My girlfriend lives here and see seems to like it here they keeps the grounds picked up and she doesnt seem to have any complaints wish there were more visitor parking though
The reason why these are the best apartments to rent is that the property manager Danielle is simply the best. Anytime I ever had a problem she was quick to fix my issue. The apartments themselves are great for the price and are relatively clean and quiet. I lived in these apartments for 2 years and never had an issue with any of the other residents living there. I recommend that you check these apartments out.
Nice quiet place to live people around seem nice.
Parents like it its quiet and they allow smoking in the apartment yuk but made mom happy
These are older apartments but very clean and well maintained. There is almost no crime, very safe for the kids to go out and play. Great place to raise a family. We have lived here for over 5 years and have been amazed by the leasing management and team.
Still water apartments are honestly disappointing. Low price sure. but think about all the things that makes it such a low price. Puyallup is expensive as hell to live in. Makes you wonder why these apartments are so low price. Pretty much every utility in this house has broken at some point and its very clear the amount of effort they put into making this household as well as the appliances they put in. They are very cheap and obviously placed to cut costs. Our washer doesnt open all the way because there is a dryer bolted above our washer probably half a foot above it. with the washer door being held on by a magnet that was glued. As well as the dryer not drying clothes the way they should be. The washer soaks clothes instead of simply washing them. They come out sopping wet to the point that youre taking a shower taking them out. As well as our toilet and shower both leaking high amounts of water. Our windows are hardly insulated. We have mold in our window seal because the windows were clearly ignored when it came to making sure things are up to code. You can have the windows shut the entire time living here yet there will be hideous amounts of moisture on the inside. as well as just ways for rain water to get in causing those seals once again to mold over. Ive taken the time to clean and refurbish them as much as possible but it keeps happening. Our sink garbage disposal sounds like there is metal in there even though i have taken the time to make sure there is not. let alone sometimes it just wont work at all or will stay on if it does work. All Im saying is its probably best looking else where unless you want to live in a hell hole and are ABSOLUTELY desperate.
Great
I have lived here for a year and a half. The first 6months was okay but the office manager lost our lease and all of our info and she just was not good, never in the office. Since George has been here it has been AMAZING. He has been doing such a great job and he is so sweet! He is in the office when he says he will be there. The maintenance guys are amazing as well. I love living here!
Unfortunately we did not qualify to move in to the apartments but the young lady who runs the place was nothing but accommodating to our schedule. She came in at 6:15pm on Wednesday when she goes home at 5pm because my husband and I work until 5:30pm every day. The unit she showed us was spectacular as they had put a smelly candle thing and set up the entire unit with little trinkets and plates set on the counter and such. They really go above and beyond the norm for an apartment complex. There wasnt one time that we seen management not smiling. We had such a great experience with her and we are bummed that we did not qualify but I feel after seeing all of these bad reviews it was deserving to take some time and put my two cents in.
Lived here for 5 years. The management has changed a few times in that time. The current office staff is very friendly and they always handled repairs and complaints promptly.I lament that they took away plastic recycling, although its probably the tenants faults because no one else followed the rules against plastic bags. They have a compactor and cardboard recycling so trash is easy. They take good care of the outdoor pool. The construction is okay, on the cheap end, but recently repainted. The sound proofing is especially nice. Unless someone directly bumped a wall, I never heard a peep from my neighbors. Admittedly, I lived upstairs. My one big complaint is its so hard to get ahold of anyone outside of 9-5 on weekdays. The office is a little under staffed so even when I show up during office hours its a coin toss whether someone is there on the first try. I paid rent by having my bank automatically mail a check each month and when the check got lost in the mail a couple of times I had to take time off work to get them to cancel my eviction notice in person. In fairness, as soon as I reminded them of my lengthy record as a perfect tenant they always waived any late fees.My moveout date was a little past the first of the month and they kindly waived my rent for a couple days. I cleaned thoroughly, but long term damage had accumulated to the carpet and vinyl. They still refunded my entire deposit saying since I had been there so long those things were due for replacement anyway. Overall Im extremely happy with my time there, even if its missing a couple minor things.
Dont apply here they will just take your money and deny you. I spent 100$ just for them to tell me I cant move in for criminal history when their application says they dont discriminate. DONT GET SCAMMED LIKE ME
Newer apts and clean parking lot.
Staff is amazing! Especially George. Moving in went really well smooth and easy process. Peaceful and friendly place.
