I give this gym 1star because when I went to check out the gym I was not shown around to see what they have it was immediately pick a package you like when I have a free pass for 15 days. I would’ve liked to at least worked out first or got a tour around the gym. I would like to put in a recommendation that your staff needs better training then immediately sign up without showing any equipment or letting me enjoy my pass. Staff was very nice but didn’t like the approach. I will be exploring more options but thanks for letting me come out.

I had recently decided that enough was enough and wanted to work on my health and strength. Since then, I’ve been going there every day to see the kind workers, and head to my workout. When I’m working out, it’s a nice environment. No one’s judging you, and minding their own business. Really glad I came here!

Pina was just amazing and concentrated on patron satisfaction. As a physician, i strive for this with my patients on a daily basis..and when i see this in others…it gives me great joy. The gym is amazing, clean and well equipped. Thank you Texas Fitness and Pina!!!

I typically go to the location in West Plano—almost daily. I’ve gotten several of my friends to join, too. They offer a great array of equipment and classes. They charge one of the most inexpensive monthly gym fees I’ve ever seen in my life. I’ve gone to many, many gyms over the years. This is the best value for the money. They also have a fantastic GM named Lawrence and and Asst. GM Dalton. They’ll take great care of you.

Very clean gym, tons of great machines. Tons of space. Unbeatable monthly price. Has literally the same machines as LA Fitness, same brand and everything, but your paying 1/3 of the monthly cost. Very friendly and welcoming staff. They offer a wide range of group classes that a lot of people attend. Highly highly recommend

I am a long time gym member, having been a former member of every large franchised gym from 24 hr Fitness to Golds to LA Fitness over the past 30+ years. So I wasnt sure what to expect from a small local gym. I am pleased to say that this gym is every bit as good as any of them. There are plenty of machines to choose from, including cardio. There are ample free weight stations. There is plenty of space. Everything is clean and the gym is well cared for. Their manager, Lawrence, is one of the most personable managers that I have ever met. He goes out of his way to welcome you, make you feel good and a part of the experience. He has trained his staff well, as every team member is friendly and does their jobs well. If you are looking for a gym, this one is the perfect one to join. I cant say enough positive things about the place. I havent even mentioned the pricing, but they dont overcharge you like the big gyms. I am truly thankful that I found this place. Outstanding experience all around.

The gym is lovely, clean and the staff is very friendly. I have one problem with one of the staff members, I feel that if they are not vaccinated they should wear a mask. There are alot of compromised elderly people there and I feel that if you are not vaccinated you should care about yourself and others.

Very hard to cancel the membership.Basically what they do is making the process very very troublesome and taking time to ‘make’ your money(The cancellation will be effect until next month, free money for them!)I was moved to other state so I contacted them to cancel my membership, they said I need to send the handwritten notice to them in order to cancel my membership.After that I realize I still got charged for 1 month even though cancelling the membership.For the process you have to write the notice, it’s really easy to get the membership, how about cancel? Very hard, they don’t accept the email stuff(same legitimate as handwritten mail)Don’t go to this place unless you know what’s the policy if you’d like to cancel afterward

I have been going to Texas family fitness for over 2 years and I really like the place and the pricing. Group classes are awesome. I definitely recommend TFF to everyone who wanted to start their fitness journey.

