Ive been with this place since 2019. This place was a solid 5 star before COVID. Staff were very friendly and spent alot of time cleaning. Now, staff seem limited to mostly trainers. Recently, most evening regulars are young guys working-out shirtless, rubbing their sweaty bare chest and back throughout the gym equipment, and would not wipe the equipment down after use. Several cardio machines are sticky and dusty. Will be moving onto a different gym. Sanitation and modesty is not common here in the evening. Enforce a dress code and spend more time with sanitizing the facility!

Love this place. Enough machines to satisfy everyone. Everything is newer and maintained well. Staff is nice and helpful. All the regulars are friendly and even help out notice lifters. A true family-atmosphere. Also, being open 24/7 is great.

BAR FIRST EXPERIENCE. I just moved to the Plano area, and I was looking to do the Free trial at this location. I get out of work at 7:30pm and went straight to this gym (arrived 15 minutes before 8). I was told that I needed to come earlier because the staff was about to leave. Then I explained that my work schedule did not allow me to come earlier. The only solution was to get a membership for a month and then if I did not like it just cancel it. This shohld be explained when you sign up for the free trial SO PEOPLE THAT WORK LATE DO NOT WASTE THEIR TIME.

Very clean and nice gym. Has alot for cardio. I never been when its busy times. Theres only one bench and incline. Space around the weight area is small so you gotta squeeze in. Other than that its not bad.

Have been a member at this club since they opened a couple of years ago. Prior to this I was a member of a big box club that was in decline. If you are thinking about joining a gym, do yourself a favor and check this location out. You will find a very clean gym, with outstanding equipment that works, and a really great staff. Go check them out!

Clean environment and great place for work out

I’ve been working out at WOAT plano since 2019 and have always enjoyed my experience. About 2 months ago I started training consistently with Derek and have been blown away by my results. When I first started with Derek I weighed 136lbs and was wearing a size 6. I now Weigh 123lbs and I’m a size 2 and XS in tops and dresses. Derek always makes each workout fun, challenging, and worth the investment. As long as he’s there, I’ll be training with him.

I was a little skeptical about going back to the gym so early. Especially after everything that has been going on in the World right now. However, to my surprise the gym is awesome. Everyone is following safety guidelines and it is extremely clean. Also the front desk ladies are super nice and always cleaning! Yesterday Liz stopped by and was even giving out free hand sanitizer! Absolutely love this gym and being back is amazing. Highly recommend!

I really like this club because I want to work out when I have the time to work out. I can go in at 9:30, 10 o’clock at night. it’s clean, safe and it has every piece of equipment I need for my work out. On top of that The staff is always professional and happy to help. Even before Covid, they had antibacterial wipes on the polls around all of the equipment. And the culture of the customers are to always wipe it down when they’re done working out. So I know when I get on a piece of equipment it’s clean. I am very satisfied and loyal customer.

Never crowded. Super helpful staff and all the machines necessary. Downside after 1 year here. If you dont have enough funds when they process payment, there is a $20 charge. $20? Outrageous, and nothing they can do for long time members.

Ive read several of the negative reviews and not sure how on earth anyone could possibly post those comments. My son, daughter, wife and I go to this gym almost everyday for about a year now.The membership price is literally 10x cheaper than our previous neighborhood gym and an extremely better value with newer equipment and complimentary tanning, massage beds, and personal trainers.The gym is never over crowded and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Grace and Nadia are always bright and cheerful even at 5am!The gym is clean, people respect the equipment and clean up after themselves. Nothing is ever dirty.I travel for business often and can honestly say that there are fewer gyms this good across most of America.The only criticism I have (as mentioned by another review) is that the tanning facilities are not available to early morning or late night patrons.I may regret posting this review because I don’t want the gym to get crowded, but the fact is, if you’re a family or single looking for a gym, this place is one of the best gyms in town.Can’t say enough good things about the staff and facilities. Definitely 5 star customer experience!

GREAT gym!!!!!! Staff is doing a great job keeping it clean. All the equipment is in great shape. Has everything I need from free weights to cables to machines. Great tanning room and massage chairs. Owner/manager actually calls if you have a problem.

The gym has great equipment to use and is very clean, which is very much needed during this time of Covid. The staff is friendly and very helpful in terms of answering any questions, Liz was very helpful to me, she answered all my questions and went out of her way to help me. Great place to workout at and the staff is great, can’t forget that it has the best rates monthly and it helps a lot since I’m a student. Would 100% recommend it to everyone!

