took another 15 minutes.I told the customer service representative that I appreciated them finding the hole but the wait time was unpleasant. He told me I can complain all I want but they were over-worked and understaffed. That may be true, but I would expect an honest estimate so I know to try somewhere else or come back later. In summary: A 30 minute estimate was given. Two hours wait and my problem is not fixed. Feedback to the employees was not well received. Time estimates and expectation of service was just way off. Please do not take your vehicle here.
Slow as molasses! Very kind, but I would have paid extra for faster service. Correction: Slower than molasses. Took 3 hours to do a half hour job.
Great service, awesome staff and they were very helpful.
I needed another die hard battery for my car so I went to Sears today. I arrived at 5:55. I didnt know that they were closing at 6:00. Kelvin Lewis was nice and professional and even though they were about to close he decided to still service my vehicle and install my battery. He didnt have to so that so thanks
Tried to upsell me for stuff I just had done 6 months ago
Took my vehicle in for a oil change. Was in and out fairly fast. When tried to do review via emailed receipt wouldnt go through. Looking at final invoice, car make and model totally different. Tried calling the customer service number listed, got Charlie whom didnt speak English very well. He was very rude and kept insisting I call the local store that he couldnt do anything. I dont want anything from them (certainly not after my experience there and on the phone), I only wanted to give them my review. Not the reason for calling. NOW, the reason for calling - talk about the service at the Auto Center. Person who checked me in very nice and polite. PROBLEM came in when they told me that I needed a list of things. Alignment, air and cabin filter replacement, tuneup fuel system, coolant. The TWO I have problems with are the cabin filter at a cost of $20.00 and $25.00 installation fee - $45.00? I was told this is due to the fact it is located behind the glove box and hard to get to. I researched it and found out it is not behind the glove box, it is by the gas pedal. Went to Auto Zone, purchased it for $10.00 replaced it myself in 10 minutes. Also picked up the air filter for under half the price they quoted as well. Did not feel out of alignment so took it to another merchant to check out, no alignment needed. I feel they were not honest with me and for that reason, I do not plan on returning and will let my friends and family know of my experience.
This is the worst service I have ever had. Took my 2010 Toyota Matrix there today for tires. Somehow, all 4 of my tire pressure sensors ended up broken. Convenient that it wasnt their fault. Every time I spoke with someone about this matter, the story changed. Paul, Quintell and Charles all told different stories. They refused to offer an acceptable solution that didnt involve me paying over $400 for their mistake. If you break something, own it. I have no tolerance for I company that cant stand behind their work. I would not recommend taking your vehicle there for any service. If they can make tires $400 more expensive, I hate to think what they would do if I needed an actual repair. I could not be more upset with this service
Super friendly and even helped me past closing time with an battery that was under warranty. Very helpful.
This place is nice at the first impression, but when your gets in, they find a way to tell you all things needed to be fixed on your car and end up by empting your pockets, almost of suggested repairs are NOT needed. Bad mechanics especially the manager who allows things like that to be done!!! Oohh, may be that what he is paid for, ..., Unless him and his technicians are NOT qualified to do assessment. My car need one bolt on break calliper, they ended up by replacing my new rotor which was replaced 4 days before, said they drained break fluid which they did not, ...,KNOW WHAT YOU NEED TO BE DONE ON YOUR CAR BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR CAR AT THIS PLACE AND CHECK THE WORK SAID WAS PERFORMED AS SOON YOU GET YOUR CAR BACK.Very ridiculous 😡😠 work, and I wonder why this place has a very poor rating.
I called a week ahead and scheduled an 8AM Saturday appointment for oil change and tire alignment. When I arrived there were four other people with the same time appointment and only one staff member available to service them.I expected a long wait time, so I asked them to call me when they were finished. I went out on the town and called them three hours later to check on things. They have been very nice, but had to apologize for not calling me back even though my car was already finished.I arrived and it was indeed finished, but it appears that they passed the alignment with no changes. I know, from driving my car, that the wheel is cocked to the left. I suppose I was expecting them to fix that as part of an alignment but now Im not so sure..Ive been waiting on them to check on it for a few minutes now but Im just tired of waiting. For the number of customers they are receiving, they should have more staff on hand.