After almost not being able to get in here, I can easily say that this really is a good place to be. They took me in when they didnt have to, and could have given the apartment to someone else. That was really cool of them.Looking at other reviews on this site (some that gave low ratings), all I can say is that those people dont necessarily realize how lucky they have it here. There are other complexes within walking distance that are worse to live in than this place (and by a pretty substantial margin). Although, the nature of reviewing things online does offer opinions from both ends of the spectrum.... I guess Im just more of a positive person and happy to be living somewhere that will fix my leaky dishwasher or my broken thermostat free of charge...The location alone is amazing. Half mile (if that) to the fairgrounds, yet out of distance to have to deal with ALL of the traffic, close enough to walk downtown, or take a short drive there (approximately 3 minute drive using backroads), and its off the beaten path of the main roads that can take so long to maneuver around. On top of that, there is an Elementary school about 4 blocks away, and a Junior High about 2-3 blocks away. Easy for kids to walk to and from. Oh, and right by God Sam Hospital. Literally around the corner... I could keep going, but I digress...In all honesty, if you are someone who doesnt complain and whine about every little thing-- like your neighbors and how they act, for example-- this complex is AWESOME to be in, and the managers are really easy to talk to and get along with if you have a positive attitude and show that you care about them and the maintenance team. Oh, and youre NICE about the situation, whatever it may be.I hope my perspective and review helps bring you into Stillwater to take a look; and hopefully youll end up having the same experience I have so far, after almost a year.
Nice affordable living
I used to live here. They were wonderful apartnents.
Our apartment has minor issues which need to be addressed. We have a neighbor with a noisy import car, who warms his engine daily and the exhaust noise reverberates in our apartment. If I do not return by 4 or 4:30 p.m., parking becomes increasingly scarce--forcing me to park very far from our door, or utilize street parking. Our automatic outdoor lights usually turn on very late, and switch off before daybreak. Whenever the pool is open, noisy adolescents & young teens populate it and are a minor nuisance. Otherwise, we really like our manager, and the lot usually stays clean & tidy.
Used to be good but new manager its not a ppl person and dont even try to get e started how she treats or talk to the kids ...if you care and love your children stay way from here
As soon as I walked into the door, there was a strong smell very disturbing and before I can even say a word the assumed manager said he was busy and couldnt help us. So RUDE!!!! Didnt even have the courtesy to ask how he can help or atleast politely tell us he couldnt help us now. NEVER GOING BACK! HAVE NO RESPECT!!! Should get a new MANAGER !!!!
*** Update as of 01/25/2019. Same manager as previously posted. Still just as useless. Still does nothing she say she will. She gives you deadlines for things that need her attention and is never in the office. I have emailed the property owner in regards to the manager. DO NOT move to this property. The prices were also increased. These apartments are NOT worth the price they are asking. Not in the tiniest bit, please take my warning on that. The grounds are un-kept and dirty. Dog waste bins are not emptied regularly so people will throw the waste bags al over the ground (pictures taken and sent to property owner), people dont throw their garbage bags IN the compactor. They throw them all over the ground. She got rid of all recycling bins, so now all garbage and recycling is being piled outside the compactor. The apartments are trash now.We miss George. The manager as of 4/11/2018 is a joke. Does NOT do her job. Makes constant empty threats to “improve” the apartment community. Doesn’t take initiative. It’s a joke. Seriously.
Here its July and my husband I have been trying to get in since early in the year. There was a man at the time and I let him know what I wanted and he took my name and number to add to the waiting list. I called again on the 10th he said nothing was available (Just me being persistent.) New manager took over. Ive called her 3 times once a month and a different story. (My husband even tried calling) First time I called she said nothing was available and to call back on the 10th of the next month. I called her and she said the same thing. I mentioned the waiting list she said I should be on it..THEN this month I just called yesterday and asked again. I told her my frustration and that I have been calling every month and asked where I was on the waiting list because the other manager put me on it and she said that there was no waiting list when she started!!!! What BS!! Then she told me there was like 19 people on a waiting list for a 1 bedroom and 20+ for a 2 bedroom, because we are fine with either.. and what really frustrates me is I personally KNOW someone that lives there and has told me of people moving in or out. I call other places and they ask me to come in and check it out.. This place is ridiculous. Love the gal that lives there, and she says its quite nice but it really shouldnt be that hard 5 months.. to hear theres a new list what bs. I never complain or do reviews but seriously. EDIT: theres a new manager and she seems friendly hopefully we can get in!
