Responsive staff and service/repairs, pretty nice for the price. Old building, no real complaints. Renewed our lease!

Visiting my niece and holy mackerel this place is a dump. Barely any parking space, hallway smells like fish. People in main building walk around without masks on, and my niece says not even the employees there that do work wear their masks when coming in to do work in the apartment. My sweet niece deserves better for what she pays here.

Not worth the money. You pay so much for a 3 bedroom apartment here in a unsafe location when you can find better options nearby for cheaper prices. Management is very rude and so is the cleaning people. Garage break ins constantly. Broken windows in parking lot, it is a mess. My advice is do research before renting here and check out Hillsboro before renting here it’s right nearby and so much cheaper.

Horrible! Be careful with the move out fees. They expect you to clean everything when the apartment is given to you dirty. I took pictures so thankfully was able to argue that. But Diane will not return the deposit or cheat her way. She’s a horrible human being and needs to be fired ASAP.Fire Diane! The tenants are sick and tired of the abuse. Do not rent here! Constant robberies in garage and parking lots. Hallways are always dirty and all management does is send out letters complaining but no action is taken. You would be better off paying the price of these apartments at another complex. Electric problems in new building, lights always go out. And let’s not forget the fact someone’s dog got killed and nothing was done.Management needs to be changed

Come here if you want your stuff stolen from the protection of the garage and the parking lot and if you want them to have a problem with you getting your stuff stolen and no cameras even told by others that stuff was stolen to expensive for things like this to happen!

Someone hide this place from rental websites. This place is a scam. I’m sure management is involved in the garage break ins. If you rent here expect to have things get stolen and your property damaged. And when you ask for help, Diane will lie and say she’ll do something. But nothing ever changes here.

These apartments are the best I’ve ever seen. The management and staff are kind, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. The apartments are spacious. The grounds are awesome. The pool, sauna, playground and other outdoor activities are awesome. The office has always been there when I needed them. Would recommend these apartments to anyone and everyone. One look and you will love them too!

The apartments are spacious and comfortable. The amenities like pool, sauna and more are awesome. The community is friendly. I would recommend these apartments to anyone and everyone. A must see!!!

I’ve had absolutely no problem here, Diana is always on top of communication and very friendly! It’s nice and quiet!

Nice Apartment Community

Management does not care for tenants. My dog was killed in the parking lot by a car from another resident and my grandmother got hit by the car in the process. When spoken to they never asked how they could help and later informed us that the cameras around the lot were not even functioning to help out with the police report. This place charges way too much for these things to happen. From car robberies to our pets being killed it’s absolute madness. Can’t wait to move out of here and be rid of this horrible place.

Would be very nice if residents weren’t allowed to let their dogs do their business all over the steps leading into the apartment. Stepped right in it with my brand new shoes. Disgusting

Car broken into and management didn’t even show any care or try to do anything. Difficult place for delivery drives hallways are alway stinking.

As a USAF Veteran and employee of our great USPS; I really want to point out how I was treated during a phone call received today from one of the staff. This lady called me letting me know that there was no unit available. I asked her not even a 2 or 3 bedroom, while she respond: “no, ok” and the she hang up the call. What a bad customer service this place is providing.

Live in the brand new building & its wonderful! Underground heated parking, spacious apartments with laminate flooring & a great layout! Quiet & alot of amenities. Secure building, grills, exercise room, pool, sauna & great green spaces. Excellent location within walking distance to Medicine Lake & French Regional Park. Pet friendly & no pet rent is a huge plus!! Owner is on site daily & management staff has been amazing!!

Am a delivery driver. This place is a nightmare to navigate, no signs anywhere, not to mention random doors are left open and are clearly broken. I would be afraid to live here lol people can just walk around the halls.

Very family and pet friendly. Pool is clean but recently been kept on the cooler side. It was nice when we first got there but we couldnt use it after the first 6-8 months of living there because it was too cold. Another building was built in the common area which effectively took the majority of the pet area away and just before we moved they started building back behind our unit and cut off the walking paths. Management was good about adding other dog areas. Other than these two issues we were not bothered by anything else.

