I would not recommend this mail salon. They damaged my nails with the grinder tool, I see white spots on my nails indicating damage. My nails arent smooth on the tips, they feel rough. My French tips are not even. There are bubbles. They tried to over charge me when I only asked for a gel color change. You can tell they are just trying to be fast and get people out of the door. I will never come back. Dont waste your time here.

The second picture is what I wanted. The girl was obviously irritated she had to do it, was rushing, and every single nail has lines that look like a child did it. Charged me $20 extra then what I usually pay just because it took forever for them to do, if I would’ve known I’d be paying $70 I would’ve went to paradise nails in Orem that are expensive like that but always do an amazing job. Waste of money when I always have to fix them when I get home

We love this place, and have been going for a long time. They have taken away the wax, they charge more for the pedicures. They charge $5 if you do want the wax. My wife and I use it for a date, so we still go.

I asked for manicure and pedicure. While the lady was working on my pedicure. A group of ladies walked in. So she hurried up with my pedicure, Then without cleaning my hands for manicure she just put on nail polish. I asked her if she can at least trim my nails which she did, but that’s all. Then polished. When it came time for payment,, she wanted to know if I want to tip her. Of course not. I absolutely do not recommend this place. It’s a waste of your time and money.

So the woman who did my pedicure was great and my feet look great. The man who did my manicure was super aggressive and not very nice, he didnt go down to my cuticle and he hurt my fingers by using the buffer on my whole finger not just my nail, it cut the middle of my finger and they are super sore, Ive been getting my nails done for years and have never had this issue before. I probably wont be going back for any other service.

Other nail artists were good with my aunt but mine was rough and rude and didnt care when I told her she was hurting my fingers. I said ouch too many times and had a bloody cuticle when she was done. However, my nails look nice. The eyebrow waxer we had was awesome.

This is the first time I came here to get a pedicure. They did a really good job- you get a wax done and a hot stone massage on your feet and legs, which I’ve never experienced before. It was really nice! The guy doing my nails was friendly, didn’t talk much but was nice. My only complaint was that the card machine was down so I had to get cash out at the bank down the street.

I only went to this nail salon because a friend recommend them. It was the worst pedicure I’ve ever paid for. Let me start with the chairs. I’ve been to many salons and can say I know how use one. My nail technician notice I couldn’t start mine, instead of her saying something about it, she ignored me about whether they turn on or not. She was in such a hurry and sent me of to the dryers. My polish got ruined. A different tech offered to fix them, since my original nail tech was off to the next customer, but honestly I just couldn’t wait to get out of there. Not a very clean place and needs friendlier staff. Super disappointed

I went to get acrylic nails, wait time was not bad at all. I never leave reviews but my experience was so bad. The lady I had was rushing and didn’t do anything I wanted. All my fingers had a different shape and size nail. They were not even at all, they were horrible and she kept filing my nails until they bled !!! I have never had a salon make me bleed. PLEASE do not go here. Definitely not worth it and the price is just as high as a top quality salon.

We had a reservation for 2 and they got us in at 2:25 because they were so busy. Being busy is good but if we made a reservation, we should have our reservation time slot. They did do a great job and they did a little leg scrub and parafin wax treatment!

I’ve been visiting a different nail salon every time I go, to find the one I like. This one was average but, not horrible. I would have liked more actual massage for the deluxe.

I have been going to Royal Nails in PG for about 2 years. I love getting my nails done and my toes done. My mom and my sisters love getting their toes done here too. They have good prices too, not too expensive. They always do a great job. They are always nice to me as well. I give 5 stars because I’ve never had a bad experience here, out of the 2 years I have been going.

I made an appointment at 10 this morning for 12 this afternoon when I called the guy was rude but I made the appointment anyway because sometimes people have hard days but when I arrived in time for my appointment the man said he didnt have time today. I expressed to him I had an appointment and he was so aggravated he just told me to sit down. I left because I work hard for my money i dont have to get my nails done but I would like to however I dont have to deal with disrespect and I dont like to feel like Im imposing on someone elses time when spending my money. I wont be back unfortunately.

