Dominium property in Denver, Colorado has not responded to any of my calls or emails on some on going issues. It is very unprofessional. I’ve even contacted about paying rent. They need a new team entirely in the leasing office. They do not care about their residents or helping. The property itself has had many complaints by many of the residents and the management refuses to do anything about it. There have been vehicle break ins, lighting in the parking lot is sensor and does not always go on, property gets stolen off the first floor of the apartment units, children throw rocks in the parking lot and it does not get picked up and they have egged doors, broke into the pool area, trash is over flown, broken Windows and not too mention this location is not up to code. There are missing fire extinguishers in every unit. They need security! Dominium management needs to look into this property. This is not a safe property whatsoever.
I have lived in a Dominium managed apartment for over four years (since the building was new). The building construction is of high quality and quite energy efficient. The amenities within the apartment include washers and dryers, granite counter tops, balcony, etc. I have been extremely pleased with my apartment and with the on-site management. Yes, the rent goes up each year and yes there have been some security issues but no more than any other apartment in this market. The fact is, the rent I pay is still substantially below that of comparable apartments in St Paul. I have observed that the complaints about Dominium seem to come primarily from tenants who do not pay their rent on time or, mistakenly, believe that they are in an assisted living setting.
After several months of dealing with rotating office staff and false move in dates, I was finally told that I’d been approved for a 2 bedroom. The lease was signed by both parties, I was given keys, paid all fees and activated the light contract.I emailed the front office complaining that AC was not working.(87 in house in 90 degree TX heat) Shortly after I received an email saying they needed more paperwork from me in order to activate my lease. I provided all information requested then again was told I would have to move out of the unit. There is NO valid reason for me and my 7 year old to insure all of these delays, moving expenses and discomfort if heat blowing out the AC!We have a signed lease and have loved her for over a week with no working AC. Now they’re kicking us out for no reason and not callling it an eviction! FRAUD
I cant say enough bad things about this company and the fraud they commit. There is a reason there is so many bad ratings and they proved them to be not exaggeration. From the health code violations in the building, to the lies they tell to hide things in your lease, to being unresponsive and uninformative - this company needs to be shut down.
This has been the second time in less than 12 months that my mother’s AC has went out. The front office was notified and it still has not be completed, they said a contractor was suppose to come days ago (it’s been over a week now since it first went out) and still has failed to show and instead of getting a new contractor or make any type of change to get the issue fixed, the front office staff seems to completely careless and just say sorry and nothing else! It get to up 98degrees inside of the apartment and higher! It is extremely unsafe, unprofessional & DANGEROUS!!
My family stayed there when our house was being renovated. After we left we owed $325 for utilities or something. Rather than reaching out to me they just reported me to the credit agencies (went from over 800 to 660) and screwed with my mortgage refinance. Im not pleased with their business decisions.
Nice place, is like be in own home....AMEN
Update: Rebecca you were aware, along with the maintenance I spoke to over the phone that day. It still has not been fixed, instead you took the door remote from me forcing me to buy my own to access my garage. Giving out free gift cards for good reviews doesnt make lying about residents acceptable.Dominium does not return calls, no matter how important. During the freeze and huge power outage in Texas, my car was stuck inside the garage. Despite over an hour attempting to open it with the latch string, and multiple messages to multiple Dominium execs, I was stuck until ice cleared enough to be picked up. The garage door issue related to weather was unexpected, so I dont fault them for that. But at least one of the multiple employees in an office outside of Texas should have tried to reach out, even if after the fact just as a courtesy. Its incredibly frustrating when a company with over a billion in assets accepts HUD grants to accommodate housing and uses it to renovate and then ignoring the property once their asset value has greatly increased.
I would prefer anyone to come here is very polite and friendly staff great food
The company that manages Coppergate Apts in Lafayette, IN.
Never got a call back
I got a little behind on my rent due to covid19. Ive been in contact and even came to an agreement that by Sept rent due would be paid. By the end of September I would pay off the remaining balance. I even put in my notice to vacate at the end of my lease which is October 31st. But after I paid a full months rent on September 3rd, I got threatened with eviction. I was told if I didnt give them anymore money in 2 days, they would come an illegal eviction. Within the hour I got a paper in my door saying that if I didnt give them what was owed by the 10th they would file. Today on the 10th, they gave me a 3 day notice. Even though they were informed that it would be illegal to file on me, they continue to harass me. I dont recommend anyone to move into any of these properties.
I have been in the property management industry for 20 years for the last 5+ I have worked for Dominium. In that 5 years, I have watched the company grow and flourish in many different markets across the United States. It has been an absolute pleasure to learn, to grow, and to succeed in my career due to the way Dominium takes the initiative and time to cultivate and engage their employees. Thank you Dominium, for every opportunity you placed before me and for trusting in me to represent your brand. Truly the best company I have ever worked with, and I look forward to many more years growing together.-Sincerely,Laural VilliardCommunity ManagerEast Range Crossings ApartmentsDenver, Colorado
David Lepak is literally the best thing that ever happened to this property management company. Thank you, David
This company provided the most sketchy, rude and frustrating experience I have ever had renting. The random inspections Were uncomfortable, and often lead to ridiculous charges. Examples being: $25 per light bulb out. $28 for a new stovetop heater that was never put in. And yearly rent increases. They even had my car towed from a paid city meter spot to put a dumpster in its place and I paid $450 to get my car back. My car was on the street bc they lied to us when signing the lease that parking would be included. Then found out it would be $85 for a garage 2 blocks away, or $130 for parking at the complex, but were told it was full anyway. There was a fire on my floor and the building had to be evaluated. We ran through smoke to the steps but couldnt make it all the way down due to a locked door. We had to enter back onto the main halls to another stairs. We could hear tenants trying to break through other stairwell doors on our way down because they were locked. It was lucky the fire Dept got the fire put out before it spread too far. People could have died...We moved soon after this experience.
I would not ever do business with this company--they have flooded my computer with repeated advertisements, over and over-clearly do not know what they are doing! Sometimes they sent the same one over and over-very frustrating and annoying. With each ad, I clicked unsubscribe-but it didnt work. The ads kept pouring in. Next-I emailed them to stop sending ads but they stated they could not stop them-its marketings job and I should click unsubscribe. Which I had -many times but the ads continued. So unprofessional. They appear really desperate for customers. Their excessive repeated ads are really inappropriate
Remodeled neat place
Been trying to pay a debt that I had with them over a year and they will not take my money smh. This is crazy who don’t want to take a payment???
Beware when you rent a apartment from them. This management company no longer cares about the tenants.
Very unresponsive. Apartments are okay, but are pricy compared to others in the area. The management company (Dominium) is what sucks. They don’t return calls or emails. When you do get someone on the phone, they transfer you to someone else’s voicemail.
I have lived at the Cambric for 3 years, since it first opened. In 2 1/2 years we have had 3 managers. This 3rd manager is quite mean and nasty. She and her superior refuse to renew my lease. They will not give a reason. I have been renting for over 30 years and have never had a problem. I am very sorry I ever came here. They seem to be decent to many others but hold some kind of grudge against me. Me, i am a retired RN and worked many years in the ICU. After that I taught nursing students for several years. Very soon I will be 70 - it is difficult for me to pack boxes as well as find a new apartment. I strongly suggest you consider renting elsewhere. These are not honest, decent people.
