Paul was absolutely amazing! He came in a timely manner in which he was so professional and was excellent as he was able to fix multiple things on our unit plus a couple of other things that were maybe a concern that I didnβt even think about! Heβs just such a wonderful person and is just an all around amazing person! This apartment complex is lucky to have him! ππthank you so much Paul for all that you do! I appreciate you so much!

From arrival to departure nothing but a pleasant experience! We were met with a warm and welcoming tone (the name escapes me-her husband is a firefighter fighter βΊοΈ) β¦ we exchanged few stories, she listened to what we wanted-we felt comfortable yet still professional manner. Then we met June, who took us on a tour of the grounds, shared knowledge of the facility and she exhibited class and warm.
June was an absolute pleasure working with!! She was extremely friendly and helpful.... River Trail was a nicely kept complex and their apartments are bright and spacious.... rent is affordable.... would recommend her and anyone looking for a great place to rent... go see June!! π
Im a general contractor that performs work on the property and Ive been very impressed with the management staff. The manager Jamie and her staff are always very considerate of the residents needs. From a contractors perspective its refreshing to do work for an apartment community that actually cares about its residents and also expects quality work at a fair price. No nickle-and-diming here and no cutting corners. Trust me, Ive worked for A LOT of apartment complexes, and this one does things right!
This has been by far the best experience for us with moving into an apartment. June helped us from day one with finding a layout that worked well for us, she was so patient and kind through the whole process! Our apartment was very clean and nice when we got our keys, there were no issues with anything. The customer service and apartments are easily 5 stars, I am excited to finally move in!

River Trail Maintenance Team was prompt and effective! Our dryer stopped working so I entered a work order late on Sunday evening. Paul and Team had the unit changed out to a brand new unit before Monday afternoon. I was fully expecting to have dryer lint all over the apartment due to the move out of the old unit but they cleaned up so after the job! We were thrilled with the job done by Paul and the River Trail Maintenance team.
June was very helpful with showing me and my family the facility. Sheβs was very professional, welcoming and she answered our questions down to the tee. We had such an amazing experience here at River Trail.
This has been my first apartment in 15 years. Iβm super happy with the updates they have made, the high ceilings and open space and the fact that I donβt feel like Iβm in an apartment. But then Iβm rudely reminded that I am when the dog below my unit barks all day while itβs owners are at work and no matter the amount complaining I do it doesnβt stop. My only downfall is the sound that is heard from below and above. Otherwise I really enjoy here.Maintenance has been great when Iβve needed things done and they are quick to get them done.The office was super helpful when I moved in and throughout. I had sold my house faster than expected and had so much happening and they were able to take care of me quickly. I have been grateful for all the office staff has done to make things smooth.Plus I love the location of my unit, canβt beat a field of deer.

The security gates work 50% of the time. The maintenance staff told me none of the cameras work after my car was broken into. They allowed a family with small kids and a dog to move in above me and my life is a living waterboarding now. Highly highly do not recommend.

First time moving from parents. They had the best looking apartment for my first home, great management, and fast responses.
These apartments are literally going to cause you more stress in your life than you need. Having a guest visit your place? Expect them to walk the distance to your apartment, also expect to receive a towing sticker within five minutes.The security gate? Pointless. Iβve seen it wide open 80% of the time. When it actually works and you try to call the number to open the gate, the phone rings once. You basically have to sit and wait for someone to exit the gate and open it for you.They advertise security cameras but when your car gets broken in to, cause it will. The cameras just stop working. If you look at most of them around the complex they are usually facing a wall.Security is nothing here, besides the parking attendance.Advice, donβt live here.
Im impressed by the housekeeper Jane. Ive often watched her carry heavy equipment up three flights of stairs. She is dedicated to making the apartments clean and welcoming for residents moving into their new homes.

We are going on 5 years of living at Rivertrail. It has had its ups and downs with employees and management. I feel like they are finally on the right track with the staff they have currently. Huge change in attitudes! So much nicer, more helpful, caring and way more prompt in their responses to any issues. It makes all the difference in the world in living here. Im not sure what role June has in the office, but she is very sweet, professional and helpful. And Paul is awesome in regard to quick responses with maintenance issues. Thank you to you both!
I have lived at River Trail for 2 years now. I love how close this is to Tacoma where I work but it feels far away from the actually city. The property is nice, plenty of parking and we have a garage also. My boyfriend and I have no issues. They office girls are nice and easy to email if there is an issue like with downstairs neighbors. But they moved out and things have been much better.