Texas Family Fitness is the seedy discount car dealership of gyms. Ive heard that before, and that sentiment cannot be truer.Members including the staff dont pick up after themselves. They leave dumbbells and plates out for others to trip over while bars and machines are left with plates stacked on them for someone else to pick up after. Ive witnessed the AGM loading up equipment with plates to use only to walk away from without putting the plates back where they belong multiple times.Members including the staff also throw the weight around and drop cable handles at full extension effectively breaking equipment and when that happens at Texas Family Fitness, the equipment does not get fixed. Dumbbells have been falling apart for years. Plates are chipping. Cable handles and the bands holding the cables together are all fraying. We have a squat machine that has been broken for a couple months. We used to have an incline hammer strength machine that they decided to just throw out instead of fix. We pay a yearly maintenance fee, but Ive yet to see that used. They will say they are going to be renovating, but theyve now been saying that for two years.When approached about the issues above, the staff just doesnt care and says, well what can we do about it, and then proceeds to do nothing.The gym is also not very clean. They used to have employees going around and disinfecting equipment, but I guess they were all fired. When trying to disinfect equipment myself with the spray bottles and paper towel dispensers, the paper towel dispensers rarely work or even have a paper towel roll in there.If I were you, I would check out any other gym in the area. Ive been to LA Fitness, 24 Hour, Anytime Fitness, and Cowboy Fit. Every single one of them is a better run gym than Texas Family Fitness.

Please dont use this facility ...They don not care for their customers. They told me my daughters membership was cancelled and havent cancelled it and have been charging me . Now when I request for credit and refund, they simply didnt care . Horrible customer service.

Much brighter facility than the one in Plano. Like the other facility, there are plenty of machines and free weights for a good workout. Here they also have 2 squat racks and Smith machines for your squatting needs with dumbbells here goes up to 120 lbs. They have a nice play area for kids with slides to keep them occupied if you have children. So far everything about Texas Family Fitness seems positive. I will update this review if things change.

My girlfriend and I just started here, we love it, but the biggest complaint we have are the kids club hours are pretty inconvenient for people who work all week, who unfortunately get off late and especially the weekend club hours. Its a shame but maybe they will change at some point.EDIT: Well I have to change it now, my family went Saturday and missed the inconvenient kids club hours unfortunately, so we asked if it was open on Sundays, the guy said yes sir 8-12. Sooooo we showed up early at 930 and well what do you know: KIDS CLUB CLOSED. Waste of a drive and dragging the kiddos around. Really inconvenient kids club hours especially when your paying for it.

It’s a nice enough gym, but they keep charging you after you cancel. This COVID environment has given them more excuses to not let me cancel. Contract says I have to cancel 30 days in advance, which is fine. I’m aware.Because of COVID, I didn’t feel comfortable going in person to cancel or to the bank to get a certified letter, and someone at the front desk of my gym told me I can just email to cancel. Cool, I emailed on July 20 so I expected to be charged on August 4 (regular bill) and that’s it. I didn’t get a confirmation, so after August 4, I called the corporate office and the representative was really rude telling me the email address I was told to email was not monitored. I’m not responsible for your employee giving me wrong instructions. So anyway, corporate person tells me to send a letter that doesn’t have to be certified because COVID. So I did that on August 7, and I just got billed again this month (September 4).So I really don’t have a choice except to dispute the charges with my bank. The discounted price is not worth the hassle, pay a little more and go elsewhere.

I put my membership on hold until after the first of the year due to issues with a cataract eye surgery as I could not drive.MidJanuary I started being able to work out again and the mgmt was great. and very professional. The staff are all very friendly and helpful

I truly enjoy working out at Texas Family Fitness. However, it claims to be the “cleanest gym in town.” In reality, it’s not clean at all. I have a picture of a black face mask that has bee laying on the TFF floor for over a week. No one is cleaning these floors! The gym is also negligent in maintenance of equipment. I told one of the attendants a couple of weeks ago that the batteries in the display of a rowing machine needed changed. Changed? No. Pretty obvious this gym needs a serious management adjustment.

I am mainly a free weight type. Although some of the equipment is showing a little wear and tear (tears in pads, etc.) reflecting reduced corporate income during the COVID period, it is all very useable and clean.

As far as the pricing, it’s worth the amount of amenities they have. I’ve been a member for a little over a month, so for right now, everything’s going great.

My family uses the Family fitness on Coit road in Plano. I think they gave done a great job navigating thru the covid virus. Clean equipment, good spacing in classes, etc. The staff has continued to be warm, welcoming & accommodating.