Rented with this company for 2 years and had 3 different building managers in that time. They do not fix huge security issues in a timely manner. Our garage parking doors have been wide open for over a month and has left us victims to bike theft, car break-ins, and even tires being stolen off of cars. People have been squatting in our stairwells and threatening residents with bolt cutters.Do not rent with this company, they do not address anything in a timely manner, including lease renewals. I had to remind management several times within 60 days that my lease was going to end and I would like a renewal. They did not provide this to me until 2 days AFTER my previous lease was done.Maintenance requests are frequently ignored as well.
Part one of my review. Please see part two for the conclusion. Its speaks volumes about a company when the only positive review is from someone employed by the company. Im a resident and what I have to say is both positive and negative. First the good stuff. Ive been a resident at Mulberry Apartment in Lawrenceville, GA for eight months. The design and color scheme of the walk-up buildings are rather nice. The apartments are nestled near the historic part of Lawrenceville, so if you like that old school feel, this location would be ideal. The units have an open floor plan, which I like, and the rooms are large enough if youre not a hoarder. My unit faces lots of trees, which I absolutely love, and I get adequate sunlight. Id love more, but Im not mad at what I get. The bathrooms are spacious too. I live on a top floor, so I dont have any loud neighbors over my head. Thats normal apartment life and thats why I choose to walk up so many stairs. If it werent for the negative things, Mulberry Place would be a great place to live. With that being said, lets move to the negative issues. Like I said, my family moved here in January 2020. The day we moved our belongings into our unit, we were in for the shock of our lives. Moving day was the first time I got to see the unit, and I should have suspected trouble when I went into the master bathroom and saw that the light fixture contained a bunch of dead roaches. The entire bottom of the fixture was completely covered with them. Mariella, the maintenance lady, came to see if everything was ok with our unit. I showed her the light fixture and she was very apologetic and cleaned it immediately.Sidebar: No one has EVER come or called to check on my satisfaction at ANY apartment complex on moving day and it made me very suspicious, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. My family and I left to get food because we were tired after getting our things moved in. Upon our return, we were met with HUNDREDS of roaches! THEY WERE EVERYWHERE!!! Roaches were crawling all over our boxes and dressers. They were in EVERY closet, room, and all on the counters. Roaches were in our kitchen and bathroom cabinets, the tubs, OUR BEDS AND IN OUR DRAWERS! WE WERE MORTIFIED!!! We immediately left for Walmart and bought sprays, gel, and BLEACH! We didnt want to stay there, but we were trying to stay strong and be proactive. I have only lived in one apartment, in my lifetime, that had roaches, but NOT TO THIS DEGREE, and I was able to get rid of them. Just writing this makes me cringe when I think of that day. BUT IT WASNT JUST THAT DAY. We have battled roaches since January. I have had roaches crawling on ME!I cant tell you stress and anxiety I have been under since we moved in here. I am in counseling now because I had a panic attack about two weeks after moving in here. I woke up and I couldnt breathe. It felt like the walls were closing in on me. I have never had a panic attack before and it freaked me out. I didnt know what was going on. Thank God for good friends and prayer checking on me all day that day. Just writing about this makes my hands tremble and I want to cry because these people knew about this unit! Their greed and desperation to rent units put my family in this situation. THEY DID NOT CARE ABOUT PUTTING US IN HARMS WAY! We have little children and I am disabled, but regardless, NO ONE should be subjected to this type of treatment.TO BE CONTINUED...
These people do not handle business, the front desk continues to transfer you to voicemails in which no one ever returns your call. I feel bad if you have to work with these people, good luck!!!
Finished out my lease in Rochester, MN. The leasing manager walked through my apartment and gave a thumbs up for my deposit to be returned. It has been a month and still have not received it. State law in MN states it has to be returned within 21 days. Now I have to go file paperwork at the courthouse because the manager says its out of his hands and Dominium wont return my calls.
I was a guest at the ATL Marriott Gateway hotel on Tuesday with an early international flight Wednesday morning. I had hoped to enjoy a relaxing glass of wine before going to bed. Unfortunately, I witnessed such a debauchery I felt the need to report this. While I was in the Champions bar I discovered one of Dominiums directors was so inebriated that she knocked over a sign three or more times, stumbled around the small bar and forcefully bumped into my chair on multiple occasions. In addition, to the intoxicated behavior, which can almost be excused by the lack of control or refusing to be responsible while consuming alcohol, I draw the line and refuse to accept certain conduct in a public environment while representing a company who must have spent a small fortune on their employees. While walking to the restroom I also witnessed this said director and another female Dominium employee had urinated on themselves. This is the point when I became embarrassed and slightly enraged for the you, the company, Dominium. As a woman holding an executive position with an international organization, I would be mortified if I, or another member of my company, displayed these same actions. It delivers a perception that this behavior is acceptable, but as a woman it completely negates any stereotype we have fought so hard to disprove for years. Initially, I had planned on posting a picture along with their first names of these two females, but I also disagree with public shaming. I do, however, implore you to address their actions before this becomes acceptable and common behavior for all of your employees. The last bit of information I should include is that security was called to escort your executive employees from the bar.Unfortunately, I am prompted to give a star before I can post.
Dont like minority working here, walk all over clean floors the maintenance men..follow you all around
They own more properties than they can adequately staff. Their emails to residents tend to be patronizing. They have the wrong attitude toward the people they serve.
I have called several times to get information regarding a new community in the Blaine area. No one calls back & rarely do you get a real person @ what is called the front desk. First impressions are lasting. I wonder if this is indicative of how the company serves its clients & renters.
I lived at Epic Apartments for a little over a year. In my time there was a shooting through my neighbors sliding glass door, drug activity, racism, MOLD!!! And the community manager ignored each and every request. At one point when the WHOLE MAIL DOOR exposing everyone’s packages and mail was completely open he stated OH WELL NOT MY PROBLEM. I have tried on multiple occasions to reach out and absolutely NOTHING. I have already moved out out the mold infested place and they are still trying to charge me for a month when I turned my keys in! I would appreciate someone to contact me regarding this matter!
Nice apartments
Worst customer service and professionalism ever. Very poor management and lack of perspective on how to treat people. Called their corporate office to speak to someone on the situation and regional who we interacted with and no one called me back. will never recommend any Dominium property. They treated us like we were liars the bad guys. reading the other reviews, seems to be a theme...
I stay in the Dominium apartments in Deland, Florida. I have been here for about 2 years and in January my lease will be up. The office reached out saying they weren’t going to renew my lease and didn’t specify a reason. We moved in back in February 2018 and we’ve had many issues with the apartment since we moved in including the toilet over filling with water and flooding the entire master bedroom soaking the carpet. This happened over 11 times since I been here in the past year and a half or so. Second issue is the ac not properly working. We’ve reached out to the office numerous times regarding the ac issue and the maintenance came out to check it and see it’s working fine. It will be 80 degrees in my apartment and I will put it as low as 72 to try to cool the house down because I have 3 kids and my grandmother is also on bed rest as hospice is now taking care of her in my apartment. The ac will take over an hour to cool the house down when it should work right away and they say the ac is working fine. Another issue that has been addressed is the garbage disposal being clogged up for over 2 weeks and no one has came out to try to fix it. Just called the office this morning and have complaints again and she said she will send maintenance again to try to fix the problem. My grandmother is in her 80’s and they’re demanding we live at the end of January. With the rent being so high and both my grandmother and mother are on disability there income is only enough for the rent and light bill. It’s the worst apartment complex we’ve ever stayed in and I honestly wish we didn’t invest our time and money in this place. I’d give 0 stars if I had the option.
