I have been going to the Boardroom for over 4 years every 2-3 weeks and have loved the atmosphere and the quality of their work. You cant get a bad haircut no matter who you go to however, if you want the best of the best it would be Phi. She is very attentive and listens and remembers everything to the smallest request. I have tried a lot of barbers only to come back to Phi and the Boardroom every time. Highly recommend this location over the rest.

Started off by going using a gift card that I received and immediately fell in love with the place, the reviews for John are on point! He truly is the best barber I’ve had and I grew up in the Dallas area. I bought the 6 month membership and see him every 2 weeks. A great haircut makes me feel confident, and that’s all a man can ask for.

I loved it once again, amazing experience for top executives . The personalize attention, environment, LAXMI taking care of every single detail, I loved her since the first time, when is washing my head, if feels so incredible, my hands and hidrátate my face . So marvelous. Definitively I highly recommended for the men y level top executives, at the end you can play Billard, make sure you hit the black ball in the hole

John has been cutting my hair for over a year and a half now. His skill and attention to detail are second to none, and having tried a few other “premium” salons in and around DFW, I can comfortably say that I have found my perfect fit with the Boardroom. The facilities, amenities, and staff are all top notch too, and the all round service and experience is well worth the price. I would highly recommend John and his team, and always look forward to my next visit!

The atmosphere is really cool and I had heard some good things. I have visited three or four times each with a different stylist because I was not content with the haircut I got from the last person I visited. I really wanted to like this place but the quality of cut is poor even if it was a $15 cut. I ended up going somewhere else to get it re cut after my last visit.

Katie was great and accommodated me perfectly considering I had no idea what I wanted to do with my hair. It was so long and out of control. Very patient and did an excellent job. Also Victoria the receptionist was very friendly and made me feel welcome. Great vibes here and I definitely recommend checking them out.

Phi does a fantastic job of cutting the most challenging hair styles. I have had to search for a long time to find someone in the Plano area who knows how to properly cut a flattop. Finally, I found Phi who is able to style around my cowlick and give me a professional style cut that looks great. Ask for Phi, she is the best!

I’ve been to boardrooms all around DFW but for some reason never to the one closest to home. Well this is my new go to. My appointment with Phi was great, she was helpful about how to manage long hair as a guy and she gave me a great cut/ wax/ massage and really got me tuned up and looking fresh.I’ll be back to get my haircut with Phi!

Great barber shop in Dallas.

The stylists are great, but the recent addition of a $3 Covid fee doesnt sit well. The fee also does not show up in the booking path until the confirmation screen. There is no extra personnel for cleaning and the stylists dont seem to have anything different provided by the salon; the only noticeable difference is that there are plastic barriers up now. Charging $3 to every customer (except members) seems like a money making ploy and not to cover ongoing, recurring increased expenses. There was nothing as part of my haircut that was worth the $3 fee.

I love this place. Come in, have a beer or two before your cut or shave or whatever youre getting done and everyone is professional and funny. Its nice to have a place just for guys to go and get pampered.....we need that every now and then. All the staff is cool and friendly. Jon is fantastic at cutting hair and gives the best fades. It took me YEARS to find someone who could do a fade just right and he can do it with ease.The girls at the front counter are always nice and willing to help in whatever way they can.

Good place for mens hair and beard grooming. We went for a beard grooming for my husband, who is a new bee in the beard world. And they did an wonderful job. Also they gave us coupons for next hair cut and beard grooming. They also have a referral program for friends. Their service is pretty fast too. And it is located right at shops of legacy, so you can visit the wonderful shops and bakeries while waiting too.

Good haircut, relaxing environment. That would be my review in short. As all places do, it has its shortcomings and its things it gets right. For starters the staff are super nice and helpful. The environment is top notch and authentic feeling. As far as negatives go I would say that it suffers just a bit from being a little overpriced for its basic service. If you just need a quick cut, maybe go somewhere else, but if its a special occasion or you just want something a little better it might be the place for you.

From the start, incredible service and a warming greeting. Got incredible service at the front and as mentioned before, Phi did an amazing job. From there, I decided that instead of just getting a cut, I went with the membership. Going to be going once a week now. The extras beyond the haircut are worth the membership price! And now, I can make sure to be kept clean cut and looking sharp.

