Technician was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was also very nice. When we called needed repairs, Sears came out very soon.We like using Sears repair.
Ray did great with the work. Was helpful in explaining things too. But 2 days afterward the laundry area still smelled of cigarette smoke from his clothes. He didnt smoke on site of course! and i didnt think it was that bad on him, until after he left.
Good advice given. Thanks
Had treadmill repair. Tech quite knowledgeable and fixed the problem happy with the service .
Wonderful~! Very helpful and professional~! I recommend Sears Appliance Repair.
Total failure. Needed replacement part, and Sears never got back to us -- apparently the part isnt made anymore. So we are out of luck, with an unusable treadmill, despite having a service agreement.Very unhappy,
I wish they would give some advance notice for what time they will be arriving. The 8:00am-5:00pm window is too large for working people who work a long distance from home.I was also told I would get reimbursed for spoiled food because it took them more than a month to fit me into their schedule. I created an itemized list of the foods that spoiled and looked up purchasing prices. However I have not been reimbursed!!!
The service repair man was great. He was on time and kept me informed of what he was doing and what could happen. Unfortunately what he said could happen did. The panel cracked when he was reassembling the TV. To me that was an unavoidable event due to the design of the panel. He confirmed that the TV would be replaced, that I would receive a phone call within Forty eight hours concerning a replacement which happened. I did receive a phone call and was told that a new TV will be delivered in three to five days. I have attempted to call and get an exact delivery date and have not been successful. I have patiently dealt with this issue for three months and I assure you I normally am not that patient and I must say that it is very obvious as to why Sears in in trouble. With the length of time that it takes for service. It is very clear that after the sale Sears could care less about the customer. I believe that statement to be absolutely true especially from the corporate management part of the business. Three month to resolve any service issue is totally unacceptable by any standard. I truly hope that stating how I feel does not have an affects on the delivery of the replacement. I still would like to have an accurate delivery date.
Not happy we have waited all day for are dryer to get here, and it is now 9pm and they are still not here, they said we were next but that was at 7pm Im not happy at all when you say you will be here between those hours thats what you do!!! I understand stuff happens but you could at least notify and let us know you cant make it or it will be the next day
Repairmen have been great, however the extended warranty part has been a nightmare. Jumping thru hoops trying to get a dishwasher replaced as they cant get it fixed in the past 5 services! (between the hours of 8-4)
The problem was NOT fixed and I had to make yet another appointment. I am tired of not being able to use my appliance--and of how LONG it takes to reach customer service and how LONG it takes to get an appointment. The last one kept getting changed. I have a maintenance contract on this appliance and have always been so happy with Sears service. Not this time. I am hoping for better things when the next repairman arrives.
The person that came out to install the new part was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately the refrig still does not work. 5 new part instilled and still no ice maker
Technician professional, knowledgeable, and on time. He gets an A+. The price charged by Sears is really out of line. It cost nearly $200 to have a new battery put in my riding mower. The same class battery (but with higher ratings by various consumer testing publications) is $22 at Wal Mart!
Technician arrived exactly on time, was friendly and concerned and went about fixing the problems. He had all the tools and equipment, including a van-mounted hoist, and there was no doubt that he knew what he was doing. In about an hour he had my tractor running as good as new and he was on his way. I was delighted.
Its dead
Once again, you folks did well. Prompt courteous service setting the appointment up on the phone, prompt, quick service call time from the date of us calling you and the serviceman was very thorough, got everything fixed in a minimum amount of time. Once it was fixed, he continued to search for any more problems and buttoned it up, it is just like new. Very satisfied, you folks do well and once again did a good job for us from start to finish. Thank you. Don Schieferdecker
Jeff was our technician. Friendly, fast and efficient. He called on the service date and gave us a heads up on arrival time. Good communicator and highly competent.
Could not have asked for a more professional acting service person.... polite, sincere, knowledgeable..... a pleasure to have in our home.
Service Tech was timely and considerate but the issue was not fixed and I had to call back to schedule another service call to look at my refrigerator again. The person who took the call the second time was rude
No more sears
When I made the appointment I told them I needed two new knobs. They did not bring them with and ordered them to be delivered to my house after my appointment was done. When I went to pop the new knob on, the inside connecting part fell into the back of the dryer which required another appointment to have them come back at again. They are all too pricey. For another $100, could have bought a brand new dryer.
