I went to get highlights which was supposed to be $125 when I spoke to someone over the phone I also sent them pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like before my appointment, when I went there the girl who did my hair told me that it would be $175 because those are not highlights it’s balayage. I wanted light caramel and black highlights and she colored my hair black and put some dark brown that wasn’t even visible. I showed her the photo again and I told her my hair doesn’t look anything like the picture and she took me outside the store and said stand in the sunlight and see how your hair looks like; brown will be seen in the sunlight. She took me inside I spoke to a manager and showed her the pictures again and she agreed that my hair did not look good. They told me that I could reschedule an appointment but I still have to pay $175. First time, last time! Bad bad experience and worst customer service. I have attached pictures of what my hair looked like before and what my hair looked like after and what I wanted my hair to look like. Please don’t go there don’t waste your money like I did.

I went in to get a correction done after a bad haircut at another salon and Jesse did an awesome job. He listened to what exactly I wanted to get done and added his recommendations as well. He not only fixed my hair but styled it so well that I’m in love with my new hair cut. I have never seen someone cut hair so well. Would absolutely recommend Jesse to anyone looking for a fresh new style!!

This place is good, clean and pretty friendly. I am giving these stars to Amber. My daughter wanted a haircut basically back is long and sides are short, but got the opposite one. Sides are longer and back is short. The weird part is Amber tried to convince us this is the style she wants like she does not know what she wanted. Disappointed!

If you are looking to do a cut that is fun or different make an appointment with ALICE! She of course can do any regular cut phenomenally but she is an amazing creative!!!! I had so much fun letting her do her thing on my hair. The end product was just beyond my expectations in the best of ways. She is amazing and will listen to your needs/desires. I’ve had a great experience with everyone that I’ve had the pleasure of letting do my hair here.

Jesse Mills is a true artist! I walked in with grown out layers and he listened to me and what I wanted and then improved on it. I walked out on Cloud 9 feeling beautiful, relaxed, and attended to. I used to go to the location at Watters Creek in Allen, but the atmosphere is very poor. I came here and I absolutely love it. Theyre very professional, kind, and the stylists listen to what you want. I had Lexi, and she was so gentle with my hair that I was falling asleep haha She was incredibly kind and gave me what I wanted. The receptionist was also kind and professional. Everything was wonderful here.

This was my first experience at TONI&GUY since I normally go to Great Clips for a cheap trim (never again too many bad experiences). I was greeted by a delightful receptionist and was seated right away to my stylist, Colleen. Colleen was EXCEPTIONAL. She listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. I was able to ask questions about products and what steps I should take on my hair to make it healthier and she gave suggestions without forcing me to buy something (another bad experience I have had with other hair salons). I havent had my hair done in over a year and I came out of the salon with a huge smile on my face that wouldnt go away when usually I end up crying lol. I even took selfies afterwards because I felt so beautiful. If youre looking for a salon with great customer service and wonderful hairstylist, such as Colleen, I would definitely recommend this location and ask for Colleen!!

Go see Colleen!!! I went in last week to get a haircut after almost a year from COVID. The salon was very clean and all of the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. Colleen took care of me and shes just wonderful. She was very patient with the fact that I was so nervous to try someone new and made sure to make me feel comfortable!! Her quality is consistent, especially with the type of layering she does with my hair and I always leave very happy with the cut/style. Have been to a lot of Toni and Guy salons. Never been disappointed. This one however is very disappointing. Very bad attitudes by Colleen and by Iris. Would not recommend this place due to them.

Really disappointed with this toni and guy location. Ive been going here for 5 yrs but after this past weekend I will not go again. The quality is very hit or miss which is surprising since they all have the same training. I dont have the luxury to follow a specific stylist because I am a single mom and only have 1 day that I can go and it seems like the stylists schedules change all the time. When I went on Saturday I was booked with someone Ive never been booked with before and normally it takes 2 hrs to fully foil my hair for full highlight. She was done within an hour and a half and was taking huge chunks of my hair and not putting any color on it at all. I specifically told her to cover my grey in front and she never touched it with color. Since she didnt cover it very well my roots are still dark, I spent $200 and it doesnt even look like I colored my hair. Eventhough theyve been very nice, I am just disappointed with one time I come out with my hair amazing and then another time it looks like it was barely colored. Also when I made my appt they didnt tell me she was one of the more expensive stylists so I was not happy about spending so much. I usually dont like to complain but the quality of work there is very inconsistent when it should not be. The pictures posted, one is a few weeks before my appt and the other one is today 3 days after my appt and I havent washed it yet. Please let me know if you can tell the difference.

