I wish I could give more stars. This is one of the best salons I have been too! The entire staff is kind, loving, and understanding. I am always so excited to get my nails done because I have the BEST nail technician ever!!! (Tanisha Barlow)I will never go anywhere else. Tanisha takes her time in every set of nails that she does to make sure they are perfect, you can tell she has a love for nails. I was recommended by a friend to go here for my first Brazilian wax. The spa was clean and cute and the staff made me feel comfortable. They were so good to answer any questions I had. The wax was way quicker and less painless than I thought it would be! Having the Brazilian was so nice and now I go back every 4 weeks because I love it so much. Now I am recommending Brazilians to all my friends and I always tell them to go to calm spa and salon!

I love Calm Spa and Salon. Maddie is great with thin, fine hair, and Chloe is awesome at eyebrows tinting! The salon itself is a fun place with a happy, refreshing vibe -- they have a boutique in the front, so Ive gotten some jewelry before, too. Its a nice place for a friend or child to wait, too, of I have to drag them along to my appointment.Also, they do some spa treatments on kids -- like manicures and pedicures; my step-daughter loves it!

100/10 recommend getting a wax by Jessica :) She is seriously the best. She gets it done so quickly and makes you feel comfortable through the entire thing. I just got my hair colored and cut on Saturday and it was AMAZING. Kelli did such an awesome job. She was so thorough. My hair looks amazing and it feels incredible. The scalp massage was great! Everything was worth the money. Even though I have to drive a little farther to get there, I think Ive found my new favorite salon!

Carmen did an amazing job with my facial! She makes sure to fully explain the process and make sure you are comfortable. She is extremely detail oriented and made my skin feel absolutely amazing! Definitely the best facial Ive ever had!

I came here for a hair cut after my wife has been here a few times for trims and colors.Here hair is always fantastic after each visit. Calm Spa is a perfect mix of competitive pricing and great work. My wife and I like this because we feel like it is mutually beneficial and leaves us flexibility to be more generous with the tip to the stylist.I went in to cut my year worth of COVID growth and the stylist was able to do what I was hoping for on the top with one pass of the scissors. Also they throw in a shampoo as part of the service. Their product they use is AMAZING. They use and sell Kevin Murphy I loved it so much I will likely go back just to buy product from them.All in all it was good service at a good price for a place like this one. $20-$30 for a mens cut.

Tanisha does my nails at Calm and she is absolutely wonderful! I’ve been a nail biter my whole life until I met Tanisha and the wonderful Luminary system. Tanisha knows nails and she is so kind and a delight to talk to. Her attention to detail is incredible. I can’t say enough! Highly highly highly recommend Calm and especially Tanisha!!!

I have been getting my nails done from Tanisha at calm for years and she is the best nail artist I have ever gone to! She is always up to try my crazy ideas and my nails look amazing every single time!! I love Calm! I was very nervous to get my hair done but Elle Baker did an amazing job! She took the time to speak with me before doing my hair and find what I like best. She really knows her stuff! She gave me a partial balayage and a trim. She worked wonders on my hair.

Kelli cut my hair today and did an incredible job. I needed someone last minute and she fit me in. She had never cut my hair before but I told her what I wanted and she did exactly that.Before this haircut I would say on a good day I’m a solid 5 out of 10 & 6 out of 10 If you were to ask my mother. After the haircut I’m easily a 9.5!!! I’ve had to decline a few phone calls while writing this review I don’t recognize the number but I’m pretty sure its GQ calling. I have been receiving services at Calm spa and salon for over 2 years. I have noticed a huge difference in my sun damage and overall skin elasticity. I receive micro needling on my face and have recently added the neck!! I love the results and the professionalism at Calm spa. Saw this salon was highly praised, decided to give them a try for a hair color change, wanted to go red, something Ive been looking forward to getting done since Covid started. Booked with Etika for a consult visit to discuss what I wanted, price, etc. I had a Saturday afternoon consult appointment booked and she texts me in the morning, wondering if I can come within the times she said, all of which were in the next hour- Super, super short notice but I was free, was okay with it and came in for the consult. Later, I came in for the actual color appointment. All done, went home and got a closer look at my hair. She didnt dye my roots and the color was off, blotchy/uneven looking in some areas. I called the salon with my concerns and they said they would talk to Tika for me and that shed reach out to me before the end of the day. Next day, I called the salon again, saying I havent heard from Tika, whats the update. They then tell me they cant help me/do anything since Tika is independently contracted. A few days after my color, she reaches out, shes sick and shell reach out in a day or two. I can understand. She finally reaches out, I tell her my concerns. She responds okay, you might feel that way about your color because.. explaining a coloring process I have no understanding of, Im not a colorist. She came off kinda rude but said she would fix it the way I was needing/wanting. I asked her if there would be an additional charge, she said no and so I booked the appointment. Im understanding if I need to come in again if hair color doesnt work quite right the first time, I wish she would have been understanding. I come in for the fix-it appointment. I show her the areas the hair color was uneven and showed my roots. She once again, invalidated my concerns well, its been a few days, the color probably just washed out and thats why its uneven. She did ultimately follow through and did fix my hair at no extra cost and got the me the results I wanted. Maybe the other stylists or other employees of their salon/spa are good but I wont be coming back here, I was disappointed in my overall experience. My colorist was independently contracted, but none the less, she works at and represents the business, so my overall view of this business is not that great.

