It was nice and they were great. I took my 6yr old in for his 1st hair cut ever! They were a friendly place to go and the people who work there is like a big family. They knew everyone who came in by name do they must be regular customers which is nice to see. My son is autistic and he usually freaks out about anything that has to do with touching his head, and he just sat there and had no problem at all letting s lady he didnt know cut his hair, and it was long and curly and pretty much had dreadlocks because he wouldnt let me brush his hair any more so it was time! It turned out great and he loved it and it only cost 20.00 for his hair cut.

Everyone is so nice here! I get my hair done with Connie and she is absolutely amazing! She always does a perfect job! I got my hair cut and colored on my birthday (Feb 12th) and it looks so good. I can always trust Connie to keep my hair looking its best! Its always so much fun coming in for my appointments, theres all kinds of awesome hair products available and Maggie the nail artist is such a sweetheart! The bathroom is always clean and everywhere is always tidy. I love coming here!!

Shelby did a great job on my hair. She got the color weave just right. She always listens to everything I say and works with me to get my haircut to my exact specifications. Which is a good thing. (I can be a little particular because I used to be a hairdresser myself).

I never write reviews, ok? I just dont. But Im kind of sick of texting best manicure of my life this is a game changer omg everyone go here RIGHT NOW to all my friends. This is more efficient.But now, the stuff you need to know: Maggie squeezed me in at absolutely the last minute for an emergency mani before a job interview. I was expecting just that, to feel squeezed in. Instead, she did a lovely, conscientious job. She even helped me pick and custom blend a color so my nails would look just right. I would honestly have been satisfied with a lot less, especially on short notice, and instead I got a fabulous mani with a scrub and paraffin, all for what I end up paying for just a polish change downtown.I cannot recommend this salon highly enough and I will for SURE be back.

I had an amazing first experience here at 50th Avenue Salon with Mika! I purchased a Groupon for a cut, color and style! I have (well now had) very long hair so finding and trusting a new stylist is always a little difficult. Since the Groupon was for an amazing price and the salon was literally minutes away from my neighborhood I thought, why not! Right when I walked in the salon I was warmly greeted by Mika! I told her that I wanted to cut about 7 inches off and color my hair one color (at the time I had an ombre.) I was very hesitant, my whole life Ive had long hair and also trusting a new stylist but Mika reassured that I was in good hands and she would make me look great! And that she did! I absolutely love my hair! It looks and feels so much healthier and its new and different! I always told myself I would never cut my hair short, now that its summer I am so glad I did! Not only did Mika do an amazing job on my hair but she was also a very open and inviting person to talk to. We had many great conversations during my service and she even recommended me some great products for me hair. Its A 10 and Big Sexy Hair Powder Play were the the two she used on my hair and I absolutely loved them so the next day I stopped by at Ulta and purchased them! I highly recommend visiting Mika for a haircut/color service! I am so glad I did! I will definitely see Mika in the future when I need a trim or color touch up. Thank you SOOOO much Mika for doing an awesome job on my hair and making me feel so welcome and comfortable for my first time at 50th Avenue Salon!

WORST PLACE TO GET EYEBROWS DONE AND ITS SO EXPENSIVE FOR NOTHING, My eyebrows are very messed up the lady didnt even brush or measure my eyebrows she just waxed what ever was there, it was so not welcoming it was just horrible awkward and bad