I really like this place. I used to be a Sports Clips kind of guy, but wanted a consistent stylist and a better experience than I’d had in the past. It only took one visit and I was hooked. The team here at Plano Legacy is incredibly welcoming, polite and timely. I see Phi and she’s a rock star! Great quality cuts, fair pricing and an overall good experience. Used to be a 5 star till Flora moved to the Lakeside location on Preston. If you are wondering where she is go see her. That location is larger and more relaxed as well! Flora makes Lakeside a 5 star!

Took my 13 year old and they were great. He got a quality haircut with advice and product and so I got a cut as well. Michaela was great and helped him understand the type of cut that best fitted his hair type and face type. The staff was all pleasant and eager to help both the stylists and the front desk team. Will be back both me and my son.

Always have had a great experience at Boardroom. I started going to the Allen location and John cut my hair. Hes great! He always listens to what I want, and also gives suggestions on what works best for my hair type/texture. He moved to the Plano location, and I had to follow. Always have been treated exceptionally by the staff!

I wanted to go to a place that did hair cuts and styling for men, I did not mind spending extra. I got more than my moneys worth. It was $43, they had nice recommendation, nice cut, some pampering and was out. Definitely would make this my regular place. It would become even better if they offer waxing for ears and nose.

I had my cut with Katie and she did a fantastic job! I showed her a few pictures of asian men haircuts and she gave me good suggestions on what type of styles would suit me. Katie was very precise during the cut and the result was exactly what I wanted. She even gave me good advice on what were the best products to style my type of hair. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience here and will definitely come back again!

Boardroom Salon provides a premium grooming experience and I am happy to call this particular establishment my home when in need for a fresh clean-up. John is my go-to stylist and has managed to create a regular, he is an expert at his craft and truly the cream of the crop among stylists in the greater Dallas area. I recommend scheduling with him and giving him the freedom to work his magic, you will not be sorry and will really appreciate his meticulous attention to detail. From what I have seen here you really cant go wrong with any of their stylists. The long search for a regular barber you can trust ends at Boardroom.Side Note: If you can find it in your budget, take advantage of their membership program. I am leaving a second review because the other app wasnt working properly and only allowed a 1 star review. I normally dont leave reviews, but the services I have received at boardroom have always been superior and that has prompted me to now leave a second. Lita and Angela are the two that usually cut my hair and they have always made me feel like I was part of their family and my hair had never looked better (just all my wife). If youre looking for a place that not only provides superior services, but also makes you feel like part of the family, then I would highly recommend this place! Ask for Lita or Angela and promise you it will be the best overall salon experience youve ever had.

All high end places in and around Dallas offer good services. What separated boardroom from the rest was how good John was. I had long hair for 8 years and bounced around different places before cutting them short with John. He was awesome. Good attention to detail and understanding of what I wanted. The customer service at Bordroom is always amazing and John is a master at what he does. Everything he has done and suggested has made my hair healthier and look better. Initially, I thought the prices were on the high end, but it is honestly worth every penny (especially with the membership).I recently also started seeing Emily for my eyebrows. I’d been visiting the Boardroom in Allen for a while, but needed to make the switch to a location closer to my office. I came to Google looking for reviews to see if anyone stuck out at the Shops at Legacy location, and kept seeing John’s name over and over and over. I booked an appointment, and WOW, am I glad I did! John (who is also the Salon Manager) has certainly earned every positive review written about him, and also has built up a great staff around him. John first asked me what I’d like to do with my hair, made some suggestions, answered questions about why my hair does certain things, and then made my hair look exactly how I’d described! At the end, he even showed me how to style my hair the way he did so I could repeat the look at home. John NAILED it, and I’ll definitely be a repeat customer of his for the foreseeable future. On my way out, the ladies at the front desk were extremely friendly and conversational and helped me pick the products I wanted to buy without being pushy or trying to guide me to certain products.I highly recommend any Boardroom location (as they’re all good) but John and the Boardroom at Shops at Legacy have gone above and beyond.I’ll see you in a few weeks for another cut, John!!

For years I had gone to a chain (sport-themed) salon for my haircuts. Every cut was with a different stylist, and even though I showed the same photo of what I wanted my hair to look like, every cut looked different. The only constant was that I never left feeling 100% satisfied with my cut for the money I paid. I eventually started waiting a month to get my hair cut because I was so displeased with the experience. At the Boardroom, you always get what you pay for. During my first appointment, my stylist (John, who I cannot recommend enough) looked at the same photo I had showed all those barbers before and said he wanted to try something a little different. I loved the outcome (as did my wife), and Ive trusted John ever since. Every recommendation hes made--from hair care to shaving products--has improved the health of my hair and face, and I look forward to my hair cut every two weeks. Go to the Boardroom, get a membership, ask for John, and finally start getting what you pay for.

