Friendly staff willing to deal with me being nervous about being there every time. They are good at explaining things before they do them so you know what to expect.Ive had issues getting numb in the past but not here! They make sure that you are numb and ready to go.Prices are a little more than others Ive been to but they have a nice office, top notch equipment and staff that deserves to be paid well so Ill take it.Overall great experience experience here and I really dont like the dentist! (Nothing personal guys!)

I had a bad experience with a corporate dental practice in Portage. Somebody in my moms group recommend me Dr. Susan and I am so happy they did!!!. The staff is remarkable, the doctors were great. Looking for a new dentist office can be a feat. However, with the first phone call I made to them, I felt welcomed and excited for my first appointment. Upon arrival I was greeted with a warm smile and was given a tour of the office. My entire experience from start to finish was wonderful. The staff calmed my nerves and made me feel very welcomed. Everything was clean and updated. Not to mention the beautiful view I had throughout my cleaning and examination of the woods! I would highly recommend this office to my friends and family.

Before starting to go to this office I had avoided the dentist for a long time. Since starting here, I am no longer avoiding them. I am greeted by friendly people the moment I walk in the door, they make an amazing first impression! And then everyone else just builds on that. My previous dentist always made me anxious, I have no problems going to this office. Added bonus is how comfortable the whole office is. The treatment rooms are comfortable with large windows to see the wildlife and birds, the waiting room is comfortable. I am thankful to finally have an office that I trust!

I dont have a bad feeling going to the dentist anymore because I know they got me covered. They have great costumer service, they make sure you are not feeling pain, and they suggest you to listen to music during treatments (which for me was a game changer: no more stomach turning and rowing headaches because of the bad sound of the dental drills..) - one time I forgot my headphones and they had disposable ones in the office! Its also very pleasant to watch all kinds of birds/hummingbirds on the bird feeders, and other wildlife on their wide and big windows while you take care of your dental health - it makes the time goes by faster.

My girls and I switched to Dr. Dennis last year and it was the best decision! The staff is very friendly and they strive for excellent customer service! My girls 4 and 10 have also enjoyed their experiences which is so relieving because my oldest has serious anxiety when it comes to the dentist. I went to Susan for a second opinion on a front tooth. When I got there, they were super nice to me. They even showed me around the office. They explained everything to me in detail. There office is also beautiful and clean. I will be going back to them. They made me feel so comfortable and relaxed.

I’ve found Susan’s practice to be not only very professional but also personable. She is a truly kind person. They have been extremely honest about what work needed to be done, and even more importantly what did not.I came to them with some complicated issues and I was not well. Lets say Im not a fan of going to the dentist. I had not gone in many years and a friend of mine recommended this practice. From the moment I entered the building I was greeted by friendly staff. Registering in was a breeze since you do most of it online prior to your visit. Sitting in the lobby was not stressful because I did not hear any dreaded dental noise while waiting. I was given a tour and brought to my exam room. The dental hygienist was super friendly and put me to ease by describing everything that was happening along the way. As a child I hated going to the dentist but since having Dr Dennis for my dentist, I always feel comfortable and worry free. The care is gentle and thorough. The office is bright and very welcoming. And the staff is fabulous!

I scheduled an appointment with this dentist after seeing all of the great reviews. Unfortunately I did not have a great experience. I can relate to the others who have experienced the upselling of expensive procedures (like others, I was also told I had to undergo a laser gum treatment), additionally I was also scared into paying for an expensive gum test that insurance doesn’t cover. What I thought would be a normal first time consultation ballooned into a $500+ bill where nothing was really done aside from the gum testing. I also had to pay up front for my appointment and was told my insurance would send a check. They did but for $100. After looking at my invoice I was charged $40 for photos they took of my teeth and I recall being told those were complimentary. I have never had such a disappointing experience. Others may have had great experiences, I’m disappointed I’m not one of them.

Dr Dennis was so nice and compassionate, it was my first visit w her practice and I was thoroughly impressed! It felt like family, like home! The clinical and clerical staff was outstanding as well! I would highly recommend Dr Dennis’ practice!

I feel like this should have been discussed when I made our appointment, as dental work is rather expensive. I would recommend the company change this practice and bill the insurance first.

Dr Dennis is very understanding. I was terrible at going to the dentist. I spoke with her and her staff was put at ease right away. I am very hard to get numb but they have each client dialed in. I had some dental issues, regarding a motorcycle accident I had a year ago. Over the last year, me dentist told me, you just have sensitivity First appointment here at Susan M. Dennis, DDS, I was taking back as an emergency visit due to my level of pain. Within the first 20 minutes I was told my pain was indeed from cavitys, with stemmed from the accident recovery. They immediately scheduled me an appointment for 2 days later, and first thing in the morning I received treatment. Later that afternoon I was able to finally chew on that side of my mouth, for the first time in over a year. I highly recommend the staff at Susan M. Dennis, DDS because of their friendliness, and ability to listen to the patients concerns and requests. Since I have had such good treatment, I have also had my family switch to this office!

I love this office. They made me feel totally comfortable with their covid safety protocols.I love how they can do their own crowns so I didn’t have to go through getting a temporary crown. I just waited a could hours and walked out with a great fitting crown.

Dr Dennis has a very thorough practice when it comes to teeth care. The people there are very professional and caring. My only concern is the cost. They are very expensive compared to other dentists in the area.

A recent visit to Dr. Dennis was for my crown replacement, and most recently a cleaning. The work at this office is exceptional! I have had problems with the last two crowns on a specific tooth, mostly due to fit problems that have created gum issues and tenderness for years. The day I left with my new crown, I felt instant pain relief (plus the bonus of the crown looking beautiful)! Every time Ive visited, Dr. Dennis and staff clearly outline all my options with zero pressure. Cleanings are thorough and the hygienist staff create a friendly atmosphere.

I saw Dr. Dennis when I was in my 20s and living in Kalamazoo as a college student and young professional. After moving away, I went to a local dentist for years but at the age of 50, went back to Dr. Dennis for some problems I have with my jaw. She made me a bite splint unlike any other and is currently making them for two of my children (even though we live over an hour away). I also went back to her because she repaired one of my front teeth that had been knocked out as a child and had to be repaired again in college. It was supposed to last 10 years at most. When I went in at age 50, it was still holding strong (30 years later), she had to physically remove it before putting on a permanent crown. She does beautiful work, she cares about her patients, her staff knows you by name and everyone makes you feel welcome. Definitely worth the extra time I drive to get my teeth worked on by Dr. Dennis, I highly recommend.