Im writing this because I currently live in Euclid apartments in Euclid, Ohio 44132 and they have treated me so horribly. Unfortunately Nothing in my apartment as far as appliances work except for the stove and refrigerator. The stove still has a burner light on even though the stove is off. Washer and dryer never worked. The dishwasher never worked. Agency pay my rent and deposit this month And Im still getting eviction notice after eviction notice. And its only the 8th of February. I dont know what to do. I have three children and one is even younger than 5 and I dont want to be put out on the street because of their anger towards all of the tenants because they dont want to do their jobs. If possible I need For someone to get in touch with me as soon as possible.
Me and catharine seem to be playing phone tag she calls me when she ready to call me I called because my money was token at fulton pointe nothing has been resolve first off my boyfriend and i had been dealing with the assistant manager shannon she sent us documents to sign and we did one of them was suppose to be a $300 security deposit which was suppose to go to whether we got the apartment or not one document says that our $300 was nonrefundable and I have proof of that we were told that the only thing we couldnt get back was the application fee which we were over charged it was suppose to been $35 for each of us and they took $70 out of my account and his Ive set proof and documentation for the $300 deposit and the applion fee and it didnt go through because catharine gave me the wrong email address this is unacceptable and wrong to do peolpe like this and now I have to take further action with my bank and get a lawyer because they dont want to do right I understand you guys have to get your commission but you cant take advantage of people and their money its not right and thats why you get 1 stat and fulton pointe gets 1 star too
First Off DO NOT RENT WITH THIS BIG NAME COMPANY!!!!!!!!@Q!The property was located in Baldwin GA Which is the biggest drug activity area. There are roaches in this complex!!!!! One got into bed with me and i found it crawling on me.!!!! Other things were not taken care of. My drain would not drain it took a month before someone came to fix it. Along with tenants smoking weed somewhere that was getting into my unit. I notified The property Manager Rhonda Cochran and so did many other tenants. She told us to call the cops. Cops were always at the apartment late at night anyway arresting someone. The contract states that if there is illegal activities or drugs that the person will be evicted. The property manager did not do any of it. If things did happen when she was there to see it, it was not her problem. Then when I finally had enough from the Weed smell that made me sick I left my apartment with a 30 day notice because of it. I will gladly high light my lease paper work with the 30 day notice. I did give that. The fact I called the office a few years later because of stuff on my account that was put on my credit for the wrong doing of the terrible management at the complex. They are not honest ethical people. I called the office to speak with someone so they can listen to the issues and see how to investigate my issue and i got to speak with Jennifer that woman was rude and kept interrupting me when i tried speaking. how about she listen to what i have to say and then take notes until she can discuss it with me instead of interrupting me when i tried to explain all the issues that I broke the lease. Jennifer also hung up on me and was terribly disrespectful how is she in a management position!!!!!! Also, Tom in collections for that company i never got to speak with him but he gave information out about me to someone that is not authorized to have. That is a BIG NO NO!!!! I also have documentation and pictures of everything. This company is owned by shareholders who do not care about providing excellent service to the tenants. This is a trashy establishment and ran by unqualified people. I want to speak with someone other than Jennifer!!!! I will keep calling until i do.
My friend just moved to one of the property at grand central, her car was parked In The underground and was towed she’s dint know about the policy she just moved in there last week and was given wrong information with the leasing agent that she is good with out a sticker underground .Erica Powell was rude when was asked to provide cooperate number or regional manager so we can be able to settle this well .I will advice my family and friends to stay out of this property and I won’t recommend it . Poor customers service and misleading information.
We completed a substantial amount of repair and renovation work for Dominium at their Cortland Estates property in Cortland, IL going back to March of 2019. It has been nothing but a nightmare to try and get paid. First the property manager lied about the po numbers she said were issued, which turned out to be false, then once that was straightened out by the new property manager who has since left (a common theme!), it has been one delay tactic after another. We are approaching one year since completing some of the work and still not paid in full, although we are told The invoices have been approved and processed. No one from Dominium Management will return a call or respond. I would avoid working for this company as they do not seem to value vendor relationships at all. I had heard from previous employees that they have had a hard time getting/keeping vendors to work on the property. NEWSFLASH Pay your vendors! That would go along way.
When previous management abandoned the property and tenants, this company came in and gave us hope that they would listen to us, fix the problems the previous company left behind, and promise that they would not raise the rent.. ALL LIES FROM THE BEGINNING.. I went to the tenant meeting with work orders for a broken stove door, water damage from the upstairs flooding my bathroom and living area, told about the horribly nasty carpet in my apartment. I was told they would come take a look and start turning things around. I lived here for almost a year without a lease. As soon as they had paper work with their name it, all those BS promises out the door.. I have complained about these issues and more for over a year now, and all they do is right it in that damn tablet and I never see anyone to fix anything.. I figure the company must have issues because since they have taken over here, front office management ha changed 8 times, and the evil woman that works the front office now.. is just that mean and evil, no personality, all she is a management bully.. At one time this was a nice little community, now it horrible and I cant wait to get out.. Think twice before renting here!!!
They say they value their employees who they treat like dog poo. Dont ever work for this company they will do you wrong.
(A-Mill Artist Lofts) Beautiful location, but the building management company is very bad. It took years to get them to manage the bar type community room over our apartment. People were having thumping loud parties until 3am on week nights regularly, and management also neglected to tell us about the pool table that is set up over our bedroom. After the child like neighbors harassed us for asking them to quiet down, after fighting with management and threatening escrow several times, they finally hired a room monitor and started closing the room at a reasonable hour.To add insult to injury, my parking neighbor parked over the line into the spot that I pay for so many times that management finally threatened to evict him from his spot. He continued to do it as he dented my car door repeatedly. They never evicted him. During a meeting with management and this neighbor that proved that his door lined up with the dents on my new car perfectly, my neighbor lunged at me, flipped me off in my face, swore at me, and even said some explicit things to me. The assistant manager watched the entire thing. I had to move while this rude and inconsiderate resident got to keep his spot. This is not a place for people who follow the golden rule. Many of the people here act like bullies, and there are people living here well into their 50s and 60s who act like children (not in a good way). I’m sure that most of the residents are normal people, but there are just enough rude ones to make it a terrible time when you are trying to live like an adult. Not recommended. It’s the Twilight Zone here.I’m only staying here, because of financial and location reasons. The housing market isn’t exactly affordable right now.
