So the Boys n Girls Club of Frisco had a fund Raiser tonight. Just wow. The drinks were strong. The service was above great. The food was delicious. We raised 1000s for underprivileged kids. I HIGHLY recommend this venue. #TrueCloudPBX #Ticketsbythebay

We had a FANTASTIC Wine Dinner this past week at Gleneagles. The guest chefs and entire staff were very attentive to our needs. It was a great event. Its been a while since weve all been able to do this type of event and the GM and staff did a superb job. We have also played the course and enjoy the golf and overall layout of the property. There are a few areas that could use an updated (inside), but otherwise a very nice private golf club with upscale dining and events.

Worked a gig here. The chandeliers are gorgeous! Its a big place! Nice lawn, clean guest facilities.

I attend a BNI meeting every Thursday morning and the staff is awesome! I would highly recommend them for any event needs.

I really enjoy The Kings course, and driving range is very pleasant, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with nice music. The burger with smoked gouda is amazing!

Surprisingly the front desk staff were surly, snobbish, and unhelpful. The catering staff were gracious and helpful. The food was good, however there were few gluten free dessert options. The chairs used in their meeting rooms may be good for a wedding but are very uncomfortable for any meeting more than a few hours long. Beautiful setting.

If you like paying for a Mercedes and getting a Buick then Gleneagles is your country club. Based upon the pricing – initiation, monthly dues and normal purchases – you would think you belonged to a high end exclusive country club. Every about Gleneagles is good but not great. The golf courses are good but not great and have not been included in the Texas top 100 for decades. The practice facilities are good but often overcrowded and it can be difficult to find a spot on the range. Hitting off the driving range grass is only allowed on certain days to prevent excess wear and tear. Over time members learn their right to use the golf course and facilities comes second to outside events and tournaments. The food is good but not on par with local restaurants. Entertainment and social events are generally good but nothing special.Gleneagles is part of Club Corp and subject to the financial goals of a large corporation. Despite being one of the most profitable clubs in the Club Corp chain, prices for dues and other services are constantly rising. Referring to Club Corp, one former food & beverage employee stated “The greed of these people is unfathomable.” He said in one meeting corporate actually considered the idea of charging for condiments. While the idea was ultimately tabled, can you imagine charging for ketchup and mustard was under serious consideration? Having served on the Gleneagles Board of Governors, I know there was little interest in solving problems. There is almost no focus on the member experience and there appears to be a great incentive to sweep problems under the rug. At one point the entire golf committee of about 20 members quit in unison over frustration with Gleneagles management. Managements response was to reconstitute the committee with a group of perceived loyalists.There are many considerations when choosing a country club. Ultimately you stay a member because of the friends you make. Do yourself a favor and choose a different country club than Gleneagles.Management has posted a rebuttal to my review and it follows the typical corporate script - apologize for not meeting expectations, offer to take the discussion off line and point to something new or different that will make things better. I have not been to the club in over a year but have many friends who remain members and nothing has changed.

We host several events here each year. Very nice facility, food is good, service is great. Of course members also enjoy golf and other amenities....but even non members attend events here.

Great country club. We come here for brunch on almost every major holiday, and its seriously the best weve ever had. Delicious fresh-made omelettes, prime rib, traditional breakfast options, pasta salad of every style and flavor, home-made ice cream and various cakes and pastries for dessert... awesome. The pool is also great for members and guests during summer time.

I attended the 10 Shades of Success Gala. I just want to thank all the staff at the country club. Everyone was so attentive. The front desk staff was very welcoming. All the staff were excellent. Food was delicious. Thank you for everything.

I went there for a Christian business conference. The environment was highly professional. The conference set up was extreme accommodating. The food was delicious but the spiritual food that was delivered by the guest speaker was Amazing. For me the entire experience was top notch Thank you to the EMERGENCE Organization and thank you to Glen Eagle Country Club.

We had a business formal event here and I was very impressed. The venue was quite nice and the food was spectacular. Typically, when we have attended this type of event at other locations, the food is mediocre at best and given my food allergies, I am afraid to eat anything. However, the food at Gleneagles CC was amazing and the gentlemen serving knew exactly what was in the dishes. The staff was kind, attentive, and helpful. I wouldnt hesitate to use this place for another group formal event.

