Have been a patron here on and off for 8 years. Its my barbershop when I live in Portland. And when I dont and am just passing thru town, I always make it a must to stop by. It is a one chair shop, and Pat, as the owner/barber is the man you will be dealing with. Hes a multi sport fan that can talk to any person about any subject, and its that character that keeps the shop lively. His client list is numerous, and it is wise to go on a day that you have extra time to kill so as to make sure you get a haircut, as his now limited hours are filled very quickly these days. If its your first time, Pat also makes sure to out forth the effort to get to know you and make you feel welcome. Best barber in town.

This guy can cut. Bring cash, show up early, and enjoy the conversations. You may wait an hour or more, but people wait for a reason. Also, if you get rude you will get booted out the door, and the rest of us will laugh when you go.

Great haircut, the only place I will continue going while I live downtown. I do highly recommend to assume your visit will take a couple of hours since sometimes it can get quite crowded in here and you may be waiting for some time.

The mecca of non-verbal communication. Come in, make eye-contact with the barber, nod your head, wait outside, get called back in and get a fire haircut. Worth every penny

Looks like a trap house. Only one barber and he looked like he suffered from unclean equipment because he had bald spots on his head that are cause by that. Gave me a attitude when I asked if he was the only barber that knew how to do fades. Would not suggest wasting your time like I did.

Worth the wait.