This place has been my home for years now and I love it. If a problem every occurs, which happens of course it’s handled quickly. Great area with plenty of things around to go and do! Thanks! Wanted to show some love for you Plymouth Commons!

Management does not care! Pets are in danger as are residents. People will break into your cars and nothing will be done about it

I dont know why so many people complain about this place. Yes, it has its problems but doesnt every apartment complex? Thats apartment living for you. The management here is good enough, they dont screw people over and they work with you. Walls are thin, thats why they only got 4 stars, but thats something management cant control. Every time, there is an issue in my apartment, they come right away to fix it. Kinda pricey to live here but Ive been enjoying it so far since Ive been here..Yes, hallways are dirty but its a huge complex so it can be a little tough to upkeep it when the tenants dont respect the facility.Not the perfect place because perfection isnt real but its a GOOD enough place to live. Safe neighborhood. Good Management. Good maintenance team.... Yes, they could clean the complex a tad better but no true complaints here.Also, I havent seen a homeless person in the halls yet.. If I do, as long as their not bothering me or my stuff/other peoples stuff, I could careless because all they want is warmth.Thanks.

Like one other review said.. I really dont understand all the negative reviews. Diane has always been super nice, and very professional. All the staff Ive met here have been. The complex is kept clean. Ive lived here just shy of a year, and I love my apartment.Ive also seen a couple of people mention fire alarms going off. My baby sitter and her husband used to live here, they told me the alarms are sensitive (also, they ring in the section of the detection from what Ive ascertained). And honestly, Im happy they are. Worse case scenario, wouldnt you be happier to have an alarm go off, and nothing serious happen, or be warned too late due to bad alarms? I feel my family is safe here, and Im appreciative of it.

Great Place to live. Staff are all friendly and helpful. I come home from a stressful day and can just sit back and relax, the apartments are well insulated for sound. This is the perfect home for me.

Long story short: I was noticed my pet was allowed in April, called today in July, Diane was not friendly, said the pet was not allowed and no matter what its not accepted when I was told it was. The other rude comments on her I believe after my situation. Didnt even reply back to my email after I showed her the email that said my pet was accepted.I was told a few months back that my pet was allowed, I didnt the 3 months rent at the time. Either way I asked today about the apartment thats opened soon. I informed the person Diane that I was informed that my pet was accepted. She kept repeating that shes the property manager and thats not going to happen, I told her again I was told that my pet was accepted so I was planning on this location to move to. Not going to happen, didnt sound friendly on the phone just kept saying her position, I heard you the first time, the point is that I was lied to and was told that I could have my pet here. Caged pets are better because they dont poop and pee everywhere so that being denied is ridiculous. At this point next month Im just going to buy my house. Apartment rules of caged pets now allowed is just ridiculous, since my caged pet is very clean and very secure.

I love the casual down to earth atmosphere of Plymouth Commons enviroment. I have lived here for a couple of years and the fact that they have elevators for people like me that have a hard time getting around is wonderful. I love my view of the nature area. Plymouth Commons has a friendly staff and an owner that really cares about his Tenants! Thank you for all that you do!

Ive lived here for three and a half years now. I would not recommend living here. I can barely live in my apartment because the floor shakes from my neighbors slamming things and probably some mechanical issue and management does nothing and calls me a liar. There was a fire a few doors down from me a few months ago. Last spring my roof started leaking from over a dozen places and it lasted several days and got disgusting water all over my things. My fridge has died, my air conditioner has died, the power goes out a few times a year, the fire alarm has gone off in the middle of the night several times a year. I walk through a cloud of pot smoke every other day in the hallway, often from the managers daughters apartment. Weve had to deal with construction, which is going to make finding a parking spot even harder. Parking and garbage are a mess, laundry is a mess, the building is a mess.