Wow! 5 stars isn’t enough.As a guy I was kinda of skeptical about coming to a salon but Colleen was easily the best hair stylist I’ve ever had. Even my regular barber doesn’t compare to how great of an experience I had here. Colleen doesn’t only cut hair well, she also is very personable and made the experience as relaxing as possible. If you go here I would definitely recommend Colleen as your go to hair stylist!!

Margo has been cutting my hair for over 10 years and I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone but her. I constantly get compliments on my hairstyle. Not only does she give an amazing haircut, but she makes the entire salon experience unforgettable. A haircut from Margo is priceless!

Horrible customer service, they don’t call to confirm your appointment then they try to charge you for missing it. Their work is not good. Lots of the good people from before quit and now they are all horrible. Take 2 minutes to cut your hair and charge $75 for it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Horrible service, horrible place !!!

Everyone here is super friendly and professional. The store is always clean and always being cleaned. I have never had a bad experience at TONI&GUY or this location. Kim always does an amazing job with my hair and we have great conversation. The prices are reasonable and I always love coming back.

I highly recommend this location but mostly my stylist Francesca Marzioli. She brings a level of talent and professionalism I have never experienced. I walk out each time with color that looks natural and a cut I get compliments on often. Check her out I can’t say enough good about her and the salon.

I’m super picky about who I let cut and style my hair because I have had terrible experiences in the past, but Colleen more than met my expectation. She is amazing! Not only did she listen to what I was wanting, she perfected it! I gave her a rough description of what I wanted and it came out so much better than I what I thought it would. She washed my hair, and made me feel so relaxed, she made sure I was always comfortable, she did a beautiful style in my hair, and she made me feel like a friend. I will definitely return, and think I have found my permanent hair gal!

Anna Sullivan colored and cut my hair on two different occasions and she was of course amazing (see the 5 stars)!! She has such a great personality so that you can talk to her the whole time and feel right at home, all while she completely gives you the perfect look and makes you feel wonderfully beautiful. She does a phenomenal job and she is so passionate. Im going to see her as long as she lets me!!

Im speechless. I’ve left a handful of reviews in my life but feel it’s necessary to let T&G know they have lost a long time “trusted” customer of this location.I called ahead asking for a product to repair damage to my hair. I was told about a product they had available and drove across town to buy it. I was handed it before having to give it back because of an issue concerning their internet. While I understand all businesses including mine have technical difficulties, I would never have made my long time regular customer wait outside for 30 min for the hope my internet could return. I offered a check and offered to come back tomorrow to pay or over the phone with a Manager. It’s a small $15 bottle of product. I would have gladly given it to my customer for the loss of time, gas and inconvenience to their night. It’s about taking care of the customer and making it right. $15 temporary loss? Try a few thousands in reoccurring visits gone. Very disappointing. :(

Liz is sooooo great she did a full set of blonde highlights this is honestly the best my hair has ever looked I had pretty dark hair on the bottom and she blended it so well now my hair is actually blonde this only took one time and my hair so amazing shes great with blonde hair these highlights are amazing plz if its your first time at this salon or you need blonde hair ask for Liz ...thank you girl!!!

She has always had an eye for Foreman beauty and it was no surprise that she chose to be a hair artist. She also does make it beautifully. Disappointed about their service!!!I went to this place twice but the first time was okay. They just sent a girl having less experience to me and I had to stay there longer just for fixing the color of the roots that were a little different from the others but I didnt complain about it. It turns out good. I decided to go back there again since My roots were needed to be dyed again.I scheduled the appointment on Saturday. Then, some days later, they called me for rescheduled because they couldnt find one who could dyed my hair on Saturday. I had to schedule it on Sunday. It was still okay to me until Sunday, I got there for 11 minutes late because of traffic since I live a little far away (but I like my first experience). When I got there, they said I was late (11 MINUTES LATE) so I would have to RESCHEDULE again and on ANOTHER DAY instead. That made me disappointed about that place. They treat their customer like they are my boss. If you feel okay with being flexible to their appointment because of having a higher level hair stylist and colorist (MAYBE) then it will be okay, if not, it is NOT WORTH for you to spend your time on!!! Tonny and Guy Plano.... I will NEVER come back there gain!!!