No interest in condition of property. Mold in apartments, only interested in money, not people
I was perfectly ok with my time at Maryland Park Apts in St. Paul, MN....until I moved out. They will give you move out instructions and emphasize strongly on getting the carpets professionally cleaned. BUT BEWARE!!!! They will rip you off on your security deposit. I cleaned the apartment day in and day out making sure I met their cleaning expectations. When I moved out and did a final walk-through with the manager, the manager marked everything as good and ok, seeing that nothing was severely damaged or broken. When I got my security deposit in the mail, I only received $266 when I actually put down $536 as my deposit. I didnt get the carpets professionally cleaned so they mentioned that they will take out the amount from my deposit which I was fine with since it was in my lease. I have written to the landlord multiple times to inquire about how much carpet cleaning was going to be if I had them do it instead of me finding a provider. My messages has been ignored and I never found out how much the cost was going to be. When I finally got my security deposit back, I found out that they took out $118.66 for carpet cleaning AND $151.03 for APARTMENT CLEANING! They have not been transparent about this all along especially since I received move out instructions and it specifically stated what I needed to do for cleaning. It NEVER stated that I was going to be charged for apartment cleaning regardless if I cleaned or not. If I knew I was going to get charged for this, I should have never cleaned at all!!! I definitely feel cheated and have expressed my concern with the manager. All she said was that it stated in the handbook: The apartment should be left clean and in good repair, you will be charged for all damages, cleaning fees, or unpaid rent. If this part about the cleaning fees was so important, why was it not addressed in the move out instructions? It was definitely meant to deceive. This is definitely a fine print that can be misinterpreted in many ways. Word of advice: DO NOT CLEAN YOUR APARTMENT WHEN YOU MOVE OUT! They will still charge you for a cleaning fee no matter how good you clean it!!! Learn from my experience.
The apartments are Roach infested, I had to pay Orkin to do a ULV despite pest control. The maintenance man pulled my carpet up during a flood restoration. After six months of waiting for the repairs I had to pay to have them fixed myself. I have called several times both this office and Sycamore Ridge in Gainesville, still no resolution. I will be sending both receipts and conscidering next month a repair and deduct. The staff here is so dishonest and will lie straight to your face.
Poor management company. They are very comfortable with letting supposed amenities fall to pieces or exist in a state of disrepair while they continue to raise rent rates.
Stay away from any property owed by Dominum. You will regret it. These reviews are real! Take note and go with a better choice.
*TESTING OUTSIDE OF THE AFFECTED AREA* (AS STATED IN YOUR REPORT)OFCOURSE IS NOT GOING TO SHOW ANYTHING BUT NO WORRIES, THIS IS ABOVE ME NOWAND IS BEING HANDLED ACCORDINGLY. IVE TRIED SPEAKING WITH YOU & HAVE CONSTANTLY HAD MY INTELLIGENCE INSULTED. TELLING ME TO PAY RENT FOR 11 DAYS OF RENT THAT IVE PAID FOR JANUARY AND WAS UNABLE TO LIVE THERE AND FEBRUARY WHEN IM STILL NOT THERE PLUS A ENERGY BILL WHERE YOU ALL HAVE BEEN RUNNING BLOWERS IN MY UNIT NONE STOP IS LIKE TELLING ME TO PAY FOR MY OWN HOTEL ROOM! THAT IS THE MOST UPSETTING THING WHICH IS WHY I SEEKED LEGAL CONSULTATION TO HANDLE THIS THE PROPER WAY! AND FYI I WAS TOLD AFTER THE FACT WHY MY PERSONAL THINGS WERE TOUCHED. WELL ACTUALLY, I WALKED IN TO IT BEING THROWN ALL OVER MY LIVING ROOM COUCHES AND FLOOR AND WHEN ASKED WAS GIVEN A MADE UP EXCUSE. BUT AS MY OTHER SISTER WHO COMPANY USES THIS SAME CONSTRUCTION COMPANY TOLD ME, EVERYTHING SUPPOSE TO BE NOTATED WHEN THEY MOVE OR DO ANYTHING! THERE A RULES,LAWS, REGULATIONS AND MORE THAT WERE NOT FOLLOWED!East Range Crossing- Denver,CO1/20/20 I discovered a leaking ceiling in the master bedroom of my BRAND NEW unit at East Range Crossing. My bathroom was ripped out and plastic was placed over the door. Wednesday (1/22) I recieved a call stating that my 2 year old and I would need to move to a hotel on 1/27 because the water has leaking into my bedroom and more needs to be torn out. I then got home after work to find the bedroom door I used to keep my child out of the room was removed and every item in my closet had been laid all over my livingroom floor and couches. Even my personal documents with my daughter and I social security numbers was removed and just laying on the counter. NO ONE bothered to tell me this would be happened or even ask. After sending pictures I was told it was ok for me and a 2 year old to be inside which is not easy because she wants to play in the plastic. It wasnt until after my sister spoke with her legal department and got involved that my hotel check in was moved to 1/24 and a response was sent from East Range itself. That same Wednesday, Daycare mentioned my daughter was acting off and wanted to know if anything different was happening saying she had a weird cough and wheezing something that has been happening for a while because a couple weeks before, she was sent home due to a croop like cough but doctors rules out the actual croop. I finally told them about our living situation.I was then asked about exposure to mold. As mandated reporters, the made a report. I have been asking to speak with corporate and for a report of what has found so that I give it to daycare and now my childs doctors as they are now all involved. I am constantly given the run around. This whole situation has been handled inappropriately. I am a reasonable person and I understand things happen but some things are unacceptable. This started 1/20. A blower was in my home the entire time with a 2 year old. My closet, one bathroom and the kitchen cabinet has ALWAYS had a bad odor. I got airfreshners to mask the smell after living there a month. I put in for a drawer to be fixed and it is still broken. As far as the whole mold that I saw myself and water leak, these people went as far as trying to purchase a bed to put at my sisters house so I could stay there and give me a $100 King Souper gift card. And YES, all of this is on TEXT MESSAGES and email. After speaking with several of my co-workers at my new job at the courthouse and several others, I now know it is my LEGAL RIGHT to get the report I have been told would be sent to me Wednesday and wasnt. Ive tried not to push this any futher but when it comes to my child, I am not about to neglect her health to protect a faulty apartment that I am told I still have to pay rent for when Ill be in a hotel for a month...well 22 days it was booked. Hadnt been in the apartment but a little over 3 months and my life just flipped upside down! This is horrible and I hate I ever waited damn near a year to move in!
Hi,I live in one of your properties in Tennessee and have consolations you guys have taken over although I have gone through the chain of command when I make it to Janet Anderson she very rarely feels the need to either call me back or email me back. That is very unprofessional of Dominium property management and it concerns me I mean I understand if that’s the way you guys do business in Minnesota but that’s not the way you guys do business here in Tennessee. I just recently had a flood in my house and it took four days to get it done and he only concession is $40 with Three teenagers and a two-year-old toddler. Trying to get a hold of Miss Janet Anderson is like trying to pull teeth from a baby I don’t think that’s right and a fair way to do business. Anybody who wishes to live in a property that’s owned by Dominium property management do your homework before hand.
I am a current resident at Villa Springs Apartments in Houston Tx Been having major issues with this property since i moved here no one returns my calls . they take their time to get things done i have childrens who are getting sick from living in these conditions.
This is the worst company I’ve ever conducted business with. They never answer the phone or emails. If you’re considering renting from them don’t. Go with a reputable organization.
