I called Southern Mechanical because I was tired of working with big, expensive, impersonal HVAC vendors. When I was told that I needed to replace my heat pump for $6,800, I called several other vendors to get second opinions. I had read glowing reviews about Southern Mechanical and was pleasantly surprised when Clint answered the phone personally. He came over the next day, gave me his take on the heat pump, and encouraged me to consider repair over replacement. His quote was reasonable and best of all if the the repair failed hed credit me his time towards a new system. He thought it was worth the gamble to save money in the short term. Clint and Tyler came back and did their best to make the repair but in the end, the system did need to be replaced. After 2 visits Clint walked away and didnt charge me a dime. Big HVAC vendors have more purchasing power so their quote for replacement was several hundred dollars less but in the end it will be Clint who I ask to help me with maintenance as well as any future work. Ive worked with several HVAC contractors and have yet to meet someone like Clint. Hard working, smart, experienced, honest, I cant recommend these folks more.

I used Southern Mechanical Services for assistance with our HVAC system. Our AC stopped working this summer and they came out same day to fix the issue and they price the repair fairly. We have since schedule a maintenance for this fall for our heating system.

Clint made sure he was here the same day I needed him. As it turned out, I couldnt have anything done, so he didnt charge me. Who does that? True, I was an established customer, but it shows he isnt interested in making empty profit, but loyal customers.
