I went to Lili last Monday and she did a fantastic job with my hair. I’m transitioning to gray and already had an ombré thing going on so I wasn’t sure what exactly I was asking for. Luckily she did. She also didn’t push products on me but did educate me on products and likely saved me from ruining the toner. Another plus is how personable and friendly she is. I usually get bad anxiety with a new stylist but I was completely comfortable. I’ll definitely keep seeing her. Thank you Lili!

Victoria is amazing. I went in with shoulder length hair and pictures of pixie cuts. She started with a bob to make sure I really, actually wanted a pixie (which is a great approach for such a dramatic change). She spent extra time, cutting it slowly and checking in with me at every stage to see if and where I wanted to go shorter. I was thrilled with the result. If you are considering a huge change and want someone who listens and will put in extra time to make sure you’re happy with the result, I can’t speak highly enough about Victoria’s approach. She is also helpful with product advice but not at all pushy about sales.

Kelz is a very talented and professional Barber and does some of the best fades in Portland. When Im in the city I wont let anyone else touch my hair. Went in yesterday for my first cut since the pandemic and all the COVID precautions were on point, I left feeling great once again!

My wifes hair looked great! Clean and covid friendly and everyone was very nice. Adrianne rocks!!! Nothing but praise!

I saw Jules Heron. They did a great job with my hair and we had a lovely time chatting. I loved that I could get a shampoo and scalp massage for $5 more. $40 for a good haircut is super cheap. Many payment options including venmo, cash, card. Easy appointment booking and availability. I really appreciate their Covid precautions which were thorough cleaning of surfaces, distanced stations and having customers and stylists both wash hands before appt.

I love Adrian- Ive been coming to her for years- Ill never let anyone else touch my hair. Her cuts and color are the best in the city. She makes sure to set real expectations so your hair doesnt get fried like it would by a discount stylist.

Tiffany is a great stylist. Before the appointment shell contact you to find out what youre looking for in the end result and what your hair looks like currently. Shell be sure to let you know any additional costs so theres no surprises at the end. I feel like this takes a lot of stress out of the appointment especially for new clients that worry a new stylist might not be able to do what your hoping for. Tiffany is very friendly and fun to chat with. Id highly recommend her to anyone looking for a professional color/highlight/ or cut without issues or damage. Also I wanted to add for anyone getting highlights or a deep conditioning she has Olaplex available for an additional add-on.

Adrian was absolutely amazing! I didnt have the best experience with a previous salon and was feeling not very confident and she did exactly what I wanted and beyond. She was upfront about costs at the beginning and was just awesome all around :)

I go to Victoria at Kelz and she is amazing! The location is super nice and comfy. All the hair dressers are super kind. MUCH BETTER THAN BISHOPS I PROMISE. Victoria always does an beyond amazing job. Last time i went in with really bleach damaged hair and i left with it feeling softer and healthier than it has been in many years, thanks to a really good cut and a damage repair treatment.

Kelz is the only place I get my hair done in Portland. Adrian is an amazing color specialist and stylist. If you want something original and some amazingly beautiful color Adrian is definitely your girl. Kelli does amazing styles for weddings and special occasions. Overall clean and super friendly staff. Highly recommend visiting them.

Best barber,stylist ever

Sam has been doing my hair for the past 3 years and I am always happy with it. He is my hair therapist! He saved me from a life of wine-drunk self- bang trims and box dye. Plus he is super sweet and is great at his job. I consistently get compliments on my haircuts and would recommend him to anyone.

I go see Krista at Kelz I have been going to see her for over a year and have had multiple treatments. I always go back because it always turns out great! I am a Blonde so it’s hard to find someone who does my hair how I like so I was super happy to find her.

I got my hair cut by Adrian and it was an amazing experience. She took the time to look listen to my ideas about what I wanted done to my hair and it turned out fantastic! Adrian is a great stylist and so sweet! The salon has a great atmosphere and everyone there was super friendly. 10/10 would and will be returning to Adrian for all my hair needs!

Adrian cuts my hair every 3 weeks and I wouldnt go to anyone else. Before her, I would go to Bishops and see whatever stylist I was assigned. I went to her a year and a half ago and havent been to Bishops since. She knows my hair and I always leave feeling sexy:) I have also seen her other clients and can tell she is gifted at alternative color. Her hair always looks amazing and she has a great personality. She uses a very easy booking site so I always get the appointment I want and can modify if needed without having to talk to anyone. She is very chill and makes you feel comfortable. I always recommend my friends to see her. ❤️ U Adrian! Thanks for all that you do!

A lovely salon with experienced, friendly beauticians. Tiffany is my favorite, I recieved great advice on how to maintain my look, and she worked with me to get the style I wanted in a way that would be easy to maintain. You also get a glass of wine or coffee to sip while youre getting your hair done. My only advice is to bring a photo of what you want, but thats my advice for all salons.