I have been going here for years with my mom. I love the rocks and wax. A couple of the ladies are great, but the last few times we have gone I have had my skin cut too close or have had uneven polish. They have cut my mom twice where she was bleeding pretty good. I have tried to give them our business but must go elsewhere from now on. It is not worth the risk.

I have been going to Royal nails for years for my acrylic nails and Pedicures. However, They have jacked their prices way up and give you less. They want to charge you 8-10 dollars more, if you want your nails a tiny bit longer than short, short. Its ridiculous!!!! Plus I feel like they are snotty, they rush and are rough with your nails. They do not do a good job now.I will NOT be returning, ever.

Honestly, I have been coming here for a while with my friends but I never loved the service or quality, but today was just awful. I came in to get acrylics, and part of my skin on my finger got glued to the nail. The woman helping me tried to rip my skin off, but instead just made this huge painful cut in my hand. She apologized, and then moved on to cut me on another finger with her tool. I just stayed calm, and said it was alright. By the end, she was putting lotion on one of my hands and I started asking for a discount, since I got cut so badly, and she was offended by that. She wouldnt finish putting the lotion on, and talked to those around her very furiously. I tried to be as kind as I could, but it made it a very uncomfortable experience for me. My nails look okay, but the service was not good, along with the salon being very dusty, and low quality. I would not recommend going here.

Great service and well trained staff. Sometimes the massage chair you get doesnt work as well as others, but thats a small thing. I lost my wedding ring and although they didnt find it when I called at first, they called me back later on and told new it had been found. They were honest and immediately handed it to me when I went to pick it up. Nails and pedicures always look great. Good pampering here.I will note that they get slammed on Saturdays and sometimes things get a little less relaxed when theyre trying to handle too many customers. Try to go during the week sometime especially in the morning before it gets too busy for optimal pampering.

My mom and I have been going here for a while now and we’ve had great experiences. However, I went today and for a pedicure and a full set put on. The girl who did my pedicure was very rude and did my pedicure super quickly. Then the guy who did my full set did a TERRIBLE job! All my nails are uneven. He cut me 10 different times. My nails are also at a diagonal. I asked him to fix it and he didn’t listen to me. I just had an terrible experience and I’m super upset with my nails. It was not worth the money at all and now I have to go pay some other nail salon money to fix the mistakes of this salon. I would not recommend.

I brought my 7 yr daughter in to get her hands and toes painted, an hour later the polish on the finger nails started coming off. (My daughter was brushing her teeth.) It should not have come off so quick. By morning 2 more came off. I went over to royal nails in pg and asked if they would repaint the 3 that came off because I don’t have that color and plus I paid $15. They said no. They told me the polish only lasts a day or two. (I didn’t do gel nails) I was disappointed. My daughter was so excited to have her nails done but it only lasted an hour. Next time I guess I do gel nails or just do it myself and save $15.

I always take my self and my mom here for pedicures. Its been the spot for years! but it’s unfortunate when I see such a huge difference in effort and quality between my manicure and pedicure and my moms. I pay the same but here if you’re a guy the effort is hardly there. I came in with almost perfect nails! I just needed a touch up and I left with nails that look like the Grand Canyon covered in a clear coat.

I made an appointment today for 1:30 but couldn’t get there until 1:45. They quickly got me seated even though I knew they were busy, and it was my fault I was late. Mio did a wonderful job with my pedicure. I’ve only ever had pedicures here but you can’t beat what they do for the price- $25 for pedicure including hot rocks, warm towels, paraffin, the whole works it feels. I’ve had a great experience every time I’ve come (about once a year) and I will definitely go back again! Thank you!