I have enjoyed my time living her. The office staff have been tentative to my requests and needs. During the lock down they were helpful and patient with me getting unemployment started. I would give 5 stars but the only reason I am at 4 stars in in the 3 years I have been here with rent increases i am paying a mortgage. Cost of living.
I have lived here almost two years & it has gone from not so great, to amazing. The girls they have in the office are always so helpful and nice! Iβve talked to or interacted with just about everyone in their staff & I am seeing lots of great changes! Attitudes are way better & they make you feel like they really care about you. The maintenance guys are all so respectful & they really get the job done. They are fast acting and on top of making sure their tenants are happy! Great place to live and call home!

I applied for an apartment at River Trail and I am very very pleased with the customer service from the ladies in the leasing office, from day one Merna was hands on with me and all my questions and very patient, then I met June and she was very polite when I called on the phone then I came in to drop paperwork off and she was very welcoming.
Do not move here! I canβt name not one problem that I have had since moving in here and I pay $1900 a month. I have an ant infestation, my dryer barely works, my oven didnβt work, my stove didnβt work, one of my toilets barely work. My fridge didnβt work the first two months of me living here. I have had nothing but bad experiences these apartments are cheaply built and they never want to replace anything always tryβs to fix it but fails. Iβm telling you do not waste your money here. Worst experience ever with an apartment.
I have lived at this complex for 6 months and have nothing but good words to say about the property and staff. The staff has always been helpful and professional in every encounter that I have had to make me feel respected. The maintenance team is always on the go around the property keeping it up and looking good.
We lived in the River Trail Apartments for over 4 years and, overall, our experience was positive and memorable. We enjoyed taking our daily walks, then stopping by the office for a visit (we have a, now, three-year-old). Myrna has always been a delight and has handled anything we needed with care. I been living here for three years and never had issues with anyone.My tools are protected even when i dont lock my doors.Everyone in that office are friendly and professional.I would definitely recommend moving here.Prices are fair and apartments are really comfortable.
My experiences living here have been good. My building was almost on fire 2 weeks ago and the manager (Jaime) was helping evacuate the building at 2 a.m. She offered to let us in the Addison Greens office. Luckily the building didnt start on fire. I called the next morning and spoke with Myra. She was sincere. I am grateful Jaime was there to help us.

When new management took over I was worried we were going to deal with a property manager that didnβt care and just wanted to get paid. I called with an issue and asked to speak with Jamie the new property manager who really took the time to listen to my issue and thoroughly explained everything to me and then took the time to ask how long I had lived here and if there was anything I wanted to see change that of course is reasonable and it was just nice to know that the new manger actually cares about her residents and how she can make things better, of course reasonable things.
I called to get some information about The apartments. I spoke with Jamie. She was very knowledgeable. I specifically called to hear about the amenities and reserved parking. She was personable and we talked about the COVID-19 restrictions. I will be stopping by next week for a tour. I am glad I will be able toDo that in person as many complexes are not giving in person tours. I hope Jamie will be my guide and I hope the rest of the staff is equally inviting. I know I amWriting this review early, but she really enticed me to come take a look and her can do attitude put the apartments at the top of my list. Customer service is more important to me than even amenities.
Me and my husband moved here from California. After calling several apartments, we found Myrna at River Trail. She was so generous with her kindness and understanding. She was the reason we decided to move to River Trail. We bought a house and have recently moved but we will hold River Trail and Myrna close to our hearts as they helped us feel like we were home again.
I lived here from 2015-2018. I had to move to take care of some family business. Moved back in September 2020. Myrna and Michelle made moving back very easy and problem free. The newly renovated apartment is amazing. Glad to be back.
Apartments here have been recently renovated and are rather nice, hardwood flooring and updated bathrooms and kitchen to. Staff here are very friendly and accommodating, I always feel as though my questions or issues are solved quickly. Cant give 5 stars though as I have had to call maintenance more than a few times, but never for something severe. Online requests are a big plus to as it makes them so much simpler.

I just moved to Puyallup from CA and found this place online. I rented without seeing anything but pictures online. I put in my application and 2 hours later was approved. It was a smooth process and the office staff are very organized. I needed maint to look at my dishwasher and he came by the same day and fixed the problem. Totally recommend. Good value, renovated unit and close to everything.
The only main issues I have is parking is not the best and when I go to call the office 9/10 times no one answers the phone. Or if they do and need to call me back, it never happens. The apartment itself is very lovely and the location is convenient for me.

The apartments themselves are great. The staff is wonderful. As for amenities and parking. They are far from being 5 star. Granted, Covid is causing the closing of all amenities, but we are still paying premium rates for rent and canβt utilize the amenities that are offered. Parking is a nightmare. Unless you have an assigned spot, all of the uncovered spots are usually taken by 4PM, so that only leaves available parking up by the office leaving residents to walk sometimes all the way to the rear of the complex. Even covered assigned spots are sometimes several buildings away from the building you live in.