Be prepared to be dragged through multiple visits, calls to customer service, which never picks up the phone, and no ability to track the last time you came to cancel the membership. Oh! we dont see any requests for cancellation in the system is what we heard every time. We had to visit three times and eventually had to block payments on our credit card before we were finally able to cancel. Sign up is a piece of cake, cancellation is like pulling teeth, and in the process they sneak in a couple months of charges when you are not even using the gym. Scam artists!REPLY TO REAPONSE: No sir, read my review carefully, I did go in person all three times, and I did ask for a printed confirmation and your staff told me each time there is no way for them to print anything and we will get a confirmation email, when I didnt they told me to contact customer support, which never picks up the phone. So no I never called to cancel the membership. It is obvious TFF deliberately makes the cancellation process difficult so they can squeeze out a few more months due to the confusion, but joining is as easy as it can be, why isnt cancellation as easy? Do you not read the 1 start reviews? Most of them are about the shady cancellation policy, you have a system wide problem, or perhaps thats your business strategy.

Texas Family Fitness has done an awesome job staying open for its members. I appreciate how they stress sanitization and worry less about the masks (which are not as effective and do not replace sanitization and good hygiene). They have also communicated well during over the last year.Keep up the good job!!

My family and I were members of Texas Family Fitness for a few years. Things were mostly fine during that time. Then Covid hit. While the clubs were closed, we were happy to hear that they wouldnt be charging us our monthly fees. Once the gym reopened, we went to ask if we could freeze our account since we werent comfortable coming in just yet. We were told absolutely! They would put a 3 month freeze on our account. After 2 months, we noticed that they charged us our annual fee, even though our account was frozen. When we went to the club to ask about it, and there were signs posted saying you must wear a mask per the state mandate. However, apart from the employees, no one was wearing a mask. We realized that we wouldnt be comfortable going back at all this year, possibly next, so we decided to cancel. NO PROBLEM we were assured! And they told us that we could even have our annual fees refunded if we call corporate. So we canceled, with full intention of rejoining once covid died down. We went home and called corporate, who told us they absolutely wouldnt be refunding the annual fees, and also we owe our monthly dues for all the months that we were frozen, plus the current month and next month. We were told that it was only a request to freeze the account, and they are now, 2 months later, deciding to deny that request. The woman we spoke to refused to ever answer why the employees at the club have such wrong information about these policies and refused to ever let us speak to a manager despite being repeatedly asked. At one point she told us that a manager would call us back shortly, but that never happened. When asked why no one was telling people to put on their masks inside the club, she said that they are required to wear a mask to enter the building, but can remove them immediately once inside. It has now been over a month since we canceled and we keep getting billed for more and more stuff. We regularly get calls from ABC financial, the company that handles Texas Family Fitnesss billing. When we ask about the charges, they tell us to talk to TFF, and when we talk to TFF, they tell us to talk to ABC. Its a maddening circle with no answers and no end, and more and more money being taken from us. When will it end? This has been so insane its almost like something out of a sitcom. Needless to say, I will NEVER be rejoining despite that being my original intention, and Im warning all of my friends as well. We have been met with liars and scammers at every opportunity. Unless you plan to be a member of this club until you die, you will surely go through this as well.

Came in today to get a membership.Clean facility. Lawrence assisted me and was fantastic. He had a great personality and was very professional. He was not pushy or anything, either. He listened to my needs and got me signed up for exactly what I needed. He disclosed all current and future charges. I had a great experience with Lawrence and cant wait to start my workouts at Texas Family Fitness!

I’ve been a member at Texas Family Fitness for a week now and I’ve loved it so far. The new gym location on Abrams and Mockingbird is by far one of the most beautiful and clean gyms I’ve seen in all of Dallas. I am so grateful that gyms have been reopening in the area and I am so glad I chose to become a member here. The equipment is new and machines are too. The Plano locations are both older and not as nice, but equipment quantity is still ample. I am excited to be a member at this gym.