The event we attended was enjoyable and we felt well taken care of by the Club staff. The food was excellent and more than filling! Parking is a breeze and complimentary valet was offered. I’m not affluent enough to warrant a return visit unless invited again, but it was certainly an enjoyable time!

What a beautiful place. I was there for lunch with my best friend and a golf buddy and business partner. Their buffet was spectacular. The facilities are great and the ambiance is lively.

I choose Gleneagles for my wedding reception this past December. I could not have been happier! Everything flowed flawlessly from the cocktail hour into the reception. I had many people say the bar tenders where great and there was never a long line (we had about 150 people). The only thing that was not top notch was water refills, a bit slow. We has the prime rib buffet with the mash potato martini station, and I still have family and friends say how good the food was. I also used there recommended DJ and he was also Great (never an empty dance floor and very appropriate)! The staff went above and beyond, not only did the coordinator make it flow flawlessly, they even organized and conducted the entire exit with sparklers, it looked phenomenal! They also packed my husband and I to go boxes with some of all the food and two pieces of brides cake and two pieces of grooms cake and had it along with a bottle of champagne in our get away vehicle, it was a great little surprise! I would recommend Gleneagles to any bride or anyone having a nice event.

I chose Gleneagles as the place to make my home for golf, fitness, entertainment, relaxation, hosting business functions, and even to holding my Daughters wedding there. We have raised children there, with swimming, tennis and golf, and loved every minute of our membership. Many of our great friends are there. Gleneagles is inviting, friendly, elegant, and enjoyable. Food and Service is impeccable.

I was here for a special event, and I can honestly say that I found the staff and the setting absolutely perfect. Everybody I encountered was helpful and there to make certain that I had a terrific time. The clubhouse is nicely appointed, with a quiet elegance and a view that is spectacular.

We had our Christmas luncheon an annual fourth-quarter meeting here the staff was very attentive and very nice the food was delicious

I am 15 years old with my permit, and in order to get the most out of my practices after school, I usually take a cart to a putting green a half mile away from the club house. I got caught taking a cart one day and they forced me to walk the half mile. It took me 30 minutes to walk to the green carrying my school backpack, my golf backpack, my school clothes, and my golf bag. Keep in mind that I still had to practice. I only have an hour and an half of practicing after school, and now an hour of my time is being spent walking. This is OUTRAGEOUS, and if you have kids and are deciding whether or not to become a member here. THIS IS YOUR SIGN!!! This place is not kid friendly and the golf course is kept in TERRIBLE condition.

Went there for a memorial celebration of a very good friend he passed away. It was a lovely affair the food was excellent and service was also very good. Everyone was very friendly

My car was hit by a golf ball that came from their course on 10/22/16. I have to have my windshield replaced before inspection and no one wants to take responsibility for the damage.The manager states that the person that hit the ball is responsible. But, funny thing, not a single person will step forward and Glen Eagles will not replace my windshield.It is an outrage this course is in my neighborhood, it has holes along Park Rd. a main road going East and West through Plano and they not only do NOT have safety nets up to avoid these problems/damage. No one will take responsibility. Disgraceful.I could have been in an accident, any person travelling on Park could be in a accident.I will be petitioning for safety nets. I will also be contacting an attorney regarding this matter. Of course, whomever hit the ball will not take responsibility so the least the course can do is take responsibility.

I strongly agree with the prior review the staff at Gleneagles are lazy, rude with a bad attitude!For a country club they need to improve their staffing! Ive been a member for 7 years trying to host an event, they dont have the discipline to return phone calls or your email, getting hold of their staff is very difficult & frustrating!I was told they are too busy to return your phone calls by their event manager!!Golf course is beautiful, & Golf coaches are wonderful!Hope their customer service improves!

Have played in a golf tournament here for the last few years. Arrangements always well managed and courses in good shape. Very challenging courses. Good clubhouse and meals.

Keller Williams has had the run of this place for the last 7 weeks. The staff was fantastic and made us super comfortable.

First class facility. Great golf course and country club amenities. The nightly buffet is very well done.

I attended a corporate lunch here. Everyone seemed disappointed that the steak was not cooked enough. The rest of the meal was good. Service was fine. Probably would not go if I were the one paying.

Wow. Good food, good service. I came here for dinner with family, so I cant speak too much for the other services the club offers, but the dinners taste was amazing, and, as I previously stated, great service.

Came here for the Sunday Brunch. Breakfast food, omelette chef, waffles, prime rib, salmon, it was all good.
