Nina is absolutely incredible!! I wanted something fun for my birthday and have been in love with periwinkle blue lately so we came up with this :) Coffin shape acrylic full set with periwinkle blue tips, she freehanded all of them and the length: shape are perfect for me. Couldn’t be happier, and she got me in within an hour of me calling for an appointment on a Saturday.

I love gel nails and spa - the staff is so friendly and they do a beautiful job on my acrylics every time! Also they play food network on the tv which is definitely a plus.

DO NOT GO HERE! I got a manicure and the lady kept missing my acrylic nail with the drill and drilled my SKIN multiple times, got dark nail polish all over my fingers. I decided to give them one last shot and booked a pedicure for 10 AM on Sunday. When I showed up the place was closed, lights off and doors locked because they don’t open until 11 AM!!! I called and spoke with the owner and she argued with me for a minute claiming she was there and waiting. Poor customer service and completely rude and unprofessional.

I never usually write reviews, but I had to write one for them. They are GREAT! They are so friendly and welcoming and do such a great job with their services, always making sure I’m satisfied with the outcome of my nails. Every time I go in, they offer me a cold drink or a mimosa (love that) and welcome me right as I step in the door. I went to Nina today and showed her a picture of nails that I saw online and no joke, she recreated them perfectly. They are so clean and especially during this pandemic, took the time to clean every surface down both before and after my appointment, which I appreciate. Their prices are pretty great, especially for the quality of their service. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them!

I was looking for a new place to get my nails done and was very fortunate to come across Gels Nails & Spa. They were very friendly. Nina did a fantastic job. I have to say it was one the BEST dip manicures I have had! Definitely going back!

I hardly ever feel the need to leave such a negative review but my experience was poor to say the least. My best friend and I decided to get our nails done as a birthday present for me. We didnt have to wait that long but there was a lot of confusion as to which nail technician would be working on who. We sat down side by side and one of the techs immediately went to work on her nails and I waited for another to come out until finally I asked if someone would be doing mine too. Finally, another tech came over but when I showed her what I thought was a basic acrylic tip style and design she looked confused and started speaking to the other tech. They looked at both of us and decided to switch seats. When our nails actually began to get worked on I felt like my service was being rushed while my friend next to me was getting hers done as a slower speed. We were thankful when we were offered mimosas though-I think this may have been the best part. I have only ever gotten my nails done twice before and it had been years so when the tech asked if I wanted to dip or polish, I wasnt sure and asked about the quality and price. The language seemed to hinder this but she was already bringing out the dip so I kept quiet. To end this story, my nails came out of poor quality. Three of the nails are on crooked, and I have black dip powder on the part that is supposed to be clear. My friend was also upset with her nails as she felt they looked like black teeth-both our nails are extremely odd shaped when we asked for square. When we checked out we were told the total was $110, $60 for mine and $50 for hers. We were so shocked we glanced at the price menu and I told the tech checking us out that the menu said our services should have been $33 a piece. She said no you $60, you $50. We asked them to explain why and again I believe the language barrier didnt help.I wont be going back as I dont like how the nails came out (extremely poor), the price I feel was astronomical and I needed better communication.EDITED: MY NAILS ARE ALREADY CHIPPING!!!

They were AMAZING! Fit me and a friend in last minute and stayed an hour past closing to make sure we were happy. Owner is very friendly. Highly recommend and will be coming back!

First and last time going to this nail salon. Went in for a gel fill in was told it was $33 dollars ended up charging me $40. The women doing my nails didn’t wear gloves until I asked her to please put them on (only put on one) meanwhile every other technician was wearing them. My pinky is so bumpy because she didn’t smooth it out. I’m missing polish on some nails. Don’t waste your time going to this place!

This was an insane experience...TWICE. Both times I went there my nails came out FAR from what was expected. The second chance I gave them, I ended up being there over an hour after the store closed because the THREE different nail ideas I had the woman couldnt figure out how to do. We eventually settled on two nails with black rhinestones on them, which she then covered in topcoat, making them look like disgusting blobs. I left tired and angry and came back the next day to have the blobs removed and painted plain black, but the lady used blue black instead of the pure black on the rest of my fingers AND accidentally painted over the wrong nail. NEVER AGAIN.

Everyone is nice. However my nails have bubbles in them. Both my fingers and my toes.

I went to this salon tonight with a friend of mine to get a set of acrylics. We had an appointment for 5pm, and when we walked in we asked to be seated together; they happily agreed. My friend was seated right away, while I was left to sit in the waiting room. A few walk ins were seated before me, and when I was finally seated I was sat on the opposite side of the room from my friend. The nail tech then asked what I wanted, and I replied “black almond shaped acrylics”. Long story short, I left with a plain black manicure, and the color would’ve been wrong too bad I not corrected the nail tech. I didn’t get to hangout with my friend and didn’t leave with the nails I asked for, which are the two things I wanted out of this excursion! I think these mistakes were due to the language barrier. I absolutely do not expect them to speak English as it’s their salon and I’m a guest in their space, but I do also think a nail tech should know the word “acrylic” and be able to fulfill basic nail related requests.Though the employees are skilled and the salon and tools are clean, the costumer service and communication were lacking. I do not think I’ll be returning.

They always take great care of me!

