Been going here about 6 weeks now. The place is always very clean and organized. They do have trainers there tying to make a living so don’t be alarmed if you’re asked about purchasing sessions after your first several that are free end. As far as I can tell they have a lot of knowledgeable trainers. It’s a nice place.

This gym is amazing. Really clean and not crowded. Equipment is all up to date and well maintained. Took off one star because they close so early in Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Wish they would extend their hours and it would be 5/5.

Best decision of my life coming here. I signed up for the Tier 3+ package and you really get what you paid for. Excellent instructor with excellent nutritional knowledge and advice; excellent explanation of methods and mechanics. Mike Laird is the best trainer I’ve ever had. Taylor was an great at clarity and communication throughout the entire onboarding experience. People there are great and I highly recommend.

Overall a top notch facility. The rooftop workout area is a nice touch. Pretty expensive for a gym membership though, better values out there.

I have been a member of Equinox since October of 2019 and I am impressed with all that Equinox is doing to keep members safe right now. The Equinox Standard has been improved upon and I felt very comfortable on my last visit. The club is appropriately spaced and I was still able to access all of the machines and weighs that I wanted during my visit. On a side note- I look forward to the day when things are back to some variation of normal with regards to the amenities. The amenities at every location beat other gyms.

Ive been working out here since it opened last fall and continued working out virtually through the pandemic thanks to Casey my trainer. The trainers there are excellent and the facility is always clean. They have the best equipment and a ton of classes with great instructors. The monthly dues are higher than most gyms but really a bargain once you factor in all the variety of classes you get versus paying for individual yoga, cycling and boot camp memberships. I highly recommend this place!!!

Excellent location with plenty of garage or uncovered parking. Staff is always polite & helpful. Gym equipment & locker rooms are meticulously cleaned throughout the day. Many classes are included which you reserve on their app. Also, there is a rooftop exercise area!

I have been a member at several gyms and Equinox Plano is by far the best, most amazing gym. Having a membership here has been one of the best investments Ive made towards my health(physically and mentally). I cant wait until the reopening phase begins for gyms. I have missed this place dearly. There are so many diverse and challenging classes you never get bored!Personal training here has also been a phenomenal experience. I have been lucky to have Casey for in person and virtual personal training. Both in person and virtual sessions have been great! To my surprise, virtual training session was just as challenging as in person! Casey is an incredible trainer, and will challenge you with new and diverse exercises. She is genuine, down to earth and trustworthy. As far as membership advisors hands down recommend Sofia. She helped my fiance and I both on separate occasions and she was friendly and not pushy. She gave me time to go home and think before I signed up.Group class instructors that have been awesome include: Amanda,Hannah, Liz, Lindsey, Lizzie, Tanner, and Megan! They offer modifications, will do their best to make sure everyone is in good form and most importantly give you a challenging and fun workout.

I spoke to a gentleman here that promised but couldn’t deliver (as he didn’t have the ability to). Soon after, he texted me about what would be charged to my card effective today ($200+). I was told this month would be $40 or so, next month would be 90% off and November would be full price. Why are they trying to lump everything into one month— this is not what we discussed??Long story short, the GM, Sara, who was very nice got on the phone with me. She was clueless as to why this special was offered to me, and couldn’t honor it because she didn’t even have that ability.Seems like a nice gym, however my advice is to get any promises in writing. The sales tactics to meet their quotas remind me of LA Fitness, which I despise.

Dont waste your time with any other high end gym. Equinox reminds me, so distinctly, of the Four Seasons ambience and level of service. I am so impressed with this location and I cant get enough! I go to the gym just to be in the space sometimes, and a byproduct of that is a workout. Dont even get me started on the staff... I wont be able to say enough to describe how sweet, genuine, diligent, and on-point the membership advising team is. Even after you sign up for a membership, they take care of your needs as a member on an ongoing basis. Not like other places where as soon as you start paying them: game over. Not at Equinox Plano! I cant speak for any other Equinox location, but I am so in love with this gym that even when I move away and its inconvenient, I will probably commute up to Plano just for my workouts. Love you Equinox Plano!