Shameful disgrace of a manager type group. Who do you think you are? The lack of response or proper customer service is why you failed the BBB, fail to contact PAYING customers, and why your google reviews will remain very low. You guys have known about these problems and have had hundreds of complaints yet cut corners and blow off the very people funding your salary. How dare you treat thousands of residents like this and not expect consequences or the same awful treatment you have shown 59 of my neighbors as well. How many pictures do humans have to send you and document before you grow up!?
I went to Pine Tree here in Omaha, Nebraska for housing as it was literally my last and pretty much only potion. I am on full, total and permanent disability so I do have assistance to help with my housing (HOWEVER that shouldn’t matter but it unfortunately does!)I came to look at a unit and of course they show one that is clean and probably in the best location of the entire complex. I inquired about a garage, the cost and obtaining one prior to evening signing a lease or the unit itself even being approved by housing. The management told me one date for a move in and then called back two weeks later telling me the current tenant needed more time in the unit. Once the unit was open, inspected and approved they called for me to sign the papers. Almost demanding I sign them. I let them know with them allowing the previous tenant to stay longer that, that in turn messed up a lot of my scheduled help that I had previously set up and so on, the earliest I could sign the lease was 8/26/19.On 8/26/19, I came in to sign things, get keys, garage remote and so on. Guess what??? Still no garage! Mind you I applied and was approved back in MAY of 2019!!!!I reluctantly signed the lease and walked away with my keys and paperwork. There was a delay in being able to move my things out of my storage unit as there were problems that presented themselves during the process of trying to move into the apartment.I came in the apartment around 9/8/19 and began to clean in the kitchen as the apartment WAS NOT CLEANED PRIOR to me moving in and if it was, well money is being wasted and I’ve found others DO NOT live according to my standards AT ALL!! After spraying down all cupboards I went for under the sink! Well, according to management at Pine Tree these white mats under the sink are standard, I see the mat has been there for some time, I see there is silicone glue somewhat haphazardly holding the mat down... well, when I clean I clean I don’t clean HALF ASSED!!! So, I lift the mat and OH MY HOLY BUGS 🐜 🐛 🕷 OF ALL KINDS!!! The most disturbing to me COCKROACHES!! They are dirty and nasty and nothing anyone says will make me alter that view I have of them, especially when inside your home!!!They were all over under the mat, behind the fridge and inside the actual back of the fridge! Mind you the complex has Husker Pest Control hired and they spray on a regular basis/schedule. I notified the manager that day I found them and pest control came in later that same day. They only put down some gel and sprayed. Mind you I know just from what I’ve seen that the cockroaches found in my unit no one had been in for over a month, was just the tip of the iceberg!I’ve dealt with Scottie Siebrass during most of this, only speaking once over the phone the rest of the communications were through email correspondence, at a VERY delayed pace! There was no urgency and I’ve been run in a complete circle. The management kept telling me that housing inspected and approved the unit so they couldn’t let me out of the lease. I even explained housing wouldn’t have approved the unit had Pine Tree not done it’s best to hide and place a bandaid over on-going and existing problems. I explained how it was effecting my health and most think, well of course anyone would be stressed and have some issues with this situation. What most don’t understand is I’m not healthy hence the disability!PineTree, the management and upper management according to what I’ve been told by Scottie were of no help, the offered little to no resolution! I am a single mom of two on disability and all they did was drug this out to get as much money as they could!I wouldn’t rent from PineTree or Dominium EVER! They do not care about your well being, they don’t care about the cleanliness or safety of their units, the communication is some of the absolute WORST I have ever seen in my 40 years!I feel horrible for the people that have to stay and live there with that! You should be ashamed and know that God sees the big picture and your karma will come to find you!
My storage unit was broken into.a few days after I paid my rent. They credited the amount. Later that month our complex was bought by another management company. My credit disappeared. I have called several times and nobody has called me back. I am out my stolen property and the amount of the storage fee. I am thoroughly disappointed with this company and will be talking to the BBB.I received a phone call from Dominium today and they were extremely helpful. Kelly informed me that I do have a credit and it did transfer over to the new company. I am grateful that they got back to me and took care of this situation on there part. I am kind of thinking that I wish they still owned our complex.
Moved in oak glen apartments in Orlando in 2015 the manager stated she had a 3bedroom that was ready and I could move in until a 2bedroom was ready paying rent my air conditioning wasnt working I had a hole in the wall my kitchen stove was missing 2 burners she always told me she was ordering the correct size never came bugs flying..So here she goes with a eviction notice but I moved out before this happened now theyre telling me that I owe 2400dollars nothing was damaged I left this place cleaned now this is stopping me from getting approved for other places how can this be removed from my rental history I got pictures for proof..Poor place to livemanagement was terrible and a liar and the old manager doesnt work at this location anymore waiting for a response
I am happy to see I am not alone!! Sounds as if management training is memorization of legal speak to cover crime being committed on disabled and low income residents because we cannot afford to defend ourselves. For years I have been told to call police whenever I reported crimes or violations of city code to management . After doing so I got lease infraction notice for disturbing the quiet enjoyment of homes of drug users and dealers by police knocking. If the offenders do not invite police inside to see drug use then they can only write up a reoort that no one answered door, or the new it will be legal soon response in addition to the police telling you to report to management. Every review for 4 pages are exact responses and denials I have gotten over last few years. Despite one neighbor being raided after selling a fatal dose in the jail here in Plymouth Mn. They continue to deny drugs being sold and used on this property. I have been told I am not allowed to have a security camera and that management will not install them to eliminate illegal activity and criminals subletting.
I just want to say I am very pleased with the urgency and concern of management . Theresa addressed my issues I had in my unit and showed she truly cared this is who you call when things unfortunately aren’t running smoothly
The property manager holds her complaint meetings in a local bar Miltons in Euclid Ohio if you make a request about your apartment they threaten you with eviction knowing if an eviction is on your record you loose your voucher some people really depends on the voucher help with most rents exceeding 700 why am I meeting the property manager and counsel person Mrs Hill in a bar I dont do bars but if you want your voice heard Iguess thats where you gotta go please someone read this and help us make a difference nothing will be done the management is trained to say the same thing were sorry for your inconvenience start calling your counsel person and city hall and the media only then will changes be made and revamped the whole system because they know whats going on but they dont live there so please dont reply to me your excuses help the people
Well I was gonna come one here ranting about my YEARS of misfortune in my apt to let people know but it seems I should have done my homework.. I have been quiet way too long.... think I will be having to get some legal advice. Green Valley AZ
Tralee Terrace. Coon Rapids,MN.I moved out long over a month ago and still no return of my damage deposit. Called coorp and my messages havent been returned. Im getting frustrated, so as per my rights Ill be following up with a complaint at the BBB adding to their already F business rating! One nightmare after another..**Update:STILL WAITING on my damage deposit as of tomorrow it will be 3 months since I moved. Im so disgusted with Dominium and just want my deposit returned in full as promised.Calls and emails are not returned promptly.Im STILL waiting on verbal promises and some excuse there was a clerical error. You would think a real reputable company would have handled this promptly! NOT SO.Ive contacted tenants union and Homeline who gave me a letter to submit with my rights and as of today Im still owed 700.00 plus interest. Homeline has been very helpful and will be assisting going further.I have no other choice, this should have been adressed and followed thru long ago.I left my apartment immaculate and the property manager signed off on it saying it didnt even need to be cleaned after move out and thanked me. That was Sheri the Property Manager,I dont blame her shes always treated me well. As for Corporate office in Plymouth... Im still waiting as of today for the rest of my PROMISED DEPOSIT RETURNED.Im just stating what has happened to me so others may avoid this unnecessary stress.