This is the first review Ive ever written on anything and I have to say this is the worst business. (I would give zero stars if I could.)They are not friendly, its very assembly line feel, and tense atmosphere. I asked the lady to fix part of the nail that wasnt completed and she was so put out. Not worth it!

When I go and get a pedicure, I always take a friend who gets a pedicure and a manicure. The people that work there do a FABULOUS job of giving you more than your moneys worth with removing all the dead skin and CAREFULLY cutting it away and then wax, hot rocks and lotion. WOW!! I always tip big because they depend on your tip as part of their wages. Giving them a $2 or $3 tip on all that work they give you - SHAME ON YOU!!

If I could give no stars I would.I came in for a gel fill, and the lady did not prep my nails correctly, then with the actual painting she painted them the wrong color, when I told her it was the wrong color she told me no it was the right one and told me it was to late to change. So I was like okay whatever. Once we were finished I noticed black hair like particles in my nails, and when I asked to fix it she told me it was to late. She also got gel polish on my skin and didnt cap off the tips of my nails. When paying they charged me for a full set when I told her I only got a fill she told me okay and still charged me full price. Horrible, horrible. Dont waste your money here.

I’ve been to this Royal Nails salon about 5 times now and have never had a complaint. They are always helpful, always nice. This time specifically I was super impressed with their work. I got a gel mani/pedi and I can honestly say it’s the best one I’ve ever had. They took their time, the gel wasn’t too thick and they shaped my nails perfectly! This salon does get busy at times, but I’ve never been turned away or had to wait for more than 5-10 minutes.

Ive been coming here for years, and truly the service just keeps getting worse. The pedicure itself is usually ok, its fast, and not super relaxing.. but they usually do a decent job.. its also cheaper than a few around...however, i am never impressed with the service. I LOVE this place! They are so good and professional. Took my daughter with me and the guy doing her pedicure was so sweet to her and treated her so good - he was cute with the flowers he put on her toes, and made sure she was felt comfortable. I highly recommend this nail salon. Ive only had pedicures done here.

I am pretty dissapointed. They charged me $18 extra because I got two colors instead of one and I did a very simple nail design (dots) on one nail of each hand. My nails were bumpy and uneven afterward. I get my nails done regularly at different places and Ive never been charged for more than one color and Ive only been charged like $5 extra for simple designs. I was blown away by how much I was charged and the poor quality of the finished product.

Prepare to be pampered. The only place that have the hot wax with your pedicure.2021 update... No more hot wax! Well, unless you want to pay extra. Charging more for pedicures and keep taking extras away.

My mother, sisters and I, always go here for our pedicures! We love the people there and we love the quality of their services. A family/friend showed me this place, and since then, I honestly wouldnt go anywhere else. Plus, flowers or designs on your nails is free! I love this place and will always be a faithful customer!

I went in a few times before thinking it would be different. But last time I went in, there was an older man doing my nails. (I believe he’s the only man that works there). He was sanding down my nails and got right up to my skin and kept cutting me and every time I’d pull away because of the pain, he’d get mad and pull my hand back and do it over again. He made me bleed on lots of my fingers. It was very painful and very very uncomfortable the entire time.

My daughter and I went here from neighbors recommendations. Royal Nails did not disappoint. We both got gel pedis. We loved the wax and got rock treatment.

Absolutely awful experience. First, my nails would look better had I done them myself or even had my five-year-old niece do them. Not only are my nails painted, but the skin around them too. Simply awful. And my cuticles and nail beds look awful too... I had to ask her to fix and actually do them five times, and then I finally just stopped asking. Then, when I pointed out a corner of one of my nails that wasnt painted, her solution was to just clip it off and file it down instead of painting it, which made the nail uneven and significantly shorter than the others. The entire manicure and shellac application took FIFTEEN minutes. They rush in ridiculous ways and it just turned out AWFUL. I will NEVER go here again and if youre considering it, you may as well just throw your money away. Do not go here!