I have previous gym management and training experience and I was greeted by Liz who at the time was training two employees. She did a great job from start to finish with our tour of facility. This gym appears very clean from top to bottom. There is a lot of equipment however it does not feel cluttered or overwhelming, it has a very small gym feel with big gym perks and an unbeatable price, without contracts and hidden fees. Very straightforward. It had taken me a LONG time to find a gym to replace the one I had used for six years after moving 990 miles away. I normally like to think things over and they had me signed up and working out the same day. There were LOADS of options in this area but this one won hands down.

Their gym is kept very clean by both staff and members. They’ve got plenty of equipment for everybody. Their fitness classes are tuned to your needs, well worth it.Overall a solid location with good pricing options, and their friendly service helps to keep me coming back.

Liz and her staff are always there with a smile and knowing your name. The place has the highest standards for clean in covid and out of covid. I chose this gym for price and proximity to my residence. Every time I have had a need or additional request, Liz has been most helpful. She has guided me through the processes involved time and again. I wish there were more workout anytime is more cities! Of course, there can only be one Liz, but all staff has always been super kind!

Seems a bad review might be the only way to get someone to return calls or help with canceling a membership. I have walked into this gym on three separate occasions and was told the manager Elizabeth would call me to assist with canceling the membership. The third visit, I was told to contact the owner through email, which I did. I am still waiting on a response or call from either Elizabeth or Jimmy. This has been going on for over a month now. My credit card was charged twice for the month of June (no one can tell me why) and I am being told I will have an additional charge due to signing the official cancellation policy on the third visit, which is not my fault being as the girl at the front desk told me I needed to speak with Elizabeth to cancel. Suppose at this point all I can do is dispute the charges with my credit card company. I refuse to pay over $60 to cancel a membership. The front staff is polite but someone is not doing their job on the backend.

With everything going on, my family and I were hesitant to go back to a gym. But, when we returned to Workout Anytime, the staff, specifically Elizabeth Portela, was great working with my family and answering all of our questions. Also, the gym has been good at cleaning equipment, making hand sanitizer available, and adhering to social distancing guidelines!!!

Best gym in DFW. Friendly staff, 24/7 key card access, hydro beds/tanning. Great location if you live in Plano/Garland/Richardson/Murphy/Wylie. They have a machine there that I haven’t seen at any gym. 5 minutes on it feels like 100 squats. You won’t be sorry, come check it out!

The gym is great, the equipment is always clean, and on top of the membership $ is not high. On top it, the location is ideal, the gym doesnt get to crowded at most times. Grace who sits at the counter is very nice and welcomes the members.

Brand new facility, open 24/7 with good equipment. In a really good location for me, near Plano East HS. Not many other gyms close by, but never too crowded.I was able to join using a promotion for $1 membership fee, which was cool. $19/month for the basic plan, since I don’t do classes and don’t need tanning or hydro massage, both of which they offer here. I think there is a $40 fee they hit you with after a month or two, but I guess that’s not really out of line with what other gyms do.Staff was nice and helpful, and they give you your space if you aren’t interested in a hard sell. Really enjoy my membership here, thanks!

Quiet gym with everything you need

The good: the gym is in a very convenient location relative to other gyms in the area, and the price is competitive, which makes it a very sensible place to workout. Getting the equipment you want has never been an issue, as long as the highschool lacrosse team isnt there. The staff is very friendly as well.The bad: Ever since the management change and the staff turnover, the quality of music and cleanliness of the facility have taken a MASSIVE drop. The staff used to regularly clean the gym which made it look amazing. Now, accumulated dirt and trash are very common on the floors and under the machines and the mirrors are covered in smudges. Weights being left on the floor are more common now. Unfortunately the cleanliness went from very pristine to very dirty in a short amount of time.

Run from It they ripping off ! They will hold your credit card in their system even if you no longer member, forever you will be get stuck with them, my wife got membership month to month no contract, after 4 months cancellation in person at their office and written notice they still charging her credit card and they never remove your credit card from system ... avoid it don’t be fooled to start cheap price, They will take it back from you later.. Dont trust anything Mary Smith telling you, its all lie

Wanted to join this gym but after researching their business history online I am seeing they do not practice good business ethics. Hundreds upon hundreds of people across the nation using various facilities have been lied to, deceived and had hundreds of dollars worth of monthly fees charged to their credit cards after cancelling their memberships. These same people state that they cannot find the right people to talk to about the matter, just voicemail extensions with no return calls received. They can’t get answers, much less refunds for wrongfully charged funds long after membership was closed or cancelled. Why are these people still in business?