I love Sears Auto Center. I read the reviews and it seems that people are disgruntled about stuff that is out of the hands of the hard working staff. Overworked...because everyone wants something for nothing. Wait time...because the only thing that matters is their car or whatnot. Pricing...because you cant afford to do simple maintenance and when it finally breaks, its not the owners fault. Xavier, Sheeka and Mary have ALWAYS been upfront with me about my car. Ive been to Crabtree, Northgate and now Triangle Town Center because that is where they are. Im going to keep going where they go because I trust them. Grow up people.
This place is absolutely horrible and I will never go back! They staff is ghetto and unprofessional to start with. I booked a 10:30am appointment to have a thermostat replaced in my vehicle. Understanding that it was a 3.5 hour job I left my vehicle. I came back at 4pm and they had not even started on my car. I brought it to the manager (Kevin) attention and he could care less. He was rude which is why the employees are rude. It’s the worst place ever. I won’t even let them give me a free oil change!
Installed new tires on the SUV and serviced the car a few days later. Great service!
This auto repair shop is understaffed and you should not go here. The time to complete a simple oil change was unacceptable. It took so long that despite having an appointment, I had to get a ride home and pick the car up the next day. Two other groups in the waiting room had been waiting for over four hours. In addition, the shop did not rotate the tires as requested.
I would not come here again if It was free, very rude employees and long wait times. No wonder sears is going under. You will have better luck and service going to the dealership your car is from
Kelvin and Jim they are best they fix my car .. Got help I need .. Mow I can drive safe ....
Have been going here 5+ years for tires. Never again. Extremely poor management. You talk to 6 different people before you get your car back. They broke pressure sensor installing new tires and it created noisy ride. Also did not balance tires correctly. When first picking up car, pressure sensor was stuck on; they took car back in and expected us to wait for a mechanic to be available. Indifferent management, one mechanic in particular who is known for poor performance. I made 4 trips back to the store to get the problem corrected; each time they acted like they knew nothing about me even though I had all the paperwork and explained everything from start to finish. Zero customer service.
Bought a Groupon code for a $59.99 four wheel six month alignment. Was told on the phone that I didn’t need to make an appointment, which Groupon app said to make an appointment. I called the store they said they didn’t have anybody there and I can come right in that would get me in right away. I got up there 30 minutes later, which is the time I told them on the phone, and had to wait for over an hour. Then they did the alignment on my car. Staff was not professional. Then try to charge me an additional $3.50. Which normally isn’t a big deal, it’s not the money, it’s the principle. I had already paid for the service. They tried to call it a shop fee. This is not what I remember Sears used to be like. It just happened to be a day where I didn’t have my cash or debit card on me, I had planned on going to the tra it just happened to be a day where I didn’t have my cash or debit card on me. I offered to drive 8 miles home and bring back for $3.50. And she said we don’t do credit. All for $3.50, for a shop fee they don’t advertise on Groupon. I could’ve went to other stores for cheaper on a four wheel alignment. But I normally go to Sears because they used to have good customer service. And normally stand behind their work. But this place was ghetto and unprofessional
Very long wait and they do honor coupons as it is stayed. Read every little fine print!
I came here for a routine oil change and regular check-up of batteries and tires. They gave me ticks for everything. I was going for a long drive the next day and my batteries werent working. I had to buy a battery on the next day I got it checked from Sears. Personally, I will never go back to Sears. The place in 1 word is horrible.
This is first time I planned visiting Sears Auto Center for an Oil Change .On July 20, at 3.30 or so I called up the Sears Auto Center to get an appointment at 5.30 that evening. The guy said 5.30 slot is available and it was ok for me to drop the vehicle at their station. After I reached the station, I was told that there were many cars in the pipeline and there was only one technician available... he asked me to return back the next day. It was not possible for me on the next day and I called them back on July 25 and asked for an appointment at 5.30 again. I insisted the guy to confirm the 5.30 appointment and I explained him the things happened on July 20. To my shock, the story repeated!! I was again told that they had more cars to work on and less technicians.. the technicians were over loaded...I am not going to Sears again..Pls note that this review is purely based on my experience at Sears Auto Raleigh. And 1 start because I cannot give 0.
Had an 8 o’clock scheduled appointment, car was taken in at 0805a and I was out by 0900a. Very professional. Early bird gets the worm 🐛. Living social coupon used.