I went into Royal Nails located at 238 State St Pleasant Grove, Ut 84062 at around 11:00 am on 9/30/2017 to get a pedicure and manicure. I was there for about an hour, hour and a half. The level of service I was given was not worth what I paid. I have been getting manicures and pedicures since I was 13 and when you get both it takes at least 2 and a half hours to get them done perfectly. I have no problem paying $85.00 to get my nails done. I have done this before on multiple occasions. When I was done I was not given a total and asked how much I was going to tip. I WAS ASKED FOR A TIP! That is completely unprofessional and I couldnt believe I was asked that. I tried to talk to the merchant and explain that the level of service I was given and the way my nails turned out was not worth what I paid. I was willing to accept even a partial refund since they did use their products on me. And I am willing to pay for those products. The owner just yelled at me and said that they give pedicures differently. I told her that is fine ill pay for the terrible pedicure I was given but that I would have to go somewhere else to get my nails done because they were all different shapes, lengths and thicknesses. She yelled at me on the phone and was so rude. I have never been treated this way in my entire life. I wont be going back ever.

The guy cracked his knuckles on my legs while giving me a “massage”. He hit the tops of my feet to massage them. He dropped his tools in the floor and acted like it was my fault and then used them anyway...not sure if that’s ok or not. I came home and washed my feet really good! Won’t go back...

I took my husbands mom and his sister Tweet yesterday. Their first time EVER getting a pedicure.The person who did tweets got nail polish all over her feet and didnt fix it.The person who did my husbands mom made a yuck face when she had to start doing her feet.And my person didnt say one word to me till the very end asking for a freakin TIP.Like who does that? I will NEVER go to that place again. What an awful experience. Worst place ever and I will never recommend it to anyone.

This has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had at a salon.. i normally don’t say anything but i just went here for the first time and it was miserable. The gentleman was not gentle at all. He made me bleed twice and was very harsh on the tools he was using.. he did not ask how short or long or the shape he just did what he wanted.. i will not go back.

Stopped by for a simple fill and got a torture session! Filed off all the acrylic which then started burning my nails, then after he put the acrylic on and started filing kept getting my skin, ripped the skin away from under my nails! Made them so short that I could feel the skin under my nails get filed! Didn’t get oil or lotion like most places. Left with the sorest fingers ever! Will never go back! On top of that they were so uneven that I had to go home and refile and shape my nails myself!

I frequent royal nails. Its typically an okay visit-not great. However today was different. I was not treated as a guest, but as a nuisance from the moment I walked in. The woman spoke in her language the entire time to the girl next to me and was not polite. My nails didnt get cleaned up thoroughly, in fact, I had to come straight home and file them more to get rid of jagged edges and take off a few more cuticle pieces. I am disappointed in their lack of quality.

I felt like there was a little bit of miscommunication or dishonesty by the staff when I went to pay. It would be very helpful if there was a place where prices were listed that customers could see easily, but there wasnt.

The guy who did my pedicure was so rough and basically kept hitting my legs. When I told him to stop or not do something because it hurt he was so rude about it. I wouldve been better off doing it myself.

Overall the lady that did my Pedicure was awesome... my only concern is the hot wax... i wish they would do everyones feet in plastic bags(for the wax) instead of dipping it in the same bucket the previous client dipped theirs.. its DISGUSTING and might cause some health issues... but anyways they also do hot lava rocks for the same price (no extra cost)... ILL BE GOING HERE EVERY TIME TO GET A PEDI :)

This is my all time favorite salon. They do the paraffin wax for your feet and use their little razor to get the dead skin off. The only salon Ive found to date that does this. If you dont know what Im talking about, you have got to get a pedicure here. They go the extra mile for you. This isnt your average pedicure. I highly recommend this salon, Id never go somewhere else. I live in Payson and its well worth the 45 minute drive to go up there!!

