August came out on super short notice to take care of bees we found in our microwave vent. He was super friendly and got right to business. I am so impressed with this company and will use them again.

Everyone is great. The owner (Shawn) even came out one time and he was so personable and nice we didn’t even know he was the owner until later in the conversation. The house we bought had a really bad ant problem and now we don’t see them in or around the house at all. Very highly recommended.

I called about fleas a dog brought into our home. They came out the next morning and treated the entire house throughly and at a more affordable price than other companies I called. We havent had any issues since. The technician was professional, kind, and informative. Would recommend to anyone!

We were having windows replaced and found ants in the window casing and the guys were getting stung by a hornets nest in the vents. They were the 5th company I called and explained our emergency; they had someone out within the next 3 hours.They were in contact with me the whole time, not confirming a credit card first or making sure they had a signed agreement, we had an emergency and they treated it like one. We signed up for their ongoing service and are more than happy and feel like they are taking care of us and our 5 acres.

Great service for a reasonable price. When they come out they always let me know before they arrive and when they have completed their work. They are always courteous and pleasant and timely complete the services.

Ive been doing business with this company since 2017. They do not require a contract. The respond very quickly, which is appreciated when you have a rat problem.

Thought we may have birds nesting in our dryer vent. Contacted modern, and they had Braiden and Bon come out first thing the following morning. They inspected the vent and determined that birds had indeed been tampering with my vent slats, but never actually penetrated into the vent. For good measure, they added mesh to the vent opening to deter the birds from trying. Not only did they inspect the vent we were concerned about, but they also inspected all the others on the house for good measure. They informed me that if for some reason the bird did make it through the mesh they installed that they would come back out and remedy the issue at no additional charge. No matter how long down the road it is. All the while being very personable. Felt like I was working with 2 close friends. That’s excellent warranty and customer service. Thanks guys.

They actually answer the phone, they got someone out the next day both times I called and they came back for free as promised when the ants returned a month and a half later. Bon and Braiden we’re both professional and extremely friendly and made dealing with ants actually a pleasant experience. We used modern pest control back when they were first starting out 4+ years ago. We had a great experience at first. Sean was amazing and had great prices. Once he got busier, we were no longer a priority as we were still at the quarterly introductory rate. We called several times requesting a follow up spray without a response. We gave up after 3-4 times of no callback. I gave 2 stars since initially the service was great, even referred them to neighbors. Now, I would NOT recommend them to anyone. Dont waste your time if you think they will come to respray between quarterly visits (Something he promised to us if we had wasps/ants return). Sad to see the quality go downhill.

Modern Pest Control was recommended by my next door neighbor - I was sharing a problem weve had with pigeons in our gutters and eaves... tired of hearing them mate outside my upstairs bedroom window when Im going to sleep... Neighbor had the same problem and Modern Pest Control fixed it.I called expecting to get a voicemail or answering service, but actually got a live person! She offered to have someone out 2 days later to inspect - the service person, Bon, showed up this morning at 10:30am (the window was 10am to 1pm). He walked around the property and assessed the situation, offered to get started right away. Bon talked me through the solution, showed me what hed constructed and then went to work. I dont want to give an exact price, but it was darn reasonable. When I first called and got the low/high range, it was $5 over the low.After Bon left, I was talking with the neighbor and he mentioned they came out for a hornet problem, outside of their original problem with pigeons, and they came out to fix it with no charge. These guys are all about relationships!Use. These. Guys. Again, great response time plus great price and absolutely great customer service. Their work is guaranteed - that was stressed, i.e. call us at any time. Doubt Ill ever need them again for this particular issue, but Ill call them in the future if additional issues arise and recommend them until I am blue in the face.

We can’t thank you enough. We are selling a house and another pest control company told us there was poop in the insulation and ALL of it needed to be replaced. But there was no insulation damage, hanging down and it didn’t show up on the inspection. We called Modern Pest Control and they gave it a look. Things started off great with this company but it feels like maybe its lost its touch/feeling of small company feel. We still very much like Sean and his company, but the employees sent to take care of our home arent as knowledgeable, or excited about bugs as Sean. We have been let down more times then we have felt satisfied over the last year and a half. It seems like they are just in it for a paycheck and not taking care of the customers. We will continue to support local business and stay with Sean as we have for the last 3 years.

Diagnosing wasps inside of your home is not easy. The techs came back every time I asked to help remedy the wasp problem. They were very calm, knowledgeable and compassionate in the midst of my own TERROR!!!! I’m glad to have these guys helping us out!!!