Adrian is the only person I will let touch my hair, after having bad experiences at other salons. She only uses top of the line product and is a color WIZARD. I showed her color samples and she gave me exactly what I wanted, vibrant galaxy hair fit for a space princess. I dont want someone who isnt passionate about hair working on my mane, and thats why I wont go anywhere else. 🦄🦄🦄

This review is for Adrian Cassidy an independent contractor at Kelz.My 14-year-old daughter went in with a Groupon and had an appointment with Adrian Cassidy and after being there for over 4 hours my daughter left with the worst dye job and absolutely nothing close to what she wanted. Her appointment was on February 23rd and Ive been trying to get in contact with the stylist or the owner for 2 days now with no response. At this point I would honestly advise anybody whos considering to go there make sure you do not sit in this stylus chair and this is not the first negative review that shes gotten. Why shes still allowed to work there is beyond me.My wife and I paid over $200 including tip and to have them treat us this way is truly an embarrassing blight for this business.My daughter went in wanting to get some colors out of her hair that she had tried at home and Adrian promised her that she could do this job without bleaching her hair and yet my daughter honestly looks like shes wearing a wig because of how bad this dye job is.

Paying 40 for a girl with scissors is too much for a mens haircut.There is no parking.3 times Ive come here and been asked to wait - even with an appointment - but when I miss an appointment I get billed!There is no front desk help, and no one offers your coffee or a beer like the other boutique places for this kind of price.You are billed by the styleseat app for using it. Basically youre paying for the privilege to bring your business here since there is no overhead on the shops part.Ive referred 2 other people and both have not gone back after trying once.The hours of the owner are extremely limited - each week it seems there is always a few days off - Im just not pleased with this place and wont be back -Ill go find abuse elsewhere.

Adrian is an artist! LOVE, love,love my balayage highlights. They are soft and natural and my hair is incredibly smooth and healthy. So happy to have found my new hairstylist!

Worst Salon Ever. Came out with uneven orange hair. Was supposed to have blonde highlights, wasn’t even near that. Some parts were fully dyed with no highlights and some parts had like 3 highlights. It was extremely bad. Worst experience ever ! No where near blonde. I went somewhere else and payed again to have it fixed because I could not go out like that ! It looked as if I did it myself! I’m glad the other Salon actually got bright blonde highlights on my hair ! I regret going here just threw my money away !

Apparently the open appointments on Tiffanys calendar arent real, or she just doesnt feel like honoring Groupons. I called the location to get a solid appointment scheduled but no one answered or ever called me back. I attempted to schedule another appointment and both were declined due to a conflictThankfully I was able to exchange my Groupon.

ADRIAN IS A HAIR MAGICIAN!!!! She completed a full color correction on me and my hair looks AMAZING!!! I had dark blue hair and used a vitamin C color remover on myself and ended up with swamp queen green EEEKKKKKKK!!! I came in a mess and Adrian had me leave looking like a goddess. Recently bought a Groupon for a quick trim with stylist Adrian Cassidy. After she canceled our appointment due to a minor car accident I have never heard from Adrian again. I have tried texting her and calling the salon with no response. I even found the owner on social media and DMd her to no avail. Checked my Groupons and the salon marked it redeemed on a Saturday that I was OUT OF THE STATE. Save your coin and dont get scammed like me.

This is the third salon I have Followed Sam Ritter too, and I love the location.The interior is modern and professional feeling. It’s a welcoming space.I started growing my hair out a couple years back and Sam been a fabulous resource (and human!) for my hair care. Even as my visits have become less frequent (still jist letting it grow...) I’ve felt confident recommending him to my sister, who gets her hair done regularly, and others.

I was fortunate to find Adrian via Groupon, when in search of a new hairstylist, after 2 years of loving my current hairstylist as a person, but not so much what she did for my hair. I have to say that the haircut I received from Adrian is the best Ive had in my entire life, and my hair, and I, are not easy to please. Adrian listened patiently to my recount of previous haircut traumas, viewed the photos I had brought in (do this to help yourself and your stylist out), discussed my perceived hair issues and what I wanted from the cut. The one styling trick I wanted to know, she taught me in 10 seconds, and in the 6 weeks since she cut my hair, I havent had a single bad bang day, through all workouts, the open ocean above and below, tropical humid climates, and a demanding schedule that affords little time or want to actually do anything to my hair.... at all, ever. She also dyed my hair, color is still holding and locks are shiny and healthy. I find the dread of haircuts I once experienced has subsided, having finally found a stylist that I both enjoy personally and professionally. She also has later hours some evenings for us working folks, which is a bonafide blessing. 5 stars all the way for this lady, shes earned a loyal client in me.

Very disappointed in Sam at kelz, I took my daughter here to get some blonde highlights and many hours later no highlights. My daughters hair ended up a mouse all over color. It should have been a simple process, but he kept putting different colors including bleach, then changing it and even asking what he should do to the stylist next to him. It was very late when he was done and I had an hour drive home. He did offer to fix it for free at another time, he over charged me . When it was a Groupon I paid for anyway uo front. So total price was almost $200.00 dollars are you driving kidding me. So my daughter was really looking forward to this and left dissatisfied. She called Sam to set up her complimentary redone. Sam called her and cancelled. So I decided to do her hair myself. Not happy at all. I only gave one star because he was very friendly

My hair is three inches shorter than I wanted, crooked, and the color is wrong. I used a Groupon (I guess is shouldve known) and had to pay $70 on top of that for a crappy color, cut, and style. Lesson learned I guess.