I live in the newest building. I can hear people talking (not yelling) through the walls. The walls are so thin. Any time someone flushed the toilet it shakes my whole wall and wakes me up when I sleep, due to the layout of the apartments. I love that dogs are accepted...but I’m a stay at home mom and yet I keep getting complaints about my dog and it’s not my dog because I’m with him all day everyday. I can’t wait to move out! Great management people. But I’m paying $1400 a month and yet the sides walks are still covered in ice. Carrie ing my baby is a hazard on those side door sidewalks.

Not pet friendly

Vomit in the hallways. Homeless people roam around the hallways, most likely where vomit came from. Floors shake ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR. Paying for this place is definitely not worth it!!

This place accepts Section 8 housing. Based on FACT section 8 brings increased drugs, crime, and generally unruly people. If you live here, youre basically telling the property its OK to rob John Q. Taxpayer to the tune of over $900 a month.

Its an apartment complex. Youll find quite the assortment of weirdos. Just pay your note, do what you say youll do, and try and respect the rules and youll have a fine time there. Diane was great in my opinion - but theres a lot of people there that arent there as a stepping stone in their life... theyre lifers, broke, with no reason or goals to achieve. She has to deal with that day in and day out - so give her a chance, show her youre not a loser and shell treat you with respect. Remember that its a business, not a charity case. Pay your note!

Management is terrible. Especially Diana. They do not clean the apartments and they allow smoking. Dogs bark at all hours of the day and the walls are paper thin. I would not recommend moving here.

Diane, the site manager has been nothing but kind, courteous, and professional in all of our interactions. The crass comments about Diane speaks loudly about the authors character, and render anything else they may say as highly suspect.Im quiet. I pay my rent. I mind my own business. The business of Plymouth Commons is to provide a nice environment for all the tenants to live. If you do something to interfere with your neighbors peace and privacy, you are interfering with the business of Plymouth Commons and you should expect to be reprimanded in some fashion. If you are considerate, the management and your neighbors will barely realize you are there, let alone give you any hasale.The halls and common areas are clean and well-maintained. The lawns are beautiful. Its noteworthy that the owner is always around the property fiddling with this or examining that. This is no absentee landlord or big corporation running Plymouth Commons. This is a man who takes pride in his property, and honestly seems to want to make these apartments nice homes for the tenants. Darrell, the maintenance man is knowledgeable and friendly. Issues are solved promptly and efficiently.Plymouth Commons has a large, lovely indoor pool that is open 24/7. The pool is always sparkling clean and kept at a reasonable temperature. It has a shallow end and a deep end.it is never crowded, and you and your guests may often have it all to yourself.The children in the complex seem to get along well. The apartments are just across the freeway from Sonnesyn Elementary, where I sent my granddaughter, and only a few blocks from a middle school AND a high school. I know little about the latter two, but the Sonnesyn school bus picks up at 9:00 and drops off at 4:00. It is the Robbinsdale School District.Speaking of kids, there is a huge expanse in the back of the buildings for kids to play, along with a fabulous playground/sandlot. There is a volleyball court and grilling area out back as well. People are free to have cats and dogs, so you will often get to know the various pooches around the complex . I have loved living here. I think a lot of people might find a great home here if they would learn to be a good tenant.

Staff are very friendly and have always been helpful when any issues came up. Its a great place for the price.

We recently drove 35 min to look at a potential Studio for Rent, when the Office person...opened the door it was a scene from Animal House/Old School. It was disgusting, beer bottles, plates of food, clothes, trash all over. Ive seen Alot of things in life but this room will be stuck in my head forever. How can they show such a place? Lets just say well be looking elsewhere

Horrified by the condition of the apartment we we were shown. It has been 2 days and I still cant get the image out of my mind.

Diane i beleive was the office manager, very rude and would actually spread rumors about me to other tennants. The rest of the staff was great. The apartment itself was not good looking, the hallways were always leaking water out of the walls and the rugs had rips everywhere. Pretty ghetto looking. The only good thing is that is cheap and it is in plymouth.

Diane was always rude and angry, it seems it was due to the fact I caught her in a sexual act with one of the tenants. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! DIRTY AND ANYONE CAN WALK IN AS IT IS THE COMPLEX HAS UNLOCKED FRONT DOORS!!!
