There are a 18 people all met here in Franklin NH to travel down south to RI for vacation. After waiting an hour and a half and after the texts saying they have dispatched a truck to tow one of our vehicles, Brenden from Portland called and said, sorry we cant tow you tonight well try tomorrow. We said well were in the road that has no parking and is there anything you can do for us? He said flat out no you can talk to someone tomorrow if you like. Then said we heard you were getting the car towed half way with one membership then continuing with another members. We said yes we told the lady that when we first called he said well were not towing you. In shock my friend hung up. Then we called back to ask if that was really the reason Shannon from triple A Portland ME even more rude and condescending said yup your breaking the law. He said we didnt know! We were straight up and honest from the beginning! She said well that doesnt mean you werent trying to pull a fast one! And she continues to say we will be watching your account so dont think youll get away with it. All of us in total shock listening to this conversation on speaker said we cannot believe were being treated like thieves. We want it towed to Walmart automotive in Quincy Ma so we dont have to travel back 3 hour during our holiday to meet with a tow guy? She said sorry were not towing you tonight and youll have to speak with Corperate tomorrow! Basically the worst treatment weve ever had! All pay for our memberships year after year! So we didnt know give us a break. So all 18 of us are asking for refunds tomorrow and hope some of you will stand up to these bullies once and for all! Honestly whats the difference? You only get one 100 tow, so what if two separate members want to use theres at the same time? We paid for it! So now were stranded and all have to rent rooms with no help from triple A because we were honest! Dont make the same mistake!
Worst service I ever had! Think about the service before committing! They told me they had very few people in the office as Im stranded 4 hours + with no way to get help. The app is useless when theres no one there arranging the dispatch to come help you. I arranged my own tow after more than 4 hours stranded in sweltering heat. They maybe should think about getting out of the service if they cant provide the service I pay for. In my experience my car wouldnt start but electrical did work. When the first AAA provider came in a pickup, he tested the battery and it looked good. We both figured its the starter. He called into his dispatch and said Ill need a tow vehicle to service garage. This happened in the morning maybe 11am. I kept waiting for the tow truck and the app says the tow was ready and to the garage and will be there soon. It gave an eta of 55 minutes and that came and went and I clicked to track technician and it says was on the way and now another eta of 55 minutes. Again in 55 minutes no show. So I canceled the tow and started over requesting a new tow to same place. By now I have been sitting in the Home Depot parking lot for about 3 hours. When the new eta passed I called the garage to see if there was somebody local to come get the car. He gave me two tow companies and I called Willies Towing right in Windham and they said sure be right over. In about 15 minutes they showed up and I explained and he took my aaa card and registration photos and said all set. He said I tow for AAA and no one called me and we have two trucks available today. Then I get a call from aaa and said we got someone on they way and I said well I got someone local and they are coming right over. I said I’ve been here hours and no one showed up. They said they would bill aaa. Aaa then asks so do we cancel our tow they are on the way? I said yes I have someone coming from this same town right now after I called. Then aaa says well we have very small staff in the office and very few available trucks. I am not sure if we are keeping the plan or not this is crazy the driver said we have been right here no one called us.
The woman who helped us was awesome and gave us lots of great info for our journey up the coast from Portland.

Friendly, arrived early, went above and beyond. I was so happy. I called about a flat tire. He diagnosed the problem, repaired it (not temporarily) and saved me a lot of hassle. The weather was cold with wet snow. I was in my warm car and he worked effienctly with a smile. I felt so badly I didnt have cash on me to tip him. I called AAA but they wouldnt give me his name or any way to reach him.
If you ever find yourself in need of road side assistance, you would be better off walking then to trust your vehicle in the hands of unprofessional drivers. A driver with a vehicle on its deck cut in front of me with little regard to leaving me enough space. In an attempt to safely get around him, he turned his truck slightly into my lane, threatening pushing me into the ditch.Driving behavior like this should NOT be tolerated what so ever. I tried to call and complain but I wasnt able to reach any human, just robot prompts.Dont waste your time.
Horrible! One of their contracted tow truck operators damaged my vehicle while transporting. After several hours on the phone, emails to the Portland office they have refused to hold the contractor liable nor offered to pay for the damage. There are other car club options, I suggest you vet them! AAA is NOT what they used to be!
Was flat out lied to when I signed up. Asked, specifically, if I had to have it towed to a mechanic, could I also have it towed home. Sales person said, yes. I asked, if there were exceptions. She said no and that it was 4 calls per year regardless. Well, turns out you cant. Now, I have to hire a private tow to get it back.
My truck broke down in north conway,called aaa and was ready for the long wait( 1he plus ). Got a call from transport driver and he was there about 8 min. later. Great service.