Our Technician, David, was great. He was on time and wasted no time in getting the problem solved. He ordered parts, which have arrived, and we wait for his return to install the needed parts. David has been to our home before for a repair. Again he was prompt and did his job very well.Thank you Sears and Thank you David.Paul and Colleen Wagner
Great service! Technician was polite, through and worked in a timely matter.Very pleased with service!!
Discovered that my washer was not shutting off when the cycle completed. Rather, it was starting the cycle over again. The date was 12/4/14. I immediately scheduled a service call (washer under warranty) which was not available until 12/18/14. The tech arrived, took the back panel off the machine, wiggled and adjusted one loose wire, and ran the cycle. At the end of the cycle the washer Completed. Said he had it fixed. That night I ran a load of laundry to make sure it was operating properly. I sat through the entire 47 minute cycle and the machine Completed the cycle. Satisfied, I went to bed without taking the clothes out of the washer. When I got up the next morning I discovered that the washer had been running all night, re-cycling over and over. If you didnt unplug the unit it continued to run. That morning I call Sears and asked that the tech return immediately and fix the problem that I had been waiting almost two weeks to be repaired. I was told that I would be at the end of the list and couldnt get a tech until Dec. 27, after the holidays and after a house full of people. Dec. 4 to Dec 27, that is over three weeks without the problem being rectified. I called Indiana, Texas and Arizona with no satisifaction. It was literally TO BAD SO SAD....SORRY FOR YOUR INCONVENIENCE I have sent at least three emails that went unanswered. I am pissed. This is POOR business practice and even worse service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It took 3 visits to complete the repair. The first visit was a diagnosis. Due to the nature of the problem, parts needed to be ordered and the repair could not be completed until they arrived. The second visit should have been the repair, however there was a problem on my end with the water shut-off.After the third visit we had a working dishwasher. The repair technician was wonderful to work with. He was courteous and friendly. The actual repair process was very successful.Had I not had to deal with the customer service folks on the phone, this would have been a 5-star review.
Solid response, and Ray was knowledgeable and conscientious.
Ron was excellent... He trouble shot the machine, and did his best to minimize the cost and waiting time to complete the repair...
Once again 8 to 5 service call. Cant give you enough notice to get off work with 8 to 12 or 1 to 5. So he shows up at 11:30 and doesnt have the part. Tells me that he would have been here at 8:00 but, we had requested an afternoon visit (we hadnt). Has to order the part and schedules us for the next Friday. Then we find out that next Friday is actually next next Fright and then moved to next next Thursday. So the part comes and we wait. After two calls trying to to get something a bit more specific timewise - I mean lets face it Comcast has between time estimates - we even tried to ask for an afternoon time and were told you cant request a time. So Im not sure how service guy 1 was told afternoon but, its not possible. So service guy 2 says 2:00 to 2:30 so I get here at 1:30. He finally shows up at 4:30 and the part that was sent was wrong and we once again wait. He told me that I could install the part myself and thats what Im looking at doing now because the service dates/time are a complete joke. I get that you cant say a week out when you will be there but, when you check the night before the service and you get told check again around 8:00am tomorrow, thats CRAP! We have a renew sheet now and Im thinking that its not worth renewing. You would think that with Sears in the shape its in customer service would mean something and it clearly doesnt. Wrong parts and people arriving later than planned; that happens from time to time. That said, not being able to give a timeframe more than oh sometime this day is horrible. Im not sure this would have even worked if my boss wasnt gone that day which allowed me to leave whenever I needed to. Not everyone can just take off work for entire day just so someone can come and spent 1/2 hour installing a part. Let me say again, Comcast has better service at this point and that should make you hang you head!!!!
Your technician addressed and fixed our dryer problem in a timely and professional manner.
The technician was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable.
Good experience.. Svc man did a great job
Tech was courteous and preformed the repair quickly
The service Guy was GREAT!!!! He showed me what he was doing, He was very friendly!!!!
It took a week for repair guy to come and look at washer then another 10 days to come fix. So 17 days without a washer wasnt reasonable with a family.
My appt was between 8-5. He showed up at 8 pm. Was there long enough to say I am using to much soap and left. So what am I suppose to do cut the pods in half.
The dryer happen to be running again when they finally got here so they said they couldnt fix it because it wasnt broke second time Ive had him here Im tired of having clothes laying around my house drying because sears repair cant fix it unless its completely broke
Repairman very kind.
