Ive been looking for a nail tech since I moved for a while. I made an appointment with Kevin and I am beyond satisfied and happy I did. Ive gotten so many compliments on my nails. He gave me exactly what I asked for. No clumps, no bulges, and every single nail is shaped perfectly. He was also friendly, the nail salon is very clean, lots of space, not crowded but I noticed everyone had appointments so I recommend you call and get one. I also got a pedicure from one of the girls, loved it as well. This place just became my new spot. So happy.

There is only one nail technician that is up to par. The owner Kevin is rude. He doesnt know how to speak to customers and doesnt know how to work with natural nails. When I voiced my concerns about a pattern of broken nails, replacing full sets in less than a month, his response wasnt apologetic. It was more of a its your fault for cleaning too much. When you sit down with them they start adding extras for powder, polish, designs, ect. They lost our business because of poor customer service andOVERCHARGING!The truth is, I called you on the phone because my daughter wasnt comfortable with the way you put her with a technician that isnt good. The last time she was given to that technician, her nail came off the next week and she had to come back. My problem with you is youre RUDE and you OVERCHARGE. I dont mind paying for good service. Customer service and quality go hand and hand.

The best place in town!! Every time I go to get a gel manicure, it lasts longer than any other! I am rough on my hands/nails and their gel manicures last 3 weeks! I will not go to any other place in town. Their pedicures are also amazing and last for a month if not more! Love this place!

This place was absolutely beautiful but the Service was horrible. I walked in expecting greetings and cheerful service but that is not what I received unfortunately. My pedicure was rushed and the guy doing my feet seemed to be extremely clumsy. In all actuality I think he dropped everything because he was rushing. Which I’m not really sure why he was rushing because it was only two people out of 15 to 20 chairs that was getting pedicures. I am glad I got the experience but I will never come here again.

Horrible & I mean HORRIBLE customer service! If you aren’t a regular they don’t even care about your nails or anything. I had one of the guys do my nails & I wanted short nails & he didn’t cut them down to MY liking. They weren’t even the same length as my other hand. My nails look great, but I gave them 3 stars because I came in with a photo of exactly what I wanted, a nude set with two foil glitter set nails. I ask the girl at the front if they do it and she said yes. I wanted to do a fill in and the gentleman told me if I wanted my nails to be like the picture I’d have to do a full set (+$20) I said okay. He then told me since I wanted to do a nude, the pink powder would be better. And again I said, if I do this will it be exactly like the picture, and again he said yes. So I said okay to the pink powder (+$10). So fast forward full set is on, pink powder is applied. I’m going through swatches to select the right nude and the gentleman now says oh we can’t do the glitter foil.....???So I ended up doing a regular color. If I knew this from the beginning I would have never gotten the full set or the pink powder. I feel that they purposely tried to charge me more.But they did do a good job with the shape of my nails. I will come back but be mindful if you are trying to do a specific style.I updated my review to 1 star because I recommended them to a friend and they told her they would charge her $145 for a basic full coffin set. When she asked more questions regarding other styles they became abhorrent. Will never go back.

Kevin did an amazing job on my nails. Not only did he take his time, but he also explained the damage that had been done to my nails from a previous salon. He made me feel confident that he’d take care of my nails. Capital nails is now my new salon.

They do good work but when you pay with your debit or credit card they charge you a fee. I dont think thats right. They should cover the credit card fees, not the customers. Not to mention those fees are tax deductible...thus, it seems to me they get double the fee back....charge us, then claim it on their taxes???

The gel polish sucks!!! It ld and clumpy. The nail tech had to do my feet 4 times before she could get it right. This is my last time going there. They had the nerve to move and remodel the place but cant get no better polish.