I dont have the ability to convey just how great this place is with text alone. You walk in and are immediately greeted by the delightful staff, they offer beverages while you hang out and relax. John was incredibly prompt and almost immediately knew what would be best. I cannot recommend The Boardroom at the shops of legacy enough, and if youre coming I highly suggest John!

It was a really nice place and the staff was friendly and kind. The problem is the pricing. The haircut I received was a good haircut but for 50$ (counting a 20% tip, because thats what you should give with a decent haircut) I expect much more than a good haircut, I expect it to be amazing, there shouldnt be a single uneven hair. Basically I paid twice what I would at any other place, and I didnt get even close to twice the quality.

I use Lita as my primary stylist and Angela as my backup if Lita is booked. 4 years as a member and have really loved it. Atmosphere is great, everyone is friendly and professional. I havent gotten a bad haircut yet. The membership was nice too because I was on a project in Houston for a year, so I got haircuts in the woodlands... which was super convenient. Couldnt recommend them more highly. I was a member at another similar place and was eventually priced out when they tried to charge me an extra $120 to use the same stylist I had always used. The Boardroom doesnt play those games.

Salon design/layout is make executive oriented. Staff is friendly and customers and staff interact, fun atmosphere. Could us a couple of TVs in the service area so I can keep up with the latest games. Only TV in the waiting area. My stylist Lita does a great job. I recently switched salons to follow hairstylist John. He is definitely an expert at his profession. Hes also very personable and has a fun, upbeat personality – one of the best Ive seen. It doesnt get much better than this so if youre thinking about coming to The Boardroom at Shops at Legacy, theres no reason to hesitate.

Connor had a good experience here. He got a very nice beard trim and a haircut. He wears his hair long, so his haircuts are a little more involved. He got washed and styled, too. The place is nice. It is clean and the staff is great.

Not impressed with the cut.. plus one of the barbers had to ask my barber how to clean the Combs 😳 yikesUpdate: I tried emailing the email they responded with but got blocked. They couldnt find my profile because they misspelled my last name. Maybe Marrisa misspelled her email as well. Regardless it reminded me of the Starbucks next door.. overpriced for an average experience.

I decided to try out the Boardroom Salon after being continuously disappointed with the cheap places, so I figured maybe I should spend a little more to get the results I wanted. Ive been going to this location for almost a year now, and I will never go anywhere else again. I had the pleasure to meet and have stylist Phi cut my hair my first visit, and have requested her every time since then; she is simply awesome, and I cant recommend her enough. She works with you through every step to an amazing extent to make sure youre getting exactly what you want; her communication throughout the process is unlike any other hair stylist Ive come across. Shell also give you her professional advice and opinion and she has never steered me wrong. I simply cannot recommend Phi enough if you visit - she is absolutely fantastic. As for the rest of the experience, its all great - I dont have a single complaint - the rest of the staff are always very professional, courteous, and polite. Yes, you will spend a little bit more money here, but it is 100% worth it.

The Boardroom Salon for Men offers Executive Memberships with premier services of haircuts including shampoo, scalp massage, Barbie chair shaving, waxing, hand and foot grooming which we know as manicure and pedicures. Men are welcomed with complimentary sodas, waters and beers. They leave relaxed!

This place is awesome! From the moment you arrive in the door Sandra is very accommodating with your appointment, beverage, and delivery to Von my barber. Von has been cutting my hair since coming to The Boardroom and is always timely, proficient, and on point with what style I am in need of on a biweekly basis. I would highly recommend this place to any business professional that cares about the maintenance and up-keep of their outward appearance.

I visited the Boardroom at the Shops at Legacy because my long-time barber, Phi, recently moved there. Phi was great, as usual. I have been to many hair stylist over the years but nobody has provided the full detail job that The Boardroom Salon has provided for me. I will only go to the boardroom salon bc they not only cut my hair but can also wax my eyebrows, clean out my overgrown nose hairs/ear hairs and can even do a Real Hand Razorblade shave on my face all at the same time. Ive usually worked with Lita who is instrumental in taking care of my needs but I have also worked with John and other stylist who have also been amazing. If you need a GREAT haircut/manscaping from a professional this is truely the only place in DFW that will do it all at a fair price. I highly reccomend TBS!