The staff wasnt able to correctly process my paper for cancellation resulting false charge to my account. I have called the gym and their corporate office many time to ask for refund. Scott Dlliott the gym manager acknowledged my issue and told me to call corp office to get refund. Cheri/ Tara from corp office told me the company doesnt have policies in situation like this hence they wont issue me refund. Cheris supervisor Nicole never returned my call. If this is what you wanna deal with go to this gym.Scott and Cheri asked me to provide the evidence that it was the front deck mishandling the cancellation. I didnt ask for the front desk staffs names nor record the conversation. The company doesnt have QA control to record calls. Consumer be aware, always write down the staffs name and record your conversation using your smart phone. Do not allow auto draft, otherwise, the you cant prove it, deal with it attitude from their staff will ruin your day.

MAKE SURE YOU READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING. They tried charging my for an annual fee that was not in my contract, but thankfully I was able to get a refund on it. They recently charged me for the month of November even though I had FROZEN my account, and had the audacity to put a late fee even though it was not charged on my card until December. The employees will lie to your face about anything and will get you to sign without even looking at the thing that you are signing.

Every member of the staff is outgoing and professional, Lorenzo set myself and my girlfriend up with our preferred membership plan, and Casey, one of the gyms personal trainers, is very personable and very welcoming. Very clean and there is plenty of workout equipment available so you never have to wait.

Been there a week and so far so good. Staff is accommodating and friendly. Positive environment at 5:30am, no wait times for equipment, and all the right weight training equipment for what I need. Also, can’t beat the price. It makes up for not having a steam room.

My sons acct was charged after they told him that they will freeze his account. He was charged the monthly fees and also for yearly fees when he was told clearly that he would not be charged. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. Deceptive charges.

I’ve been going here for about a week. It’s got pretty much everything you could want as a beginner/novice for a very decent price. (Locker room with decent sized lockers, showers, free weights, machines, cardio, classes, etc.). Certain times, it’s very busy, especially in the free weights area. I can always find another machine to use until a spot opens up. The treadmills and elliptical machines always have space open. So far, so good.

I believe that as long as you KNOW the fees & charges around your membership, this is one of the better gym systems in the area. Sometimes it can be EXTREMELY crowded during nights and weekends. Just weigh that factor into things, before you decide to join. The classes are fun and well done. Sometimes the equipment can be dirty, but that is what happens when lots of people use the equipment all day long, everyday. Just keep these factors in mind.

I had a membership here for about 7 months. All of the locations are really well equipped for just about any regiment. The machines and floor are always clean, the staff is helpful and friendly. The only reason I cancelled my membership is because I work 2-3 jobs and need something thats open for 24 hours until I have better hours. My only complaints are that they close too early on weekends and that I wish all the gyms had punching bags for all members to use.Thats me nitpicking.Seriously.For what you pay month, you get a gym that gives its bigger, older competition a run for its money. I hope they keep growing and that I can come back to them soon.

I have cancelled my personal training membership but they are still charging me. I claimed dispute with the bank, but these frauds started charging on my other credit card which I provided for membership. Such a cheaters and frauds this company is.

This gym incorrectly charged my annual fee 20 days before they were supposed to, making me pay it even though I requested to cancel beforehand. They have avoided my calls to discuss the incorrect charge.Their idea of a workout is having you spin in circles when you try to reach anyone from their corporate office or get a clear answer from the on-site managers.It’s fine for an affordable gym in the area, but that affordability comes at a cost of annoyances you will deal with.

I left an elite gym because I felt I wasnt getting all that I needed while still paying extraordinary fees. I joined Texas Family Fitness and have been very happy. I paid a bit extra for the Ignite class and cant be happier. The group classes are affordable, well run, and definitely well worth the money. Overall I think the gym has a great assortment of equipment and is pretty well maintained. My only concern is sometimes our small group classes can have too many people at times where there arent enough stations. If these Ignite classes continue to grow in popularity, they may need to add some additional times. Otherwise my experience has been terrific!!