At the salon. Worst experience ever! I dont drive at this time, so this was the most convenient option for me. The water from the pedicure splashed upwards into my pants and pocketbook. None of the other workers who did not have clients including the manager offered towels. My teenage daughter went to get me napkins. At that time, the worker offered a towel. My pants was soaked. Thank goodness that it was hiking pants meant for outdoors. The water was also at room temperature. Who does that ? It should at least be warm and then the customer can request it to be warmer or cooler. The place looks clean, however, CUSTOMER SERVICE is a zero!!!!

I started going to Capital Nails three years ago and I must say it is a fantastic place. Kevin is an expert with nails and I can trust him with mine. Last year I decided I wanted to try a new place because it was cheaper. Biggest mistake of my life, my nails were getting full of fungus. I was politely greeted upon my arrival and serviced right away. I walked in on a Sunday afternoon. The place is spacious and clean. The staff are polite and efficient. I got a regular pedi and gel mani for $45 which is decent/average price. Straight to the point nail spot that I’ll be returning to based on this experience and the customer service. Way nicer staff than Nails 3000 on Park Ave who were extremely rude to me right from the door.

I dont normally write reviews, but I found this place on a Google search. When I walked in, the staff directed me to sit down immediately. As manicurit started to do my nails, it was apparent that this nail salon was not like your normal nail salon. Talk about 5 star service! When I went back 2 weeks later, they remembered me. Not to mention, the facility is clean and my nails were beautiful. You must go to this place. You will not be disappointed!

This is a great nail salon! Immaculately clean and the service is above and beyond. In order for this standard to be upheld I dont mind the rules about children and appointments being made. Salon is very clean and pretty however there’s probably like one person who knows how to do nails, they charge ode money for simple stuff & on top of that do a bad job. Never again coming here, every single time I’ve came it’s been a bad experience.

I was in the area visiting and a friend of mine stopped in to get a mani/pedi. I got the deluxe pedicure and a regular gel manicure. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. Will definitely return if back in the area.

Their work is great.. however The last time I was in there a man walks in and asked how much is a manicure French tip and Kevin tells him $60 and man replied man that expensive because usually they are only 15-25 max I replied yeah that is expensive and the lady told me he only said that because he didn’t want to do his nails. So price has nothing to do with your service. It has to do with if they like you or not that was my last straw because The time before that I went to get a fill in Kevin took me and after he took off my nails and I paid i went to the car and cried because he made be feel so bad about my self asked me if I was stupid and what’s wrong with me... especially hurt because I was having issues at school.. and people are not telling the truth that place is DIRTY. When I got my eyebrows done their they used the same wax stick for every client which is NASTY. They SUCK AT EYEBROWS they made my eyebrows 2 different sizes that it’s taking me a whole year to fix. They gave me ingrown hairs and they have bugs flying around. And they will look at u and laugh but talking in their own language. They will also tell you how Your fingernails look weird the work is ok but the customer service Sucks

First time getting my nails there and I LOVED IT!! I love the way that Kevin did my nails. They have a good quality they welcome you very good. Though make sure when u make an appointment be on time 😁 but other than that its a great place and I recommend it!‼️

I love going here for Kevin. Ive read some reviews and Ill give my opinion.1- This place IS expensive ; However, you get what you pay for. Ive gone to at least 3 other places to do my nails and theyre NEVER as good as when I come here. They last longer when I get them done here by Kevin himself and they also help my nails grow.2- Kevin is strict regarding kids. I have a 6 year old and I go with her constantly. Sometimes he has a smart mouth but never disrespectful and hell go only as far as one (as a parent) will allow him to. Im not one to let my child wander around the salon doing and touching anything and I think he sees that, which is why he doesnt say much to her. Shell talk to him while hes working or just standing there and hes never been impolite to her. Hes given her quarters for gum - any chair to sit close - anything as long as it was not inconvenient to other customers.3- He promises his best work and although Im sure other workers there are great - I always go to Kevin. He knows by now that I only go to him and he tries to accommodate my busy schedule, as well as my long commute (I do not reside in Plainfield).Overall, besides the prices being too high - there is absolutely no reason I couldnt give this business 5 stars.