I needed battery service today and as usual AAA did an excellent job of sending out a knowledgeable, polite, and professional guy (Justin). I really appreciated that he did a great job of social distancing and wore a mask as well (as did I) and did a great job explaining the battery issue.He hooked the battery up to the analyzer thingy to test it. He thoroughly explained what the problem was and didn’t try to hard sell me a battery which he easily could have. I have never felt pressured by AAA to buy a battery or left confused as to what the problem was with the car. If you do need a battery AAA will bring the battery to you, install it, and it comes with a 3-year warranty. I’ve always gotten my batteries through them.I decided to have the car towed to a garage instead of dealing with the battery because there was another major issue with the car that would have prevented me from driving it enough to keep a battery charged. He asked me if I needed anything in the car and also if I needed any of the keys on the keyring - which I did and if it wasn’t for him asking me I would be without my house keys.He called the tow truck, left the keys on the visor for the truck, and let me know that they would put me keys in the drop box at the garage. Justin told me I didn’t even need to be out when they towed the car away. The tow truck was here within 15 minutes.I would highly recommend AAA. I have had such good experiences with them. Everyone they have sent has always been polite and took their time explaining things to me. The customer reps are also very nice and thorough. Thanks Justin and AAA!

Worst experience Ive ever had with a towing company. It was the AAA fleet that towed my car to the wrong location and that was on Thursday afternoon...it was friday I got a call from a garage saying they had my car and knew what was wrong with it. I explained to them that they shouldnt have my car and instead of correcting it right away AAA customer service employee Angela said they couldnt pay for the work that the garage did to it and wasnt sure if they could get my car back.Not only do I have 2 children, ne in which is a 2 month old, I also set up a time to have my car worked on by my mechanic so I wouldnt be without a car all weekend but apparently AAA tow truck company couldnt get my car to the right place so that didnt happen. Also they couldnt help me out with a rental so here i sit without a car and a brand new baby! Hopefully nothing goes wrong this weekend Id hate to have to sue them for messing up and not helping a father trying to Christmas shop for his kids.
AAA has been a godsend to me and I have been a loyal customer since 1995 in various regions. I strongly recommend their premier membership, it is worth every cent. I have used them more times than I can count for unlocking and tow service. I have also gotten assistance with various misadventures involving flat tires, mud and snowbank extraction, battery restarts, and if you run out of gas in the middle of nowhere they will deliver enough to get you to a gas station. They provide discounts for repair shops, hotels, and will help you plan trips and create a customized triptik map among many other services.Their staff has always been extremely helpful and non-judgemental, they make your safety their priority. As a lone female driver I cannot stress enough how important this is! I have only had one negative encounter, it was with a tow truck driver that was not an actual AAA employee, just a local subcontractor. The guy was a crazy jerk, I reported it with AAA Member Experience Department, they took swift action and the driver was fired by the tow company.I know some auto insurance companies offer roadside assistance but they have limitations and if frequently used your premium can be affected, your data reported to Choicepoint, and in some cases even get you dropped from your plan. AAA does not take punitive measures with your data and they actually sponsored a Consumer Rights for Car Data initiative.
I had the most noteworthy experience with Derek H at Marginal Way AAA in Portland Maine. His customer service is amazing and his follow through as well as attention to detail is exemplary. I highly recommend taking advantage of his expertise for any of your travel needs. He has mastered the art of customer service. I left feeling that I mattered.

Applied for a job here and almost immediately got a call back. Went in for an interview and the people I talked to were so friendly, made me feel like family. Passed their background checks and looking forward to starting work with them. Very nice group of people. Have been a member of AAA for 17 years as well and have always been happy with them
I am on vacation from Alabama. When I first called the lady looked up my account number and said oh you are from Alabama. She sounded like they only serve new England people. I told her I was on vacation and then she helped me. I purchased AAA to have coverage in all states but to be served only near my home. Also in Connecticut I needed a tow truck and it took forever because in CT they can take paying customers b4 AAA.

As someone who has had AAA for 4 years and held a PREMIER ACCOUNT, Ive never been so disappointed with their customer service. Im hopeful this is a rare occurance, and the INCOMPETENT dispatcher TYLER was just having a rough night reflecting on his immense success as a leader for AAA.....
They sent me a generic email stating i want good enough to work there. I have 5 plus years in customer service including call center work. Dont waste yoir time to apply here. It is not a good place.

Ive gone down to this office to get an international drivers license made. This invloved getting a picture taken and filling out a small form. The lady who helped was extremely friendly and the entire process took about fifteen minutes.They have a large, comfortable wait area in case there is a line.