I will never come back! First of all I asked for medium long nails and I got barley above working length! They are soo uneven it looks like the first day in nail school on my right hand. Oh and he also cut 4 of my fingers so bad that he had to glue them to make them stop bleeding! He also never asked me if I was okay when he cut me, he didnt listen when I asked for new longer tips because he cut them so short. Overall my fingers hurt and it wasnt even worth it because my nails were done so sloppily.

I have been going here for a few years now granted i am younger but i’ve still been going here for a while now the last few times i have went though have been horrible my nails were not the color i asked for they were also uneven they cut me every time i go but the last time i went then man ripped off my scrunchie and was moving my hand and he cut my abunch of times didn’t apologize and covered it with glue this place was the worst i won’t be going here anymore

Dont take your kids here. They are mean and will make them cry. My kids wasnt being obnoxious and they were still mean and aggressive. Go to sweet nails instead.

Not impressed at all. They didn’t scrub my feet for my pedicure. There’s still polish on the skin around my toes that they didn’t get off. The polish is uneven and bumpy. The last time I went here the person giving me my pedicure made me bleed and didn’t even apologize. Needless to say I’m not coming back!

I like them and think they do a good job. My only holdup is how they refuse to accept anything but cash. Its pretty off putting how adamant they are about it and make you feel bad if you dont have any.

Alright so let me just start with Ive been coming here for years and I am normally not disappointed. I went this last weekend for my birthday and wow... I went from a 5 star to a 2 star rating. First, from the moment I sat down the lady doing my nails seemed annoyed at me. She cleaned my nails but didnt soak them or push my cuticles back in the slightest. (I went in with a hangnail and left with one too) she just immediately started gluing tips on. Fine. She kept asking me about color but then ended up giving me a French, which I like so whatever. I wish you wouldnt have kept asking about color if you had no intention of letting me choose it. The shape of my tips is rough edges, and they arent evenly shaped, which makes sense since she didnt really shape my nails to begin with. I had a coworker today tell me it looks like someone glued marbles onto your nails and I AGREE. the nails look like bubble nails and are ridiculous looking.Then onto my pedicure. Normally the pedicures here are amazing and relaxing, but my chair wasnt even turned on. My water was lukewarm. I sat down, put my feet in and she immediately pulled them out. In all I had about 5 minutes or less of lukewarm water for my feet. (She had run the water while doing my nails) I didnt get the callus remover (which is the whole reason I do this) and my massage was so quick i didnt even feel relaxed.Ive come here time and time again and referred people here because of cost, and experience but honestly? Im finding somewhere new and Im willing to pay more because this was an awful awful experience. and for my birthday too! Come on, you ladies can do better 😟

Awful experience! I hadnt had a pedicure in a while and so I was happy to get one done. When I went in I found that most of the ladies who worked there didnt speak English or limited English. The lady who gave me my pedicure spoke very little English. My feet needed a lot of help. The lady who did my feet kept speaking to the lady next to her in Chinese about my feet. I do not speak Chinese, but I could tell that the lady was making comments about how bad my feet where and scowling that she had to be the one to do my feet. When she was about done with my toes I noticed that the gem she put on my toe was coming up. I asked her to push it down so it would stay, but of course she had no idea what I was taking about. Another lady came over and she wasnt any more help. I gave up and just hoped it would stay. I went and had a manicure and then I left. A very short time after I noticed that the gem and part of the polish had came off of my toe. I went back in to have it fixed. The ladies in the shop were giving pedicures to other customers and when I came into the shop they all looked up, saw me, and started to laugh. I mentioned that I didnt know what was so funny that I wanted my toe fixed. They did fix it, but were extremely rude and unprofessional. They do an OK job on your feet, but their customer service is awful!

Had an appointment set for 3 weeks. I show up to have Cindy tell me that Dee Dee is sick. I said Id wait for her until it was convenient, and she replies that shes too busy AND theres no one else available. How can you not even call your customer to reschedule?!... And why do I even care when I had an experience similar to others where they soak you in acetone and grind you down so hard that you hurt terribly for 3 days afterwards. They disregard you if they cut you. They change your powder sns dip to acrylic just because they say its easier for them! Well this big tipper and person who never said anything is finally saying NO MORE!

