Family owned business, I love it!Its not easy to find someone who can trim and line up a beard, trust me, Ive searched all over town and most places are over-priced and leave you underwhelmed.Mubzz did an incredible job at making me feel comfortable and giving me exactly the look Ive been searching high and low for.

The haircut & shave was excellent. all though its been three months & the shop owners are really great personable guys, they miss us / me & my son its been a long time coming for the guys & me and my Lil guy we had really good time. the service was excellent & we got to watch 30 for 30 futuring Bruce lee who was my favorite material artist growing up. the best whoever did it, so yeah. It was good to finely be able to return to the barber shop get our haircut & we all had a good time catching up on things like political views & religion ...so yeah we miss them & they missed us. all is well with there family & we had a great time, & of course i tipped my barber for the excellent service. My son has been getting his hair cut from them for 8 or 9 years now, ever since they first opened on 93rd and Foster. A barbershop for black hair was much needed in this neighborhood. They do great work. My reason for three stars is because there doesnt seem to be any set hours, there arent any posted on the door so I have no idea what days and times they are open. There is also no business phone so if you want a haircut you need to have one of the barbers phone numbers. They do take walk ins, but it could be a two hour wait if theyre busy. Its also cash only. Its a very relaxed vibe though and almost always great conversation. I do wish that they would mop their floors every day and make the seating area a little more comfortable. And have washrags available for wiping the hair clippings off of your face after a cut. Were loyal customers though. Those things are not a big deal, but worth mentioning.

Everyone is friendly and the barbers are all very skilled. Sometimes you might have to wait but calling ahead can prevent that. Best cuts in town!

I was provoked to write a review by one of the barbers in the shop. I will not use his name but he’s very aware of MY experience. I scheduled an appointment a day in advance with the barber through the Booksy app. The appointment was indeed confirm on his end and I never received anything stating that I need to call and reconfirm the appointment because of the holiday’s because he had confirmed the appointment. This was my first time going to the shop and getting my haircut with this barber. Fast Forward… I get to the barbershop walk in and let the other two barbers know that I had an appointment at 1. One of the barbers stated that “he knew I was coming at 1 and went to take somebody home”. I was early to my appointment so I patiently waited……… 15 minutes pass 30 minutes pass to the point the other barber had to call him to see how long he was going to be. When the barber arrived no apology was made for being late. I paid and went on my marry way. I decided to write a review on Booksy because him being late with no apology left a bad taste in my mouth. After I wrote the review he decided to text me after midnight trying to fake confront me about the review that I had left. The text were very unprofessional and borderline harassment and he stated that he still was not going to apologize. I guess he was mad about the 1 star…. heck even Chick-Fil-A has bad reviews just take the criticism and move on.