Our technician, Justice, was just here for our bi-monthly service. Super knowledgeable and kind young man. Very service-oriented. Weve had him here before and hes always great.One thing I really like about Modern Pest Control is their responsiveness. If we have an issue with anything pest related in between normal service visits, they are quick to get over here and take care of the bugs and/or critters. Love that about them. And, they always let me know when theyre on their way.

Bon was fantastic! I called on Saturday morning and he was at my house by 1pm. I had an horrible smell coming from under the house. He went under the house and pulled out a dead possum. I figured out how it got under the house and took care of that issue but if I ever have any other issues I would only call Modern Pest Control They were very professional and I like that it is a small family owned business.

I called them late in the evening as I could hear the hornets/wasps in the ceiling above my sons room and they were very active! As I’m allergic and have had past experience with them eating through a ceiling in a former house I was quite anxious!!! They called me back that night, almost immediately!! They had someone come out first thing the next morning to take care of the problem!! The peace of mind that gave me was priceless! I’d highly recommend them to ANYONE!!

Modern Pest control is a family owned business. I found them on the internet and read their reviews. I desperately needed an exterminator because rodents were now chewing their way into my house. We tried to get rid of them on our own and caught a few but this did not deter them. I finally decided I needed a professional but was worried about the price. Being a single mom and working for a non profit funds can get pretty tight. Modern Pest Control not only came out right away, but their pricing was affordable!! They came and set up traps outside that drew the rodents back outside. They were professional, quick, and the best thing is my son and I have not heard any movement since theyve been out!! They come out and check the boxes and refill when necessary. The next thing Ill have them do is fix the holes (the rodent entry ways). They even worked with me on my bill. I called my normal pest service to remove a bees nest. It took them a week to show up and then they werent able to do it (apparently they didnt have the proper equipment). So I called Modern Pest Control because they are local and they came out the very next day and had it taken care of in less than 5 minutes!! Honestly I’ve never dealt with infestation issues before, but Currently I’m in my yard while Justice is working to help! He is very kind, professional and seems knowledgeable on these issues. He is also following COVID guidelines with safe distancing away from me and has his N95 mask on which is fantastic as I have auto immune issues. Not that this matters, but incase people focus on appearance, his appearance is very professional for those wondering. Again that does not and should not matter. Justice also gave me a heads up on his arrival time within the two hour window as planned. I would definitely let people Know about this company. I will follow up with results. I did the out door rodent package with a bi-monthly follow up. I will review how things are working!

The individual that came out was very personable as well as informative. We were given a 2 hours window of his arrival and he was here right at the start of that window. We needed 5 bee hives taken care of and the guy who came out was very nice and explained the process. He said within 24-48 hrs the bees would be dead and sure enough I have not seen any bees near the hives. I also love the fact that they warranty the work for the rest of the year.

Absolutely outstanding service. We had a severe problem with nesting Polistes Wasps (Id mistakenly thought they were yellow jackets) in our cement tile roof. We discovered a rat issue under our home after also experiencing a horrible smell inside our home. I sent a message, late at night, and Sean got back to me and was out to my home the next day. They did a full walk of home and checked everything below and then shared and explained photo findings so I could really see and understand the issue. Very nice people and very nice company. Three years ago we unintentionally bought a house infested with rats and they got rid of them and have helped us keep them away. We recently also got a flea infestation in our home we think from visiting animals, and my car was also affected. Fleas love me so without animals in our house i was getting eaten alive! They treated our home and my car twice for fleas at no extra charge. The service was apparently included in our maintenance contract! So thankful to be flea free! Thank you!!

First off, it was 9:30 at night and Sean answered the phone. Thats 5 stars right there. We had a swarm of carpenter ants in our family room. They were coming from everywhere. Sean told me he could get a tech out this morning and who it would be. Noah got here about 9:30 this morning and sprayed the whole house inside and out. Both Sean and Noah were very sympathetic to our situation. Noah explained everything about the insecticide he was using. We also opted for the rodent station as we live on an acre and have field mice outside. I cant thank these guys enough for their great bedside manner and their prompt response to the problem. Wonderful company! I really appreciate the swift response to my yellow jacket problem. They were trying to eat their way into my house! Shawn came on very short notice to take care of a wasp nest that had been built up while me and my family were in vacation. He was at my residence within a few hours of my call and not only took care of my wasp nest but also shared some knowledge about them and ways I could prevent them as well as other common pest in the area, he was friendly and knowledgeable and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome!

We haven’t seen the results of the spray yet, but Justice was super nice and explained every step of the process. We saw a few spiders run for their lives in the garage while spraying and I hope that’s the last of them, but very happy to have had a professional come out and get the job done.