*I PROMISE THIS IS WORTH THE READ* My roommate and I lived in these apartments for 2 years. I will say, Bonnie was great. She was always pleasant and kind to us. But in hindsight I wish we would have left after all the red flags the first year, but it was an ideal location for our work and families. My roommateβs car got vandalized multiple times and when asked about the security camera they advertise everywhereβ¦ there is one... facing their office, that is it. And on top of that the gate was consistently broken, so the βsecurityβ we thought we were getting was quickly proven to not exist. But hey, I can get over that. Then there were the noise complaints. We got one on the day we moved in, for moving furniture. Then, we got one on a day neither of us were home. When I brought this information to the apartment manager, with proof we both worked 12 hour shifts that day, I asked her for more information on what the complaint was about exactly. Loud music? Stomping? She was unable to give me it because it was not taken correctly? She then told me it can be hard to pinpoint noise because of the sound in the breeze ways? I told her it felt like it was just being blamed on us because we are two younger girls and that is the easy answer. She ended up saying it would be taken off our record. Once again, I can get over that. The fire alarms are extremely sensitive and go off over just about anything. Which would be nice in an actual fire, except for the times we had to call the fire department to come turn it off because they never got the alert from the alarm company.Fast forward a couple months, and we start to notice on all the exterior walls in our bedrooms have black marking on the ceilings where the studs are. Then we started noticing fruit flies in our light fixture and in the corners of the exterior walls. We are both EXCEPTIONALLY clean people. The only thing we could think was it was from moisture. We had a former apartment manger come and look at it and she told us it looked like some sort of water damage. On top of that, we found an actual water stain on the ceiling in the living room. The maintenance man come MULTIPLE times and told us it was just from βsoot from burning candlesβ. We never obsessively burned candles, we cut the wicks, put the lid on them to put them out, and it was on the CEILING, which are extremely high, not the walls. It did not add up. HE EVEN OFFERED TO PAINT OVER IT AND TOLD US IT WAS NOT A BIG DEAL. Finally, we got them to go in the attic. Once again, we were told nope, no water damage. But weirdly enough our buildings roofs were redone within a month. But the black marks remained on the ceiling, since he told us it was no big deal, we decided to live with it. I would also like to add they never got worse, if it were caused by candles, wouldnβt it get darker over time as we lit more candles?Everything was fine for a while. Then we moved out. My roommate moved to Colorado and I moved to King County, yet on our final move out paperwork the staff at river trail decided to put we moved out because of βMoney Issuesβ? This is completely inaccurate and, honestly, disrespectful to me. We made every payment in full and on time. We tried out best to be considerate of the apartment staff and understanding that things will not always be perfect. BUT THIS IS THE REAL KICKER. When getting our deposit back, we were charged over $300 for the cleaning of the βextreme soot from candle burningβ on the ceiling. The same problem the maintenance man told us was βno big dealβ. Long story short, these people are money hungry. They will run you for every penny you have. My advice? Do not live here. If you must, get everything in writing. They send you follow up emails on maintenance request that are blank, they never say what was fixed or what the issue was/is. At first, I thought it was no big deal but looking back, it seems it is so there is no paper trail.
Me and my fiance have been here 2 years. The new management has been a big change in how rent is paid. Paying online isnt my favorite. We love our apartment. Bonnie and Myrna have always been helpful. We plan to renew another year.

When looking for an apartment this is where youβd like to go. Myrna was excellent and has helped me and my wife throughout the process and the apartment was ready for us the next day! No hiccups and emailing and calling weβre phenomenal. Parking is hard at night sometimes coming from night shift but you can park just in front of the office. Simple, Easy, Fast, and Clean! π
Ive had a great move-in experience at River Trail. I was provided with a virtual tour of my apartment and had easy access to staff when I had questions. The office staff is very professional and paperwork was handled online. The apartment was totally ready for me. The complex is landscaped beautifully, and well cared for. Its a good home!
I am transitioning from the other side of the state, which is no easy task! But with help from Myrna I was able to make my move a little less stressful! Great staff! Cannot wait to be living here!

Just want to start off by saying I LOVE THESE APARTMENTS. The community is super quiet anytime of the day. The office staff are great at addressing issues and the manager is the best apartment manager I have experienced yet. Love the interior of the apartments and love how open it is. The only downside is on Wednesday mornings, the landscapers come and they rev up their lawn mowers right outside your window and they start at 8:30am. Just plan on not sleeping in on Wednesdays and prepare ahead with a noise making machine if you work nights and are asleep at that time.The positive of this though is that the grounds are well maintained. Ive renewed my lease for another year. That has never happened. Totally recommend these apartments. Best rental experience by far.

Ridiculous parking- you canβt back into spots. They assigned me a spot and itβs difficult to navigate without backing in. And guests from out of state canβt get into the gate.
