Clean and nice place - they cater to men and young men. They cut both my sons hair and they did a great job.

I made a last minute appointment and came in a few hours after calling.The team was very nice. The receptionist was super nice.It seemed very clean.They offer you a drink beforehand while you wait (soda, water, beer) which was nice.He shaved my neck with shaving cream and a straight razor.The Express Cut was $28 before a tip.

Found my new permanent stylist here (Alexa) after losing my previous stylist to parenting. Alexa is phenomenal and helped me decide on a new hair style to go along with my male pattern baldness. My wife and friends have all commented on how much better my hair looks now.

Boyfriend came home from this place and whoever did his beard and hair did a terrible job! He went in on Wednesday at 2pm and whichever lady that did this to him was by herself working and he asked for her to trim his beard as short as possible while still having a full beard and all she must have heard was go as short as possible cause by the end of it he had patches everywhere. He also asked for his beard to be dyed and she did it THREE times and there is still gray hair in his patchy beard.....Not to mention the terrible job that was done on his head. You can tell where she cut his hair but it wasnt enough length cut off muchless cut evenly. I cant believe he paid $70 for this mess! Never again!!!!

My fiancé just went there for his last haircut, eyebrow wax and beard trimming before our wedding in 4 days. However, the haircut looks horrible, the beard was not trimmed even though he asked her to, and she did one wax strip on his eyebrows. To make matters even worse she listened to a podcast the entire time. So now we have to redo everything somewhere else. He had a great experience last time and this time was horrendous. DO NOT GO TO CHERRY (or however you spell her name). We are so disappointed.

My husband is always telling our family and friends about Roosters. He absolutely loves it. He says the staff they have now are some of the most welcoming and funny people he’s ever met (Sally Brian and Joanna). He goes in, is greeted immediately, asked if he’d like any refreshments, then is seated to watch tv or read magazines. Within 5 minutes he was called to a chair for his cut. They do an amazing job, and he has a great time conversing with his barber. More of our family and friends will he making appointments soon. Although new management had a bumpy start, they are now thriving!!

Worst Roosters in Texas so far. If you care for how you look, avoid Joanna! I didnt notice her mistakes until I sat in my car and conducted a closer inspection. Immediately I noticed patches missing in my beard and mustache. It looked like she took a tiny malfunctioning lawnmower to my face. She was the only one working Monday, so I could not have anyone else from Roosters fix her mistakes. I had to make an appointment with a different company to fix the poor haircut and beard trim that I received. This included an uneven medium fade that I had to bring up to a high fade, due to Joannas errors. As long as she is employed at Roosters, I will not be coming back. If you choose Roosters because you like to pay more to trust the quality of your haircut, skip this location.If you must choose Roosters, choose Sally. She has cut my hair/beard perfectly in the past at this location, but that experience cannot save Roosters from this review. The public must be warned about Joanna.

I have to agree with some of the recent comments. The new staff members are nice and they do a good job, but I had to wait 30 mins past my appointment to get started with my haircut, something that had never happened before with Aegis. As I was leaving, they got started with a haircut for someone outside their appointment time and the person with the appointment walked in a minute after. To me, the biggest benefit of paying a little extra coming here has always been the reliable scheduling. However, it seems like that sticking to appointment times is no longer a thing.

Cherry is the best barber/stylist Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. I only go there for her cuts since Ive never walked out regretting it, or looking like an eagle chewed my head.

I am still bothered by how i was treated last week at Roosters when i am a long standing client.when entering the store i was greeted by Sally, she quickly asked if i would like something to drink, then ask me if i would be paying cash or credit. STRANGE. i have not even sat down in the chair. Guess new management have their own agenda going on.will be looking for a honest establishment.

I have been here several times to many. Read reviews and find it surprising that there are as many reviews that are more than 2 stars. Only way possible is the employees themselves must be asking family and friends to submit a 5 star. The stylists here are unskilled and lack enthusiasm. Frankly I am shocked this shop is still opened.

I received a haircut by Bryan. This dude is legit. He gives you that barber service youve been dying to get. I almost didnt write a review for him because I dont want him to be overbooked to where Id have to wait to see him. His attention to detail, his professionalism, and his style are exactly what Ive been looking for in a barber for the past couple of years. I feel like Ive finally found someone that I can confidently go back to time and time again.