Really a fantastic club. And I dont mean a work out place, but a place you can feel you belong to as a club with modern and terrific facilities that is always very clean and well-kept, staff and trainers who remember you and say hello to you by name, excellent class instructors, and an environment that helps motivate you to reach your health and fitness goals. Ive been a member at Lifetime (not great), Cooper Fitness at Craig Ranch (awesome club), and now Equinox and love my membership. Highly recommend it.

I joined Equinox initially for their attention to member safety. The protocols they have in place make it feel as safe as possible during these times. After attending my first few classes, the true value is in the variety of offerings at the club. A typical crossfit membership is $130, attending a Yoga class is $20 per class, a Barre membership is up to $170 per month. At Equinox you have the ability to attend all these types of training, as well as a few others. Yes, the is not an LA Fitness, and the pricing reflects that. However, from the various gyms, crossfit boxes, and small class workout facilities I have personally attended, Equinox is truly a great value for the money. The staff and administration are top notch.

Im a current member of this club and it’s honestly my favorite place to work out. I’ve visited plenty other different fitness clubs and they don’t compare. Equinox is always clean with personable staff members. The class instructors are fantastic. I took a run class and somehow I managed to go almost 4 miles! I wouldn’t think of downgrading anytime soon.

While visiting the Equinox in Plano, we were really impressed!!! Plenty of parking, covered and uncovered, very open entrance with beautiful huge glass walls, plenty of front desk assistance with inviting smiles, fully stocked shop with workout stuff and athletic wear, and well equipped food/drinks/smoothie/snack bar where we enjoyed one of their Berry Smoothies and Acai Energy Blend Bowl that was AMAZING and for a well deserved dessert from our workout had a couple of their Blueberry Muffins! Multiple floors(with elevator for those who can not do stairs) with a ton of space on each and numerous workout machines which includes literally an outdoor gym floor on the roof with many workout accessories you would see for track or Football or Crossfit! Nicely folded and rolled towels everywhere that also includes rolled Eucalyptus cooled hand towels. Also a Steam Room I have never seen where it actually has CONSISTENT looped steam instead of wondering when it will kicked on AND includes a Overhead shower right in the steam room you can use to quickly rinse and doesnt even cool the room. Then onto the shower stalls that was a BLESSING to see NO used towels all over the floor or draped on unused showers. That professional cleanliness continued throughout the gym and dressing room. And how REFRESHING to see multiple lockers to choose from compared to other gyms we frequent that allow people to keep lockers locked ALL week and when I asked how are so many lockers available, they said they unlock/open and clean then out every night. Crew were constantly working and not absent, wiping things down, checking liquid levels and availability of towels. Met a few managing the place named Logan and Miles who greeted us with smiles and handshakes, asked if theres anything we need to ask, and was just so friendly and can tell they have a LOT of passion for running the place as they were continuously surveying each floor and always moving! Really looking forward to our next visit as this is by far the best gym we have used in Plano over the past 25yrs we have lived here!

They don’t care about wasting your time - stay away. I had heard great things about this gym, so wanted to check it out today. I’m looking for a new gym. It’s 15 min away, but on my way to work. I call ahead to see if I can come down, check it out & try a work out - the girl answers the phone tells me “yes, come on down and you can see the place and have a workout.” I arrive and the same girl who admits to having spoken with me tells me that I now have to either set an appointment, or wait for someone to get done showing someone else around before I can work out, or check the place out. A complete 180 from what I had been told on the phone. They wasted my time, and were completely unclear with me - smh.

I asked for the first time if I could bring in a guest to try a group exercise class with me but surprisingly Equinox refused to let her in. I was totally bummed out. I have been a member since opening day in Plano and I couldnt even bring in one guest. I dont know of any gyms that do this especially for the amount of money I pay. Not cool!!!