Just started today, everyone was friendly and happy. The GM was awesome and informative. Facility is clean and not crowded at all. Very good vibes. I just moved to Plano so this was the best value I found with lots of options and services available.

My wife tried to cancel the gym membership when the Covid19 situation had just started but was assured by customer service that she will not be charged for the membership as the gym was about to be closed. After the gym closed, we tried to cancel the membership but were unable to do so as the gym was closed. After the gym opened again, we cancelled the membership but we were charged a monthly fee. According to the sales representative, she was charged as there is a 30 day notice period. How is this ok? My wife has been a customer of Texas Family Fitness for several years but after this experience it will be tough for my wife to go back.Customer service representative did not want to listen to my multiple pleas that the gym was closed and therefore we could not cancel the membership before. He kept referring to the signed agreement.I have raised a dispute with the credit card company.7/18/2020 Update: Noone from Texas family fitness has reached out to me.

I have enjoyed my time at TFF but I am now experiencing issues when trying to cancel and avoid fees. We are a victim of COVID and are facing hardship. I cancelled onsite with no problem but cannot seem to talk to someone about dealing with paying the yearly fee....since we will not be using the gym. This is tainting my view of the company.

Just tried to cancel my membership which I dont use because of COVID-19. They require you to come into the store or send a certified letter... They wont take an email or a phone call or regular mail. Im not going to stand in line at the post office in a pandemic!!!! Totally unacceptable in this pandemic, not to mention 2020. Will never come back.

I dont know what people are talking about, giving this gym less than 4 stars. its super clean, the staff is very helpful and theres a great variety of machines and free weight choices. i love this place. the choice of music there is sometimes puzzling, but with my headphones on i give it 5 stars! this is the best deal in town for a gym!

Wonderful location. All the staff is lively and energetic and keep me engaged while Im in my zone. The general manager keeps the employees happy and in return, they treat us with the same energy. All the equipment are nicely maintained and the location is very clean.

I am a member at Frisco location as was very much impressed with the friendliness and cooperation of staff at this location. The leam led by Kira and Zachery do a good job in welcoming, educating new members about the options and schedule of classes and ensure everyone leaves with a smiling face after an effective workout session.

They end up charging your credit card even after you cancel the membership. They are looking for charity always.Any update on your statement that you are in contact with the gym to correct this problem?

Great variety of weight machines and set up. I am so glad I wandered through the facility. I did not realize how large it was by the store front. Everything is beautifully maintained and clean! Josh (personal trainer) is great and the reason I am so very sore today.

Ive been a loyal member for over 5 years and overall happy. Today, I went there with my son to get a workout with him and asked for a complimentary one-day pass for him so we could workout together. No flexibility at all from the staff, no exceptions, nada. Staff even told me my years as a member made no difference. WOW! Paid my $10.83 for a one day pass and got our workout. Not a good way to build loyalty with existing members or get the next generation of clients. :-( VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Worst Staff.. they will not listen to anything you say.I am having premium membership for more than a year and 45$ including kids membership. I went to downgrade it to basic membership and remove kids club. Worst staff from there said, you will not be charged for kids club membership if you keep premium and I said ok. It is two months I am still getting charged with 45$ and I have told two time to another worst staff, he said both the time, I will take care of it and he never took care of it and I am getting charged 45$ this month as well.........Poor Staffs!!!

The General Manager, Guy, is an absolute douche. I went in for a potential membership and quickly decided to leave without one. This classless, overly-aggressive genius of a salesman tried everything he could to forcibly attempt a membership sell. He tried to discredit every logical reasoning I provided as to why I didnt want to commit today. If he was so confident in his product, maybe he shouldve provided time to the respective member to properly decide. Instead, he projected his bitterness on me until I decided to walk out rather than have a physical altercation with this washed up Marine.Maybe you should enlist for another tour pal, youre more suited to be a grunt than a GM in the fitness/hospitality industry.