My husband booked an appointment for himself and our son. They showed up and the only person there said the hair dresser was on his way. She eventually called the hair dresser and then told my husband, yeah nevermind he’s not going to come in after all. So I guess under new management it’s acceptable to just show up when you feel like it at the inconvenience of the customers. I suggested my husband write a review but he was too angry and said it was obviously a dying establishment so why waste anymore of his time.Since I like to read reviews and honest experiences I figured I should let people know what happened. My husband and two boys will no longer be spending money at this establishment.

I finally reached the Why I am paying for this level of dissatisfaction with the discount chain that had been cutting my hair for years, so I decided to try something new. Roosters was an excellent choice. The shop is clean and inviting. Juliet provided a superb haircut. Lorraine was my barber and did a nice job. I am pretty sure prices adjusted with new management. Last time I paid $30 for cut and shampoo. This time was $28 though I did see a cut for $32 online and didnt ask about it. Lost opportunity for upcharge. I had to ask for straight razor on back when it was done before automatically. At any rate good job and will try another place as new management seems to need time to work out kinks.

I have had a great experience every time I have come to roosters. Wayne is a great stylist, and is very attentive to questions and concerns. He also cares to remember his customers, and been drawn memory to reference the cut from the previous visit. I dont feel any need to monitor the haircut, as every session with Wayne has resulted in a great cut. Highly recommend him and roosters.

This place is the real deal.... way more than just hair cuts (shaving, beard trims, waxes, beard colors, etc.). Its like a man spa. Prices are reasonable given the high level of service. I would definitely recommend to guys looking for a high end barbershop experience.

I worked at Roosters for a little over a week. They do have a talented crew, but they serve mostly straight hair people. I never saw any Black clients come there for a cut. In fact, their clients in some cases prefer white barbers (non-black). I have yet to be paid for the work I did there... Only a partial cash payment as if I were being paid under the table. The management (Mrs. Nermeen) continues to lie about my wages. If and/or when she satisfies her obligation I will post that too.

This is a big mess, I do not know where to start this shop never been like this before.everything changed, new staff totally unprofessional, long wait, they start provide women services. i can not believe this happening at a high end barbershop supposed to be only for men. Instead of feeling relaxed while getting haircut you hear loud music, unprofessional conversation and language, chemicals smell. i wonder if the owner of this shop is concerned of what is happening. This is absolutely the worst experience i ever had since i been going to this shop.

Brand New Customer and NEVER going back.Trying out a new place. Walk in and the place is dead no customers. Ok fine its only 4:00 I talk to what I thought was the receptionist, told her I had an appointment. She then gets up and walks to a stylist and then begins to ask what im here for. I proceed to tell her a shave and hair cut. She then asks for your shampoo do you want it before or after your Hair cut? sorry are shampoos always after the hair cut ? So I was handed off to another stylist even though I made an appointment with someone (Joanna), I asked where is that stylist. she begins to tell me that is her and she is busy doing paperwork. I asked for my appointment to be canceled and left. She then followed me out to my car, asked for me to come back in and she would give me a discount. explained that they are under new management and need customers. If this is the first impression you give to a customers your new management needs some serious HELP.

I have been coming to this establishment for over a year now and have always been treated with respect and kindness. The drinks are located in a fridge and the standing offer is for anyone to grab one.This place keeps track of my haircuts and it is very nice that when I come back in for service, they already know what I want.They have friendly hairdressers, and a nice facility. I go here once every two months or so and it is a bit pricy, by for the staff, respect and service. It is totally worth it. Especially for the massage and hot towel.

I just moved back to Plano, and Wayne at Roosters was recommended by a neighbor. They were right. Wayne took the time to understand how I wanted my hair cut, and then cut it just the way I wanted. He took the time to cut, trim, shave my neck and shampoo. I felt like I got the royal treatment at a very reasonable price. I will be back.

Looking at the reviews that have been posted in the last few weeks is quite disturbing. A manager was speaking negative about a former crew, good or bad as it may of been. i am sure if this manager was professionalshe wouldnt put herself in or on a topic that would fall onto a past crew member or members. just goes to show what the owner has hired. if you have nothing nice to say about someone say nothing.

My experience was similar to a few past reviews, which made me post my experience. My appointment was last week 2 out of the 3 stylists had No one in their chair, my appointment was with Sally she was busy doing a female client which was shocking seeing in a barber shop turning into a womens salon. 25 mins. later and no one offered to cut my hair, i had enough and walked out. Lots of kinks needing worked out here

Wouldn’t recommend a beard trim here. After having noticed some issues with the symmetry of the trim I asked to have it fixed just to end up with two different styles of beard on either side of my face. It was a waste of money because I had to shave it all off as soon as I got home.