I moved out 2 months early, paid my rent for 2 months when not living there, cleaned the apartment, and let the leasing center know. The day my lease is over, I received a call, not only they took my deposit, they want to charge me an extra $180 for cleaning up of a cleaned apartment with some small nail holes that are nail size, not screws. They never sent a letter stating why, called and demanded the money when I told them to send me pictures of the repair and a letter. They never did and continue to harass with my creditors. Already have a credit lawyer looking into this. Scammers!!! Stay away from all Dominium Management properties!!!
In 2015, I was scheduled to move into Villa Springs Apts. in Houston, TX managed by Dominium out of Plymouth, MN. Despite having payment in hand, they refused to allow me to move in without a money order. While it was an overall blessing that they did not allow me to move in, I was still out several hundred dollars during the course of my attempt to move, $228.50 of which they directly stole. They are illegally keeping application fees and deposits by falsely claiming breaches of contract. They are extortionists operating under the guise of a management company. The only 5-star ratings appear to be from unscrupulous people who sold their properties to them.
The property I lived in was nice and the lady who manages it is also very nice. However the head pwoppe are rude. And how does it cost almost $2000 for breaking a lease????
Very rude and unpleasant employees. Scammers taking part in stealing peoples money.
Management is horrible. They never return calls. I got roofing nails in my new tires due to their construction and when I told them their response to me was that I should sweep the parking lot. Umm no. I pay rent. Quite a bit too. There are nails on the back porches where my kids play. Not cool. They refuse to do anything about it.
So where do I start CATHYS POINTE AMARILLO this place is a horrible place to work and to live I was the maintenance supervisor for 3 months and hated every minute of it starting form the regional down to the maintenance tech was horrible they don’t pay there bills on time or at all but want to you do make readies with no parts the manager patty and leasing agent Renee are super rude to residents the maintenance tech Jason is as well who is wanted out of New Mexico on warrants felony warrants at that the floating maintenance tech will also lies and doesn’t do anything to get make readies down as well this place flat out sucks management wise dominium is a bad company don’t even know how there in business they hire incompetent people that don’t know how to do there jobs at all this was worst decision I made coming to work there and regret it but I did learn what I didn’t want to me so I moved on to a better company so all is good to anyone who wants to work or live here I would steer clear you will regret it
Your company should be ashamed of how you are doing the residents of Wellington Ridge in Covington. When renovations were about to start the residents were promised that they would remain low income friendly. You still list as low income friendly but raised the rent above what section 8 approval rate. Money over ppl well being should be your slogan. I pray that God Lenient on you. Your reputation will eventually slow walk you down sooner than you think. You reap what you sow.
HORRIBLE... THIS COMPANY IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL CHAD AND KAREN NEVER RETURN PHONE CALLS. THEY OWE ME BACK PAY FROM JUNE AND JULY AND HERE IT IS OCTOBER AND I HAVE STILL NOT RECIEVED MY MONEY THEY OWE ME. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT RENTING FROM ANY OF THERE COMMUNITIES. I KNOW ONCE MY LEASE IS UP I AM OUT OF THERE!!!!
The worst management company I ever had to deal with. The receptionist kept transferring me to supposedly upper management who handle the property I live in. I got nothing but voice mail three days in a row. Today I got a call back with voice message from Theresa to inform me that she will start her vacation in few minutes. If they are not able to manage why are they in the business of property management ? If the regional managers are not being a role model what do you expect from property managers. Work is not submitted on time and phone not being answered. Kiss my referrals goodbye. Will also be moving out soon.
I applied to the apartments, Leyland Pointe in Georgia but was not approved. And Ill start by saying that Shannon, the leasing specialist I was working with is amazing. They told me that they would begin processing my security deposit refund and that it would take 30 days before it would be ready for me to pick it up. Naturally, since the security deposit was a large sum of money, in the span of those 30 days (which is now up), I would call and check on the status of the check. Between January 22-24, I called and they let me know that the check was cut and was in the mail. Thats what is most startling to me at this point. Where is the check? Im located in Georgia and the corporate office is located in Minnesota. I have family that lives in Minnesota and Chicago and it does NOT take two weeks for mail to be delivered. Upon my confusion, I decided to call corporate to get a better understanding of where my money was. I was told that Jennifer H. (I forgot her last name) was the person I would need to speak with for that particular property. She didnt pick up the first time, so I left a voicemail. From there, which has now been THREE days, I have called several more times and left a couple more voice mails and have not heard from anyone! Instead, upon calling, I get routed to a voicemail of John Callahan. Not to mention, whatever woman receptionist they have picking up the phone is very rude and transferred me in the middle of me talking to her. There was a pleasant male receptionist who I spoke with this morning. He transferred me to Janet, who is in a position above Jennifer H., but surprise, surprise- she didnt pick up either. This is so unacceptable for a corporate office.
I live the Homer G. Phillips building in St. Louis and when you ask questions in the office no one knows nothing not even how the rent is collected and how to enter new banking information. When try calling the Dominium main office he only switches you from voice mail to voice mail. Very poor management skills.
I have never heard of this company before until I pulled my annual report in August and saw I had a derogatory mark on my credit for $1202 back from 2012. I looked them up. Have never lived in a complex owned by them so I dont know how they got my information but I am pissed. When pulling my credit reports, it only showed up on my equifax report which was weird. I immediately disputed it and the dispute was resolved. They removed it from my credit 3 weeks later (Aug 27th). Fast forward to today, I check my credit wise and see they added it back but this time through experian. I tried calling them and they dont even have a voicemail set up which tells you thats strange. If I cannot get a hold of them, my next step will be legal action. Id advise anyone else having issues with this company as I see so many negative reviews, to put pressure on them and dont let up.
I have been staying in my apartment for almost 10 year and really didnt have any complaints untill they start adding rule with no other option like the latest one is a parking permit and i was all good with it until i found out you had to licence in order to get one. Now i have to move my car every night on the street which by the way the area i live in you cant park on the street they didnt tell us that as tenets i have gotten 3 tickets they dont have any other options for us but take your risk so im paying rent cant park my car where i live.i call the manger office and she tells well theres nothing they can do and if can think of any ideas let her know. Dont you think you should thought about this before you inforced this rule.on top of that they finally give a new washer and dryer but its been almost a year and we still have to use our own debit cards to pay to use them. I really starting to feel like they dont care this property use to get tooken care of now it just starting to go down hill. We use to have office managers that cared the last four we had didnt and dont said to say
Pegasus Villas was once a decent place to live, however, the new manager is very GHETTO and does not keep her word! Her name is Gabby and she reports to Becky Smart who is her college buddy! This facility smells bad, has poor lighting and no security! My vehicle was vandalized twice within 5 monts and cost alot of money to repair! The manager Gabby is aware of drug use on the balcony of the 16th floor and the sale of drugs on the 14th floor! She also barters favors to certain tenants in return for goods! Do not lease from this facility in Dallas, Texas @ 7200 N Stemmons Frwy! Also, they increased 3 times in one (1) year and tenants were told that it would continue to go up! Greed! Many tenants are moving as quickly as they can due to the GHETTO environment and the attitude of the current manager GABBY! Not even the leasing agent could stand to work wit her and walked OUT! SHE IS PURE GHETTO! The building has become GHETTO since her arrival!