This review is based off my initial sign up and first visit. And for neither of those visits did they do anything that felt like a pitch or felt fake so I can tell they werent just trying to sell me. I was never pushed to join or sign up for anything more than I walked in for. My kids enjoyed their time in the Kids Club and my daughter didnt want to leave. And just heads up to anyone who hasnt ever joined a gym and had to leave, MOST gyms make it difficult for you to leave. And MOST gyms will continue to charge your account after you cancel especially if you dont cancel in person. I worked at a bank for years and former 24 Hour Fitness, LA Fitness and Fitness Connection customers all had that samr issue.So far Im really pleased with my choice to sign up and Im really excited to be able to make fitness part of my daily routine again.

This gym is reasonably priced, has tons of equipment, group fitness classes, high quality trainers, great clientele, and everything is in good working order. I left a high tier gym and went to Texas Family Fitness and have zero regrets. If was open 24 hours it would be absolutely perfect.

Ive been going to this gym religiously for almost 5 yrs now. I go in the mornings so I dont have to deal with the crowds in the evenings. Machines and free weights are clean and accessible. Every now and then some equipment are getting some maintenance done but that is expected for the amount of use/abuse it goes through daily. Overall, its spacious, clean, and the early gym regulars are sociable and clean.

For the price I love how much room they actually had in there and the variety of machines and number of bench presses flat and incline they had. Their showers have curtains for privacy another +. They even have enough room for this like yoga/dance room. More importantly the gym is clean and they freaking have boxing bags like are you kidding me?!?! I am impressed.

This gym has a BBB Rating of F For a good reason and I encourage you to look at reviews for all the TFF gyms to get a good understanding of their brand. You see, Im a simple dude with simple needs. Whats more, they let the trainers run operations and a lot of them are rude, aggressive, or dismissive. Today, I had an unpleasant experience with whatever manager on duty and that was my tipping point. If I displayed the level of professionalism that they show each member, I would be fired. Straight up, fired. However, there are some good staff members that do not deserve to be lumped in with the rest. Texas Family Fitness IS NOT GOOD AT charging me for my membership. Despite updating my CC information DAYS (Confirmed with ABC, their merchant) before my membership dues were actually due, they Charged me a late fee AFTER CHARGING ME FOR MY MEMBERSHIP..... What!? AND WHY THE EVER LOVING CRAP is there an annual fee on a monthly membership!? Texas Family Fitness IS NOT GOOD AT Personal Training. I paid out 2-350 for a couple of personal training sessions, my first trainer who was a good dude got transferred and I wish him the best. The SECOND trainer didnt even bother keeping his appointment with me, but dont worry, they still charged that visit against my training balance. So in short, theyve screwed up literally every part of my gym experience, were really unhelpful about it, and Im taking my business elsewhere.

I have been a member of every fitness place ever in Plano, Richardson, wherever, in this area. For the MONEY?? You CANNOT beat Texas Family Fitness. They have free weights, all the machines, tons of cardio equipment = no waiting. They also have nice restroom, the entire facility is pleasant and open, and the atmosphere is clean and positive. You are not going to find a better deal ANYWHERE. Do not pass GO! Go straight over there and sign up!Paul / Plano

I had a membership with a place called Impact Fitness in Valley Ranch. They closed down almost overnight around October of 2016 so I just started going to a new fitness center. I later realized that they were still charging me for the membership even though the place was no longer in business. I tried calling but that didnt work.I started investigating the charge and found that it belongs to a Texas Family Fitness. I called to stop the charge and they said that I cant stop the charge unless I go down to one of their locations and do it in person but I cant do that since I moved to Chicago last year. They gave me the runaround and eventually, they gave me their corporate office number so that I can call and get that resolved but they said the same thing and if I cant do it in person then I will have to do it with a mailed letter.I was charged for over a year for a gym that was closed down and their explanation was that Texas Family Fitness had bought the members when they closed down!!!!Eventually, they agreed to cancel payments over the phone which only shows you that they just want to make it impossible for you to cancel and keep charging you their fees.I will be reporting them to the Better Business Beru of course and I will be filing a case with the local small claims because I was not notified for any of this and according to my agreement, my contract ended in May 2016.Anyhow, I wonder how many people had to waste many hours of their life trying to figure this out and stop payment and how much money they lost in the process.