This place is terrible. I will NEVER go back. Worst service I have experienced in many years. After making an appointment. I took my car in to diagnose a problem. My car sat there for the entire day without being worked on, though I called three times during the day and told it was being looked at currently and I would get a call back soon. Finally, I called at the end of the day as the shop was closing, and was told it hadnt been looked at yet. The guy was even rude when I asked why not. I told him to forget it and picked up my car.
This is the worst place you could go. Dont bother making an appointment because you wont get done any faster. At one visit we had a tie rod done 2 weeks ago, the tech said the vehicle needed a part in order to align the vehicle correctly but it was drivable. We got in it and the steering wheel was completely side ways to drive straight. We went in 2 weeks later with the correct part to fix the alignment and were told they didnt actually need the part. So we got in to leave and they had unplugged the monitor and csp5 switch from the obd2. Then, we had to stop on the interstate because the hood was moving. I dont know why you need to pop the hood to do an alignment but thanks for closing it when you were done, not!!...And the truck still isnt aligned correctly.
Professional, courteous service. Went in for an oil change Sunday morning and had me out within an hour.
Good pricing for basic services
Under staffed and over-worked--wait times are absurd, work is done hastily. I cant fault the staff, they were doing the best they can with the people they have, but I would recommend avoiding this location--at least until the poor guys get some extra help!
Waited here for HOURS on something that should’ve taken half an hour MAX to do. This is nuts. I’d suggest you go somewhere else for any service.
Boy they slow at checkin and checkout. My last visit I stood in line for 30 minutes.
Ive been here a couple times. Every time has been for an oil change. Even with having an appointment I havent had it done quicker than an hour and a half. Just two days ago my wife got her oil changed and drove the car home. The next day I went to go get the annual state inspection done. As I was driving the car I noticed it was louder than usual so I pulled over and popped the hood. I was so apauled at what I saw. Whoever changed her oil never put the cap back on and oil prayed everywhere. I called them and they said to bring my car in and they would fix and clean everything (which they did). My big problem is they told me it would be 45 until everything with my car was done. I called them an hour and thirty minutes later and the guy I was talkin to said it would be another hour. Keep in mind Im walking around the triangle mall with my two year old and his nap time is at 1 PM, its now 3:30 PM by the time they finished... This was their mistake so I shouldnt have to wait on them anymore, I got upset and when I did the guy told me my car was done and ready (why couldnt he have said that to begin with). Long story short I was really happy with the company in Ohio but its complete crap in raleigh nc and we will not be coming back here again.
I was told my oil change would take an hour but it took an hour and a half. I noticed my car being pulled out of the bay so I waited for someone to come get me and let me know my car was ready. Instead I hear all kinds of laughter and conversation from the back waiting room. I had to go out front and see my car waiting in front of the building. One associate asks another Is that her car? Then they had the nerve to give me the wrong keys. When I get into my car I noticed the technician left oily film all over my steering wheel and dash board. Had it not been for the coupon I received prior to the service i would have gone to where I normally frequent, needless to say, I will not be back. No need for the $10 off your next service coupon.
Mary didnt follow up with ordering parts for my car when she said she would..
Visiting today for battery replacement and brake check.Customer service is excellent and technical support is outstanding. Will visit again.
The absolute worst. I see why they are on groupon begging people to get service. They need to shut this place down and open a Young Ecclesia Apparel store! I scheduled an appointment and its 2 hrs later and my car is not finished! You will get faster service from a staff of turtles in Chick fil a on a Sunday afternoon. Horrible.
I have not had a bad experience. Just long wait times after 4
I have been using Sears auto for many years at different locations but this location is the worst. They give you over price so you would go somewhere else, even though prices available online.
Ordered tires through Amazon, delivered to Sears for installation. Saved about $200.
Very nice manager Sam made the experience great for us, we asked the mechanics questions on the service and they were nice and explained it so we could understand, the only bad part of the visit was the assistant manager Kevin he seemed angry and annoyed at not only the mechanics but also the other customers
Good battery and tires
Hit and miss with this place. Sometimes they will take the entire day to service your car or sometimes only an hour. More often than not the entire day. Customer service is okay. Make an appointment and then have someone pick you up so youre not waiting there.
Went there for an oil change and rotation, they didnt rotate the tires.
The worst places ever to go will never use sears again
Great staff
Services is horrible