I wanted medium length fingernails and short on the thumbs. I wanted them oval shaped and I tried to get custom Cat eye coloring but they wouldn’t do it. Nothing went like planned. They cut my nails a good length but when I asked to go shorter just on my thumbs she started cutting them all down so that they were all short. Then filed them square...it was too late to fix that so I figured I’d just shrug it off and have them done later at a different place. These are the thickest acrylics Ive ever had and there’s weird lumps and corners where there shouldn’t be. I came here to relax and treat myself. But I felt rushed and ignored... will not go again.

Seen immediately. Nice people. I got a fair priced acrylic set. It looks almost 100%. There are a few mismatched nails but Im not worried about it. I recommend.

I’ve only visited this place twice, the first time was many years ago when it had different owners. I had a horrible experience and NEVER went back. That is however until my friend had her nails done here and I absolutely loved them. When she told me where she got them and it was new owners I knew I had to try it out. I went in yesterday and the place was booming! Such a fun but relaxing atmosphere and the staff are wonderful! I had Cindy she did my nails which I I haven’t had done since the last tragic experience. Well I must say Cindy did the most AMAZING job ever! Not only was she very gentle in doing it she is so very sweet and easy to talk to, willing to help decide what design if I wanted a design ect. I was so happy with the finished product I have now made this the ONLY place I will go and Miss Cindy will be who I see! Thank you to the entire team at Gel Nail and Spa your all absolutely amazing!And the prices for the quality is unbeatable!

This place has been renovated and is 100x better than it was before. Awesome gel manicure! Long hand massage, and clean tools. Will def be back. Only $30 for gel and it was quick!

I went to the salon one week ago to get a gel manicure; however, after 3 days the gel began to lift off. I will never come back here again not only because I am not satisfied with the service but also the attitude toward customers. Obviously, no one wants to waste their time and money to have an unprofessional manicurist done their nail and going back to get fixed. The young girl Jessica who looked and played with her phone most of the time while doing my nails. I felt like she couldnt care less about my nails. Bad service.

First time Id been here. No communication! The tech took under 10 minutes to do a full manicure. As I sat at the drying machine, she took off (lunch time, I guess). Another woman came and checked 2 nails on my left hand and said your dry, you can go. Two nails on my right hand where smudged before I got to my car. Within 3 days all my nails have chipped and Ive removed the polish. Never Again. Wasted my hard earned money!

Fantastic! I desperately needed a pedicure, but really didn’t feel like going for one tonight. I stopped in here anyhow and I am so happy that I did. I didn’t catch the name of the young man who performed my pedicure, but he was polite, kind, and absolutely meticulous.The salon itself is very neat, clean, and inviting.

Everyone was so very polite. The person that did my pedicure was very skilled and wonderful at her job but the person that did my nails wasnt as skilled though she was very nice. There were lumps in several of my nails and she couldnt seem to get them fixed.

Love this place! Very clean, attention to detail. I was blown away by how much selection in nail color too! Try the powder dip! Its life changing!

My nails and feet took almost 3 hours. My fingers and toes are absolutely killing me, every part of my experience was painful. And the next day, my acrylic nails are all peeling off and all the polish is bumpy and not sticking to my nails at all, feet and fingers.

While the salon is spacious and clean, and the staff are friendly enough despite making minimal conversation, the service is very slow. I had a 10:30 appointment and wasn’t even seated until noon despite walk ins being seated before me. My nail technician seemed distracted and hurt me twice with the nail grinder while she was looking away talking to her coworkers. Additionally, my nails are lumpy, rough and the polish is full of bubbles! Some areas you can see right through the color and one nail has a hair from the brush under the clear coat. I’ll have to pay to have them fixed elsewhere. Very disappointed and won’t be coming back!

Worst experience ever! Got acrylics done they could not have been worse. First of all, the lady did not shape nor file them down, so they are extremely chunky and thick. My real nails are also showing on the sides!! She didn’t put the cover my entire nail. I paid $43 for nails my 5 year sister could’ve done with better results. I’d give a zero if that was possible . You need to hire better trained staff. If I wanted nails like that I would’ve went to my local dollar tree and slap on a pair of stick on nails. But, even those would’ve been an upgrade...

Best nail salon I have ever been to and I have been to a lot! Went to get my nails filled yesterday and they did a fantastic job, the color selection was huge and the customer service was the best. I’ve been looking for 8 years for a place like this in the Seacoast area. I can’t wsit to go back for a pedicure!

I went twice for a fill and once for a pedicure. The pedicure was nice but quite fast. Dont get acrylics here. The first time one of my nails chipped off within 12 hours. Within the 2 week period 2 nails fell off. Went in for a fill again and the same thing happened. It looks very nice on the inside, but its a little more expensive then what Im used to and horrible quality. The workers are nice but i wont be returning

I actually dont understand why this place is so busy. I had a really rough pedicure that hurt my feet. I tried to communicate this with my technician, and was unable to do so- his coworkers had to intervene.

Cindy did a great job on my dip powder french manicure. 4 stars because sometimes the other techs rush to get done and the results are not 100% more like 90%. Still my nail salon of choice.

I had a French done on my nails! Woke up the next morning they were peeling off.Went back and they did them again..next day I go to my family gathering and they were yellow.So upset.I will never return..I shouldnt have to have a gel for nice looking nails they should look nice and last for more then three days..so disappointed.68 dollars later my nails look aweful.