Its cheap. Thats its best selling point. Im paying $9 a month for access to a pretty basic facility, and its not worth more than that. Much of the equipment is worn out, or broken, but still operational enough to deal with it.The showers are a mess. Sometimes theres no hot water, or no soap. And today it was extremely bad. The shower area has had mud on the floor, lose bandages, and razor blades, pubic hairs stick to the wall since yesterday, and no one is bothering to clean it. I requested that someone service the showers, and the clerk argued with me. I asked him that I wasnt trying to cause trouble, but theres been 24 hours to clean it, and I think someone should attend to it. He said hed get someone on it and then just stared at me. He didnt page anyone, or tell a manager or anything... He just stared at me. So, Ive been waiting here in the locker room for someone to come clean it for the last 15 minutes, and no one has come.I just want to take my shower after my workout. But I wouldnt bathe a pig in this mess.*** Update ***To their credit, theyve recently started maintaining the restrooms and showers again. Theyre never what Id call clean, but theyre not filthy anymore either. I suppose thats as good as its going to get.

Changed to 4 stars because although it took far too long and some kind of mistake had been made you did refund me. When I get the final refund Ill make it a 5 star.

These guys are charging me even after I cancelled my memebership and they don’t respond for any queries why the account is charged.

Fitness center looks interesting, but dont fall in trap with looks. As I was in hurry with daughter, sales associate Lucas misguided. I havent stepped into the building single day And was charged even after 14 day canceling membership. Its 10 day free trial but was charged $5 for me. Monthly fee is $10 but was charged $21.65. These guys are really thirsty for customers......

I freeze my account but then they are charged me about $120.

Gym staff are very nice and always willing to help or hear any suggestions. Still waiting on that 20lb missing dumbell....LOL! Great gym equipment for the serious lifter and lots of cardio machines.

There child care prices are so expensive. I have to pay more in childcare plus monthly fees and yearly fees.Going back to fitness connection. I only paid 10.75 a month with child care included for both my kids for 2 hrs in the am and 2 hrs in the pm.Plus, they have better equipment and more to offer. Including vibrant colors to brighten up your mood. Texas family makes me feel so depressed with their color.

I dont know why your company decided to leave flyers on the cars in a parking lot 2 miles away from your company. Thanks for the trash, I completely dislike companies that do this. If this is the first impression you can count me out.

Such a disappointing experience. Staff at this location have miss informed me of ways to end my contract and now I have been charged way 4x more than what I owe. while working with corporate as soon as they got my cancelation they sent me to a third party collection before having the option to discuss or make any payments on possible balances. Beware of all your options in case you have to move away. Truly poor customer service.

DO NOT WASTE ANY MONEY HERE! They have over charged me and said they would waive my next month but than charged me again and then claimed they would waive the next 3 months to cover the difference and still charged me AGAIN anyway. No one there takes responsibility or tries to take care of the customer. Horrible experience.

I was amazed to read the number of negative reviews on Texas Family Fitness. I have been a member of the gym at this location for many years. It started as Express Fitness, then closed down for a while and the location reopened under Just Fitness 4 U which was later bought out by Texas Family Fitness. The management under Texas Family Fitness has been excellent. As with all gyms that I have seen, keeping the equipment maintained and in good working order can be a challenge, but Texas Family Fitness makes a good effort. This gym is designed to serve most mainstream fitness activities with emphasis on treadmills, elliptical machines, weight machines and free weights. Some specialized equipment may not be available. There is no pool or hot tub, no sauna or steam room, no martial arts training area, but if you are looking for a convenient, inexpensive place for aerobic or weight training, then this gym will work for you.