This gym is nice and clean yes. BUT the only problems I have with it is how they have Plano east lacrosse team go work out. You have a bunch of teen age boys who are taking up the whole gym and are standing around AFTER their training. While others are bothered due to the fact that they’re being inconsiderate and taking equipment that others need to use. If you’re going to have a high school team work out make sure it’s not in a really small gym. Also the classes of the gym are also a problem. A gym that small in size is really only good for people who want to go in, work out and enjoy their work out. Not about a class of 5-8 women who are training as a group. This gym is not built for 20 teenage boys and a small group for a class.

I am having such a bad experience with them, I dont think they can improve at this point. The club in itself is great but the service from the get-go was so bad. Try canceling several times and still no luck, now I am having to pay additional fees, including a cancelation fee. Mary Smith is never available, grace was so rude when trying to cancel the membership, hope you re-think before signing up because there are other clubs that have better service.

I reallly love the MX4 classes I take each day. Barbara is the best! The only reason i didnt give this 5 stars is because there are a few pieces of equipment that need to be fixed but have not. I also asked if they could put sunscreens in the MX4 area and they said they would but never have as of yet. The sun is blinding in the morning and very hot. All employees are very nice!

I love that it is smaller than the BIG gyms (ie. 24 Hr Fitness, Lifetime, etc.). The staff knows me by name and greets me with a smile every time I come in. The equipment is all brand new (love the new stationary bike with graphics) and CLEAN! I love the price, too!

AVOID THIS GYM. Im surprised they have not been sued by this point. I am having such a bad time cancelling. I used to enjoy this gym but a confused staff and horrible customer service ruins it. I talked to Jimmy for a refund twice and I havent gotten one. A lady named Andrea Blomberg was so rude to me I couldnt believe she was the manager. I signed up to basically lose money. The first 3 months were ok but the same faces that were nice to me seem to have left this gym. Now the new staff is a joke. Avoid it as much as possible !!!

Jimmy and Kristi Mak...remember those evil names. They are the owners of a horribly ran business. Ive been lied and manipulated to, and they have stolen money from my account through as they lied through the contract. The gym was nice, but after what appears to be a complete staff change, the establishment has collapsed. The newer employees are rude, the gym stays messy and overcrowded by the lacrosse team, and Jimmy and Kristi Mak seem to lack direction in running a proper business. I wont be surprised if this location is gone in a few months

Solid gym but a little small. Not enough dumbbells to go around when there are a couple people using the weights and equipment doesnt feel right at times. But staff is very friendly and overall its average.

I’ve been coming here since October and I attend the specialized small work out classes that Norris runs. I love that it’s always CLEAN. Workers work hard to keep it that way. It DOESNT SMELL like most gyms! So far, I’ve met Grace up front and she is always a doll. She remembers most members and makes a point to check in on them and answer questions. I love her enthusiasm for the members! She even joined me in class when I first started (she had to show up early since she can’t do it on work time) because I had told her I had a lot of anxiety going to the gym and especially joining a work out class! She walked me through my class and ensured me it isn’t so bad and I have been smittened by her since!Another person I’ve met and adore is Norris! He coaches the small training classes—-love these! If you are out of shape, scared of going in and making a fool of yourself; I highly recommend this class! They have class as early as 5:30 am! Each class is 30 mins! Very manageable! I have the unlimited classes and I go twice a day, back to back for a total of 1 hour!All members can try out for 2 classes free. Norris is devoted to helping all his clients. He will start you off with a body scan and it will measure all your current body stats/fats/etc and he will give you a personalized analysis. I’ve been going for 2.5 months and I’ve never felt better. I love what Norris has done for me through his coaching and patience with me. His work outs are different everyday, he keeps class size small so he can focus on each person. Everyday I attend, he pushes me harder each time. I am really extremely thankful to him.Price point is also something to consider. They make it affordable for everyone to work out. Health is wealth, stop being broke 😝!It’s free to come in and try. I definitely love this gem in our town! Thank you Gracie and Norris for all you do for everyone ❤️

I have went to this location on 2 separate occasions and each time the employee that I talked to told me that my membership would be canceled. And every month I get charged on my credit card. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be stuck in a membership for life.....
