I was introduced to this salon by a former coworker of mine who always looked on-pointe every single time she came back from having her hair done. She told me that she’s been going there for years and she would absolutely recommend them to everyone. My daughter had a very bad experience at a previous hairdresser, so I decided to give Illusions a try. She wanted her hair dyed a certain way and a certain color. She had her appointment, but the color turned out wrong and she was very upset. She didn’t say anything at the time because she didn’t know how to bring it up, so the next day I called and spoke with the owner Sonya. She herself was upset that my daughter didn’t say anything because she wanted her to be happy and would have done what she could have at the time to correct the issue. Sonya did exactly what every good business owner does, she scheduled my daughter to come back and made sure this time that everything was exactly the way my daughter wanted it to be. My daughter was so happy with the results that we went back to have her hair styled for her senior graduation pictures. Again, the results were fabulous. My daughter was beaming ear to ear. I cannot thank Sonya and the staff enough for turning my daughter’s bad experience into a good one and for continuing to provide excellent service. I would without a doubt recommend this salon to anyone and if you experience anything other than what you expected to let the staff know and they will go above and beyond to correct the situation. They strive for excellence, which is what I’ve come to expect from Illusions and I know you will too.

I highly recommend this salon!Today was my first time at this salon. Was immediately greeted by someone which is a plus.Natalie colored and cut my hair. I have short hair and really didn’t know what I wanted, but she immediately knew what to do. She did a fantastic color and cut! (and I’m very picky)I’ll definitely be going back! Thanks Natalie!

I was waiting for 30 minutes to get my haircut and when it began i explained to the gentleman how my hair shrinks and how it works and he started to wet it and cut at the area i wanted it to be when it was dry, so already it was way to short. not to mention it looked like her layered my hair which you never do with curly hair, and on top of that he was extremely aggressive and cut my hair in like 7 minutes after looking at a picture for like 30 seconds. The customer service is very good though. they gave me a refund and offered to try and fix it. unfortunately the only way to fix it is to buzz it though

Shelby is the best! Color is always tough with a stylist that is new to you. Tough on the stylist as well because they don’t know how YOUR hair will react. As a knowledgeable, experienced stylist, Shelby gave me exactly what I wanted and it looks fabulous! I am happy to say that I have found my stylist and I couldn’t be more pleased. I called up last minute on a Friday and they were able to get my daughter in for a full head of highlights. I was kind of hesitant because I had never had experience with the girl they put us with. My long term hair dresser moved to Austria 3 years ago and since I had been unable to find someone who actually knew how to color and style hair, until now. I called last week after a botched self inflicted box color hair dying incident. Red in all the wrong places, I came to see Emily who sympathized and proceeded to perform her magic. I now have golden brown hair with caramel highlights. My hair felt like straw and now it is silky soft. I endured a week of humiliation with the red, but now I have a home for my hair care. Thank you EMILY!!

Just moved here from out of state, needed eyebrows done, googled salons and this place came up. I walked in without calling or setting up an appointment, they got me right in. The friendly receptionist Shelby did my eyebrows, really took her time. Seriously they look the best I have EVER seen in my life, I mean why would I even bother to write a review unless I was overwhelmingly impressed???? Very nice place inside too, with that level of attention to detail Im sure every service they provide is excellent!

I liked my hair cut by Shelby. She used the razor very confidently and I will go back. The salon isnt fancy but from where I was sitting, it would seem that coloring was a speciality of the house.

Conveniently located and easy parking. I like that they carry Paul Mitchell products. Ask for Shelby, but they are all pros.

I had no problem here untill the stylist I had moved to another salon.The owner is rude and very unprofessional.I was told by my stylist that my grandma had left her earrings there and she left them in her drawer. Well when I called the salon they were no where to be found. I guess earrings have legs and just walk off and disapper. Well I asked the owner she started yelling on the phone and told me to stop accusing her and I never once did that I was simply asking because those earring were important to my grandma she got them from a friend who passed away. The owner told me no one has been in the stylist drawer since she has been gone for a few weeks so to my understanding they dont clean around there and they are a bunch of lying theives!!!!I will tell everyone who will listen to me DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!
