First time customer, they took me right in. Very friendly and courteous. I asked for a new set upon entering the salon. The manager said, oh no you’ll be fine with just a fill. Ok, fine. The next day my nails were bumpy, splochy and I noticed the shape was uneven. Stopped by on my way home from work, they were busy asked me to come back the next day. I did. Again I said, this is why I wanted a new set. The manager said it was done thick due to the blue powder. She said would you like a darker color. Sure, ok, so we did a darker color gel, to cover the blue powder. Loved the color. The next day my nails were peeling. Called, manager said come in after work. I did, I said this is why I wanted a new set, cause the blue is hard to cover up and I don’t like it. She repainted my nails again. I said thank you and left. Again the next day one started peeling and then two broke. I even apologize for having them redo my nails. While I appreciate the time and effort that was put in to fixing the problem. I don’t appreciate $45 on a service that should be done correct the first time.

Great nail shop! Very clean. I just moved here in January and very pleased. I get the spa pedi and gel polish and then the powder dip for nails. Pretty in purple this time. 😀

An unassuming storefront, but amazing, clean interior! They were so friendly and offer a wide range of services! The pedicures were astounding with plush chairs and competitive prices. Their acrylic work was fast and flawless. They even did custom nail art based on a pinterest picture! 10/10 would recommend!

Ive finally found a n nail salon that does good work.I ask for Haiho. He always takes his times make sure they are even and look good. I havent had a nail break once! They have gottena new studio and its so nicely decorateda and clean!♡.

My mom and I both had wonderful pedicures mom had a gel manicure and I had a fill and gel. Service was wonderful staff is very nice and the shop was spotless. We will definitely be back

The older lady named Que that did my Pedicure was a very sweet women. I will be requesting her again. Everyone in the nail place was super friendly and it was a very nice environment. I am picky about where I get my Pedicures done and also where I get my nails done. 💅 so far I like this place.

I had the best pedicure ever today! So glad I stopped into Elegant Nails, the Sunday hours are great bonus too as it’s my only day off. Casey did my full set and did a fabulous job, very impressed. The staff was so accommodating and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back

This family is amazing. They make you feel right at home. Im so happy that they got a new place and boy is it beautiful. Went and had a pedicure today and it was so amazing. Definitely feel like they went above and beyond. My boyfriend even loved it!

$35 for gel acrylics but apparently they charge an extra $5 for “medium length”. This was the length and shape I got without paying the $5. At this length I might as well have gotten a plain manicure. Not to mention the “extra $5” for nail length was not posted anywhere in the store and the manicurist told me this AFTER she had already glued my nails on. I got a pedicure as well and the manicurist did a very good job but he neglected to clip my nails and cut my cuticles. After paying cash for my visit I was told that they don’t give receipts for cash payers... Overall, not a great experience and I will not be returning.

I have tried other nail salons but Elegant Nails is the only one I like. They are the best.

So I just left Elegant nails of Port Charlotte and I’m incredibly disappointed. My husband and I both got manicure and I got a pedicure as well . . To start off with his nails are tough due to his trade of work but this is probably the worst manicure I’ve ever seen. They look the exact same as they did when we walked in. Neither one of us received a massage or cuticle clippings and all of my nails are a mess and crooked . I’m not sure if they just don’t know what their doing or if they just don’t care ... I 100% will NOT be returning nor will I EVER recommend.

I love doing my nails with Tina. She is awesome & friendly. I do gel powder dip, pedicure, & brows w/ her & so far its always been on fleek. They have a variety colors & the new location is a way upgrade. I been coming here since I moved to Port Charlotte from NY & surprisingly its been a good experience. 💅🏼💜

Very good service but the price goes up every time I go there, from around forty dollars to fifty six dollars, not jels, in three visits.

Every pedicure comes with a hot stone and hot towel so thats nice. The actual nail painting isnt that bad but there are some errors that can be seen.

Had my nails done 4 times. Had nails break twice and last time I could feel heat from the file, he also hit my cuticle. Would not recommend.

Clean environment, polite and professional atmosphere

Usually very good service. Sometimes the language barrier is a problem. You have to speak up if the tech is not doing what you want. The woman who manages keeps her eyes and ears on whats happening. She has come over to help me when a tech doesnt understand what I am asking for. Ive tried other area nail salons, but come back because they are consistently better.

I went in and asked for a full set gel nails the guy sat me down told me it was 20 and 5 for the gel polish he began to do my nails and was only going to do gel nail polish after he put the base gel on and almost started the color i said um i asked for a fullset gel and the lady said they didnt have it so i asked for acrylic long story they charged me $40 just for acrylic over my own nail i didnt get fake nails just acrylic and color they also rushed threw them and my nails came out uneven... Very disappointed and will never go back

First time coming here and I’ve been to a lot of nail places and by far this has been the best there very clean and friendly and they do great work on fingernails and toe nails I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone that wants there nails done.

Horrible! Bad! The Gell polish came off the next day and I went to see if theyd fix it and they charged me $18 ! Then the day after they were fixed 3 nails fell off and the GEL polish came off my other nails! Ill never go back.

Rip off. Went there the other day with my mother in law and received terrible service. Not only did we call but we spoke in person about pricing. We were told $45 for a Mani and pedi each. They even showed us which colors of polish didnt cost extra, which is what we chose. The whole time everything was so rushed. Theres even Parts of my nails that werent painted. They even stopped in the middle of doing mine to go clip someones nails who came in way after us. At the end they gave us a total of $166! How? Well never go there again.

Ive been to many nail salons from venice to punta gorda. This is by far the best one Ive been to. I will be moving to North Port soon and will make the drive just for them. Beautiful nails and the best service.

First time there and they were awesome

I was visiting from out of state and my mom wanted to find a place to take my me and my grandpa for a spa day. I chose Elegant nails because of the number of amazing Yelp reviews. We dropped in the day before to schedule all 3 of us and were impressed with how tidy the place was and how friendly the staff was. Grandpa has long, scary nails and my mom has super dry heels. All 3 of us got to sit next to each other...I know that helped my grandpa feel more relaxed. If youve never had a mani or pedi, it can be really intimidating. My mom was afraid to go because she thought her feet were too ugly. I assured her that the techs are trained professionals. Qui was SO sweet with my grandpa, helping him into and out of his chair, taking his hand (he was so relaxed he was a little unsteady when standing up), and being SO gentle with his toes. She even helped him back into his socks and shoes...hes not so limber so this was a very thoughtful gesture. Hes really reserved and I thought hed never want to go again. To my delight, he asked to find out Quis name and we wrote it on a card so that he can ask for her again. Hes been talking about how great of an experience it was ever since, and Im hoping a family member will go at least once a month with Grandpa.Tony was the technician who did my moms feet. Shes had pedis before but this was her first gel pedi. He was so funny and professional. Mom said she hoped shed get someone who gave a good massage as she likes the deep tissue style, not the super gentle stuff. Tony was great.I didnt catch the name of the young woman technician who did my gel pedi, but she was fabulous and the massage almost put me to sleep, it was THAT RELAXING. They all wore gloves and used tools to wipe off the extra polish instead of using their fingernails...so I appreciated the extra measure of cleanliness. Our pedis all look great and I will DEFINITELY be back next time Im in town! Im so glad we found this place. Its a bit of a drive for us, but with such service, great prices, and attention to cleanliness, its totally worth it.
