Juan was great and so far everything seems to be working beautifully on my MacBook Pro 2015. I was ready to get a new computer and he was able to repair my keyboard issue and also clean all of the inside and checks that all things were running correctly. He was professional and has the equipment and certifications to back-up the quality of his work.

I brought my MacBook Air that my son had cracked the screen. The sound on my MacBook Air suddenly stop working. I had never heard of these guys but gave them a chance as I was desperate to get back to work. Since Rona I’m WFH all via zoom and video calls. I have been searching long and hard for a professional Mac book extraordinaire and I found one with one call! I called at about 10 am to see if I can get an estimate and received an appointment, same day for 2 pm. I arrived to get an estimate and he knew exactly what I needed within minutes. It gets better, I left my laptop there because parts needed to be ordered and 2 hours later I received a call saying it would be ready for pickup in less than an hour and a half! The price was amazing, customer service was great and now after months of searching, within hours I was back in the saddle of things with my new screen replacement.

The Engineering Room can repair or service those products without the hassle of going down to the Galleria or even further. You can call and make an appointment. I took my mid 2010 iMac to Juan after it crashed. I had already given up hope and was resigned to hearing its time to buy a new one. Juan asked me questions about how I use the machine (no gaming or heavy graphics design) and based on that he suggested lets not jump to any conclusions before running diagnostics. After his check he told me my hard drive was bad but the graphics card and power supply were good. Given that I had adequate RAM memory he suggested I replace the hard drive. He serviced and delivered my machine in a timely manner at a very fair price. My machine is way faster now. He can do Macs, laptops and phones. A small office (to keep his overhead down) that does amazing work. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

I had liquid damage on my Macbook Pro that I just bought last year and I can not tell you how terrified I was - as my way of making a living depends on my mac. I called Apple support and set up an appointment to go to one of their places - it was one of the worst experiences I had with Apple. I left the facility and looked up places near me, Engineering Room came up. I called and they were very responsive and told me I can come in that day, they would open up my laptop, run a diagnostics and wouldnt even charge me. (Meanwhile, Apple gave me mis-information and was asking for $65 just to identify the issue.) I entered their facility and was immediately impressed. Very organized, clean, and you can tell that they highly are knowledgeable about what they do. We found Juan using a Google search and reading his stellar reviews. The company’s MacBook Pro that we use for video editing failed to turn on one morning. Took it to a local computer repair shop that came recommended but they couldn’t repair, would have to replace the logic board they said. So I began looking for someone who has expertise at actually making repairs, not just removing and replacing components, as the logic board is expensive and we wanted to salvage the data on the soldered to the board SSD drive. Thankful that we found Juan who opened up the computer and inspected it before I even left. He had the problem diagnosed and repaired in a short time for much less than the cost of a new board. We should have never needed a repair on the relatively new Mac but thankful we found Juan to help us out of a pickle.