Wonderful experience. Set an appointment on their App. Made is super easy to check in. Was welcomed right when I walked in and offered a beverage. Wayne was my barber very professional and cut my hair just the way I like it. Staffs is very professional and friendly. I will be making this my come to spot.

I go here every time I need a hair cut, no matter what. All the stylists here are skilled, though lately Ive been working with Nermeen and shes been excellent. I am someone who can easily have a BAD hair cut, but theyve been consistently good here.

Great experience at Roosters! I have curly/wavy hair and it is hard for me to find a barber shop that does a good style cut. Nermeen was recommended to me and did a wonderful job! She layered and trimmed like I had been coming to her for years. Highly recommend Nermeen to guys who keep their hair a little longer and will definitely be coming back.

This is by far the absolute worst experience I could ever have imagined. I understand that I showed up for a haircut 15 minutes before close, but that is no reason for anyone to receive the service I just received. From the unfriendly welcome, to the barber not saying one word the entire time, only to offer everyone else in the room a beverage except for me. Wait theres more... The manager, Skylar, came to me in the middle of my haircut and asked Can we get you to pay so we can close our drawer and then proceeded to open the blinds allowing the sub to hit me directly in my face. This was all okay, I was willing to let it slide, until there was no goodbye from the employees and Skylar had a horrible look towards me on her face. I let my friends out and then expressed how unprofessional and unfriendly their team was. They proceeded to call me unprofessional and told me that if I expected good service, not to come in right before they closed. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? I came in to spend my hard earned money and you said okay. You could have easily told me to come in another time, instead you took out your aggression on me and my neck the entire time. BUT WAIT, theres more! While I am sitting in my car writing this review, Skylar, continues by coming outside and yelling to her friend in the car that she would have been off sooner had it not been for the A**HOLE that came in and pointed towards me. I am a normally happy guest who would tip great for even okay service, but from this experience I hope nothing more than to see this franchise location close its doors. I will be in contact with John, the owner very shortly to express my concerns for his business. I will be taking my business anywhere else.It gets even more annoying as the owner has been in contact with me multiple times asking me to take down my review. Not only did I have to request the option of getting my money back, but he did nothing above and beyond to treat me like a valued customer. Their service and outlook on how to create and establish business is skewed from modern day ethics.

Rarely would I give such a low rating but Im p*ssed.At first while getting my hair cut I was annoyed but was willing to let it pass. I normally get a hard part on either side of my fade, this usually entails a straight razor, but the stylist didnt tell me that she doesnt use one until she was already cutting my hair. Whatever, its not what Im used to, even though every mens barber shop Ive gone to does it that way, that can be overlooked.What cant be overlooked is that if a beard trim is on the menu youd better be good at it. I asked for the lines to be crisped and a general shaping/trim. Being annoyed I left quickly after paying and didnt examine the job done. When I got home I see that she shaved almost 3/4 of an inch off my cheek line! For any man that has a beard you know that means daily shaving or awkward growth now. Ive been growing my beard for exactly one year this time around and this was the 6th time Ive had it trimmed and the first time ever someone made a mistake.If you cant do what the customer is asking for or are unsure you need to speak up. I would have happily left and left a positive review about the honesty but now, now I will preach from the mountain top to all my bearded brethren nation wide to steer clear of Roosters.

Below you will see my original post after which Nermeen called and asked if I would come back and give them a chance to make it right. I did and she did a great job! I will definitely be coming back to see her for my next haircut. On a side note I learned upon my return that April is no longer employed at Rooster and I am sure that the other barbers are also very good at what they do.Thank you Nermeen!I love a lot of things about my only visit to this location, my big complaint was my haircut.... April gave me a whole new hairline by shaving around my ear and way too far up my neck. What is even worse is that one hairline is higher above my ear than the other and the only way to make it even is to shave even higher on the other side. I will likely give them one more chance, once my hair line grows back, as I see a lot of other people have great experiences here but I will definitely select a different person to book my appointment with.

These folks trimmed my hair in a very professional style. I enjoyed their service and professionalism.

Pointed out that the back was not straight and showed the stylist the second picture, she replied with its not like that.Im literally showing you a picture of it like that. Other picture is after she begrudgingly cleaned it up a bit, but its still crooked.

Naveen is the worst! I actually had to go to Sport Clips to get it fixed. There was little hair to work with, now I look like Im in basic training. If you decide to go anyway, ask for Ashley.

Im rather particular on whom I have trim my beard. But I found a keeper here.