I have been going to this place on and off for 3 years now. Crystal is amazing for hair cuts.But i went in today and I’m blonde. And wanted to brighten up ... i specifically told my colorist “ the last guy i got here was very subtle ... i want drastic change for the lighter “ after it was over i went out with friends and they said “ oh wow you decided to go dark “ I saved up for this and was completely let down .I won’t be going back sadly ... but crystal is awesome

Im not sure what kind of training these people get but the quality of their job it terrible. They dont listen or they dont care. Or they simply dont know how to do the job.

I am very disappointed with my service at Toni & Guy School. I had highlights done by student who did that service for the first time. The supervisor didnt bother to check often on his job. After the service was done I still have about 0.5 inch visible roots. I feel that I wasted my money today. When paying spoke with receptionist about poor service she told me that i can come within 2 weeks and have roots redone. I dont like to put hair chemicals so often on my scalp. Today service lasted 4 hours. I have to add that I had used their services in the past and I was happy with the outcome.

I had several inches taken off and balayage with Laura back in October and it still looks like a million bucks! Thats like 3 months. Cant wait to come back and brighten up again.

Terrible customer service, been going to the Toni and Guy stores for all my hair needs but the Preston park location is the most disappointing. Today being the lowest customer service Ive ever received. I came for my hair appointment to find that whoever was in charge of opening salon didnt do that, so employees and customers were waiting until 11:30am for someone to open the salon. Then the person who was to color my hair made up lame excuses to not even attempt to dye my hair, guess she wanted the morning off. Walked out with no reschedule, apologies, or anything to make up the time wasted for the salon not even opening on time and no attempt to even offer a tint. Disappointed and will never return and warn anyone else of this terrible place that has always been a hit or miss with hair.

I always get a great haircut when I go see my stylist, Isabeau! I have been her client for about 13 years now. I will admit Ive made the mistake of going other places once or twice and I came right back. Toni & Guy trains their stylists much more than any other place Ive been to. As with anything, Ive learned you get what you pay for and my haircuts with Isabeau are worth every penny because I know I can trust her!

Just experienced The Worst haircut by Alice. Please be cautious!!! Shes either incompetent and afraid to admit it or just lazy.Wanted a long bob and her way of cutting a bob is to part the hair then go around and cut it to length. THATS IT. She tried to style it to make it look like a bob but its not even close. My husband could have accomplished this in the same amount of time in total of 5 minutes (not exaggerating).Ive showed her pictures pointing out that I like volumed hair; my hair could not be flatter without the use of a flat iron. Unfortunately, I will be reminded of this hideous haircut for the next 10 years because I need to renew my passport asap. She genuinely ruined my day and my future mornings when Ill try to make due with what she left on my head.

I had the worst experience at this location a few months back. If you schedule an appt for an updo, beware..they may stick you with someone that has very little experience with updos. Thats what happened with me. The guy even admitted to me that he hadnt done an updo in a very long time, while doing my hair. Which tells me he had barely any experience. I walked out looking like a school teacher with a rats nest on the back of my head. I will never go back.

I like the Stylist! My fault I didnt remind her not to use the Mizani smoothing product. My hair is fine and that stuff makes my hair super straight and stringy looking. I was quoted one price on the phone and it was different once I paid. I told the person on the phone what I needed.

I cut my hair with Kim, she was very kind and dedicated from the beginning, I showed her a photo and left my hair as I wanted it, I had never had it short before, so my experience of long hair short was a success. 2 weeks before Kim also did my nieces haircut, a totally different cut from mine, my niece has long hair and wanted to keep it, she just wanted a modern cut in capable and with bangs and Kim did it. So I decided to try it and it turned out. I recommend it!!