I have been coming to Calm Spa for a myriad of services for 2 years now, if not more. I get waxing done, brow tints, lash tints and lifts, brow laminations, facials (pick me up facial is THE best), and have done a couple sessions of microneedling.I’ve always loved coming here. The staff is great, the ease of being able to book online is huge bonus, and the salon always look clean and well, incredible. I have had zero complaints.Recently, my lash extension girl (who I used for 4 years) moved out of state and I was having a hard time finding her replacement. We all know how hard it is to find a good lash artist! I contacted Calm Spa and and they suggested I see Tia based on what I was wanting/needing. Before I tell you this- please keep in mind I wore volume fan lashes for 4 YEARS. I saw Tia for my lashes yesterday and she placed a classic set of lashes on me. CLASSICS. She was so meticulous and spent almost the full two hours on my full set ensuring she hit every. single. lash. And you can bet she did. MY LASHES HAVE NEVER LOOKED THIS GOOD. EVER. I will never see anyone else from this point on. I am beyond happy with my lashes and had no idea a classic set could this this good. And although at first I was a little shocked by the higher price tag- I left there feeling that every single penny was worth it.Bonus: the lash chairs are positioned at a zero gravity angle which makes them so relaxing!Book with Calm Spa, you won’t regret it.

Pros: Greeted by a nice receptionist. Place was clean and busy (with hair clients).Cons: Went in for a massage and the masseuse was not good. She didn’t greet me by my name, she literally came out and said “are you ready?”. I was on my phone at the time so I had to look up to see if she was talking to me, and she was. She didn’t ask for any problem areas so I told her areas to focus on. She never asked if the pressure was okay, since there was no pressure. She wasn’t a chatty Cathy which was nice because I just wanted to relax. I left there pretty disappointed in myself because I still gave her a tip. She didn’t say thank you, she just said “you’re all set”. I’m pretty bummed about the whole experience, I felt like I wasted my time. I probably will never go there again if she’s still their only masseuse.

I have had a wonderful experience every time I have come here! I was first introduced by a friend who had gotten her Brazilian done by Jessica, so I did the same for my wedding and she did amazing. This is my go to salon for everything now! They even know me by name! I come regularly now for facials, eyebrow wax and tint, and massages and I have been so happy with my experience. Super professional, personable, and outstanding results from these ladies. 🤍

I LOVE Calm Spa so much. I go to Darby for my eyebrows and she is amazing. I am so confident in the work she does, I just go there & relax and leave with beautiful eyebrows. She takes her time and I have always left loving my eyebrows! I have also gone to Darby for a facial (the Pick Me Up facial to be specific) and holy cow. It was PERFECT. Darby took the time before the facial to ask me about any concerns I had with my skin so she could help me with those concerns. The facial was so calming & relaxing and would 10/10 recommend. Darby is professional - you can tell how informed & educated she is and I love how she took time after my facial to answer all my questions & go over products she used on my skin and gave me samples to try and see if I wanted to use them long term. My wife waited over an hour for an appointment I had scheduled two weeks in advance. She had to get a babysitter and then waited over an hour for her appointment and the lady supposed to do her hair was with another client which is fine but at least text or call if you’re going to be that late. She left crying. Never got a text or call from the lady supposed to do her hair or the salon.

Such great quality services! Really Im only taking off 1 star because Im accustomed to spas having a bit more of an ambiance, with some sort of separate waiting area with snacks and drinks...that sort of thing, rather than just waiting in the lobby by the front doors. However, the treatments themselves are great. And if youre looking for more of a get in get out type spa day this place is perfect.I got a Brazilian wax and a prenatal massage and both were fantastic. Jess did my wax and she was very professional, and fast, and didnt make it awkward at all. Ive been getting Brazilians for years and she was definitely the most efficient Ive had.Krista did my massage and Im so use to my therapists being too afraid to apply a little pressure during prenatal massages (it just feels like a back tickle at that points), but Krista seemed to be very knowledgable and she wasnt afraid to apply a firmer touch in places when needed. Will definitely be going back :D

Today I went in for a facial that I scheduled about a month ago for my wedding. I arrived 10 minutes early and when I got in the treatment room the esthetician decided then to tell me the treatment that I scheduled was out of their scope of practice because they didn’t have a doctor there. Very unprofessional since I didn’t get an email or a phone call from them and drove a little over an hour to be there. Awful communication. They still have the service on their menu so i’m confused why they would wait until I got there to tell me they couldn’t do it. Very very upset.

Best Spa and Salon in all of Utah. Jessica does a great job with a 7 minute Brazilian. IN and OUT the door. The facials are so relaxing and leave my skin feeling better than it has even in my youth. This is my go-to salon! I’ve been going to Tika for a while now and she never disappoints. Unlike other stylists who say they know how to handle thick, ethnic hair she actually knows how to work with my hair and always gives me beautiful results. I won’t go to anyone else! Brennan also does a fantastic job with my lash lift each time. All the girls here are so nice and do their best to make you feel beautiful.

