Ive been going to Razors Edge for years. Everyone there is so friendly we just feel very comfortable. The shop is clean and well lit. If you get there early, you can relax while you wait. Mike, who cuts my hair, greets you with a smile and there is pleasant conversion while my hair is being cut. I hear the same going on at the other barber chairs around me. Alwayus feel refreshed after my haircut.

The place is really nice but very disorganized. No one truly welcomed me so finally Peter ask if I needed anything. I said I need a haircut and he didn’t ask me anything else, no “is this your first time”, nothing at all. So we go to his chair and he didn’t ask me what kind of haircut I wanted so I proceeded to show him a couple of pictures and he just rolled his eyes as if I was bothering him. Anyway, he literally took no more than 7 minutes to give one of the worst haircuts I’ve gotten in a long time. It was so bad that I had to YouTube and tried to fix it. I had to make an appointment with a beauty salon so they can fix it. This was truly a terrible experience and I would advise people not to let the area or even the interior fool you.

Im not sure if this is fair for me to post this because Ive been a barber here for almost 16 years. Many of the barber shops you see around town are franchises. We are a family owned and run shop. Mike and Bettye Cravens are the owners and they take such good care of us that we have very little turnover. As you can see in the pictures below we take the coronavirus very seriously. Come see us for a quality haircut!

Barbers are employees and usually have a long history there, which is nice. So many hair care providers rotate through staff every year.

I have been going to Thomas at Razor’s Edge for over ten years now, and the service is as good today as it has ever been. Thomas does a fantastic job every time and makes the visit entertaining from start to finish.I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than five minutes for my appointment, and my hair looks great every time.Mike runs a great shop and everyone there is friendly. Courteous and professional with out exception. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Always a great experience at Razor’s Edge. I’ve been a regular since 2014. They have quickly adapted in response to the pandemic with separator screens between chairs. Everyone wears a mask. Highly recommend David. Consistent and clean, each visit.

I just love the hospitality at this barbershop. It was good seeing everyone again. Everyone was wearing masks and there are screens erected between every station.

If you like a traditional barbershop experience this is the right place for you. You can even get your shoes shined during your appointment. Very friendly staff for a no nonsense haircut.

Went here for the first time a couple months back to try it out. Boumney was my barber, she asked me questions about how I wanted it done. I didn’t explain much but she definitely was intuitive and gave me one of the best haircuts of my life. There’s no reason to get your haircut anywhere else.

Unfortunately having to write this on behalf of my friends awful haircut experience with Peter York. My friend asked for a razor fade and was instead given a one with clippers. When he tried to ask Peter the plan for the rest of his haircut (fade), he was met with disgruntled responses and a poor cut. Hes now wearing his hat all day in shame. Moral of the story: whatever you ask Peter for, expect the exact opposite.

I initially called and asked who was the best barber at this location that can do high and tight fades, they recommended someone and I instantly booked an appointment. When I arrived, my barber was changed to someone else at the last minute for whatever reason. I should have known at this point it wasnt going to be a good experience. The gentleman who cut my hair was more concerned about talking to me and recommending places to go than cutting my hair. While it wasnt the worst haircut Ive ever had, I would still give it one star. I ended up finding another barber in the area who does an excellent job!

Best barber shop in Dallas in my opinion. However, Ive been going to the owner since 1995 but once you find a good thing why change? Most of the barbers have been there many years which is a great sign.

First up, I would give Razors Edge a 4.5 if I could, but didnt feel it was worth dropping a full point. My only complaint is pretty typical of most up-scale barbers... the price.For the price though, you get a nice rich looking environment, full compliment of services, friendly staff, online booking options, reminders and a nice selection of retail-priced care products.I have tried three different barbers in the shop until I found one that clicked for me. All were professional, polite and seemed to know what they are doing and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend any of them. As with many services, it is about finding who is the best fit for you.Full disconnected fade on the sides and back slicked back pomp, neck shave and general cleanup is quick getting in and out in around 20 minutes.

Mike has been cutting my hair since 1998. No better place to go to!

The Barber I had was named Jerry and he did a great job. It was a last minute decision and they were able to take me as a walk in which was also great. This is by far one of the best mens cuts Ive gotten, I really liked it. As for Jerry if you decide to go.

I walked in without an appointment. They took me right away. I wanted a fade, a new sry,e for me, and was very happy with the outcome. Thomas did a great job and I’m very happy with my new look. Everyone was very friendly & welcoming. I will be going back!

This place is awesome. I have been going here for over four years and still love it. Hair stylists are the same when I went their for the first time. The owner takes good care of his employees.

I have been going to Razors Edge basically since Mike opened the original shop...since like 2001 or 2002. I know my 14 year old got his first haircut with Ann a long time ago! The shop is very comfortable and the staff are all very nice. Judy cuts my hair and Ann and Brian have been cutting both my boys hair forever. The only place for us!

Jerry Stratton is my barber. Since the first time he cut my hair I instantly became aware that he takes pride in his skill. He is very good at what he does and I have not gotten my hair cut by anyone else since. I am also under the impression that everyone else at that shop is at the least of equal level of skill from what I have observed.

I tried this place today, and I could not be happier with my haircut. Kerry cut my hair today. Kerry asked how I wanted my hair cut today. Kerry thought what I asked for was too short. She said she would cut it shorter than it was, and if I wanted to go shorter, she would do that. Kerry cut it just the right length.

Im relatively new to the area, and had not found a good barber until today. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in, and Thomas was both very friendly and did a great job cutting my hair. I will definitely be back.

The front desk woman was extremely nice and helpful. However Shelley ( the one who did the cut) was absolutely by far THE WORST at her job. If I could give her 0 stars I would. Literally did nothing but talk, used a bic razor when she should have used a straight razor. Gave my boyfriend the bic, and told him to line up his own sideburns. He gave up trying to tell her what style he really wanted and walked out of there with very short hair that still had longer patches randomly in the front. Had to go somewhere else to fix her mess. Im sure other people there know what theyre doing, but Shelley absolutely does NOT.

On Friday morning 7/10 I walk in, front desk gentleman was talking with another costumer with out stopping and ignoring me.Very poor costumer service.I was going at this place for while now .No more,hopefully they will take this as advice in future.

Hands down the WORST haircut I have ever gotten in my life (Haircut looks like someone stopped cutting halfway through). Im still in shock on how bad my haircut looked. Had to go to another shop later that day to fix the mess they had made.