Manager Helen picks on people with disabilities, from Eugene. ever since going to her boss. she has been retaliation against me. and belittling me. im not the only person with a disability she has done this too
My daughter and her fiance and 5 year old son have lived at heritage gardens baldwin ga for 6 years never been late on their rent .about 2 months ago new tenants moved in above them about the same time the property came under new management.almost immediately the terror began with the new tenants .first of all my grandson is allergic to several things one being dogs the new tenants have a large dog that has prevented my grandson to be able to go out on their balcony because of dog hair flying from the balcony above .secondly the night time noise of several visitors in the above apartment making loud noises until the wee hours of the morning stomping on the floors over and over dribbling basketballs and sonetimes loud music my daughter has been to the manager several times to ask the manager to please talk to the tenants about the night time noise .to no avail the manager told her there was nothing she could do thats apartment life .if dominium is about customer satisfaction then why isnt there a set of rules for the tenants to follow in place .there was before she came when the other manager was there .when my daughter mentioned she was to the point of moving the manager told her that was fine plenty of people were looking for 2 and 3 bedroom apartments .is that how good tenants are being treated these days? Is that professional representation of dominium? She has been trying for weeks to speak with someone at dominium all the numbers she has no one answers !!!Her fiance has to get up at 330 am for work and the grandson is in school and they are barely getting a few hours sleep because of the excessive night time noise .
Thank twice and do your homework before applying. Very Malicious and have unfair practices. This company is strong handling seniors who have lived in this complex prior to this company taking over, The list goes on and on of how badly they are being treated!
My family and I lived in townhomes by Dominium and would never recommend them to anyone I know!! We gave our notice to vacate, rent was paid on time and paid till the last month of being there and they kept our deposit and put a collection of $1300 on my husband and my credit!!! Y’all about scamming people out of money and ruining people’s credit that they pick and choose to!
I lived in the Provinces Apartmens for 6 years. The first 3 werent so bad. From there it just went down hill! It is a Low income complex and the Sherriffs department were there on a daily basis, mostly for domestic and assualts. For those like myself that earned a living and actually pay your rent out of your own pocket, kept your place Clean and in great condition, you are repremended by them by raising the rent by 85 dollars a month in just 1 year! Maybe it was cause I complained about other tenants braking the rules on a constant basis ( mind you, the State paid there Rent), or maybe because I complained about my belcony roof leaking for 3 years and nothing ever came of it! Maybe it was because my garage was broken into and some tenants seem to think it was an inside job! When my lease was up in April and I chose to leave cause I couldnt afford the rent increase and had grown to hate the place, I was unable to pay my last months rent cause of a deposit and rent on a new place, and also my mother had passed away which was another financial burden. When I contacted Dominium to work out a payment plan, they told me they didnt do that and that they are reporting me to the credit bureau. Well, Ill be more than happy to report them to the Better Business Bureau!! I have all documents, email correspondence, and pictures of things to back up my reason for this Review.
I lived in oakdale mn in apts 1st, then we moved to Wi into towmhomes because the management and maintenance were awesome in oakdale. We had 3 managers in the two yrs there. Some better then others. Maintenance was good and polite. We moved to be back in MN and yes we had issues getring all deposit back cause of carpet, which was stained when moved in. I called and it got resolved and got my check. Im looking into renting through them again. I left message and hoping to get a call. I live in a worse runned place now and wont rent from this company again. Many timea call upset and rude about stuff and makes staff cranky. I was to the point and polite since corp People didnt so this to you.
They are rude, dont care for their tenants, never available, and are only about money. Heaven forbid if you go through a hard time in life. Consider yourself thrown to the streets immediately. I have seen SEVERAL families thrown out on the streets and dominiom could care less. It is not a friendly community at all. Dont move there, unless you are looking not deal with anybody. Dont rent with them!!!!!
I rent from Dominium and they run a very sad community at the apartment I live at.I’ll be leaving soon but they let mental health people with large dog’s run and bark in the apartment and do nothing, there totally incompetent. We get a new apartment manager’s every 6 months! Poorly trained management at minimal pay. It’s become a joke in St. Paul!Keep looking! You’ll be glad you did.
I moved out ya property February 2018 suppose to been got my deposit back and still havent received it Everytime I call the apts complex no answer call the Corp office they transfer me I been leaving messages still MARch and still havent heard or talk to nobody Wheres my money
I lived at Three Rivers Landing Apts. in Gulfport Ms. for 2 years. When we first moved in the apartment wasnt cleaned very well. The carpet had a bad odor. We told the management that it wasnt clean. They supposedly sent someone back out to clean it. There was still an odor in the carpet. I decided I would just do it myself as I had to move from my previous apartment. The first year was nice, the place was clean and quite. Into the second year it started going downhill. Lots of loud music all hours of the night and trashy neighbors moved in and litterally threw their trash on the ground. People hanging out and drinking, being loud and rude. No consideration for their neighbors. I had neighbors kids tear up my solar lights and steal things off my front porch. I talked to management and was told to call the police. Called police and was told to talk to management. People across the road let their dogs run around off a leash. I almost got bit by one dog. Again I talked to management and nothing. Also the maintenance was nice and came out quickly but they are not qualified for some of the work they do. I finally moved and I do not recommend this place. They need better management not just on the local level but the corporate level. I have tried for two months now to contact the corporate office but no calls back. Oh and they didnt mind keeping 95.00 of my deposit for carpet cleaning and the stove replacement rings which were also not clean when I moved in. I even asked the girl in the office to do a walk through before I turned my keys in and she said management said she didnt have to. I am happy I left there.Jennifer the number you gave me for Brian Zitnik I have called several times and got his voicemail I left messages and he has never returned my calls.