The best massages in the area are by Krista at Calm Spa. She has helped with pinched nerves in my neck, hip issues and whole body improvement. I highly recommend her massage services.

Calm spa is by far the best in Utah. Jessica Powell is who I get waxed by and is THE BEST in the state. I have been to plenty of other people for Brazilian and facial waxing and no one is faster or more efficient than Jess. (And i have plenty of horror stories from other places). I mean everyone knows if you are getting a Brazilian the last thing you want is for it to take a long time, I was in and out in 6 minutes. (I know because I’ve timed it). Not only is it the best price for what you get but The atmosphere of the whole salon is amazing. No matter what service you need they are top notch in all of them. I refuse to go anywhere else no matter how far away I live. I highly recommend it!

I recently moved to Utah County and in desperate need of a hair cut. I made an appointment with Elle Baker based on the bio from the Calm Spa website. Elle took time before beginning to discuss what I wanted and what I liked in a style. (Many places Ive been shampoo and then with hair dripping start to cut without really acknowledging what Id like. ) Elle was methodical and deliberate as well as friendly and professional. The hairstyle was exactly what I wanted. I would recommend this salon and Elle to anyone. Excellent shop.

I have a skin disease that prevents me from being able to shave my legs. I also have to be very careful about waxing, as most people irritate my skin. I have tried so many different waxing salons in Texas and in Utah, and this is by far the best. Jessica is the only person I have ever trusted completely to give me a wax. The prices are also very reasonable. Also the quickest and most pain free Brazilian wax I have ever experienced. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

I started getting waxed from Jessica more than 5 years ago and I havent gone anywhere since. She is so amazing. She makes your experience calming and friendly. Her waxes are quick and the salon is ALWAYS clean. The staff has always been friendly every time I go in and I never wait longer than 5 minutes to be taken back. I love this place!

So very disappointed. A referral to a stylist at Calm from my daughters mother in law. We texted back and forth and compared our schedules. I told her that Thursday was difficult but she proposed a Thursday at 3:30. Since i was overdue for a cut and had an important meeting the next day, I said yes. Fast forward to the day of the appointment (set 10 days earlier) ...my daughter has emergency surgery and I have been down in Provo all day. I have this appointment in PG. It is inconvenient but I make it...I committed to her, I didnt give 24 hours cancellation and I have an important meeting and need a cut desperately. I get there 15 minutes early, tell them my name and who my appointment is with. Thirty minutes later, the receptionist tells me that she isnt there (wouldnt she have known that when I walked in and gave her my details???) and that she is on the phone and wants to talk w/ me. Gee, Im sorry. I must not have written down the appointment. If you dont ever want to come back, I understand. What stylist isnt always looking to build loyal clientele? I walk out without so much as an apology from anyone at the salon. Their cavalier attitude and lack of consideration for my time really floored me. I wont be back, ever, under any circumstances.

Calm Spa and Salon is amazing! Its such a cute salon, and they offer a variety of services. I always go to Etika Heath, she is absolutely fabulous! My hair always comes out looking beyond amazing. Shes very talented and always makes sure to do her best and make sure you get what you came in for.

I LOVE THIS SHOP/ MY STYLIST! I had a horrible mix of box dye and over growth that Kieyera fixed for me. Ive never been happier with a salon experience. I actually feel like I have more confidence. I went out with my friend after and got a lot of attention from my hair. I will always go to calm spa from here on out. The environment is amazing and the stylists are so skilled, especially Kieyera.

Jess is amazing! Literally the best Brazilian wax I have ever had. She was fast, efficient and I didnt leave feeling raw and uncomfortable.

Ive had nothing but 5 star experiences every time Ive been.I really trust them and would highly recommend!!I personally get my hair done by Tika! She’s super friendly, personable and professional! My hair always turns out amazing!!

Tanisha Barlow is the BEST for nails! No other person has made my nails last like she does and my natural nails are still very healthy. Ive gone to her for years for both acrylic nails and gel polish on my natural nails, shes skilled with both. Definitely ask for the vitagel if youre doing gel polish on your natural nails, it makes them so strong! Shes such a nice person and its a joy to spend an hour or so chatting with her while she works her magic!

Tanisha makes my gel nails look phenomenal, she does them exactly how I like them every time, they last longer/grow out better then any salon Ive been to and it never chips. I get compliments on my nails at work weekly. I will never see anyone else, even if that means traveling to see her, its worth it!

I see Jessica every 4-6 weeks and she is wonderful! She is quick at waxing - in and out in 10 minutes! She makes you feel comfortable and at ease.

Alyssa R. gave me a super great haircut. I really wanted a change with my look and I trusted her. She cut 8 inches off-because that’s what I wanted and I LOVE IT!!! Also the place was so cute and has some nice boutique items too!

I paid 80$ to get my nails and toes done with gel and they looked awful+ started chipping the next day. I didn’t want to say anything because I loved the girl who was doing my nails she was so nice and I didn’t want to make her feel bad ! She was just really really and at painting nails!!!!!
