I needed a repair done by a German car expert, but I did not want to pay dealership prices. Matics is a small shop, but tidy and well organized. Especially impressive is their waiting area, which has been newly renovated to follow covid safety guidelines. Matic is an expert mechanic, but the MVP of this shop is the service manager, Kay. She keeps in contact during the repair period and follows up afterwards to make sure everything is okay. After my Porsche was repaired, Matic invited me to view the underside of the chassis while it was on the lift. As the car was new to me, he pointed out a lot of the good things about the condition of my 911. His best piece of advice was to not to let it sit in the garage. He recommended I just drive and enjoy the car. My car drives great after installation of its new struts. I feel I was treated well and fairly by Matic and Kay. I would leave my car with them again.

They replaced my alternator a while back on my car, and as my luck would have it, the alternator was a defect and failed before I had 500 miles on it. I got it down there, and to my surprise, it was a same day repair with absolutely no hassle and best of all no cost!

When the Service A light came on in our new to us 2011 Mercedes E350 Cabriolet I decided I wanted to get to a baseline on service issues not knowing what had been done in the past. I chose Matics for the service based on reviews and their experience with German cars. They went over the car and performed all the services that should be done for a 54,000 mile MB. All work was done in the scheduled time frame and we received an explanation on work done from the owner when we picked it up. The work was done during Covid19 and they cleaned touched surfaces.

I stopped by at Matics Auto Repair for a quick oil change and to my surprise the service advisor at the front told me that at Matics they dont believe in quick oil changes. They informed me that even though it was just an oil change, they needed to check my vehicle out from top to bottom to ensure that it was ok and safe to drive. I was pleased, so I agreed. They did my oil change and informed me about what they found that my car needed. They didnt pressure me into a sale but offered to reschedule me at a time more convenient for me judging that I was in a rush. I appreciated that. They are truly professionals. I found Matics Auto Repair after searching the net for a shop to work on my Cadillac. After viewing the site I was most pleased with what I saw. Making an appointment was fast and easy. I was pleased with the work and how professional they were.

Caveat emptor! Smooth talking, manipulative owner who lies far too easily. Took 6 weeks to return our car despite many promises to be done with the repair much earlier. The repair failed after two days of driving. All efforts to seek a financial remedy have failed...several promises were made to me to send a refund cheque but none ever arrived. Very poor accountability, many illogical excuses made for the failed repair. Actually found a rationale for attributing the responsibility for the misadventure to me!?! I considered suing, but opted to write the loss off given that I live out of state. I am pleased to never have to speak to this slippery charlatan again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Honest Auto Repair Shop. The are not cheap but hey are honest and they do a good job. The only bad experience I had was they were to busy to work on one of my vehicles. Other than that I would say they are trust worthy and do a good job. What more can you ask.

I needed a set of run - flat tires for my BMW along with four wheel alignment. After multiple calls to several other shops, Matics was the only shop that had run-flat tires available and were able to install them. I was very pleased with the tires and their prices. I highly recommend them.

I took my Mercedes to Matics for what I thought was a simple shifting problem, that could be resolved by just a regular transmission service. Before going to Matics, I took it to the dealer and they diagnosed my problem and quoted me over $10,000 for a new transmission. I wasnt sold. After taking it to Matics, he found and resolved the problem within a week. I left paying under $1,000 with my Mercedes driving perfectly. Id strongly recommend Matics to anyone.

Took my car in to have AC work done because of all these Great Reviews and received the car back in an unsafe condition. Switches in the dash were broken and just laid in place to fall out when I touched them. Panels with the clips missing and just flopping around next to the gas and brake pedals. When I questioned the mechanic he shrugged his shoulders and said he knew he broke the part but didnt feel like fixing it. The owner feels it is silly for me to ask for a discount for my time (Had to drive back 3 times to get parts fixed) he wasted. Told me he would give me a discount next time I came in for work and that it is how all businesss work. That no business gives a discount for bad work on the current work.In what world would someone come back for a discount and more work when the mechanic shop doesnt care about the customer or their vehicle to begin with? Be careful about these other reviews I personally wouldnt trust them again.

While traveling back home to ATL from Ft. Lauderdale, I noticed that I had lost my high/low beams while traveling across the Alley. I was spending a few days in Pt. Charlotte and this was the time to get lights repaired! My Saab 9-5 needed some TLC and I was in the dark, until I googled and came across Matics. Thank goodness. Kay was excellent and her voice alone calmed my fears and that her technician had everything in control. Replacement took under 45 min. Excellent customer service and I highly recommend them for servicing your vehicle.

I went to Matics auto repair shop a few times. Ive gotten oil changes, transmission service, tune up, brake installment and shock repairs. I must say they did an outstanding job. The other shop gave me a long list of things that were wrong, not to mention a high estimate for the repairs.)So i decided to take my car to Matics. The mechanic at Matics explained everything that was wrong with my car, and much to my surprise since Im not so car savy, I quickly realized that the other car shop was trying to take advantage of me.The repairs were finished in a fast time frame. I look forward to doing more business with this repair shop if anything goes wrong with my vehicle again.
