Honest and affordable!I called yesterday to get some new rotors and brakes put on, and they quoted me a price that was FOUR TIMES CHEAPER than any other garage. Finally, a mechanic that doesnt try to rip you off! The older woman who answered the phone was cordial, and they were able to squeeze me in today! Honest and fair! Kevorks, and specifically Kevin, treated us so well. We were traveling from out of state when our camper van bit the dust, leaving us in quite the pickle. The kind receptionist at Kevorks was the only shop in Portland who 1) answered the phone and was willing to talk with us and 2) worked hard to get us in quickly. Because of the large size of our vehicle they weren’t able to complete the extensive repairs needed but they were able to get it running so that we could drive it to another location. They communicated thoroughly and honestly and gave us a great deal on the services they were able to complete. If you need auto work in the Portland area, particularly if you don’t drive a giant rig like ours, I definitely recommend Kevorks!

Kevin is always patient in explaining a cars working to someone who does not have a clue but just wants her car to run smoothly. He runs an honest shop and doesnt look for or make extra work for the shop, rather he tells you just what yo need and what you can wait on fixing. I have been goin here for over ten years and every time have been treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. It is hard these days to find any business with such fantastic customer service, but this shop is consistent and fairly priced too.

The shop was recommended by a friend and she has been taking her car there for years, I had transmission flush and new gasket on transmission and my oil pan leaking new gasket for that too. They told me to wait on other things because it 2005 dodge caravan it may cost more the price of my van. Great people and great service. I am taking it back today to look at my cooling system, i know they will not BS me and always honest.

The work has always been done in a timely manner and far below the repair costs that I expect. Adding another well deserved 5-star review. Needed my brakes serviced, and very much appreciated the thorough troubleshooting and solution offered. Work performed the same day and they were able to provide a shuttle service for me. Very grateful. Following my experience, my husband took his car in for service and was equally impressed. A headlight that was out turned out to be an electrical issue, which they properly diagnosed and corrected. We will be back and highly recommend Kevorks.

Update: Please see the attached pictures. Its very concerning that this tool was in my hood and I was driving around with it for 3 days.I had come in due to a vacuum leak. The guys were very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. But this is unacceptable and concerns me about the quality of work that was done. Did one of their technicians do this because he wasnt paying attention? Also, when I changed the air filter on my own (today) the old one looked to be mishandled and shoved in wrong. It could have been oil can Henrys a couple days before this place but it also could have been this place that ALSO shoved the filter into my car wrong which also me unknowingly drive around for three days without a filter intact blocking off gunk from entering into my engine. Swung by Kevorks today to see if they could run diagnostic test on my Honda Element. They said bring it back in an hour if that worked for me. Took it back an hour later they hooked her up and had called me back within the hour. I told them to go ahead and fix it and that was done in less than 2 hours. Seriously fast and friendly service. They showed me the parts they replaced and why and had me out of there with a working car. My only complaint, cost. But, that came as no surprise, cars are expensive. My surprise is with how friendly and fast they were. Top notch. Ill go back, just hoping Ill never have car troubles again, for as long as I live, haha. Good people and mechanics

My colleague recommended them to me. I heard the metal scratching in the front passenger side tire. They found a rock stuck in the wheel in 15 minutes, without any charges. Love them.

Thought I had an issue w/ a dead battery. In the late afternoon, I got the car up to Kevorks, Kevin tested it, said the battery was fine, the problem was an alternator. They are jammed to the gills with work, and he said well have it done tomorrow. 2pm the next day, got a call from Kevin, jobs done and under quote. This is normal for Kevorks. Best service, nicest people.

Ive used Kevorks a number of times for my 2000 Subaru and each time Kevorks took great care of the car. They rapidly diagnosed the problem, fixed it quickly and charged a very fair price. The Kevin and Larry are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable and provided great customer service each and every time I took my Subaru to them.

Excellent garage! Friendly folks and they know what they are doing. I brought my Toyota in for an airbag light that kept coming on now and then. They worked on it for four days and then told me because of the special Toyota-specific tools and diagnostics, Id have to bring it to the dealer. The charge? Zero. They wouldnt take a dime. You can bet Im back there when I need service again!

Just picked up my car there. very unhappy. they didnt do anything they said they would. seemed unsure what to tell me. waisted my time and money. they seem like they know what they are doing but dont.

$75 for car pre-purchase inspection is very good price, and I was surprised that they do things like remove both rear wheels, and brake drums to inspect rear brake shoes...wow! ;) Be prepared, it takes an hour if not more, by appointment, unless if you get kucky: Place is pretty busy because they are located across from DMV.

I went in there with a broken tail light while the DMV was holding my test time and they fixed it likkety-split for me, and for a great price! Thank you again guys, I owe my license to you! SOOO recommend these kind and efficient folks.

At first I needed a mechanic after moving to Portland and based on the reviews, seemed to be a good fit for the issue I was having and it was rectified. Nearly a year later and I needed some work done including a new fuel pump. Qoute was a 1000 installed. I priced a new pump at Napa which came out to 350 with online discount and Kevorks labor didnt even come close to 1000. Their supplier quoted 550 with 1 week wait time, same part number from Napa. I went ahead and bought the 350 pump from Napa and had it installed and was told prior that while I have the warranty on the part, no warranty on the work....and now, the fuel gauge is not working properly and to take it back will cost me another 200. So yes, if you want to pay the extra 200 for the same part, and get the garages warranty, thats a choice but not very pro consumer and friendly to the pocketbook. Hope my next mechanic will cover their work without the premium.