My family and I have lived at the Canterbury Ridge apartments, in Canton GA for 8 years. It started out ok but, oh the horror stories!! Mice, rats, sewage coming back into the apt through the tub and outside, exploding toilets... you name it. But believe it or not, this is not the worst of it! In Feb of 2017, work had to be done in the bathroom bc the tiles in the shower were collapsing into the wall. They did the work but the wall was left open for 3 days. Within 2 weeks ( from 2/16 to 2/28), there were roaches in my apt. We had never dealt with this issue in 7.5 years. In March, there was yet another leak in the wall ( same wall, just the other side, in the hall) which forced them to tear out the floors, carpet and bottom of the wall near the front entrance. That happened on March 14th. By April 4th, the wall was STILL OPEN and the floors were still concrete! A week shy of being a month with open walls, they were fixed. But by then, the roach problem had spiraled out of control! And here we are 7 months after the first complaint and it has only gotten worse. The management sent the exterminator each time we asked, but it wasnt until my husband was home and witnessed the exterminators work, that we understood why nothing had changed. He was in and out in 3- 5 mins and would only spray the corners of the kitchen! by this time... the roaches are EVERYWHERE! AND I mean EVERYWHERE IN EVERY ROOM! We couldnt even sleep b/c they would be on us at night. They were in our kids beds, in our clothes... just everywhere. We have video and pictures! I was stressed to the point of having to go to the hospital. And although the mgmt. office was responsive, they were not solution oriented! They did the bare minimum to help. When they offered to bomb the apt.. maintenance came to my home with these little orange raid roach bombs from the grocery store. Not PRO strength. WTH! What was that supposed to do! In a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apt. 6 bombs... a total of 3 dead roaches found. SMH! We were informed by mngmt that the problem stemmed from an apt above us that had an infestation and when the walls were opened up, they came in. They should have been proactive and treated all of the apts in the line to keep it from spreading. Its so bad that the roaches camp outside of my front door and try to run in as I open it. The deck cant be used b/c when you open the door, they run in! We have tried buying everything to do it our selves. We have spent almost 100.00 on our own. We even caulked up the gap they left in the wall when they fixed it. Ive cried and cried! I have an 19 yr old, 8yr old and 4 yr old ( all girls) who never had to deal with this. I keep a very clean home. You can drop by unexpected any day and wed be ready to receive you! Its now September and we are still dealing! They offered to do a deep treatment in the walls which we were excited about. The day comes, ( today 9/8) for them to treat and they just happen to forget to tell us that all cabinets and closets have to be cleared out! SMH!!!! WHAT? And then asked if we could do it in 10- 15 mins? WHAT?? NOO.... we cannot! Why werent we told this last week? SO NOW, we have to wait 3 more days... I wish it was easy enough for us to pick up and move, but it isnt. Oh..and the same wall that had to be repaired bc of water damage, I went to kill one of these invaders and my thumb went trough the wall!! The same WALL! (On 08/01) Its rotted for sure b/c my thumb should not have gone through it!!! But, instead of investigating the water damage to the wall, they patched it up and kept going. The staff is friendly and the maintenance team does what they can but this place is terrible! They put band- aids on cancers! I cannot wait to get out! And even when we get out...we have to be cautious about these nasty things coming with us! I have NEVER BEEN SO FRUSTRATED ABOUT LIVING SOMEWHERE! I JUST WANT TO SCREAM!!!!!!!!
Great company with beautiful properties and incredible staff.
I MOVED IN HERE BECAUSE IT WAS FOR DISABLED AND ELDERLY PEOPLE..IM 61 AND DISABLED..IT WASNT TO BAD AT FIRST..IN THE LAST 5-6 MONTHS ITS JUST WENT DOWN HILL..WE HAVE ALMOST MORE YOUNG PEOPLE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 THAN THERE IS ELDERLY PEOPLE..FROM DOPE USERS TO PEOPLE THAT SHOULD BE IN A 24 HR, CARE PLACE..ITS SUSPOSE TO BE A NON-SMOKING BUILDING..STILL PEOPLE SMOKING IN THEIR APT....I HAVE TO LISTEN TO A DOG BARK FOR 3-4 HOURS EVERY EVENING BECAUSE SHE WONT TAKE HER DOG WITH HER..THE HALLWAY SMELLS LIKE CAT URINE..WAY TOO MANY ANIMALS IN HERE NOT BEING CLEANED UP AFTER..AND BEING TAKEN CARE OF..I WOULD NEVER ADVISE ANYONE TO EVER LIVE IN A DOMINIUM PROPERTY
They are very unaccomidating, and do not understand their residents. I would never live here again because they are a rude and disinviting company.
Calling the news and reporting elderly abuse at one of their properties by the staff. Since they do not seem to care I will have the news look into it.
To emphasize prior posts, for which I completely agree!
Greeting to whom it may concern, My name is Forris L. Stanley III and for the last 3 years Ive been a tenant at Crosswind in Des Moines. I would like to bring to your attention an issues that has become so uncomfortable it can no longer be keep private. For, my concern is if it continues to go on not only will it serve as a new acceptable way of treating people, but worse it can have dire affects on my living situation. Since the start of the year Crosswinds have been going through transitioning period. In the mist of it all, as a tenant pardons were given as we were told to be patience throughout this adjustment. During so it has been 3 different Office Managers, to most tenants surprise without any orientation, and by the time a familiar report was established they left only to be replaced by someone new. And again as a tenant Ive been patience as Ive waited for my needs to be met. ( i.e. work orders). Who has been great with dealing with this ordeal with us tenants is the Regional Manager Katherine. Shes been most compassionate with our adjustment....this was my 2nd attempt at trying to be the bigger person in mending how rocky of a start Catherine and I had. I even offered to assist with helping other tenant get use to her way of doing things, only to be scoffed at. She has now made me uncomfortable. Insinuating that Im simple minded while at the same time telling me if I try I can figure things out. Ive gone out my way to be the most respectful to her. Even though she spoke down to my wife. If a review of records are done youll see Im a good tenant, even paying more then I should sometime. Ive been renting apartment for over 15 years and has never received a written notice of violating the rules until now. Most of my neighbors know me and respect me, until the transition there was no stress for me at Crosswinds. Crosswinds was home. The new office manager Catherine has no respect for me. She does not even want to be cordial. She has told me and intimidated me by making it clear that she is the authority. I come to you all for I do not know how to remedy this situation. It has gotten so out of hand, I feel in jeopardy. I do not want to move nor be evicted. I do not want to feel under duress while visiting the Management office. Nor would I like to be ruled with an iron fist. To which Catherine stated is her way of managing. Now I ask, is any of this acceptable?-Respectfully Forris Stanley
Dominium took over management at my apartment, then hired Formula Construction to renovate these apartments. They have left my front door unlocked numerous times, and I have complained to management about it. Then my very expensive beats earbuds came up missing. Still have not had this issue resolved; see if they get their rent next month!
Takes over properties, invests funds to improve them, and turns losers into winners. Great turnaround abilities.
Absolutely awful. They recently took over my apartment complex and it sucks. They refuse to do requested maintenance and are incredibly rude. I really wish that 1 start wasnt as low as I could go. 1 star is too generous with them.
Every review is one star except for one. You be the judge.
We have water damage and mold and was told by Vanessa the manager that she doesnt care
This company will take your money then say that you owe more money from no where, also there office manager turn over is crazy then they have no idea what they are doing for the tenants that live in the apartment building this is the worst, the apartment its self is nice but the company behind it is horrible not happy with this company at all...
I would not rent with the Dominium Apartment company again. I do not feel like they care about me as a tenant and I think they will try to generate revenue anyway possible. I would try to avoid this company and any of their properties at all cost.
Poor management! The property always smells like marijuana! The security cameras do not even work! Never clean!!
No one anwers the phone
I called all week to make a complaint about the complex where I live Regency Palms in Port Richey FL I have a neighbor who sells drugs and no one spoke to me. I left messages and no one answered me. I decided to call the central offices to see if they could help me since the administration here has not done anything about it but I can see where so much incompetence comes from. That person is not on the lease and the same people who come to buy drugs enter our apartment thinking that it belongs to the neighbor. Same person who mistreats his partner with violence and they have called the police several times but the administration does NOTHING. I imagine that in all the Dominium complexes that they have under their management they are equally terrible in services to their residents. They are a disaster.