My fiancé went here this is the review she wanted to write: I never write reviews, but I had such a horrible expience at this place. It was the worst service Ive expienced. When I went in to get my nails done for my wedding, the lady was really impatient while I was picking out the color. She did a horrible job on my nails. She didnt even push down my cuticles, and the nail polish was not straight across or even near the cuticles. The nail that had the design was smudged and the letters were very inconsistent. On the positive side, I liked the acrylic nails; She just did a horrible job with painting them and doing the design. I told her what I didnt like about it, she was so rude about it and somehow she made it worse when she tried to fix it. So I told her again what I didnt like about it (i wasnt even being overly picky!). She was upset that I complained. After that she would not even look at me or talk or anything. Finally, I gave up and went somewhere else to get them done and they did awesome. When I made a complaint to Royal nails and let them know about my service and how this was very important to me because these were my wedding nails, they did not even care what I had to say. Ive gone to multiple different places to get my nails done, and I have never felt so uncomfortable while getting them done.

1. Went in for a pedicure and acrylics, the nail tech never spoke to me until she got mad, charged me, and asked for a tip.2. I was taken 7mins past my appt. time even after showing up 10mins early to pick my color, and verbalizing the time of my appt.3. The nail tech kept pushing me to get shellac, fine ok I agreed, but yet she got upset when I asked her to shape my acrylic a certain way, she said, $5 more plus $2 more because you want glitter on ring fingers her body language told it all, plus suddenly she broke silence & began speaking in her language over to the other nail tech. So I said, ok, no Shellac, shape my nails how I want it and apply regular nail polish please. In conclusion, she ended up deducting the $5 just so she could put Shellac on instead. which business wise it makes more sense, she figured, why loose the Shellac sell over the charge of shaping nails.Will not go back! Terrible customer service for the price that I payed & my acrylics dont even look symmetrical, nail polish on toes doesnt even look smooth, I could have spent $70 somewhere else. Which by the way its to much considering its Utah, not even in California you pay that much for the quality of service Royal Nails provides!!!!

Horrible experience way to rushed I took my 16 year old daughter in and the were rude the entire time. Her nails were chipped and smudged within 10 mins because they wanted her chair for someone else so they only dried for maybe 2 mins then we noticed they are not straight and she is picking off all the acrylic they left around them. Worst nail salon I have ever been to and will tell everyone I know to never go there. Horrible service does not even come close to what we experienced.

I paid for both a manicure and pedicure and was kinda in a rush after sitting 45 minutes in the chair and they hadnt started my pedicure so by the end I was ready to get out he asked how I liked my nails and I told him I didnt that they didnt look good and he said okay go pay up there. Awful service that night I got home and realized like 10 flaws my toes already had chips in the top of them and look awful and my nails (shellac) looked like they had already been on for 3 weeks because they didnt go to the bottom of my nail and now less than a week later they are falling off no picking just falling. Its ridiculous. I would never go back or recommend them to anyone

I went to have my acrylic nail set removed and a manicure done. The gentleman who removed my acrylics and prepped me for my manicure destroyed my cuticles, made a couple of my fingers bleed, and was quite aggressive with my hands and arms while he was filing and buffing. While he was filing my nails, he actually would whack my fingers that were (apparently) in the way of his filing with the nail file.I also thought that the acrylic removal was a little overpriced (most places Ive been to in the area only charge $5-$8, whereas I was charged $10 here).However, the young lady who gave me my manicure was extremely sweet and took great care with my nails and ensuring that the shade of polish was what I wanted and done well. She even cleaned up some stray nails that the gentleman missed.Overall, I didnt exactly enjoy my experience, so I dont think I will be coming back. Unless I can guarantee that the gentleman who made my hands bleed isnt the one doing my manicure.
